Does Mettle Of Man get used over borrowed?

Just curious, in a recent round I had borrowed's endurance applied to me with time left, then i got hit, Mettle of Man stayed fully lit up, I healed back to healthy and it seemed fully active?

Then, when I was injured again, attempting to take a hit to save a survivor, I got downed and the perk deactivated.

Am I missing something or does this UI representation not align with what happens?

If this is the case, should borrowed save your mettle of man?

  • The question is, when you got hit did your screen became bloody and did you have to mend?

But yeah i think Borrowed used to overwrite Mettle... (which then in turn made it so you cannot use Borrowed and Mettle in a sequence)

  • Imagine having 3 health states.

No, which makes sense. But it still removed borrowed's endurance status so it slightly confused me. Although, that makes sense since you shouldn't get another hit in deep wound.

    *Healthy

    *Injured

    *Dying

    There you go :-)

    Oh, so Mettle activated first?

So yeah that's entirely diffrent from how it used to work a couple months back.

  • It should have activated, if you got all the stacks and the killer hit you with his m1. Mettle does not protect the user from going down (even with 3 stacks), if the survivor is currently in "deep wound" state or goes from healthy to dying state. But, as you said, you healed up and then "used" mettle of man.
