There's no real way to add more Endurance effects (to current known mechanics) that won't make them overpowered.

This post is not a feedback/suggestion one, why was it moved? @Gay Myers (Luzi)
It could be stretched to "A very... diffrent way to ask for changes to adepts".

Second Wind would have to get a cooldown of sorts. If you're any competent you can gain a token between those 30 seconds.
Camaraderie just makes bond, empathy, aftercare useless!
Babysitter is interesting tho.
-
Friendly reminder this is a REWORKED map. They actively made this spot a thing on it which is even more annoying.

Just a question but what is that lit perk in the second picture? I've never seen it before
They changed the icons for perks. I do wonder what it's replacing.
-
I recall they were making changes to this perk on PTB so the bonus % works only on rummaging... what happenned to that?
-
1 step forward, 2 steps back.

I've been surprised by how fast Victor is able to be rereleased after a survivor kicks him, so I don't feel as though being able to do so is truly punishing. But admittedly I have not played the new killer since PTB, so I do not have any personal stake in a change at the moment.
Becoming the obsession fits thematically, and could make for some really interesting builds on the Twins. I'd be about it.
I feel somehow more punished for crushing Victor.
-
Makes it look a lil' more cute?
Or they just run out of budget or something.
-
^ As they said, the perk existing means EVERY killer (that isn't new) will avoid pallets 24/7.
You need to wait alteast a month to maybe get full value out of it.

Is Victor himself getting BP from chasing a survivor?
My guess is a no.

... Just why.

This actually sounds really good, and doesn't seem overpowered but definitely a perk that a lot of people would run.
Question is, would people use it while it provides exhaustion WITHOUT any other effect.
People did want this as a buff to Lithe.
-
Actually a reasonable buff.
Auras of openned chests are revealed to you within 32 meter radius. If you already rummaged a chest, you no longer view it's aura.

1. I think it's in the same tier as Unnerving and Overcharge. They're all perks that mess with your skill checks and can be countered by experience. Plus if I'm not wrong, Otz gave all 3 of these perks 2 stars
2. I get what you're saying but if it were the other way around (The Obsession is the one that can remove stacks while everyone else can give stacks) killers will just end up tunneling the obsession. It's the same problem as old Dying Light
- Oh my bad. I worder that super wrong. I meant the perk levels that each of them have. Your version doesn't have any way to "level up"
- Doesn't it then become weaker than it's hex version?
-
Okay
- There's no way to tier this perk as it stands (and they don't seem to want to remove that for now),
- You're really underestimating how many times 3 people can hit a great even with miss-timed skillchecks.
-
Solidarity... but worst somehow?
-
I know that for DS that you are most likely to be obsessionActually this is false. It actually lessesns the chance although it states it increases it. Unless it was changed recently and I didn't notice.
-
I think the wording is also a bit confusing. From what I understand it goes like this:
- Get hooked
- Be on the hook 20 seconds and get saved
- Get hooked again
- Use the remaining "40 seconds" as attempts to unhook yourself.
That's a big 2nd chance perk... RNG ofc but oof. But still as the person above me said you're still unhooking in front of a killer which means you'll get downed.
-
Only the "default" outfit gets bloody.
Any extra pieces of clothing (for example for buying the DLC from steam store) don't get a bloody version.
Although, still, they should.

Check this out to see how many shards you get per player level: https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Player_Level
If you have 22K+ shards, you are not a casual player. You're past level 100
I just checked the PS4 price in the US, it's $30. I'm in Canada, should've mentioned that. I believe it's $20 USD for PC only
Level does not equal casual. Don't confuse new players with casual players.
Casual means they just don't play that often/they don't "tryhard" during matches, no?
@PccK said:
I think if the base game is free, the player base would at least triple in size.
The base game also doesn't offer much. You have a few basic survivors and killers, without access to the fun perks and play-styles. If casual new players start getting into the game, they WILL want to spend more money to access the rest of the content. The problem is most people never get to that point
As it stands, the pricing is pure robbery. The game is not new-player friendly enough
And would double in hackers...?
Again, the game should be cheaper, you're playing for like 1-1,5 triple AAA games if you buy everything.
-
The game shouldn't be free.
However it definitely should be cheaper.

Matches are so short... You can just get hooked twice if you really want to forfeit.
Ah yes, let me just quickly pop my killer body on the hook and sacrifice myself.

@QwQw said:
No offense but that is a terrible idea, Camping is a strat that is needed by many killers to retain pressure if survivors are still in the area so having the killer teleport somewhere else would be a big nerf. Also survivors could show themselves to the killer then run to the hook to force the killer to watch them get a free save or force them to teleport away. I'm really hoping that this was a satire post and I'm just being dumb..
My people need me. My final message. Goodbye.
-
There was an experiment that did this... But it was way limited (I think a thousand people got in).
Having this would be cool. However they should make the rift longer for these 2 days, because you cannot literally complete some challenges then.

Maybe survivors should just be given a mini map with the killers location on it at all times lol
Stop giving them perk ideas.

wondering why the Dweet is self-caring next to you, only to realize they're mending. To be fair the animation is quite diffrent.
-
but when i do have shivers down my spine i literally mess up everything i do soWell, characters don't think of setting the pallet up when they drop it without a perk. So logic doesn't really apply here does it?

YES! Exactly! Instead of actually adressing core gameplay issues, devs turn the fixes into perks and sell them to us!
HEX is gone in seconds because of totem placement?
Slap Undying + Thrill of the Hunt on it!
Do survivors constantly tab gens in mid chase so you have to kick them all the time wasting tons of time?
Slap Dragons Grip + Mindbreaker on it!
Are there places on the map where hooks are almost unreachable?
Slap Iron grasp + Agitation on!
Do survivors always take the game hostage till the time runs out?
Give Blood warden a chance!
Do survivors take the game hostage without triggering the exit gates?
Slap Whispers on!
Like there are so many perk designs the devs created after user feedback about legit core game issues. Am i supposed to run them all?
Sorry but ruin and undying takes up all space already. I have no idea why devs even bother to throw yet another kick-perk into the game. It's just pointless, realy.
Sorry but ruin and undying takes up all space already. No, you still have 2 spots. You could fill it with Whispers and something else.
However if survivors are seriously doing something like this then they should adress that in whatever way they want to.
-
If the match really got cancelled, check again when you get back to the lobby if you truly lost that pip.
Sometimes it bugs out and just shows you losing it in after-game screen but you still have it in the lobby.

Completely wrong, this killer NERF is simply meant to avoid frustration of newbie survs at looping, since they will escape more chases
Killers win zero with this measure, zero, or ask this pro looper, he will be doing 5-gen-hold so easily from now:
How newbie are we talking?
Cause newbie survivors don't even know how to loop "effieciently".

@AggressiveFTW said:
I don't think this perk would need that buff if the Undetectable status effect would actually do it itself. Also, I would use Spies from the Shadows a lot more often on stealth killers if there would actually be crows in indoor maps.
Or more crows in general.
I legit don't seem them half the time.

Spectator mode is already a thing
Yeah, however that only shows what the current survivor is doing.
Imagine that you could spectate what the killer is doing all the time (and tell your friends that EVEN when they're not in the conctact with him)
-
No. And my reasoning is:
have to sit and wait for your friends to finish surviving, it would still be good to be able to run aroundI don't want to be spied on 24/7 by a survivor that died.
-
Wait WGLF is now considered a broken perk? That's news for me.
-
Which killer would willingly choose to play against SWF?
Like seriously?

I believe survivor Rift quests often encourage bad behaviour that negatively impacts the teamwork survivors are meant to have between each other.
Two examples I can think of at the top of my head are the totem cleansing and "risk" quests. The totem cleansing quests encourage survivors to run around cleansing dull totems instead of helping out the team. It is always frustrating to see someone without Inner Strength cleansing dull totems because they want to complete their quest and it is baffling how bad behaviour that negatively impacts the team is rewarded.
"Risk" quests are quests that encourage risky play which does not benefit the team. An example of this is the quest that requires you to complete a generator in a killers terror radius, which encourages leaving a gen almost completed so that the survivor can go taunt the killer to chase them, only to complete the gen in their face. Not only does this encourage bad economical play as the gen can be kicked, blocked etc. but it also encourages bad sportsmanship where the survivors feel like they have a reason to engage in behaviour many would consider toxic.
These quests can also be easily changed to far better ones. Instead of a quest that counts all totems cleansed, how about one that requires less totems but it only counts hex totems? Instead of a quest revolving around completing a generator next to a killer, how about one where you have to complete a generator after being chased off it by the killer?
The totem cleansing quests encourage survivors to run around cleansing dull totemsAnd thus removing NOED (and other hex perks) while doing so.
An example of this is the quest that requires you to complete a generator in a killers terror radiusAnd with this I agree. Some of these challenges require unnecessery risks (see that one Dwight "be close but not in the chase" challenge). HOWEVER:
Instead of a quest that counts all totems cleansed, how about one that requires less totems but it only counts hex totems? Instead of a quest revolving around completing a generator next to a killer, how about one where you have to complete a generator after being chased off it by the killer? How are these better? 1st one requires the killers to run hex perks (I know the whole undying+ruin is a thing but not everyone runs it) which is something you can't really control. And with randoms is even more annoying.
2nd one promotes doing exactly what you said in why these challenges suck, but more.
-
They're testing to see HOW exactly the game is unbalanced without BL.
Making the same effect but mirrored for survivors literally changes nothing.
-
Short answer: No.
Long answer: The shrine of secrets is somewhat RNG (aside from 2 perks for each level one week during it).

And this is... Bad?
Yes?
It basically becomes a guessing game each game for 2 minutes.
Especially when there are 4 survivors and 1 killer.

Wait this perk also can give the Killer early prussure because it's very esay to patrol the first 3 gens on the Killer.
It just adds unnecessery risks for killers that don't run Corrupt Intervention.
Do I risk stopping survivors from doing gens far from me or stay here to make sure these 3 gens don't get done 50% faster.

So people buy Clown maybe
It's not his Tome tho. They're basically breaking the foundation of ealier tomes.

@[Deleted User] said:
Probably just a filler challenge.
Yeah, I understand that.
However, it's a killer perk. Kinda weird considering Clown's potential future tome.
-
Tunneling can be beneficial IF you know what you're doing. Remember when you eliminate that one survivor the game heavily slows down.
You just need to understand when and how you tunnel someone.
-
More like... annoying matches.
Unless it works almost like a firecracker. Then it's okay i guess.
-
I just dislike the fact that some builds would be forced for specific survivors.
(Oh and also David would become most likely the most used survivor just to level up)
-
There should be an in game tab that also informs you how close to completing the challenge you are.
-
Eh, it will basically force killers to avoid pallets (if survivors wiggled enough).

What i mean is on league of legend pbe i can test a champion before i buy it and play on the pbe everyday its always open but for dbd i dont know if its like that if it is maybe that why they dont let it open so ayer dont swich to the ptb because live server are so broken player on the pbe wont change much
PTB is only open for 2-3 weeks.
Then they close it.
