Always thought a military theme would be fun. A lot of choices for the survivors and killers from various domestic services formal and combat dress as well as iconic foreign military dress.

Problem with this is the short duration of the ptb. Trying to start out with the killer balanced and buffing or nerfing as needed will result in a more balanced killer in the limited time frame.

Well its equivelent to body blocking a survivor in a corner/basement just for the sake of holding the game hostage since it stops the bleed out timer. I wouldn't do it. It's a prick thing todo and if you do it to long or often you will probably get banned.
Rule 1: Don't be a prick and you'll never get banned.

I only DC vs a Legion if he is cheesing the chase mechanic since there is no counterplay. Devs said they are working on a fix atleast.

I'm not a fan of survivors who don't burn offerings racing survivors who did for lanterns. The guy who used the offering will get points you won't. You will find another one. Obviously the other guys were dicks too though.

Well the simple fact that BHVR chose a couple streamers who openly depip as "Fog Travelers" shows the devs are fine with rank manipulation. They give them free auric cells and what not to represent the community by deranking.

Billy is probably the most balanced killer. He has everything what a killer needs to combat current genrush meta without beeing unstoppable. Just git gud and try killer yourself at high ranks for multiple weeks.

It's alright just got my 4th coin. I like to play 50/50 survivor/killer but am mainly playing killer due to que times

It has just as much of an effect on veteran players as new players because a veteran player hitting 4 great skill checks will progress a non-ruin gen 20%+the amount of seconds he repairs.
You get 5% progression added when hitting great skill checks, but with ruin it does not. The only difference being the shock thing that stops progression all together for a second or two. It affects new players more, but I'd argue that it also has a huge effect on veteran players that would get their gens done 20-30% quicker if they got 4-6 skills checks on the gen.
That being said, I really don't think it's too bad. It forces players to go do totems and potentially getting the location of dull totems just in case of NOED. I find that if a killer runs Ruin and NOED, the NOED get's take down rather quickly, because people have been looking for totems previously.
Great skill checks give 2% progress not 5%. Also veteran players know every totem spawn so can destroy the totem very quickly if nearby.

Well to me the best way to git gud at console nurse is practicing chases. So if you haven't found someone by the time they unhook returning to the hook makes sense. Chasing the uninjured survivor at that point for practice would be the correct choice.
