Oh-
I still remember during the 5th anniversary, a Deathslinger shot me but a crown podium miraculously spawned between me and him and I escaped due to it.
-
Pig gets ROASTED on her own map. The only saving grace are her trap RNG and mediocre stealth.
-
I wish we were able to have lobby customizations bc this event is visually appealing.
I wouldn't mind keeping some of its displays on my lobby after the event.
-
As a SB user, 99%-ing it will not be consistent so I don't think it should be an issue and it has more flaws than DH.
1) Not everyone wants to walk every where
2) You can still be hit during the sprint
3) Once the boost ends, it's fair game since it only helps for the first few seconds of the chase.
-
Killers are getting changed every now and then so there's that.
As for maps, screw map offerings and RNG.

In addition to this, if a nurse were to make a mistake with their blink, she can still easily get a hit due to the completely unintentional mind game. Something that should be incredibly punishing can fall so flat from being so. It's actually quite astounding...

Yep! Chases against her are very inconsistent and good to god nurses will end up picking up a survivor's tactics.
-
Interesting... haven't seen a NOED idea like this before.

I think a cool buff for head on would be to allow other survivors see your locker aura within 32m, so it can be more useful in solo q
It would!
Anything to make it better than it's current state.
-
Tuning down her add-ons would be a good start.
Idk about her power. It goes against the game's formula and it would be hard to change it without annoying the nurse mains who want to keep her "unique-ness".

congrats <3

That's the perk I was referring to as the second worst Killer Perk in the game.
I wouldn't classify Fire Up as the second-worst. Pretty sure there are more that fit that spot.
It has its uses and builds. Not saying it's good, but it can be managed.
-
Well, we have Fire Up :p

Head On.
Give it more love.

HAHA! I have beaten you all. I do not even have Dead Hard as a teachable and I never will! I've got the other two David perks but not that one and I will never do David Adept. HAHA! I win!
Unless they change Dead Hard into a silly meme perk. Then it'll be hilarious.
Oh my... here's your trophy!
@TheArbiter said:
It would be funny if dead hard worked opposite the way it does now. You can only use it while healthy, and using it causes you to take one health state of damage.
I've heard of that suggestion and it would be interesting, but I don't think the devs would do that only because it would interfere with his adept (No mother)

That would be so much fun. Great way to make Head On competitive with the other exhaustion and keep the meme factor everyone loves
That would be fun tbh.
It still keeps the "offensive" theme the perk has and gives it more opportunities to be used. The new lockers on every map were already appreciated but vaulting into the killer aside from lockers would be fun.
HEAD ON DESERVES LOVE SMH!

Dumb Tech buff?!?!?!?!?

I'm sad seeing none of Jane's perks on there.
They have potential but are heavily handicapped with specific conditions and limitations.
Especially Head On. It's so dynamic but needs a little bit more love.

Actually no, it's kind of the opposite. But I guess that's something you would know if you knew how to counter a Nurse ...
Oh, so console issues are magically fixed based on your comment? Do you face range/recharge nurses while playing on console?
PC nurses dominate us. Mind telling us how to counter her then since you apparently know how to?
-
I love Sprint Burst and has been my go-to exhaustion perk forever but I will say that it has more conditions and flaws than DH. SB is a great perk, but DH allowing survivors to be hella greedy spikes their ego smh.

Oh silly me, all I need to do is acquire the same level of skill as a competitive Dbd player! It’s all so simple!
Lemma see if I can join you! Oh right, I play on console. Silly me, PC nurses will have a breeze going against me.

We can't fix you problems.
Buy it and don't use it, or suffer.
The Entity approves either way.
As if most players weren't already suffering.

I personally don't run DH and can't stand the perk either, but thats why I don't run it.
I don't even want to buy it. That's how much I resent it.

I also Really Loves M1 Killer like Dredge ( My Main ) or even Sadako
U cant even play a nice Game as twins becasue if u try to hit a Survivor as Victor they just DH in to ur face and Kicks u this Waste so many Time
Literally. I play on console and playing Victor is just... pain.

I don't want to play sweaty build Blight or Nurse just because of DH.

Alway depemds on the situation and wording. Those two comments are not really showing who of them is "in the right". There is a fine line between constructiv criticism and plain ranting.
If the original comment was along the lines of "this game is so bad and unbalanced, it's litteraly unplayable and the community is so toxic. The devs don't care about us who paid real money ... yada yada yada", then I would be on the side with the "then don't play it" one. You don't have to play a game, that you're not enjoying.
On the other side, if the op suggested changes, engaged in discussions etc., then yes. Definetly use your voice and ideas to improve the games you enjoy.
Rage doesn't change anything. Contributing creativly does.
Took me a while to find, but that was the original comment from the DBD post.
I'm pretty sure the OP comment was trying to make a harmless joke. I cracked a bit reading it, but it's probably due to the fact that I've been advocating for balance changes *cough cough* Dead Hard & Map Offerings to name a few.
EDIT: Actually, Ima just edit the thread and attach this to make it easier for everyone.
-
I got it after so many matches thanks to an AFK nurse.
-
Playing killer on console is a pain. I heard the new-gen should be running fine, but it's rough on old gen.
I love playing twins but playing Victor is PAINFUL on console lately.
-
I agree.
Its design is very unique and its whole power is different from the roster.
My favorite part about it is its idle animation and squishy sounds from the lobby. The game's squishy sounds in the menu have always been satisfying so hearing the dredge make similar noises is nice.
-
It would be a good QOL. Surprised it's not been implemented yet since it's a simple idea.
-
is 4.8 M/S 120% speed?
I'm not sure. I play a lot of M1 killers but the only issue I have is DH. It's basically a middle finger for M1 killers :(
-
If you don't already have the Curtain Call chapter, I'd take that. The one with Clown and Kate Denson.
It has an excellent survivor perk; Windows of Opportunity while the other two are decent if you can combine them in a build.
The killer perks are really good notably Pop Goes the Weasel and Bamboozle.
---------------------------------------------------
I'd also recommend the Demise of the Faithful chapter. 1 good survivor perk (Head-On) and 2 good killer perks (Infectious and Corrupt)
The Plague is a good killer IMO.
-
No.
Instead, remove Dead Hard :D
-
I wouldn't mind playing killer but it seems like EVERY DAMN SURVIVOR brings DH so it's stressful af.

True but the devs could add some utilities to circumvent this. Idk how but they could try.

A flying killer could be fun, though they must have a cooldown between takeoff and landing, otherwise this would be probably too strong. But I would love to see some of the maps from above.
Or one of my favorite monsters, thats pretty close related to the Aswang, the Penanggalan from Malaysia. Its another vampiric creature, but the kicker is thats the head detaches from the body ... with all the innards and organs floating in the air! So cool. This head and sack of intestines float around, hunt people and suck them dry. When they come back, full of blood, they are too swollen to wriggle back into their body just like that, so they will bath in vinegar in order to shrivel up a bit before they can get back. Thats why the vinegar scent will give them away during their day job, posing as a normal being of their society and why they sometimes try to mask this scent with heavy use of perfume.
One trick to expose them is to sneak into their house while they are hunting and turn the headless body on its back. This way they will re-attach the wrong way and expose them for the horrific being they are, the next day. Another way to get rid of them is by filling the body with broken glass and earthware, so that they cut open when re-entering.
All in all the Penanggalan is so evocative and interesting, but I guess that it would be a bit too gruesome for DBD.
Oh, interesting! I've never heard of the Penanggalan! Good to learn some new things!
I hope we get a new flying killer soon since that's a concept that hasn't been touched yet. As long as the devs do it right of course!

Hmmm. I don't think that's totally accurate. While running a jungle gym he can throw knives and injure you, hit by hit. Other Killers would have to be close to you to land a hit, or aim and guess very carefully like Pyramid Head. Trickster can injure you more easily, just by getting a glimpse of you, especially if he's smart with his knives. In my experience, Tricksters have done poorly more so when they mess up, not when the Survivors do.
I can agree with that and probably the reason why survivors don't like facing him because it's usually a lose-lose situation.
Either way, I've never liked the direction they went with his power. An AOE effect or something to deal with music would've been a lot cooler and original.

I honestly think he ends chases extremely quickly, especially in the open. He can just keep throwing with no penalty. With Huntress, she has to wind up and Survivors hear it as a warning, and she slows down while aiming, so Survivors are able to more easily dodge her hatchet. Her hit boxes aren't nearly as bad as they used to be, so it's even easier to dodge them now. With Plague, she throws up a lot, but she doesn't instantly damage you just because she hit you, like Huntress. And her damage takes more time to inflict than Trickster's does, and in the meantime, a Survivor can hopefully get to a pallet, vault, or wall. Same thing with dodging Slinger. It's easier to dodge him than Trickster in the open.
He will end chases quickly IF survivors are that bad. As long as the survivors are decent, they'll stick to walls as much as possible which is his biggest weakness and currently the best way to hinder him.
A good survivor will only run in the open if they know the trickster mindgamed himself or occupied with something else.
-
Head-On.
People will use it to meme which is understandable, but if you use it strategically, it can REALLY REALLY REALLY help in the long run.
The number of times I was able to get a buddy out of a sticky area thanks to a nearby locker is insane & vice versa.
I still believe it could use some buffs though.

Just to be devil's advocate, he has no slowdown or penalty for missing, so isn't he better than those other Killers?
It depends on the situation.
Killers say that he takes way too long to injure or down someone so that was what I was trying to point out.

@IlliterateGenocide said:
Wow how much time did this take you. this is very good.

RIGHT?

His design is flawed and un-original.
Why throw a million knives at a survivor when you can throw one well-shot hatchet, vomit stream, or chained bullet at them?
As a survivor, you have to use high walls and even then, he'll eventually injure/down you if he can get a knife or two with every corner.
Not fun for both sides.
