When you have Kindred and see the killer go Insidious after hooking, then watch as the other survivors fall for it every damn time instead of working the gens.
-
No.
Punctuate.
Separate your thoughts.
-
if you don't pop a certain number of gens in a reasonable amount of time, its even harder to punish campers.
So, no. your logic is completely and utterly flawed.
Slowing gen times only buffs camping.
-
the frantic desire to escape before The Trapper reaches you is just some good ol' fashioned slasher goodness.

We have color blind scratch marks, which is nice, but difficult to see scratch marks doesn't make the game unplayable. Treatment Theatre and Haddonfield make the game completely unplayable for me. My left eye's vision is blurred, and I have migraines now, and had to quit playing the game after one session, because those maps are FILLED with flashing lights. As killer, it is rough. As survivor, I just have to quit the game, because there is no way I can sit on a gen for 80 seconds with flashing lights in the room. I have been posting for years now that there needs to be an anti-epileptic mode, and that was just when there was only Haddonfield. Now that gens flash more and Lerys exists, there has to be an anti-epileptic mode to get rid of the flashing. It is outright painful and debilitating to some players, and makes some maps completely unplayable.
I do not personally have epilepsy, but the constant flashing does strain my eyes.
I actually was personally talking about this with my friend when we were in a room with an incomplete gen. The room was constantly flashing the lights and it was going from dark to uber bright and I just left to work on a different gen after that. (it was solo anyways, but still.)
They could really turn down the brightness of the flashing by a severe amount.

Jeff is simply too loud to play as. being healthy on him is like being injured on the majority of survivors
-
I just hope that Temple of Purgation gets the visual design it deserves.
-
if Trickster can exist, anything can exist.
-
would people with bad headsets even be able to know the difference stridor can make?
-
I usually wait for them to give the signal that they have found hatch...that is unless they played like a c*nt that game and screwed other people over or failed far too many skill checks and got themselves or others caught.
-
That's...the point. you're supposed to leave the hook to find survivors.
-
I find The Doctor's glowing eyes in his Rehabilitation Eyes (demented) cosmetic to be quite creepy when he's rolling towards you.
-
Deathgarden had it good: You could literally continuously Mercy someone to keep the game going, and the survivor team still knows the fact that they are utterly being crushed without the killer getting any kills.
on top of this, you couldnt slug because a runner could eventually get up if they found a health pack and you can't tunnel because the runners teleport to a different part of the map when the killer performs the equivalent of a "hook"
I could go on, but this is DBD and it's all I have left.

Huntress - Moved down to B Tier as her hatchets can be easily dodged, she's forced to reload her power and it can easily be negated by running tight loops. Lacks proper looping capabilities to be considered A Tier.
Deathslinger - Moved down to C Tier. Slow mobility and lack of gen pressure hurt him throughout the match. Addon reliant.
Demogorgon - Moved down to D Tier - Very loud, easy to move preemptively, base kit abilities are nothing special and the cooldown on his teleport hurts his gen pressure.
Bubba - Moved down to C Tier - Despite his instadown, he's very easy to loop and preemptively dropping pallets can waste a lot of his time. Low gen pressure.
Twins - Moved up to B Tier - Fast mobility, extremely good slugging game, has good survivor tracking and can prevent players from leaving the exit gate. If bugs were fixed she'd be an A or even an S Tier IMO.
Clown - Moved down to D Tier - The rework did nothing to change him. Survivors can still predrop pallets to nullify his bottles. Speed bottles are still useless.
Pig - Moved down to D Tier - Easily loopable, power is lack luster and completely useless before gens and after the final gen is completed. Has little to no gen pressure. Addons are terrible.
Ji-Woon - Moved to F Tier - Power is very weak and relies on you consistently hitting 8 consecutive shots to damage 1 health state. Losing line of sight on a survivor can negate your entire power, allowing them to recover from any hits you landed. Addons are lack luster.

Stop capping, you and I both know that the Hatchets will literally hit survivors that have moved beyond walls, survivors can even see the wood chips fly after the hatchet should have hit a wall, but the survivor will be downed on the floor wondering why hatchets are like this.

Considering how Niche Poised generally is, I dont see why not.
can we also include Distortion for point number one. It currently does not remove grunts of pain or blood, leaving the loudest survivor (Jeff Johansen, the owner of said perk) still vulnerable when near the killer.
-
Huntress literally will not care
Pyramid Head still gets free hits with pallet drops
Demo, Billy, Bubba and Blight wont get hit in their power unless the survivor times the pallet drop perfectly
Nurse is...Nurse.
Corrupt Purge Plague will hit over the pallet if you make it there
Doctor can prevent the pallet drop entirely
Blood Fury Oni will eat the pallet
Deathslinger can shoot to either force the drop or gain a hit.
you can maybe crush Victor, but im sure it wouldnt trigger Smash Hit (ironic)
and everyone is forgetting that literally half the time: the killer hits the survivor through a pallet even though they get "stunned"
-
She does not have a point
She is not an icon
She is not a legend
and she is NOT the moment.
Now come on now...
-
the concept art for The Plague and her theme looked amazing when they showed it off...then they released the map. It looked nothing like it, save for maybe the metallic decorations inside the shrine.
Maybe they didnt have the tech to pull it off at the time, and when it gets visually reworked it'll look much better?
Just me hoping, anyways.
-
this map is amazing for him, what? all the corridors are free hits and if they go through a window thats a free hit as well...wait thats like 80% of the map.
On top of this, he has a low terror radius so not only will survivors not see you coming, by the time they hear you, they wont have enough time to prepare for an escape.
-
You had to of forced DS earlier in the match, if the player goes down in an area that you can still apply pressure to, might as well eat it and ensure they cant use it later while being around to pressure a gen/ remaining survivors in the area.
Of course it's not like this is a fun thing to do and against better survivors this is more unlikely to happen
There's also mori's, rancor, Devour Hope, Blood Warden in your situation. (again, not like this is practical, but still)
-
I found the camera height to make me very uncomfortable in certain matches, and nearly losing someone because grass (and nearly everything else) is taller than the camera was very frustrating
-
I for the life of me cant tell you what I *thought* Tapp was doing in this image, but I certainly didnt think he was looking at notes on a wall.
Maybe I thought he was staring at a brick wall or something idk, would match Stake Out
-
The game was and still is designed that way. There is literally an official DBD discord with voice channels for people to team up.
Object is being reworked
Victor can be reclaimed
most people on a team just want to have fun.
Have a wonderful day, this is not an issue :)

Some wants Hag to not be able to put a trap close to a hooked survivor for example, but all Hags do this even Michi because it's a good strategy. That kind of change might be detrimental, even if survivors would be happy about it.
perhaps a trap limit near hooks, so say max 2-3. therefore she can't just place a million and secure a kill because it would take over 30 seconds to crawl past all the traps she could potentially throw down.
Nothing feels worse than crouching so slow the Hag just runs back by the time you left the aoe of the outermost trap
-
if a killer fails all their objectives, and failed to catch a singular survivor in the amount of time it takes for them to reach the gate. you lost. No killer deserves gate regression. Half the maps you can stand at a specific point and watch both gates for someone to arrive. Kill rates are already ludicrous. How free does a game need to be?

By farming you mean survivors unhooking right in front on me?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2015884#Comment_2015884
15 seconds is equivalent of 60% of generator process, it's a lot.
60%? its not even anywhere near that. the person who is on the hook isnt working on a gen. the person who is saving isn't working on a gen. If the person doesnt have Kindred multiple people could be going for the save. where is this fake number coming from?
Also, you can injure the saviour. you can also just not be near the hook. Even if they're "unhooking right in front of you" why did you let them walk up? where is your pressure? its a free hit, do something, anything.
-
@Shaped said:
The worst thing is feeling pressured because some people will suicide if they aren't unhooked immediately even if it would be better for a team to finish a gen first for example or wait for the killer to be far enough.
Running towards someone trying to kobe out of spite makes me a little bit pissed off tbh. I mean come on you aren't even close to stage 2 can't you have a little patience? You got down in 3 seconds and you act like someone else is bad for not unhooking you immediately.
So true.
You can be on a hook for 60 seconds. In that time multiple gens can pop, but some people are so eager to be removed that they just end themselves and their teams chances at victory if they arent saved milliseconds after being placed on the hook.
-
HEX's are supposed to be risky.
If you dont want to take a risk, dont take a HEX.
-
I just hope that music clip is an actual song they made, cause i wanna hear it

I like the concept of altruistic/healing perks but from what ive found in red ranks is that if you are spending time doing anything but a gen or being chased, you're probably going to lose.
Obviously this makes more of a difference when you personally know you suck at being chased, or you dont have bond/other aura perks to prevent yourself from screwing your team over. Healing and or being healed is better than dying in chase after 12 seconds
while unrealistic in your average match, a coordinated team in danger of being wiped wont take healing perks and will instead all just reset🇹🇲: go off into a far corner until everyone's healed then continue the match as normal
-
Hag. Having to crouch slow just to avoid a trapped survivor, and still having the possibility for The Hag to walk back to the hook if she places enough traps is so incredibly boring to me.
-
if its possible to do on PC, and not possible to do on console, it should be patched.
and even on top of that, the majority of people on PC are not going to be playing blight with a macro specifically for the occasion in which they can take advantage of massive turn rates on a killer who has add-ons SPECIFICALLY ABOUT TURN RATES SINCE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE LOW.
Sincerely, a person who plays Blight and does not feel like making a macro just to have an unfair one-up to remove the killers one weakness.
-
if I'm solo, my teammates are truly aggravating (there's a difference between being bad and sabotaging you for their own safety), and the killer is making the match experience dreadful, I have a strong desire to end it early.
-
Zarina. I think she truly has pure Survivor energy. She has the drive, she has the style, and she will cut up in the Entity's realm.
-
Considering they did that for The Doctor, there's no way they wouldnt do that for TT
-
now the hackers just need to make Trickster's daggers inflict actual damage.

My biggest concern is will this killer be difficult-to-unusable on console, especially the older ones. Aiming concerns aside, that many projectiles that are supposed to create visuals on-screen at the moment of impact seem like they'd be too much to do and not drop frames and look comical.
its okay, the ranged attacks have auto-aim.
-
except you cant work on a gen and perform a great skill check while going for a save or are on a hook or are being chased. things that happen in every match. and when they get a hook, sure you got an extra 1%, but then Pop just set you back 25%.
the perk is absolute garbage.
-
if beefcake misses his ranged attack, its like resetting a chase. This is not the issue we need to be tackling.
-
and already one pallets been used, leaving just one there and another section of the map completely barren.
-
how small are people's ego's that they cry and scream if someone attempts an escape at no detriment to the team. People need to grow up.
If you dont save the person on the hook you have ruined the game for all 4 survivors in the match just because you feel the need to be petty.
-
there's visual nuances with each tier. the static shifts faster with tier, but most people dont have the time to look at the UI for 10 seconds to distinguish a survivors tier when there's 3 other survivors in the game that are also maddened, making the whole thing a mess.
-
Oh just wait until you face a tier worth talking about

1. You now receive a hex notification when your aura is revealed at a dull totem via Undying
2. You get the Exposed sound effect and notification when you unhook a survivor and the killer's Devour Hope has enough tokens
Did I miss these somewhere? These are significant changes.
- Good, having AOE aura reading around dull totems is dumb, and will get people to cleanse more if they're paying attention.
- Really? im gonna miss me and my friends gasping loudly when the surprise Exposure happens.
-
thats amazing, the hand outta nowhere.
-
they wouldnt put teasers for licensed killers on fog whisperers accounts, thats very risky and could destroy any chances of getting another license in the future. Also, the fact that there is not a single teaser with any remote reference to anything that could be licensed seals the deal on being Original.
-
OG killers are free killers. I would never complain. Not like there's very many important licenses remaining without being B-sides or niche.
-
This is good.
-
Oh no! i hit the survivor with borrowed time...NOT ANYMORE!
-
Clowns make me uncomfortable but when I saw that the clown is fat and is a coughing mess I could not take him seriously. Throwing purple gas isnt scary either, the premise of The Clown is creepy especially considering the lore but that does not translate into the gameplay to give any sort of fear.
