can confirm, was unable to break this wall. could've prevented many a hassle if I could have broken it.
-
Spirit also has an actual passive, she phases while moving, and even when you dont move survivors get tricked
-
that's...a bad thing for you? Are you sure you don't mean the Terror Radius? I have not played a survivor match yet, so I don't know.

does that mean that the match needs to be 5-6 minutes long with them constantly doing gens with nearly no one on death hook at the end?
Against a trapper? or any kinda weak killer?
No, they are playing purely to win regardless of how fair or fun it is.
edit: it's fine to try to win but using literally everything at your disposal to do so when it REALLY isn't necessary is toxic to me.
Considering a losing killer is going to probably face camp at the end due to pure rage, all's fair in love and war.

If i see a swf using full meta and gen rushing i would consider that toxic, that isn't a fun game to play and im assuming it probably wasn't very fun for them either. Same thing with killer who tunnel and camp to kill one guy early as that is forcing them to depip and isn't fun at all for anyone other than the killer if they are into that.
As for long chases no it isn't toxic to last that long the killer needs to know if they should cut the chase if the survivor is good and reaches tiles that connect to each other, i also don't think it's that toxic to camp that survivor either as they have accepted the loss to kill the one that they were not good enough to get plus that survivor probably safety pipped.
For tunneling if the killer found the same survivor a minute or so after that isn't tunneling and the killer at least in high ranks can't let them go as they need pressure but if they ignored other survivors for that person I would categorize that as trying to get an early kill.
other people can disagree with me that's fine we all have our own thoughts on what is what in this game.
or maybe the SWF team just doesnt want to die, and doing gens is almost always the smartest idea. Don't take a teams actions as something personal.
-
Hex: Undying + Crowd Control = better not get caught cleansing.
-
Obviously it sucks to get caught, but to be the best player you should be running around as much as you possibly can. You can spend the first part looking around for totems while you're avoiding detection, but once the killer gets their ball rolling, you and your team need to be swift to punish them during the chase.
The issue with this concept, is it ruins your ability to use Sprint Burst on command. The only time you'd be able to use SB like this, is after it cools down when you're on a gen, which can be the most useful time to have it (assuming its not on Cooldown).
Realistically, as long as you aren't idling when someone is being chased, you're doing better than most survivors out there.

It's the only good looking one besides Adam's. Everyone else looks dusty.

Son? Who tf is that?
Legion I'll give you but they still killed someone.
Deathslinger is literally driven by revenger and killing
Ji-Woon is a literal mass murderer borderline insane who wants everyone to recognise his art
How are they not killers,?
they were referencing The Twins, and they weren't saying that they weren't killers. Just that killing people doesn't inherently make you menacing or scary, and therefore don't really fit in this game (or horror in general)
-
it's enough for Trapper, Hag, Freddy and Demo to place traps.
Perhaps Pig's traps at 4 gens gain extra lethality due to the survivor having to worry about taking the trap off and then needing to completely open a gate with no survivors having the gate 99'd for them.
Then you have endgame perk syngery, if you're going All-Out for the All-Kill chapter.
Otherwise, I think the perk is just gonna be awkward and relatively hard to make use out of it.
-
It's boring whether you are the downed survivor, or the one having to pick them up.
I don't feel "pressured" or that the killer is "doing their job", I'm just completely uninterested in the match.
In a game where no survivor is a buffoon, usually, slugging isn't horrible in its entirety, but the average solo match half the people are just crawling everywhere with no recovery, or the people trying to pick them up are in chase and snowball the already annoying situation.
I'll say this every time, it's the equivalent of the survivors being able to disarm the killer and slow them. the killer would just look around as gens pop and totems are cleansed, the same way a survivor sees the killer perform all these actions while the survivor is on the ground just...waiting.
The killer isn't being a slasher icon, or a scary/horrific being, it's just lame. plain and simple.
If you're okay with being lame, that's cool I guess. I suppose creating lame gameplay is a requirement sometimes, but that doesn't take away the lame from the game.
-
I'd rather say gg than to be one of those f*ckers that berate the survivor/killer for things beyond their control and have nothing to do with the match (sexuality, race, other bigoted bullsh*t)
If a match truly went that bad on the opposing end I'd probably try to console them and tell them what went wrong in their gameplay interactions with me (which can be perceived as an insult, but at that point that's on them)
-
If i saw Twins more than twice in a day, i'd literally just stop playing DBD until tomorrow, the most unfun experience possible combined with no BP gain because of Victor.
-
Even if all three survivors who weren't hooked run it, it's a 9% gain with Fast Track, vs a 25% loss with Pop Goes the Weasel, or just nullified via Oppression if they miss.
Then again, I entirely misjudged the power of Mettle of Man when it first released, so we're just going to have to find out.
-
A friend that always quits games real quick convinced me to buy it so i could play with them. They quit and now I'm stuck here for almost 3 years now.
I
-
I use it on Ghostface to time his stealth so i can approach before the survivors can react (obviously Spine Chill is still a factor)
-
killer can go fully invisible and have aura reading of any survivor. Killer can instantly teleport to a survivor with no skill required.
Survivor can go ultra toxic with their items, run to the killer and stun them multiple times, and have chase breakers that instantly stop a chase in their tracks (very assassin's creed multiplayer, very much not good for this genre)
EDIT: The logo for Home Sweet Home, looks more like its saying FISH.
-
Usually i alt-tab as killer because im so used to survivor queue times.
When I am paying attention, I pay notice to the outfits the survivors are wearing.
its hard to judge licensed characters, but typically 'toxic' has a look to it. They know they want to be toxic so much, they want to show off it as well. It's so in-your-face that when you're in the match they want you to know that they are trying to make your game miserable, therefore I usually dip to avoid the inevitable end-game chat confrontation regardless of the outcome of the match. (of course its so satisfying when the toxic survivor fails [or even better, dc's])

League of Legends, an extremely popular game used to have 'Ryze' and 'Katarina', 2 of over 100 character's, as their poster children.
What happened? their personalities were bland and ultimately not as interesting as other characters whom other people can relate to more.
So they changed the poster children to someone else.
Trapper is incredibly boring, he is a tall dude with spikes on his shoulder and a mask on. Meanwhile there are literal demons on the hunting grounds...get the picture?
They could change it to someone more relevant or threatening, if they cared to do so.
-
OP is like: why is my extremely powerful perk notified when its in play? its shouldn't be notified when its in play! it should only be notified when its GONE...
w h a t ? ? ? ? ?

Ah, not unlike running Stridor that clearly gives away where a survivor is. Or not unlike running Predator in the current situation that essentially draws a straight line to the survivor.
Sloppy Butcher is a bit of a moot point.
except sloppy also reduces healing speed, so no, its not a moot point. it would make an op killer require this perk and make her even better. Stridor and Predator dont extend the game like sloppy does or prevent the survivors from being able to heal, which would be the one weakness of Spirit using blood to track with.

If Jason Voorhees' power doesn't involve walking through pallets and breakable walls like they're not even there, then it's not Jason Voorhees
and that's exactly why he's the worst fit for a killer in DBD, every aspect of him in F13 is only balanced by the fact that you can actively stun him throughout the match, have people beat him up to drop you, kill him, and have a player come back with a damn gun. pallets are not anything like the knives, flashlights are not like the weapons, you cant kill the killer, and players don't come back with a force to be reckoned with.
-
Deathgarden tried that, and it just made you feel like crap because some runners had better passives (for you), on top of having the same actives as other runners. So while you thought X was cool or related to them, because Y has the powers and passives you prefer you suck it up and play Y, even though you want to be X so bad.
-
wait another year, im sure it'll be buffed by then.
-
Then she runs Sloppy Butcher and the survivor now has a clear, easily trackable path that drips so frequently the survivor might as well have red paint on their feet

You can't actually know the killer's ping because you can't see it. Stop projecting.
its not projecting when their ping is 42. that's a pretty low number, especially in DBD. so if dude is walking past the window and still gets hit, its not from the survivors end that things went awry.
-
broken Hex:Undying release. Uncleanable totem locations. yeah, thats a whole recipe for disaster. If we aren't judging it from the lack of balance and overlooked game breaking bugs, sure. the concept of Descend Beyond was great, best in a long while.
Still, didnt come with a map and wasn't the Autohaven rework done at the same time? its still a barren wasteland to this day.

One of two, removing one is the end of you.

This happened to me today, with the teammate being a Claudette. could be the same person ruining everyone's experiences.

they wanted me dead, im not going to pick someone up who is then going to just get me killed. it's like giving a serial killer their weapons back after having them taken away

They need to rework the Devout Emblem to count hooks instead of just kills/DC/Sacrifice with a bonus for interchanging survivors to discourage camping/tunneling.
honestly, love the sound of that
-
Crossplay on? console killers dont swing like PC killers do, despite this console survivors still cower in fear of their console killer overlords.
Crossplay off? everyone's out to kill, even the survivors. they'll kill you too, stay the heck away from them.

I literally think 90% of the maps are too bright. I dont know if I accidentally messed with some settings, but it literally feels like its noon in the majority of the maps.

Underground Catacombs would be cool

Hopefully obsession becomes base into the game now to make tunneling occur less then it will in the following days to come.
its rather sad that i play different as both survivor and killer if i see no obsession. That's how you know something's up.
-
there were also optimization issues that would make the game unplayable on console and low end PC's, im sure that probably is why. the game already ran like sh*t on PS4, XBONE, this chapter wouldve made those consoles implode.
-
no chase perks, m1 killer.
If Ghostface properly stalked the person in this video the chase would have ended immediately. What are you trying to prove here? that ghostface's without a brain suck? indeed they do.
-
would be nice if the whispering meant something though, like: an infected survivor is within your Terror Radius.
-
if you're playing Bill and dont have BT your whole life is a lie.
-
you're complaining about DH and you're playing The Wraith. I see the problem here, and its not Dead Hard.
It's like complaining about your Ice Cream melting on a summer's day. What else are you expecting here, for Wraith to have a ranged attack? a blink? a lunge ability? no, you have stealth. if you can't use stealth to down the survivors then improve on that or choose a different killer.
-
not the best, but Ghostace would be usable.

Are we gonna be here...all day?
-
I saw this happen a few days ago, a laurie had this combo and repeatedly attempted to deny the killer hooks and protect teammates.
Eventually the killer got so pissed off, they laid Laurie on the floor when they finally got downed, and chased after me. Meanwhile she was crawling to the pallet waiting to be picked up and when she did? BOOM. slammed.
-
this is like the rock climbing in yamaoka except there's literally nothing you can do
-
if killers are too dumb to use their powers that literally counter running in a straight line (all the ranged killers, lunge killers, mobility killers, and potentially even the trap killers if they run into a trap)...then that's on them.
Dumbest thing killers have come to say since the game's inception.
Oh man, the run away button is being used, how dare survivors run in the opposite direction of the killer. I guess they'll run into them now to appease their broken spirits.

Let me get to second hook at the start of the match? Only one gen done? No thanks. I don’t want to be in the match anymore anyway. I would be dead before I could help even if she took me off hook.
it was going to be 3 gens done and a fourth one well underway if you cared to think about anyone other than yourself. if you managed to escape the killers desire to murder you, you can be on the fifth one and guess what? everyone lives.

I like PatchNotesDivider . PNG
-
- People have challenges to do
- People have healing perks
- People want Altruism
- Some people have aura perks and want you to sit still and heal before you get yourself and others killed.
