I don’t see any other reason you would de-pip besides camping unless you’re really that bad at the game. With 2 sacrifices, you would’ve at least safety pipped...
You can definitely depip with 2 kills. You can even only blackpip with 4 kills and you can pip without any kill, yes the emblem system is weird

What was it about suggesting certain things being bad again? Just as I stated in another thread several other regions have huge imbalances on one side or the other. so when the heavily killer sided regions can't get a queue they pop to survivor side and vice versa. It'll be no different here on PC side, when I'm killer and can't get a lobby I swap and same when survivor.
The game isnt region locked anymore, just fyi

Id rather keep them all at 50 and have every perk until they make it more worth my time to start ALL over. anyone else? Its literally the point of prestige to show off. It is not mandatory and that shouldnt change.
If you dont wanna grind, well then DONT prestige?
yes but it's also a feature in the game that takes a massive amount of time and i suggest a bigger reward
You dont understand, its supposed to be a feature to show off, it is supposed to take massive amount of time without any big reward

It's funny to me that people argue about who's more OP (survivors or killers) when the Devs have the stats. Like really ppl 'come on you think they don't know what's going on in their game? 🙄Stats? Give me a thing to prove and I will hand you a statistic showing that thing.
The official tournament was the best sign how unbalanced the game truely is because this happens when experienced players actually try hard.

But it cant be real that DCs happen like every 2nd game.
DBD should simply introduce a queue punishment for DCs like EVERY other competitive game has. 5 min for first DC, 15 second etc etc. Its really not that hard
I wouldn't mind a DC punishment that gets more severe every time you DC. However I play on console a lot and I often get kicked out of DbD from the loading screen... Not sure if this is a glitch but how would the system detect if it's actually not your fault for the DC?
Doesnt matter, you should be fine dealing with a 5 min queue if you get kicked out of the game. It doesnt happen too often. The real problem are the ragequits

When high rank survivors play SWF woth low ranks, they are able to bully low rank killers.
Thats been the case for ages now and I dont think devs gonna change that, the game sells really well as bullying sim -

not_Queen said:We ban for disconnects
We do not ban systematically if you leave only one game, we ban players that leave more than a % of their games over a certain period of time. We are aware disconnecting is a problem and can ruin the game experience. Repeating offenders are getting increased bans.
We have automated bans for hacks and cheats
We always have people working on new detection tools.
We have a team reviewing in-game reports, chat logs and investigating hacks / cheats
We have enough information to make a decision and investigate cases of hacks and cheats as well as harrassment and greifing. Video evidence isn't necessary for every case but can make the investigation faster when we can access it. We are also working on a feature that will allow the players to give more evidence, if they want, through the in-game report.

I'm a killer main myself, but encouraging new players to camp hooks is a surefire way to turn off any potential newcomers from playing survivor.
Not sure if you realized, but camping isn't a bad thing.
And in fact, bailing the hook is one of the strongest strategies because this way the survivors come to you and you don't have to follow them running in circles just to be stunned by a palletExperienced survivors make a u-turn and do all of the gens while you think they are still close and whine in post lobby about gen rushing.
We are talking about beginner tipps here, camping is the strongest tactic on those ranks if you ask me.
Also even experienced SWF are most of the time overaltruistic and try to save their discord buddy even if you stand a few meters awayBut of course in high ranks you cant simply camp all the time, you have to use it as a mindgame and you need to know when to stop because you waste too much time

A killer trying to do his job and please the entity is toxic.
Sad indeed
... A Survivor try to Help his Teammates (Doing his Job) with Flashlight, Bodyblock, sabo hooks... and doing hes job with not being caught : 360s, Loop and DS...
Its the same here dude -_-
I cant see how tbagging and flashligth clicking helps the team, but ok
You think T-bag and Flashlight klicking is Toxic? #########? It does not do ANYTHING to you as a Killer or your Gameplay. Basicly he is waisting his Time doing nothing and waisting his Flash-Battery... and if T-bagging or Flash-clicking makes you Angry or sad...and maybe forces you to Tunnel and Camp... thats your Problem. But Basicly is he just standing still (T-bagging) or waisting his Item... PLUS he is waisting time wich he could spend on a Gen.
Think about what actually happen b4 crying "QQ Toxic "
Exactly it doesnt do anything to the gameplay, survivors do it SOLELY to anoy the killer. Thats literally the definition of toxicity.
However calling legit ways how to play the game like tunnel, camp and genrush toxic is just ridiculous

So, I know that most forms of body blocking that don't break the game (trapping survivors in a permenant way, etc) aren't heavily frowned on, and are fine generally...but survivors body blocking the hook is incredibly frustrating. As I see it,most annoying things in this game has a perk counter. Sabo squad? Run hangsman's trick. Keep getting hit by pallets? Get the stun reducing perk. You get the idea.I think that survivors body blocking the hook has an easy fix with a readjustment of the agitation perk. Add an effect that reads similar to "when approaching a hook while carrying a survivor, when you are within 6/8/10 meters, your anticipation heightens and attacks gain greater power, applying the exposed status to any survivors within that range"
This would buff a weaker perk and allow killers to counter as survivor action they dislike, if they choose to take the perk. Thoughts?
You dont know that you verse a sabo squad until its too late. Thus, this strategy cant be countered with a perk. Its not a solution making perks mandatory to fix flawed mechanics in the game, there are only 4 perk slots
Simply allow the killer to hook from all angles, survivors got their all angle-unhook ages ago, only killers still have to go through this ######### .....

This was just the first time they actually showed us what they plan to do. Before it was just "we are looking into ways to change bloodlust".
If you people really think review bombs did anything in just FEW WEEKS you have no clue how game dev works.
Its really not hard to change a few numbers, even an intern can do that if you explain him where he finds those numbers.
They talked about changing bloodlust AFTER the maps have been reworked and at the same time killers were supposed to get bloodlust FASTER than now. -

“Survivors shouldnt feel safe in front of the killer” - devs(the required disclaimer: ive got 1800hrs and been rank1 on both sides at the end of the season dozens of times)
knowing that looping is a problem, why are we nerfing bloodlust?
Bloodlust vs a skilled survivor is already nearly useless, since after looping him for long enough to get enough bloodlust to catch me, i can just drop the pallet and force em to lose bloodlust when he breaks it, then its off to the next pallet.
what seems extremely obvious to me, a survivor main, is that survivors raged and review bombed after the last patch, and the devs solution was to cave to one of the items on the survivor main checklist on the road to starting the match with the gates open. press 3 to twerk at the exit gate.
the point of bloodlust, was that the devs say the map assets need to be fixed to prevent looping, yet i see no map fixes in the notes, just a nerf that will cause even more “being safe in front of the killer.”
This is what happens when devs arrogantly assume that they know the gameplay better than the players, and make decisions based on their own rank 15ish experience. The obvious solution is to have a small group of the most experienced players (not streamers), on both sides, review your potential decisions. The near universal opinion of your veteran players, was that the last patch was the first step in the right direction in a long time... only for you to then immediately sabotage yourselves by caving to a tiny 500ish player review bomb. Well, since it worked, next time they will bomb you much harder.
Just let the devs hand out the free win to survivors and watch from the backseat how they panic once queue time rises because killers abandon the game.

First I will admit, this is a dumb idea that trolls can use to screw over teammates. It's very situational, but could help a teammate and cost the killer.
Description: "You know when your beat, but you don't want to end up sacrificed to the entity. So you make the hard decision to take yourself out." When you're in the dying state, accelerate the rate you bleed out to die faster.
The killer doesn't get the points when survivors bleed out. Plus if it's just you and 1 more survivor, you could use this perk to help them make a hatch escape if it's available. What are your thoughts with this idea?
Obviously the killer has to get the points if you decide to suicide in dying state.
Basically your perk idea is covered by simply DCing. Dcing does everything you suggest with this idea already. Since devs dont care about DCing and dont punish it, I dont see a reason why we need such a perk -

You can hack for several months before they do anything (maybe even more, dont follow this stuff anymore)
Griefing and exploiting wont get you banned either, you literally have to stream it live such that they do sth about it aftre a year -
Just let them do that. I want enough killers stop playing killer and switch to survivor/other games such taht the devs realize what happens when they treat killers as 2nd class players.
Monster hunter came out a few days ago btw

I hope they dont do that, it wastes too much time and time management is all what the game is about.
Best example is pigs ambush, if you crouch too much you lose the game, not even speaking of "camping" in a locker.... -
It will be severly nerfed.
The new bloodlust 3 will be as fast as current bloodlust 2.
This turns tons of unsafe pallets at current BL3 to safe pallets with the new BL3 -

Its not really fair for survivors when the killer just sits by the hook and waits for u to die. I suggest a penalty for the killer or he gets teleported after hookin a survivor so they cant have the chance to babysit, or even the killer loses if he waits to long around said hook! Please tell me im not the only one getting over (excuse my language) pussy ass killers? You should probably switch the game if you cant control your rage.

same for survivor btw, its way too easy to pip unless you genrush. If you arent careful and escape too fast, then you will only blackpip. (######### is this design?)Sure I understand that the game is balanced around rank 20 where no genrush happens, but come on.... its not that hard to pull off.

To me its is a clutch perk because if the killer was bad and could only hit a survivor once then they get a chance to get a survivor, so yea its a clutch perk
Theoretically I agree. However gerush happens not because the killer is bad, it happens because survivor decide to do it.
The only way they can nerf supposedly "gen rush" is by lowering the progress you get from skillchecks or increase the time it takes abit
and survivor decide to do it because what else are they going to do while one of them is getting chased just stand still no they are going to their objective which is to do gens
Ages ago they talked about secondary objectives / changing how gens work, but nothing happened so far. Guess devs are afraid to manipulate at a running money-machine.
Just increasing the time each gen takes by X might fix it temporarily, but I believe we do need more stuff when it comes to repairing gens, find parts to fix them, give counterplay for the killer etc etc.
Nothing is more frustrating then being looped by a competent survivors while others still just hold M1 and gens pop left and right while you break through the pallet jungle.

Just by playing a few times you can easily fill the whole bar, there is no skill invovled in that.

I'm not entirely sure if it's just a cosmetic thing but I can definitely feel like his weapon range is a bit shorter than conventional killers. Does anyone else feel this problem?Doc has the normal killer range, but the real problem is that shocking doesnt work against the competent survivors anymore, they will still loop you. Against those steams madness is just somethign they have to snap out and you earned very little time by puting them into that state.

krick said:from reading the forums a lot of people thinks the game is unbalanced, going in favor off either side depending on view but most agree on it being in favor of swf, and some of the killers being to weak.
might be easier to balance the game around 2 kills 2 escapes if the stats are easier to read for the devs,
so instead of giving survivors 2 times their can be unhooked, change it to second hook is death.
the second hook on death should only take effect if 15 seconds have already passed since the first hook, to not encourage patrolling to much, and give killers incentive to go for someone else.
off course some people will just wait it out, after downing the unhooked survivor and then hook, but camping can never be completely balanced unless people died on first hook.
will make it less stressful for killers instead of survivors having up to 12+ lives,
shouldn't really effect the low ranks to much either, their either bum rush the hook unhooking within the killers sight, or saves would hardly happen.
the timer could always be adjusted and it shouldn't interfere with survivors reaching stage 2 on first hook.
Step 1 Prestige killer to P3.
Step 2 Acquire Mass Ebony Memento Moris
Step 3 ProfitMoris are way too rare. You cant rely on them for your gameplan

Such a rate can always be achieved by hard camping the first guy and NOED, but I really dont think thats the way to go.Killers are supposed to feel powerful and scare the survivors
I feel 3 kills and 1 escape is definitely to low a survival rate, would just promote to much hatch camping or survivors bum rushing hooks because their pretty guarantee to die, who really knows what % sacrifice the devs are trying to balance the game around now, the 2 kills 2 escapes balance was mentioned ages ago.
I wouldn't really mind killers going up to around 60% sacrifice rates, if more things was implemented to counter camping.

Of course baby salty survivor mains would cry if this would happen, but it would be a good balance! maybe give BT as a default perk with survivors and 2nd hook is death! It would make survivors think about saves, about their gameplay etc...
By the same token killers should not be entitled to sacrifices.
I do like the BT being default WITH 2 hook kill though. Good idea!In a horror game like this it should be a rarity that you escape the powerful killer. At least that was what I expected, I was pleased in the first phase of the game in low rank, but sadly the game turns around quite quickly once you understand how much power survivors have.

To me its is a clutch perk because if the killer was bad and could only hit a survivor once then they get a chance to get a survivor, so yea its a clutch perkTheoretically I agree. However gerush happens not because the killer is bad, it happens because survivor decide to do it.
