I didn't do anything to the killer. I struggled and he downed me next to a hook. What was I suppose to do DC? Where's the logic

I would agree with you if there wasn't a hook but he downed me in front of a hook so again what was the point?

Well there you go. If you keep going to an area where the nearest hook is far away, and you're struggling and about to wiggle off, the killer's gonna stop bothering.

Second was a 3 man spawn inside badham. Dwight went outside and got frenzied quickly and despite our efforts by going different directions, me and the other survivor were downstairs on that gen at the frenzy start so we quickly made a 3 count. 4th survivor was far away but the not so clever Dwight finished his mend right outside. Proceeds to dc after completing the chain. That legion farmed with us for a bit and let us get our cosmetics done before killing us. What a nice homicidal maniac that Frankie was!

I actually hate those chars because players only pick them for an advantage- especially switching to said chars when they’re losing. Same goes for perks. Funny enough, the rare times I played killer before the nerfs, those perks never really bothered me. I rarely tunneled so DH was ineffective against me, and I would always bait out DH. I actually have a harder time baiting out this new DH because so few ppl use it now, I keep forgetting to wait it out.

In the end, I died... inside, when the bunny Feng blocked me at the doorway after Ada saved last second. 😒😭
I feel your pain. In one of my matches today I hook swapped myself for a teammate since I hadn't been hooked and they popped the last gen and just left me. Good times. Then I had a match where a Bill dropped pallet in front of me and blocked me and the killer downed me. Needless to say I went through the whole process.

I know right. It angered me because it made it seem like I was purposely losing when I wasn't. I let my team down. Makes no damn sense. It's a Sony licensed charger port for 2 controllers and yet 1/2 the time it seems like it doesn't want to work.

Yes, fortunately. All the important nodes crossover with an either role challenge, if I recall correctly. The only exception is that you have to play one survivor game to finish 2 generators.
Oh I did that one. It's the stun one I'm stuck on.

I have been using blast mine and flashbang. The killers I have gone up against aren't falling for any of it. Every match I have been in the killers not destroying gens.

Yes I know some will say it was a cake walk for them but it's not as easy for some of us.

Now I'm getting confused. 3 different people are saying what you need to do and that's confusing. So you do need the energy from the killer or you don't? Some are saying they get it when they don't have the energy. Either way BHVR rushed this event. Some of these challenges are hard.

These games sometimes drag out for like 20 minutes since without aura reading perks its very hard to find these survivors. As far as the game itself, I love it so much. Its a wonderfully comedic Dating Sim (a la Hatoful Boyfriend like Jocelynbee mentioned), it's supposed to be something completely silly and doesn't take itself seriously (and the writing is great, actually laughed out loud a few times when playing it!)

I'm always unhooking people and trading. Problem is I rarely get help. This event is causing survivors to not help teammates because they want their points. They want to put it I to the rifts before they unhook because they know if they get hit they lose those points. That's why I said if they remove the stealing aspect people would be more willing to help. With that said I'm sick of helping people only to be screwed over.

When Legion uses their power, (Feral Frenzy) and successfully hits a Survivor, they gain Killer Instinct on every other Survivor within their Terror Radius not suffering from Deep Wounds. Killer Instinct reveals the location of Survivors, so when paired with being able to easily get a Survivor injured it makes it very difficult to hide against Legion and isnt worth doing more often than not.

On my console I have had the game error out on me 4 times these last 2 days. So it can't just be a PC issue.

No idea but as a solo survivor I hate being in groups with SWFs. Majority of the time they help each other out while letting you rot.

I'm fine with medkits, they just need to adress the healing speed, idk why you are implying med kits will get removed, I didn't ask for that in this post I'm just wondering how popular med kits are these days. Imo self care nerf was completely unnecessary and doesn't even make sense since med kits are way stronger than self care.

If I notice another survivor by the hook I'll try my best to get the killer to chase me away from the hook so my mate can do a hook save. I don't understand why people pull people off in front of the killer. When I see this done it usually gets the hooked survivor hit down again while the unhooked leaves unscathed unless said mate has BT.

Just started using this perk today. It's really become useful. Now I don't accidentally run the killer to my mates.

I seen play of it and it looks neat. Funny but neat. Figured it's a way to do something else dbd related that is funny not frustrating lol. Only for a break though.

I like Trapper. Given the samation episodes make him seem dumb but if they really buffed Trapper omg he would be a beast. I'd be scared to go against him for fear of stepping in a trap over and over. Trust me BHVR he needs more buffs.

As a survivor main I agree with this 100%. I have played Trapper and I feel bad for him cause he just doesn't cut it no pun intended. Unless he has an add on he gets what 3 traps to start with? At least huntress gets 5 axes to start with. #TrapperShouldBeBuffed

this is exactly why I personally do not attack survivors at rifts and stop to wait. playing survivor during this event just sucks, too much selfishness.
See the killers I have gone against hit me as soon as I try to inject my points into the rift. So I don't get to deposit them. Those of you who have gotten lucky to have a killer that allows you to be thankful. Like I said before please just let me deposit my points then you can hook me and kill me whatever I don't care just let me have my points 🥺

What's worse is when a fellow teammate blocks you. I was doing gens and got hit. I ran to a safe spot to heal and next I know my fellow teammate pointed me out to the killer in the corner and he knocked me down only for said teammate to tbag me. It was uncalled for since I was contributing and did nothing to anyone. Sometimes survivors make the best killers.

Jeepers creepers with Derry and Trish being survivors. And again please add a amusement park map to replace the one we lost due to licensing issues. I'm getting tired of Coldwind and Crotus Penn Asylum

People are forgetting some people bring med kits because their teammates refuse to heal people. You want survivors to stay injured all the time so you can one shot them? That's what taking away the med kit will do. Why should I not be able to heal because my team refuses to heal. They already nerfed self care don't take away the med kits.
Why must everyone on both sides complain about add ons or perks. I'm beginning to think some forum posters are right. Nothing BHVR does will satisfy both sides. With that said I see less heals during this event then when there wasn't an event.

I think it's because the way the event is designed. It kind of encourages BM on some stuff. Don't get me wrong it's a unique event but what's killing it is both sides lose points when either hitting and hooking survivors and stunning the killer with pallets. If they took away the theft aspect it would in my opinion make the game less sweaty on both sides. I could be wrong but that's what I think.

I have seen from Killers:
Slapping people continuously on the hook, blocking rifts, slugging and camping even more.
Survivors:
Not helping people on hooks, not healing people, letting people either get to 2nd phase or complete phase and dead.
Both sides are bad during this event.

It's not just survivors I have seen a lot of BM on killer side to. Me I don't BM the killer cause I hate it when I do occasionally play killer. This event has brought out the worse in people.

I play from 9am PST to almost midnight with a couple breaks like dinner etc. I have a love hate relationship with this game.
