It's happened to me three times in a row now on PS4. I boot up killer, play normally and then I get frozen in place, usually while using an ability like Corrupt Purge or grabbing someone, and all players freeze for about a minute with all music still playing before being booted back to the menu.
It seems like console DBD is now actually, genuinely unplayable.
Yep happened to me 3x today already. I also play on PS4

I personally dont get bad experiences when one is in use so maybe you are really unlucky
I do have bad luck quite frequently lol. I have just given up on using my double exp offerings lol.

That's just random bad luck. ######### killer I would be grateful myself not saying you wouldn't be dead first or anything. Also camping does not get you more points so you just get bot killers.
Okay so what about making it hidden when offerings are showed? And what are Bot killers sorry some lingo i do not understand.

I'm not main surv = I don''t have a team and I don't play a mode that doesn't reward me with BP or Exp for the lvl.
I also keep playing on the same map several times in a row. 3 days ago, I played 11 times in a row in Autohaven ... really boring day.

I have this problem with the stupid wheat map. I believe its Coldwind.

What's wrong with keys?
Statistically it's been said they have a very small success rate. Tiny.
A lot of effort to make them work. Must live, do enough objectives and actually find hatch.
I hardly used keys because it's rare for the hatch to spawn in a typical match and you spend so much time looking for it you can do a gen. Keys are not as common as killer mains make it out to be.
I rarely see survivors bring keys because they know its an automatic death wish. When a killer sees a survivor with the key they will undoubtedly camp that person to death. Way I see it keys are useless because you will end up dead anyways.

Many of the bugs that have been fixed were found during the PTB, which means that work on these issues started a few weeks ago. That said, not all bugs are equal or even worked on by the same people! The team is still working hard on delivering a fix for these known issues ASAP.
Well instead of having PTB only on computers then why not add it onto consoles as well since a lot of issues happen when it comes to consoles? You would get more bug reports and it would show the difference between what console users experience compared to PC?

I would rather face Sprint boosts, etc. any other exhaustion perk anytime 24/7 rather than this. I see it every single game on at least 2 survivors (usualy 3+) and I am sick of it. The ammout of time I outplay someone on a loop or they made a mistake and just press E to say "haha no" is ridicilous.
I am not saying 100% nerf it but I just want to express it so annoying and "unfair" perk that sets your good play outcome to 0. Yes, it is useless when they are in the open, but other than that, it is extremely powerfull.
"Oh but latency makes it bad", yea? Then why I see it every single game on every single survivor?
I just wanted to express that I am sick of this perk and it is frustraiting and super-unfun to go againts.
For those of us who only play DBD on console can you please explain what the keys you push do. I am completely lost on what people are talking about like holding M1 etc

My very first match was against a doc in Lerys it is what started me down a path of hate for doctors. Just minding my own business walking through the halls thinking where the hellare them gens when I hear a terror radius I got so scared I started running and ran into him he then starts zapping me constantly the damn lights the noise the headache luckily being my first ever match I dead in a flash but man I hate doctors because of that guy.
Too funny 😂😂😂 you were traumatized. I felt the same way when I faced wraith. I am still paranoid when doing a gen.

God damn it this is so annoying
I can't play a match with the stupid charm without everyone trying to farm with me. Like, farming is the most boring thing you could possibly do in this game. I just want to have a normal match for Christs sake!
I've had to stop wearing it, and dodge lobbies when people have it just to have fun games.
For the people who are doing this, I get that you're trying to be supportive, but no one is wearing this to farm. No one is wearing this as a free escape card. Just play normally!
Sorry about the angry post but this is frustrating.
I must have missed the event cause I do not own the charm.

Surely it would have a mechanic equal to Pyramid-Head, it could catch survivors on hooks, on the other hand Jeepers Creepers do not think it happens due to the reasons of the director of the game against the creator of the film.
Had no idea the creator hated the director. Interesting.
-
My vote is for Pinhead from Hellraiser. Could you imagine his ability being hooks that come out of the ground and keep you there for 10 seconds. Love Doug Bradley. Survivor being Kirsty.
However my husband thinks the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers would be awesome. Survivors would be Trisha and Derry.
-
Well this match royally sucked. I only showed the icons so that the names wouldn't be shown since I do not know how to take out peoples names.
I was last survivor too. Only got 5k BP.

I don't do that sort of thing myself, but I always just assumed, when I first started playing the game, that we were supposed to play in character, so it didn't bother me much when it happened to me. Have you seen some of the movies these killers were based on? They would absolutely do something like that.
Honestly, I was shocked - SHOCKED - the first time a killer gave me the hatch. It just didn't compute. Why the hell would Ghostface do that? Ghostface wants to kill everyone. Ghostface is an #########.
Now I understand that most people who play it aren't too immersed in the horror movie aspects of it, but I still don't take it personally at this point, because I understand that some killers may still see themselves as trying to create the authentic horror movie experience.
Now, it does piss me off a little when you've got three masked Neas T-bagging you and clicking their flashlights at you while you're on the hook instead of rescuing you, but the last time that happened, they walked into a bunch of beartraps in front of me once the terror radius popped up and got hooked themselves. Instant karma, hahahaha.
I don't like when survivors are toxic to killers either. It goes both ways. All toxicity does is creates more toxicity. My point is i would rather be put on a hook so I can start another match not sit there and just wait for the time to run out. Its a win win. Get me on the hook and I die you get the kill and I can start a new match.
-
@Edgars_Raven said:
The only thing a killer can do that i see as legit toxic is slugging all 4 survivors and letting them bleed out on purpose.
Survivors just the messages i get.
Other than that its all whatever
So what about when a killer who downed a person who is crawling to the exit and is 2 feet away picking up the survivor and repeating said action until the time runs out? Is that not considered toxic? Define toxic as killers see it. I can tell you how frustrating it is when a killer does this. Either put me on the hook or let me leave. I ask because i have seen killers do this to me multiple times. I am never toxic to killers. So what could I have possibly did to deserve such trolling.

I was with my friends. My first killer was Michael and I was so excited to see him! Im such a fan of the series.
We were on Springwood and I was doing a gen alone on the street. I saw Michael and he was just standing there. I remember saying "omg guys its Michael! This is so cool!!! He isn't doing anything, does he see me?" The comedic timing was insane. As soon as my friends started screaming run teir 3 went off and I was downed real quick. I was like "How he do that? What happened? What does the music mean!?" Everyone was laughing like crazy.
I miss playing with my friends ;___; *goes back to solo queue sadly*
I solo all the time too. I feel your pain. We soloing survivors need to stick together lol.
-
Jane is not the only one lol. I played as Kate in her summer dress and bikini top and had a ghostface sit right behind me looking at my ass bouncing up and down. Then he proceeded to help fix the gen I was on lol. I love ghost face. Every person I have seen that has played him is funny and makes the game enjoyable. Just seeing ghostface peek around a tree is too funny.

At this point the offerings should be used after a match. So people can decide if its worth using BPS or a Cake or something instead of using one and feel like its wasted.
I really wouldn´t mind using BPS after a good match. So everyone can benefit from it.
This I can agree with. As much as I dislike killers I do not feel they should get punished.
-
This is 50/50 for me. As a survivor I am often paired with SWF people who frequently use the hatch and leave me behind even though I do a lot of work. I have never been let go by a killer when this happens. Usually the killer kills me because I am the last one because I was solo and didn't know the other 3 used a key. I guess that makes the killer mad and decided to take it out on me since he got screwed out of kills. One of the reasons I hate solo. But I am all I have since my husband really doesn't like to play more than 2 games. Even getting screwed over I still try my best.
On the rare occasion I play killer I am usually a really nice killer. I usually get one hook and thats it. Of course I am also a terrible killer so there is that too.
-
I got tunneled hard today by a leatherface. After i finished a gen I slowly went to another and forgot bubba has BBQ he saw where I was and got me on a hook. He sat there camping me and the SWF that were together finished the gens and left me on the hook and escaped. Points sucked. Messed up part was there was one person hiding maybe 5 steps from me and didn't attempt to pull me off and escaped. Soloing sucks.
-
Oni for me because every oni I go against when they get someone on the hook they farm them for their blood and basically tunnel. I never get points going up against Oni.

I do and I play on PS4 as well.

Ok so let's just put this out there. Not everyone can be a perfect survivor as some of you who are getting mad if survivors screw up. Some may be intentionally doing it while others might very well be accident. I am tired of hearing fellow survivors think they are so much better than everyone because apparently you guys don't make mistakes. Sorry but I thought the intention of the game was to have fun? Yes it requires some strategy but overall not everyone is out to get you.
I am by no means a perfect survivor in fact I am terrible 70% of the time but I try. Now I know I will get crap for what I said but I am trying to stick up for the survivors who may not be perfect as some of you are.

A camping Freddy truly is a rare experience. But then again, it always was. He was never a good camper.
And I glad to see you think us Freddy mains are skilled. Such compliments are rare. I usually receive...well, you know. So I thank you for that <3
I have been up against some pretty damn good skilled Freddie's. But I do see alot of them not use the generators to their advantage. I rarely see a Freddy fake coming out of a gen. That is an awesome jump scare lol.

I don't agree that playing as killer isn't fun, if it were then there's no reason to do it. I do recognize that it's hard, and that it's stressful. I have more fun playing as survivor. Killers have to play a much more intense game (unless they're Bubba campers, which 90 percent of Bubbas are).
That said, just because a player might find the role of killer difficult or stressful doesn't mean that maps that may potentially add to their stress should be eliminated. I feel stressed out on certain maps as well, thinking that the map is either worse for my playstyle or just plain ugly / irritating / boring / frustrating to navigate, but I recognize that my preferences don't take priority over everyone else's and I would never call for those maps to be taken away from those who do enjoy them. I just have to accept that the game wasn't built just for me, sometimes I'm going to have crappy matches on crappy maps, and I play through them and move on.

48 matches on Coldwind on one day? Out of 50? That would mean that you got that realm more than 20 times in a row. I have to try to remain fair here, that number seems a wee bit high to be realistic.
That said, Coldwind IS jacked up. They've got it tuned up to show off the changes or something but I think we're all plenty over it by now. I've played about 20, maybe 25 matches today and at least a dozen of them were on Coldwind. I have to admit though, I DID get the Thompson House a couple of times which was a nice change. Normally it's only ever Abattoir and Rotten Fields.
I wish I was exaggerating. But it could also be offerings people are doing. I really don't look at the offerings that people put up.
-
Not me. I liked the new map. It was a change up now all day 9 times out of 10 ill be sent to Coldwind Farm. I have played 50 matches so far today and only 2 have been other places.

Wiggling is not useless, but most times it doesn't get you out of the killer's grab, which is fine, if it was that easy to escape after getting downed, it wouldn't be fair for the killer.
Sometimes with the help of other survivors you can wiggle out or if the hook is too far away, so I always try to wiggle. Worst case scenario, at least you got a few points for trying to wiggle.
Odd. I haven't seen any points for wiggling. Wonder if thats a glitch at the moment temporarily.

What is a boil over survivor. I know its a kate perk but never used it.
-
@TicTac said:
If you could easily wiggle out, it would be far too strong. Denying a hook needs to be hard.
I understand that. I am not saying making it easy but with killers having a perk that can counter wiggle anyways it's basically pointless unless you are doing SWF right or am I wrong.
-
So three days ago I was in a solo match that had 3 SWF who were trying to get me killed. After my second time on the hook the killer was starting to see what they were doing and he or she decided that it wasn't right and so the killer decided to knock them all on the ground and they DC at the same time.
Long story short the killer let me finish gens and I even had the killer hit me like 10 times and chase me since I had self heal. It was touching to see this Legion had a heart and seen that it wasn't a fair match. That match is the reason I am never toxic to killers. Killers need love too. #LoveKillers
-
I didn't realize until yesterday that you had to report it outside of game. Learned that with my son losing majority of his Stranger Things DLC and his cannibal and Oni. I thought you just reported it inside the game. I am not trying to be rude I am just frustrated. Everyone gets that way.

Actually no its not. Its rare but it does happen.
Yes, that's what "extremely unlikely" means.
A co worker of my husbands was playing as a survivor and his son was a killer and they accidently got in same match. When they both seen it they immediately left the game because they knew that could be classified as working together.
It can't, unless they actually work together by, for example, the survivor leading the killer to other survivors and the killer allowing that survivor to farm other survivors. If they played normally, nothing would happen.
Also if its not possible then why would Behavior even have it down as a bannable offense?
Working together is a bannable offense. Happening to get into the same lobby is not.
Either way it doesn't change the fact it makes the game suck when you have a fellow teammate helping the killer out. There has to be a way to counter this.
-
@[Deleted User] said:

Ok so the example tonight The survivor while infected followed both me and my husband and blocked us in a corner each time just so the killer could hit us. Each time that same person would point at either me my husband or our other teammate. That is way obvious.
