I'm not really worried about 2v8. It's idiot mode. But some behavior is more obviously reportable than others. If I'm in a cage and I see two people in a corner spam crouching repeatedly is that reportable? Is opening 20 chests and never touching a gen reportable? Leaving me to die in a cage on one hook? Things like blocking a cage are obvious but the mode is so full of stupidity I wouldn't even know how they could assess it.
1v4 is my concern. This was one of the ones I had recently:
https://youtu.be/MY0rll0KUjo?is=-hWYOQwTNbMwaX7j
The Nea just started tbagging me at match start, went down, everyone knew she was throwing and gave up. 4k at 5 gens and oh so much fun for everyone. In the same session I had a Mikaela running only Circle of Healing who would hide behind a rock every time I came by and when I'd find her she'd either just stand there and look at me or she'd slowly walk away.
I do usually report people like this but does it do anything? Bans for griefing happen. I'm 100% on that. But how often, I dont know. I just don't want to see so much of it. It's one of many reasons I almost never soloq anymore.
I dont think that has much to do with PWYW. Theres been posts and videos about players throwing matches forever... way before PWYW was ever thought up. It was a major reason why the self unhook option was mostly removed.

Steam Charts only track who has the game open, not what queue they are choosing on one of five platforms. But even if we use your exact interpretation, that player counts are stable and Survivor players are simply migrating to the Killer queue, it completely proves my point.
Players don't migrate to longer queues just to be miserable. The fact that veteran Survivor mains are willing to wait 40 minutes in massive lines just to play duo-Killer, and that Killers are flooding the event, proves exactly what I originally said: the Killer experience is currently much more fun and appealing than playing Survivor right now. And no one wants to play Survivor, including Survivor mains. That is a combination of fun and balance.I'll agree the killer experience is fun. Im a killer main for a reason, lol. Being able to swap between several killers and enjoy different experiences is what brought me to that role to begin with and I personally am OK with playing alone. Thats not the same with everyone though. Many people play survivor specifically because its the only role they can play with their friends.
No, I dont think the survivor players are joining a super long killer queue and just sitting there for 40 minutes. I think its much more likely they're doing what Im doing lately with using the PWYW feature to play survivor twice before hopping in their killer game.
You can make the argument all day that the survivor role isn't fun and thats why people prefer queuing for 2v8 killer. I wouldn't disagree with you that 2v8 killer is more fun. The part im disagreeing with is that the killer role is more popular because 2v8 killer is STRONGER than normal. Personally, my 2v8 survivor games have MORE escapes than my 1v4 survivor games, not less. Link your stats on 1v4 and 2v8 survivor really quick to compare the results of the same player.

Not sure how a theory can be in bad faith, nor do I know what my bad faith goal would be in this case, but there are mains just in this forum alone that vehemently hate the role they don't like. They treat the two sides like warring religions. We've even had some killer mains say they actively try to get their teammates killed when they play survivor and that they think it's funny. I see it in my killer matches too, people who are intentionally causing problems for no obvious reason, often resulting in whole teams giving up. Do I know they're killer mains? No. But I've simply seen more of it since the system came to 1v4. My last session had two of these people in different matches. If the killer queue is only five minutes you can easily troll for 10k blood points and be in your killer lobby faster. Free points and spreading some chaos is probably better to some than waiting. Acting like this community is full of angels who would never cause problems is just unrealistic.
If you have people who are actively sabotaging their team, you should just report them for griefing. I DO agree the PWYW feature is probably causing more people to queue for killer who would otherwise not wanna deal with the longer queue time. I dont think that in itself is an issue. Playing 2 matches of survivor, then playing my killer match has been the norm for me this time around. If you have people trolling and doing stuff like pulling every pallet on the map down... report them. I feel like alot of issues stem from BHVR being way too lax with dealing out bans when its appropriate and the losing the playerbase's trust about it.

You need to stop conflating that everyone being so eager to play killer with a friend is the issue! Do you have statistics or information that verifies this claim? I also disagree with your opinion, because if getting a kill were nearly impossible in this mode, no one would play it. Killer is easy, and more fun than Survivor in this mode. And the queues reflect that reality.
The stats is actually the easiest part to collect. All you have to do is look at the difference in queue times before and during 2v8. The only thing that would realistically cause both 1v4 and 2v8 killer queues to jump up like this without any balance change is if people who normally would be in the 1v4 survivor queue to instead join the 2v8 killer queue. For many ppl, SWF is a major reason they even play DBD. They like to play with their friends.
We can see the number of players didnt go DOWN from players leaving during the event, so coming to the conclusion the players are joining a different queue isn't hard.

Honestly, every time I play against him, he does okay.
Slow starting game but you can build around that. People will run into your traps.
At the high end of play obviously he is weak but in an average Solo que, he's not bad.
I still feel like it wouldn't exactly be a bad idea to give him his traps upfront. The only reason why I could see a reason for the current idea of the traps being all over the place in random spots is for certain addons like Iri stone.

Am I seeing this right? Have you only ever played 7 hours of survivor across all 2v8 iterations? That is surprisingly low.
I have about the same ER as you for this iteration. Still having a bad time, and it's also lower than my norm of 50-60%.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4108607#Comment_4108607
I think pwyw has done a lot of harm. I believe a lot of the bs I've seen in my matches can be attributed to farming killer mains who don't care about the survivor experience. It would explain the absolute uselessness of many of my 2v8 teammates, as well as the bizarre instances of immediate throwing and trolling I've had an increasing amount of in 1v4 since they added the feature. It's necessary for 2v8, I guess, but I'd like to see it gone from 1v4.
I think that's why BHVR went kind of crazy with the abandon options as a way to try and make that less awful without having to address core issues in the game.
Which is why I hate the feature. It's a get out of jail free card for BHVR. Why deal with issues when you can just let people leave for damn near anything?
I just thought that with the up coming survivor commands it would be funny if one of them was 'please don't give up, we still have a chance.'
God, this would be so bleak.
I dont play all 2v8 iterations and I take breaks from the game as a whole. I recently came back from a break spanning like 8 months. It really helps with maintaining any semblance of fun when your not forcing yourself to ready up when your feeling miserable from the previous matches.

Oh 1000%, I'm just thinking gameplay-wise the T1000 feels more fitting for DBD but you are spot on that T1 has a sci-fi slasher vibe too that was unfortunately lost almost immediately after T1 and parts of T2.
I feel like most of it is because every movie after T1 had a terminator as a protagonist. You feel a whole lot more exposed when the guardian character is just some guy named Kyle.

After last year I'm worried about anything BHVR announces until they give us details.
I really dislike the 'we're going to fix this down the line' - okay, how? If you don't have that worked out yet, don't hype us on it, if you do have it worked out, tell us so you can get feedback.
I feel like it would be different if BHVR had a good reputation at making changes/fixes in a reasonable time span. Saying your putting something on the back burner is fine if stuff only stays back there for MAYBE afew months, but with BHVR... its often times multiple years which just gives the impression that they're saying that hoping you eventually forget about it.

T-1000 definitely feels more DBD coded than the T-800 despite Arnold, I just wish BHVR did more non-human survs because an intentionally gimped T-800 (T2) would be a great way to have Arnie in DBD, but maybe they're saving him for Dutch.
I feel like T1 had more of a "horror" theme going for it than basically every Terminator movie after that. The franchise essentially became sci-fi/action rather than scifi/ horror.
That being said... T1000 really opens up what they can do for cosmetics and abilities.

Once you have at least a couple thousand hours invested the trajectory pattern becomes very visible and you know when a survivor match is lost almost immediately. I'm just so tired of thinking about the hatch a minute into a match.Agree on that this is one of the big issues on the survivor side. My complaint about being survivor is not per se the difficulty difference (though that's not great), its that the killer has 'won' and we're all still stuck in the game. I think that's why BHVR went kind of crazy with the abandon options as a way to try and make that less awful without having to address core issues in the game.
I don't think it takes that long to figure out though, which is one of the likely problems with longer term player retention. If anything, I think survivors learn this lesson quickly, and perhaps learn it too well, causing them to give up matches way too quickly.
I just thought that with the up coming survivor commands it would be funny if one of them was 'please don't give up, we still have a chance.'
I've seen more and more people feeling that way and I don't know how the game can sustain it.At the current rate of queue times, killers also being the survivor players would basically be a given.
I suppose its not out of the question that longer term survivors break into two pools - SWFs and soloq that is killers waiting for their next killer game.
Unfortunately you have people who have drastically differing opinions on when a game is unwinnable and not worth playing out. When you have a teammate dead at 5 gens... you're probably not getting those gens finished. On the other hand, calling it quits after the first down is way too early to come to that conclusion.
-
The killer turning into different survivors and using those cosmetics for the mori is a cool idea. Not sure how viable it would really be though since they'd have to set up the skeleton rigging for every survivor model to move correctly.

Balance and a good experience are two different things. Even if the mode could be called survivor-sided the lack of matchmaking and killers on comms make it very unfun much of the time. I don't know what rocks all these trolls playing survivor slither out from when this mode rolls back out but a huge chunk of the people I've had the misfortune to play with have been so abysmally useless that the balance doesn't matter. They're opening chests, cleansing totems, and crouching behind rocks. A good chunk of my escapes in the few matches I dragged myself through were hatch. On top of that I often get to make it to the end just to get a minute of BMing from two killers. 3.5x is not enough to make me do more than a handful of that garbage.
"Im not having fun" is completely valid. Fun CAN be affected by balance, but often times its its own thing. Personally, I've been queuing up as TRAPPER. I get a nice dopamine hit everytime my Wraith teammate stirs up the survivor team and I hear the snap of a trap across the map. Its not exactly the strongest most optimal thing ever, but im having fun.
I've been playing roughly 2 survivor games for every 1 killer game with the play as you wait system and still having fun. Its been really nice for clearing out my challenges on both sides as well.

That's what Killer mains claim, but I guess not, because no one wants to play Survivor in 2v8. Survivor is 10s + 3.5x, Killer is 40 min for me.
They could completely butcher any resemblance of balance in 2v8 and people would still wanna queue up with the only gamemode that lets you play killer with a friend. You have GOT to stop conflating queue times with balance.

Behaviour has a ton of problems don't get me wrong but they did not "Create" that space. they have a simple chat function and even a filter and people are in those pictures purposefully avoiding the filters.
They for some reason are really slow on bans. I can understand ignoring reports about camping, but the obvious chat reports like this should really be an easy ban.

But is has not the same effect, cause killers have priority on basicly every action. If youre playing with high ping as survivor it hurts yourself more than anything.
In some ways... I've had survivors that are just teleporting around though. That makes it hard to even M1 someone in a deadzone.

Ooh, yeah, I can see why. Your only real options are to either book it for the stairwell checkspot before he shows up or, if you're at least in the hallway, be one of the 5 people who remember that upstairs has that third window that drops into actual tiles (not that anyone can be blamed for forgetting given how hidden and out of the way it is). If you're in the gen room at all during jumpscare you're almost certainly just taking a health state if not two! And if you've decided to be crouching in there, thinking you're not going to be the target, but the Jason knows you're there or just vibe checks the area anyways? Really nasty situation.
Generally they're in the gen room if im going up there, lol. I dont spend long in OE. Often times, ill hop in long enough to use the teleport to go from outside the house to upstairs. Stuff like a surge gen explosion is enough to let me know someone has started the gen. I also am a huge fan of sleeping bag. I see the location of any survivor within 10 meters of a hook... and they have no clue they got revealed.

Fair enough! Thanks for the answer as far as that goes. I'd want to ask so many questions but I know that'd be a bit of a nuisance, but the response to Jason specifically has interested me more than most other new killers in recent memory. I play mostly solo queue survivor at this point, and even when I played more killer it wasn't Jason too often, so a lot of the things I NOTICE people struggling with are like, the usual bad macro decisions (running killers back to hook, dying in a bad spot, unhooking too soon, healing under hook at bad times especially without Resurgence, not resetting, 3 genning on accident, that sort of thing), but thats because I can't really pay attention to the minute details of peoples chase.
I've also had a very different experience with Jasons in my own matches as far as my perspective on their power level, and people rarely tend to talk about specifics either on the forums or in aftergame chat, so its hard to tell what the difference actually IS match to match or player to player. Like, one thing I HAVE noticed is that OE scares some people a lot! They'll abandon tiles they can run Jason at because he jumpscared into them, or they'll crouch instead of sticking a gen even if they're at a spot where there are two different resources in range.IMO one of his strongest qualities is his ability to initiate jumpscare from windows. Many maps have really strong main buildings with safe windows. Garden of joy for example has a gen upstairs with a super safe window next to it. Defending that gen is typically just a waste of time normally... but for Jason, its free hits. He'll appear at the window rather than going up the stairs, which means the survivors now have to run away from the window towards... nothing really.

This is really interesting! I hope you don't mind me interrogating you a bit for my own curiosity, but given you've had a solid playtime and a really high kill rate I'd like to ask, what kind of survivor behaviour (insert obvious joke here) have you seen from your perspective as the Jason in these matches? Both on the micro and macro level, I mean. Like, as an extreme example, are people still running into pallets and windows during OE from your end?
I usually dont use OE to CHASE ppl, so the ones I pop out at dont know they're chosen. Even the ones that are TRYING to stealth me by crouching the OE arnt safe since Im constantly using info I get from Spies, sleeping bag and Surge to find my next target. That COULD be after a hook, or I might just swap targets rapidly to apply pressure. I spend very little time patrolling in OE unless its endgame for finding hatch and patrolling the gates after.

I think you just genuinely found a Killer you vibe with heavily. The entire Jason gameplay loop is immensely satisfying and it's no lie that he is super easy to pick up and get results with, but he's definitely one of the only killers I've played since I started in 2016 that feels sooooooooo good across pretty much every aspect of the Trial. But is he unbeatable? No, I've gotten my teeth kicked in by smart survs who read my Spikes correctly and deny me jumpscare value and know how to punish me dropping chase. He's not overpowered, he's strong, which is a wholly different thing.
He feels like the first killer that has no bad map. If I get Lery's or Hawkins as Huntress, I cringe as soon as i load in. I never have that with him. I usually stick with killers like Dredge instead of Blight who focus on the macro-game, but with him... I've been playing him on controller and I'll be getting even deadlier with those spears since I got a PC last weekend, lol.

You're talking about Jason like he's release Kaneki/Krasue. He's strong but by no stretch of the imagination unbeatable, most of his bustedness can be derived from those add-ons which WERE too strong and too free (Badge and Sauna Ronk) but those have both been properly tuned down, although a badge rework isn't a bad idea, as well as the Thrill-Penti Hex Build that everyone runs.
Base-kit Jason with normal addons and a normal perk build is just a more mobile Afton with an objectively strong projectile that is still 100% dodgeable and reactable. I am going to get dogpiled for having an opinion that doesn't encourage this belief that Jason is busted but I truly stand by it. At most, nerf his ability to lodge a hook spike in a Surv that just got off hook to prevent tunnelling but other than that, man is fine.
Am I just an outlier? Is this just a case where I found the killer I mesh with the best? Im pretty sure if anything, the upcoming perk changes might end up BUFFING my setup if anything. A spies buff would be cool. What does his average stats look like?

No literally, I think he's pretty well-balanced after 2ish months of him being ingame but the guy was never technically "nerfed", just had his incredibly strong (and broken) addons adjusted.
Im wondering how many ppl are fumbling hard as him then if his average killrate is around the sweet spot. I legit have over a 90% killrate as him in my stats from the last 30 days, mostly just because I dont make it a habit to slug for the 4k. Im pretty good at bouncing around to apply pressure, but I dont think im top tier. Maybe Im wrong and Im just a savant, lol.
-
I dont mean to be that guy, but you have to use punctuation and spacing. Having a wall of text like that is gonna make people not wanna bother reading anything.
-
@HoodedWildKard said:
"Nerfed like jason"?
You mean have a couple of addons tweaked? And have his ability to camp hooks improved?
Jason didn't receive a meaningful nerf, certainly not in the way he should've been nerfed. Literally all they did was reign in a couple of his more busted addons. Barely.
And they removed the return to hook slowdown when coming out of omnipresent even if he's vertically above or below the hook. So they actually slightlybuffed his ability to camp hooks. Especially basement hook.
Complaints were and still are valid. Jason is a very overpowered and easy to use killer. Strongest single ranged attack in the game, spammable fast traversal with free info and strongest set of add ons I've ever seen. He could do with some proper balancing to make him fair to go against.
Im really wondering how bad ppl are doing with him to be dragging his average killrate down. I look at my own KR and Im just like "surely im not some Jason savant".
-
Ppl claiming Jason was nerfed because his addons got tweeked, which includes some nerfs and some buffs will never not make me eye roll.

As much as I strongly disagree with the common complaints about slugging for a wide variety of reasons, even from the perspective of someone who plays primarily solo queue survivor at this point, this is a point I don't think anyone should disagree with at all. They NEED to update scoring events so that sticking around and playing correctly against these strategies is at the bare minimum rewarding on the BP end for the time investment.
Now, people might be asking, am I really saying they should give survivors free bloodpoints for being downed and sitting on the floor for a while? Yes, I am, wholeheartedly and unironically. Doesnt change that it will still be very popular and full Hex Builds are really obnoxious, especially on Jason. TOTH changes will only be relevant when they actually change the Perk and not only do a small number change.
Im not sure you really CAN change TOTH without completely changing its purpose as a hex defense perk. It was the same issue before when it acts as an alarm to show a hex was being cleansed. Setups could be made to make hexes basically unbreakable like the old Sniper doctor.

But it just happens all the time whenever Survivor queues are long that people start with that, but they never say the same when Killer queues are long.
My post with my picture is essentially a neutral comment. I hate the tribalism that occurs alot. You have a large portion of the people on these forums with a "if your not with me your against me" attitude, which im guessing are responsible for downvoting even neutral statements. You posting the same image for days now in several Threads does not change the fact that queuetimes on average have become longer for Killer. Even if 4 minute is not that bad, it is still longer than it used to be. So yes, while Killer queues are faster in the evening and have ALWAYS been faster in the evening, they are still longer than what they used to be. Even without 2v8 in mind.
(What I find funny is that whenever Survivor queues are long, people immediatly jump towards Killer not being fun and Survivors need nerfs… But whenever Killer queues are long, mental gymnastics are happening.)
I challenge you to find a post where I complained about the state of killer. I put the picture up everytime someone tries to claim queue times as an indicator of balance. I ALSO chime in when people make ridiculous notions the other way around, like the recent thread where someone was claiming everyone is in an 8 man PC usingSWF and how thats somehow borderline cheating.

I just think people are sick of long killer queue times (myself included) because I want to play killer more, but I don't spend that much time on the game recently outside of events, which is usually when killer queue times are the longest, the banquet being the exception.
It's summer holidays where I'm at rn, kids/adults are off school/college so lots of people queueing up for killer whilst these summer events have been on. I do play while you wait, but sometimes I have such bad survivor games suddenly I don't feel up to playing killer or DBD in general. So overall I don't get to play killer as often.
That's my personal experience rn, nothing to do with others voting or w/e2v8 in general is a huge matchmaking anomaly. Usually if you wanna play with your friends, you play survivor in a SWF. 2v8 give THOSE players another option meaning a large amount of people who normally would be queuing up for survivor in 1v4 are queueing for killer 2v8. They could completely butcher the 2v8 balance in favor of survivors and ppl would STILL fill the killer queue due to the unique ability to play with your friends.

But they are longer more often than they aren't for killer, it doesn't matter this pattern. As I Said I know it happens but I'm trying to give YOU context as to why you are probably being downvoted.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I think people know there is spots where killer has quick queues, just overall they don't.Its because of this back and forth that queues are a terrible indicator to balance. The game did NOT have a huge balance change in the past 2 weeks to explain the current queue difference. It has an ongoing event that is causing more people to play, not some kind of survivor player exodus. You can expect normal queue times again in roughly 4 days.
Beyond that, a 4 minute queue is not a bad state by a long shot. Thats pretty healthy numbers. Jumping on the forums going "my side has the BP bonus right now so surely the other side needs nerfs" isn't the way to make an argument.

Because it added nothing other than "sometimes its short" but overall killer queue times are long lol
The topic was bringing up queue times, so yes... an explanation about queue times its right on topic.
You have a daily pattern of ups and downs at the same times going from a low of 40k to a high of 90k. Of course its going to affect queues. How is pointing that out to the person conflating queue times to balance not adding anything of value? No, we dont have changes to the quality of the game by the hour. The time that you play will drastically affect the queue times.
-
I feel like the most you really should do is maybe make the totems look like normal dull totems for the first 30 seconds or so. This will help alleviate all the times survivors spawn on them. Beyond that, there's no reason to hinder the intended counterplay to totems.

No I'm not correcting you, I'm talking about how y'all are complaining about downvoters lol
What would possibly be a good reason for downvoting that?

Yeah this is the primary way people play Billy. I used to play a lot of him, trust me it makes it infinitely easier. If you're traversing the map you could still use your mouse, I do sometimes. But in loops I just stop moving the mouse last second and press Q or E to curve the chainsaw. If you're having trouble in situations where the survivor is straight in front of you and you dont want to curve, I'd recommend in those moments either 1. getting so close that you're practically breathing down their neck or 2. practice making sure your mouse is completely still for the last maybe third of the charge bar. You'll get better at completely pausing it over time, but giving yourself a second to completely stop your mouse is a good way to make it more consistent
Imma be real with ya... I haven't played on PC in forever and just got a new one this past weekend. Its gonna take a hot minute for me to get use to kb/m again in general.

i don't understand how this gets suggested in every multiplayer game, obviously it isn't realistic for the business model
Why would it change the business model. You could still see your own cosmetic, just the people who have the toggle would be effected.

Today i decided to start playing some billy and practicing which has been great fun today but ive been handicapping myself to no m1 and only m2 and not really trying to hook people so i need to win some games to get with some survivors who have perks unlocked lol.
I have been really struggling with the initial chainsaw curve. if your mouse moves a millimeter even if i think im being still, i start spinning and having a seizure.
and when im charging and trying to keep my aim on the surv as they are moving and their angle is shifting that means every time the chainsaw burst starts because both of us were in motion i always end up swerving another direction and missing all sorts of easy hits. I have no idea how im supposed to not move my mouse for a second like that in a game with constant movement and i have to keep the surv in my target zone. any tips on this?
Alot of ppl have taken to binding Q and E turn turning left and right. This will give you an alternate way to control your chainsaw sprint rather than relying on your mouse.

I had only seen very short killer queue times like that in 1v4 mode and only during peak evening times like 9-12 pm. But in 1v4 I also noticed that during off-peak times killer queues that used to be 2-3 minutes are now more like 7-8 minutes. 2v8 killer queue times are way longer than I’ve ever seen them. I’ve seen other comments about this across the community as well so I know it’s not just me.
My guess here... You have plenty of ppl who hop on SWF when their friends get on. During the day, ppl are at work or school which leaves alot of solo players. That can be both SoloQ AND killer. In the evening when ppls friends list fills up, they hop in a SWF which fills the survivor queue. During 2V8 you have an alternative option for a game mode to play with you friends than just SWF so the ppl who would've jumped in a SWF end up joining the 2v8 queue, many of whom join the killer side with a buddy.

I agree with all of these, we are all ultimately guessing and behaviour wants money from everyone. My concern only comes from the amount of times I have seen the notion that survivors spend more parroted alongside claims that behaviour favors survivors because of it.
Im pretty sure when ppl say survivors spend more, they arnt talking the individual players. Theres 4 times more survivors, so you can expect 4 times more survivor spending if everyone is spending equally.

ah ok then i understand now. I give off the wrong tone more often than i would like on any online discussion i have and i come off brasher when im trying to be polite. I hope i didnt seem hostile to you as that was not my intention!
What a dick... im jk, im sure its the same for me. I've been on this forum long enough to know that you will have people finding any reasoning to "prove" their favorite side is the underdog. This thread almost felt like bait for it since 2v8 mode ALWAYS does this to queues, but alot of people are pretending this week with 2v8 ISNT causing an anomaly that doesnt reflect things any other time.
Have fun collecting downvotes BTW, lol.

i was talking about que times, not suffering or misery. i didnt complain about it just stated it. why did you just do what you did?
Im sorry that tone doesnt come across well. I wasnt trying to accuse you of crying... but rather the people who were quick to complain about issues like Jason or Ghoul to explain why there's a change to queue times this week. Somehow they werent an issue 2 weeks ago when I took the picture... but they WERE an issue afew hours before that, lol.

Behaviour almost certainly makes most of their money off of the purchase of licensed killers. Of the five most played survivors only Lara is licensed, the top 4 are all free and account for around 27% of survivors played, all with free cosmetics so long as you save up the iri shards. In high mmr none of the top 5 are licensed (mostly noting because these players are more likely to play more and spend more money). Meanwhile, three of the most played killers are licensed and if you want other skins for them you have no option but to pay real money, this becomes 4 of the most played killers for high mmr (15% broad, 22.3% high). I'm not agreeing that behaviour hates survivors but no one has any real evidence for who spends the most money but I would bet its killer and killer cosmetic purchases.
Keep in mind that most used doesnt mean people haven't bought the other characters. People still get drawn to buying licensed survivors if they want the perks right away. You have a point for cosmetics, but even then... alot of people will just use the default or prestige stuff for the licenses.

right, im sure behavior hates the majority of thweir userbase and revenue stream. why do poeple think behavior hates one specific portion of their users. this is such an absurd nonsense trope to push over and over and act like its any kind of sensible opinion
It feels dishonest pointing out queue times during 2v8 and going "see? Clearly it means my side is suffering".
This was taken 2 weeks ago. Theres been no change to balance since it was taken. Events toss a wrench into queue times in general and they also normally fluctuate based off the time of day. Blaming queue times off balance issues would lead one to assume the game goes through vast balance changes everyday between noon and midnight.

Counter question: So analyzing basic gameplay is now a matter of a fair role time distribution?
I dont think anyone expects an even 50/50 split or anything, just that its not a case of the person claiming 1 role is "easy as hell" has close to 0 time playing said role. Often times the first games people play is against newbies, so if you have very little experience playing one role... it can lead to people assuming thats the average game.

”whats with the long killer queues”
No one wants to play survivor. Survivor isn’t fun or rewarding to play. More games than not feel like the match was over before it started. Atleast when i play killer i know if i lose its my fault and i played poorly, meanwhile when i play survivor i can and do lose matches through no fault of my own and even if i can outplay the killer my teammates do not. We’re expected to just lose.
If killers had to accept that they were supposed to just lose match after match after match they would quit too. But they’re not expected to lose and whats worse they think they should win 90% of their matches. If they don’t win a match it isn’t because they were out played nah nah nope. It was because of perks, it was because of pallet density. Or whatever new excuse they come up with.
Isn't 2v8, the mode with the really long killer queues, considered SURVIVOR sided? 1v4 queues normally go up anytime 2v8 comes around... the only abnormal thing here is the 2v8 queues.

I don't think it'll happen that quickly, it's hard to rework her power into something fun for both sides without completely overhauling her from scratch.
When the timespan were talking about is multiple YEARS, its no longer considered "quickly".
