Question hillbilly chainsaw curving
Today i decided to start playing some billy and practicing which has been great fun today but ive been handicapping myself to no m1 and only m2 and not really trying to hook people so i need to win some games to get with some survivors who have perks unlocked lol.
I have been really struggling with the initial chainsaw curve. if your mouse moves a millimeter even if i think im being still, i start spinning and having a seizure.
and when im charging and trying to keep my aim on the surv as they are moving and their angle is shifting that means every time the chainsaw burst starts because both of us were in motion i always end up swerving another direction and missing all sorts of easy hits. I have no idea how im supposed to not move my mouse for a second like that in a game with constant movement and i have to keep the surv in my target zone. any tips on this?

Lower your sensitivity, aside from that go into a custom and test how much you need to move your mouse/joystick to curve certain amounts around rocks n such.
wont that make my regular non chainsaw movement unbearably sluggish?
I'm pretty sure regular chainsaw movement is at a fixed sensitivity, lowering your sensitivity would mainly effect you accidentally flicking backwards while back rev or something.
Alot of ppl have taken to binding Q and E turn turning left and right. This will give you an alternate way to control your chainsaw sprint rather than relying on your mouse.
Yeah this is the primary way people play Billy. I used to play a lot of him, trust me it makes it infinitely easier. If you're traversing the map you could still use your mouse, I do sometimes. But in loops I just stop moving the mouse last second and press Q or E to curve the chainsaw. If you're having trouble in situations where the survivor is straight in front of you and you dont want to curve, I'd recommend in those moments either 1. getting so close that you're practically breathing down their neck or 2. practice making sure your mouse is completely still for the last maybe third of the charge bar. You'll get better at completely pausing it over time, but giving yourself a second to completely stop your mouse is a good way to make it more consistent
Imma be real with ya... I haven't played on PC in forever and just got a new one this past weekend. Its gonna take a hot minute for me to get use to kb/m again in general.
This is the way is you are training curves. As soon as you get a feel for it and wanna do S curves too you can use the mouse again.
To hit survivors who run into you i recommend feathering your saw (holding it at high charge without actually sawing) and looking down tracking them. Most survivors give you an opening after a few seconds where you can safely saw them.
Hens made bood guide vid about billy even with some techs I didnt even know about.
