Detectives Hunch, and We'll Make It.
Hex: Devour Hope, and Oppression.
-
It's a cool perk idea, I wouldn't make it base kit though.
-
I like Killers with a lot of versatility, because it really feels like I can exercise my skills and knowledge in the game.
-
It's a survivor sided map, so no way. Unless of course I was playing Survivor or with a SWF.
-
Nurse is fine.
-
They defend it when it is convenient for them.
-
Like Dead by Daylight? No. But sometimes I take a break from the toxicity in Dead by Daylight, and play Rainbow Six Seige. Which yes, also has a toxic community, butt their toxicity is more like "game toxicity" and tolerable, than the abuse you get from Dead by Daylight and it's community.
I play a lot of horror games on the side, but they are not like Dead by Daylight. I would play Resident Evil Resistance, but not enough players with that game trapped behind Resident Evil 3.
-
I have a very hard time answering this question, because I barely see any similarity between any of the perks I run on each different Killer.
It think at most 4 killers each run BBQ?
Do players seriously use the same build for every Killer?
-
"those" types
-
I've come to realize that when someone makes a thread, someone will make a polar opposite thread of the other side.
-
Is the disconnect penalty turned off or something?
-
It's not balanced. Is the answer to the question.
-
Honestly the simplest resolution would be remove the invulnerability. That would encourage it to be used for distance, and dodging attacks, than using it to fix mistakes. No more "oopsies, the killer mind gamed me around the pallet, press e! teehee!"
-
4k
-
"Worst"? Imagine Legion being such a bad Killer that you forgot they exist.
Lol but no really, I don't see them doing much to Trapper when Otz shows close to every day that a good trapper is practically unbeatable against average survivors.
-
It absolutely could. Just wait for the lore to continue fleshing out, and we'll see what happens.
-
Seeing how I use more than a third of the Killer perks across all Killers for various builds, my perspective is significantly different. I find Killers have a vast diversity. I would sooner see Survivor perks to be looked at, because even if I am running a meme build the perks being used is still below half the perk pool.

Is that still there for people who don’t have the DLC? Was watching someone play the other day who doesn’t have the DLC and saw they changed some of the perk pictures.

I think if you own the character and unlocked it via the characters blood web, the text remains unaltered. My Steve and Nancy perks still have the original text as well I believe
If you got the perks naturally through the web without the characters, then it has more generic descriptions
Well then I am glad that I still have something so memorable. Will I lose it if I upgrade Jolt to tier 3?
-
I found it sometimes remembers offerings. There's a number of times where I went back to back games wasting my coins even after completing chest opening challenges.

Pyramid Head? It seems to be a Killer you would like.

How many did you farm/cheese to get, and which one did you find hardest?
So a long while ago like over a year ago. I did look into completing my achievements, but I ran into Left For Dead and after multiple attempts to get that - I just couldn't do it. I even tried to sabotage my own team. Which isn't something I enjoy doing, so I simply gave up on the achievement entirely and started to complete all achievements passively. It wasn't until before my last break from the game, and recently that I got back and started to focus on completing achievements, as with most already done the only ones I had to focus on were Adepts and newer character achievements like Mikela's boon hex totems (I found pretty tedious, which I made a different thread about a week or two ago), and Yoichii's heal survivors that come to you.
The hardest achievement and the last one I completed was Left For Dead, and it was actually an incredible time when we did get it done, because it was a group effort that ultimately landed on a friendly Killer just being an absolute chad and gifting it to me when they realized what we were doing.

I'm sure SWFs have an easier time with it but I play solo. Staying in one place hoping the injured survivor comes to you while other survivors are dying on hook make it difficult.
Yeah that does sound like it would be tedious

fellow Anti-Tunneling Flashbang gamers where ya at?
But no really, I don't see a need for the skill check. Like I guess it could be argued that the Skill check is nice to have as a "you get a reward for succeeding at something", but it's really just a participation reward for drawing a square house on a piece of paper for an international art competition.
Instead of focusing so hard on trying to get him "anti-tunnel" button click perks. Teach them looping and map layout instead. At least that's what I did with any friend I had join the game, and they have had a much better time playing.

How many games did you throw to get Triage?
I had a SWF. I just played as a Gen Jockey/Medic/immersive while the rest ran troll boil over, sabo, and flashlight builds taking hits and coming back to me to get healed. I got the achievement in just a few matches.
-
No Way Out in my opinion you get more value out of, if you are looking to extend the end game. I found more value out of early game and mid game perks.

You seem to confuse yourself,
Rank represents Rank,
Rank is based off of your MMR usually and is like a shiny MMR.
I never said the MMR has something to do with grades,
I refert to MMR as Rank because I like to rather call it rank,
Also if the MMR gets subtracted or divided based off of highest MMR killer, than average MMR players would still face low MMR survivors,
since their MMR is lowered, games with new killers will always result in a bloodbath
and that's not fun for both sides

you seem to confuse yourself,
I call MMR rank because that's what it is in all videogames,
And as for subtracting or dividing highest MMR killer, it is still putting a better player vs worse players regardless of perks or killer,
because in the end the individual skill has the highest impact on the game,
and it is unfun that you would get weak survivors on new killers everytime, resulting in easy 4k games that are boring for both sides
Doesn't matter if you think Rank means MMR for all games. (I'm pretty sure MMR means MMR in most games). Terminology in a game community is important;
Rank = Grade, because Grades used to be called Ranks
MMR = Skill Based Match Making (SBMM)
Grade does not equal MMR, Rank does not equal SBMM.
It's okay to get confused sometimes, but I hope this helps you in the future.

Big content creator said nerf.

Regardless it's always going to be really strong on a SWF, because it's a free perk for the whole team.

Was "Left for Dead" achievement difficult for you
Absolutely, it was the hardest achievement for me to get. So hard that even in a 4 man all trying to get me this achievement. I still didn't get it until a kind Huntress gifted it to me. I'll quote my last comment on Left For Dead

That was the last achievement I got, and I got it today. Years I had wanted that achievement. It was this achievement that made me put off completing achievements for so long because I thought it was impossible. Today when my friends noticed that I had all but one achievement left we made it our mission to get that achievement, and even then. The only way I got the achievement is because the Huntress we faced saw me complete the last gen instead of going for the hatch, and she was friendly enough to let me go through the gate so I got the achievement.

How did you get "From the Void She Kills"?
A while ago, back before the 3 blink nerf, and before making grabs became impossible. I don't remember what I was running, but Tinkerer's has always been a staple to my Nurse builds, so I most likely was running that.

Did you get the Demogorgon Adept when it was available, or did you get whatever the achievement was that replaced it?
Both. Unfortunately even players that received Adept achievements for Demo, Nancy, and Steve also disappeared with the change, well at least I couldn't find them at a quick glance.
-
Nancy or Steve? I don't see their perks much anymore, unless it's a meme build and the perks alone are not that great and are either useless or have better options.

But legitimately most games like this are able to understand that "Oh okay they left bc they were getting destroyed" or "Oh I see they're internet died" I was punished bc my internet died while playing with a friend how is that at all fair simply bc some might abuse it?
What games? I've played many online games and even ones as big as League still give you DC penalty's when disconnecting is outside your control.
-
Mostly because it would be complicated. Network error? Could of just been you pulling the plug on your wifi. You're computer randomly shut down? Could of been you holding the power button. A repeating instance causes the server to flood and shut down? Could of been you making a DDoS attack.
That's just a few examples that are easy to understand.

I just made some wicked sugar cookies!
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/B2A6QWSJVKB2/cookies.jpg
(We're doing a company potluck thing tomorrow so I found a Crumbl Sugar Cookie Copy Cat Recipe and have tried it out. I don't know how widespread Crumbl is but they're a gourmet cookie place where it's like...$5 a cookie but they're super good so these things have some big shoes to fill...)
Unfortunately it "only" makes twelve and there are twelve of us on the team so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to see how they stack up...
Omg those look so good 😍

How did you get the fabled 'Left 4 Dead' achievement
did you luck out like myself and get given it randomly when it was bugged?
That was the last achievement I got, and I got it today. Years I had wanted that achievement. I ran Self Care, Urban Evasion, Wake Up, and Spine Chill. When I completed the last gen I tried to hide from Huntress, but she caught me in the distance.
-
Though I disagree with your sentiment on Borrowed Time. As a solo player it's still very strong to take to ensure safe rescues and give your team a fighting chance off hook.
I agree with you a lot I run Borrowed Time, Detectives Hunch, Lithe, and We'll Make It solo.

What was your Evil Incarnate match like?
As good as you would expect. I didn't get Tier 3 till after the last gen, and No Way Out gave me the time I needed to complete it, it felt VERY refreshing.

@humanbeing1704 said:
how did you get skilled huntress
That achievement has a 0.05% completion rate on xbox
I got that one a while ago. I usually run BBQ, Murmur, Iron Maiden, and Ruin/Pop on Huntress, so getting across map hatchets became easier. Maybe practice on Artist? I find hitting her across map crows easier than an across map hatchet, so you can work up from there.

Heh heh, birds go brr

No your right. Also why hasn't the edges of the basement stairs been fixed yet? Especially with t he update to boil over? When could all Killers walk on walls 🤣
