If I were to introduce boon totems to the game. I would make it so that whatever effect they give only gives that effect when in range of the boon totem, and some kind of indicator on the survivor(s) affected by a boon totem, so the killer knows there is a boon totem nearby. I would also make it so that it doesn't take a lot of time to break a boon totem, like the Killer just kicks it down.
That way even though they have to take time to remove the boon totem, it's not a lot of time, and the Survivors can't benefit from leaving it in an obscure place. While at the same time the boon totem will help survivors give time to escape 1 chase, take up killers time if they ignore the totem, or give the survivor a buff to like their healing or gen speed for only 1 gen/heal.

The issue is the rng of where the hooks are placed. It's not a bad perk, but it's hard to get consistent value from it.
Maybe change it so that the 4 most center hooks are scourge hooks, but that would probably break it. I have found it pretty consistent. There is normally around 8 hooks to a map, so I normally can always reach a Scourge hook, unless one gets broken because of a sacrifice, and at that point I would be winning a 1v3.

Run Lethal Pursuer to get that noice across map start of game hatchet, and fill the entire group of survivors with pure fear.
I am currently running BBQ, Bitter, Pop, and Scourge. I sometimes run Ruin, Undying, Iron M, or Monitor. If there are a lot of flashlights I run Lightborn. I may take Franklins if I just don't want to deal with items, but it requires her m1.

It is a very lose/lose situation, but makes sense. One you are playing only to win, and ruining the game experience for the Killer because they would also have to "sweat" to match you. On the other hand you are humiliating the Killer for your own enjoyment, which also ruins the game experience for Killer.
Even if you play too good the Killer is going to accuse you of being "sweaty" even if you don't bring the best perks in. I run BT, Detectives, Lithe, and We'll Make It - and still get hate by Killers because I know Survivor and can run the killer for 5 gens. If I found a flashlight in a chest, even worse.
-
Killer; Hook them. Play normally. Give hatch if the survivors are not toxic.
Survivor; Play normally? I am probably going to die, but I can at least ensure a black pip.
-
Agreed, same with Survivors. They should all share the same inventory of Offerings.

All my friends left 🤣 . It's why I joined the forums

Has this been fixed yet? I am surprised they disabled Dead Dawg faster than fixing this challenge
-
Yeah and they disabled the Saloon map faster than fixing the challenge 😂

An event would be more terrifying if terror radius was removed from all killers.
Remove terror radius, and survivors have to play in first person
-
I am pretty sure they are splitting it into 3 maps
-
God, please no. Do not give survivors the incentive to split on gens
-
I haven't noticed at all, but that is probably because pretty much everything increases your mmr, you start at 1100, and it caps at 1900.
-
Dead Hard is more consistent since the Decisive Strike update.
-
Ngl it's not even that useful on Pinhead. You see the survivor that picks up the box. What are you going to do, drop your current chase to go after who picked up the box on the other side of the map? Besides most of the time survivors don't pick up the box until halfway through to a hunt anyways, to immediately solve it and ensure a hunt doesn't happen. Then all the perk did was give survivors 2 more chests.
Very little reward for a lot of risk.

Personally I don't unless it's to complete a challenge. Some people just bring the item without add-ons because you keep the item IF you survive.
If you reach the point you need more items, you can just slap Ace in the Hole on, find items in the match, and then keep the add-ons you found on the item.

I really like The Third Seal. You can just tell it's working when nobody is making the hook save, or nobody is going to revive the survivor I left to slug while I finish another chase.
Lithe. I don't know why all the other survivors are running Dead Hard or Sprint Burst. With Lithe when you vault a structure the Killer has to go around, through, or over that vault location. Which takes time, and by the time they catch up to you again you ended the chase, got a bunch of emblem points because the game thinks you "escaped". The best part is that it's a fast and easy way to get between loops, which is what you take Dead Hard, and Sprint Burst for anyways.

What constitutes playing as a scumbag? Is there like some unwritten rule I don't know about?
-
Probably just a hacker

Just don't play the meta then, don't expect to win, and don't expect to do very well - just have fun with it. If you get a team of survivors that do the gens fast - don't care. The game will be over in like 4-5 minutes, and you can move onto another game. Play it out, see what happens. Joke around with the survivors, nod at them, spin, attack the pallets, moonwalk - just have fun with it instead of droning out and stressing out over the whole game.
You can't degrade. Regardless how fast they make the game, you will not go below your current grade level, so you can't lose (you might lose a pip, big deal getting black pips is easy, so most of the time you are going to pip up instead of pip down). You will still gain Bloodpoints so you're still being rewarded for what you have done in game.
Seriously I just ran DH, Haunted G, Hysteria, and Dark D on Demo and got only 1 sacrifice (x amount of other hooks), but we all had fun and shot the doo-doo in end game chat over how funny it was. Game lasted maybe 7-8 minutes? It didn't feel very long. Yes they ran mostly Meta perks, honestly I didn't really take the time to check, got ds'd twice. Claud had Sprint Burst, the rest had dead hard maybe? There were a few dead hards, but I couldn't care enough to remember all their perks. There were two BNP's and a Key though that much I remember.
I am already an Iri 1 Killer and Survivor, but Grades don't mean skill. You should look up what is high SBMM currently, it maxes at 1900, and it's not hard to get to 1900, so the "top" is going to be filled with boosted Survivors/Killers anyways.
As far as your Twins game goes. You used an example that isn't on track with your initial thread. You were playing for Twin's adept, which Adepts are insanely hard to get regardless the character, simply because the Emblem system for Killers is determined a lot on how the survivors play, and you are forced to play a very specific way, but you're not running an "off-meta build" you're running 3 perks, when you could have 4, and it's only Twins perks when you could be running other off meta stuff that would compliment each other better.
As far as how you play Twins. Idc, do whatever you feel is best. There are the strongest ways to play each killer, but not everyone plays killers the same way because people are more used to or prefer to play a different way. That's fine, just at the same time - don't expect the same result as someone who does play the Killer the strongest way.
I'm pretty sure that sums it all up.
-
I stand corrected. Well done lol
-
Why is the Forum good at censorship but the games is busted?
-
Just put em on the hook and move on. Give last survivor hatch, unless the last survivor wasn't contributing to the team and just waiting/hiding for hatch.
-
Playing survivor is very hand holdy I find. You can win many games because 1-2 player on your team is good and all you had to do was gens, or a few saves/heals. Unlike Killer where you only have yourself to rely on.

I doo-doo'd in my pants when walking through Hawkins and a survivor fell on my head
