Killers should have control over where their Hex spawns. Instead of random totems getting hexed at the start of the match, all dull totem auras should be revealed to the killer when they have an inactive hex perk. Then they can go to one of the dull totems and Hex it, activating their hex ability.
If a hex totem gets cleansed the Killer can hex a new totem, however they do not keep stacks if a totem had any stacks.
Not only would this mean the Killer has to take time to Hex dull totems when they lose their hex totem, but it makes Hex Perks more available to play, and Survivors more likely to do the other objective in the game instead of just focusing Gens.

well maybe because they dont feel like its a GG.
i also dont say gg even if i win as survivor and it wasnt a fun match why would you expect people saying gg when they didnt have fun?
or do you say always gg when you lose?
also why is a GG so important i dont get it.
I say thank-you to Killers, and turn my chat off when I play as killer.

It's literally Ranks but renamed grades, and they removed the ability to de-rank.
Ranks/Grades never were an example of a players skill, and never will be.
-
Steam Servers are down pretty much across the whole US.
Which gives BHVR the excellent opportunity to take this time and re-add Pinheads voice lines.
-
Another good buff would be to bring back their voice lines
-
I still don't have my first 50k, from the first grade reset... :-/

If you're a masochist it's great
-
I play Killer because I don't have any friends :(
-
I don't really notice a difference when I use the yellow bottles, and I find it doesn't even last very long
-
Give Pinhead their voice lines back

Here's a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don't worry, be happy
In every match we have some trouble
But when you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy now
Stop ripping out your modem
When a survivor breaks your totem
Don't worry, be happy
All the gens keep popping fast
He may even have to camp your A- Lass (definitely lass)
Don't worry, be happy (Look at me, I'm happy)
-
Mmm. Yesss. That's what I'm talking about

Did they fix the Engineer's challenge in time for me to get off work?

For double BP I would play the ######### out of it.
Dunno why people think casual mode will be full of tryhards, its almost as if they never played any other game beside dbd or something
bro, are ya good?
-
Ranked mode would never be played
-
Running a slug build, it works - a little over half the time.
-
You literally hit people with a pipe as Myers
-
I am sure they played a whole game without me, before coming back into my lobby to end the game in 4 minutes again
-
ngl the Killer wait times makes me want to pull out Resident Evil: Resistance again and go wait to play Mastermind. Same wait time, better playing experience even if you lose.
-
It's because even when you lose, you go up in rank as Killer, but Survivors have short matches where they often lose 1-2 so they go down or gain rank much slower.
Again the Dev's show they don't even know what is considered doing well in this game.

Yeah but it's incredibly unbalanced, they are designed to be found and deactivated.
The Game Map, the killer just needs to walk and break it from the other side. Personally, i would still disable the map but i see BHVR's logic with this.
I am saying this as a killer main btw.
*click* caught you trolling in 4k

Because with Dead Dawg Saloon, there was an uncleansable totem. That means there could be a hex perk that would not be able to be deactivated.
With the game map, those pallets aren't actually unbreakable, you just have to break them on the side they were pulled down on. So it's less game breaking than DDS.
You can still win against an active hex perk
-
Talks about the real issue in the game. Get's banned. No wonder the game is so damn survivor sided.
-
Change what you consider a win. Killer or Survivor if you black pip, or pip then consider that a win. If you have fun in that match then consider that a win regardless of the outcome. Create new game goals, like save as many survivors from being hook as possible with sabotaging, or win the game as killer by slugging and design a build around that. Close chat, or change your responses to chat. Taunt toxic players, and get fun out of pissing them off more. If you feel like you lost laugh with the other players, don't let them laugh at you.
If you take this game seriously you're going to have a bad time. If you focus on the sweaty players trying to make the by definition unbalanced game into a competitive game, you're going to have a bad time.

Yes, but how much time it takes to average player not a gamer, or streamer but average player? Month per character?
Yeah (19-20 days actually, but who would do the math of around 300exp per match, to save 9000 shards, at 0.065 - heh heh)? When new characters come out every 3 months, that's 2-3 characters before the next new character comes out.
And a new character is 3 teachable perks, honestly a better purchase than the Shrine of Secrets. Especially if you don't plan to put money in the game.
-
Because it's funny when you find a potato survivor mending in a pocket, so you just bodyblock them in for your after power decisive strike to wear off.
Hide in safer places.
-
Pig for sure, and those other guys. What were their names? Lesion?
-
"Camper!" cried the 4 survivors who stayed at the killer shack as I, the killer, tried to leave the basement.
-
While I run Diversion and Head on as iri 1 because I can't derank, so I just be the biggest shithead I can till I die
-
If they voice lines were the problem, why not just change them to
"I cannot die"
"I. Am. Forever"
or something else. Pinhead has dozens of chilling lines in the Hellraiser movies, he's an absolute bad-ass.

I am so tired of being slugged on the ground for 4 minutes. Please give me the option to end my suffering without DCing.
Just don't crawl to a corner or hiding spot the killer can't find you.
As killer I really don't understand the survivors that crawl away and hide when everyone is dead.
As survivor I literally havn't slugged to death in over a year because if I am the last survivor I just slug out the open where the Killer will find me. The last time I ever slugged to death was when the Killer legitimately waited till I bled out, and that's been so long.
-
I think the responses this thread is getting is your proof enough. The community is toxic, and support doesn't care enough to stop it.
-
I am more than happy to die in a match if everyone has fun, and I black pip / pip once
-
Why isn't this fixed yet? Shouldn't it be a top priority? Like with how fast they are closing other mentions of it, starting to feel like they just want to silence people long enough and hopes people stop complaining
-
We should never stop talking about it though, because that is straight up false advertising.

@Brokenbones said:
If there's no available dull totem then the perk doesn't activate
it's the same if survivors go around cleansing dulls.
Slightly off-topic but with the addition of boom totems I have a sneaking suspicious that survivors might not actually 'destroy' totems anymore, but rather 'unlight' them to cleanse them which means boon totems can then be used. That's my theory on how it'll work
IDK random speculation
If that's the case, then they should have it that the Killer can light, and re-light their own hexes. Like the players came out with the idea of Killers lighting their own dull totems to stop getting f'd by RNG, and then gave that Survivors which is 100x worse.
If they make it a scenario where you can cleanse a hex totem, and then boon it into a boon totem. They could balance it that Killers can hex a dull totem, or boon totem.
At the same time leaving Killers and Survivors the ability to cleanse a hex/boon totem

Have you seen how he attacks in his movie?

Weird name for Spine Chill
-
I'm not sure what you're complaining about. So you wanted to run a meme build that had no pressure against a 4man swat swf with all meta perks and items?
-
I never had an issue against Undying/Ruin. Pop Goes The Weasel however, now that ######### hurts
-
From a survivor main. Please heal each other to full when I am being chased by the Killer. I am confident enough in my skill that I can run the killer for all the gens, and all the time needed for you to heal yourselves. You know what, do the totems too to stop NOED.
This was a public service announcement.

Yeah yeah, just like Breakout, For the People, Soul Guard and Power Struggle were going to be OP and make killers quit the game. I know, it's absurd that survivors get to have perks.
That's not the same, none of those added another objective for the Killer
-
I'm surprised it still hasn't been fixed yet?
-
I think all this talk about Blight making it a top 3 is over-hype created by content creators
-
@GrimoireWeiss said:
"The perks we know next to nothing about will be op for sure"
The fact that it's another thing that takes the killers time makes them unbalanced to add to the game
-
Killers should be able to immediately open the exit gate
-
Yeah ever game I have to run Diversion to at least win
-
Killers can still hear you even though you blind them
