I ain't giving (what I assume is your own video) views to anything that's not even half explained.
Benjo is actually a pretty popular content creator for Dead by Daylight, but I doubt this forum account is his. He's well known for his builds using Mad Grit.

How am I not surprised there be so many people against getting more bloodpoints.

I still can't believe there are still people trying to kill the boons. You are creating too many problems for a mechanic where only ONE of the perks is broken or was it depending on the new nerf ( CoH).
SHOULD THE KILLER BE ABLE TO PERMANENTLY DESTROY THE BOONS? NO.
Imagine bringing a perk like Boon: exponential which is a very situational perk by the way that can be destroyed by the killer. Does not make sense.
SHOULD BOONS LOSE POWER EACH TIME THEY ARE PLACED? NO.
Imagine bringing a perk like Boon: dark theory which is an ok perk that weakens every time it is placed, imagine you using it with 1% speed bonus. Beware killer mains, you will never be able to catch me due to this perk because I AM THE SPEEEEEEED.
SHOULD BOONS HAVE TOKENS AND LOSE EACH ONE WHEN USED BY A SURVIVOR? NO.
imagine bringing a perk like Boon: shadow step that according to theory would have 3-5 tokens, you would automatically lose 1 token by simply activating the boon? or lose 1 token every time someone enters the boon radius and leaves? if someone accidentally entered the radius and left soon after you would lose 1 token for free because in theory you would be using it.
SHOULD CoH BE DELETED? YES.
BOONS ARE FINE.
I appreciate you stand up for the weaker boons that no one talks about, but still took the time to roast CoH.
As far as 'permanently destroying' goes, the same can be said about more than half the Hex perks in the game, and they are supposed to be considered "Superior" to all boons since they are only a 1 time use in the game.
What about "When snuffing a boon totem, the totem is destroyed". So instead of permanently destroying the boon, you can still use the boon - just on another totem.
They can update Killer hexes so they can hex dull totems too, then we got a whole second game in the main game of hexing, and blessing totems.
What about rekindle? Next survivor comes out with a perk that allows you to fix a broken totem back into a dull totem.
^ I think all of this would add a lot of great gameplay to the game.

People are aware that Grades have 0 impact over MMR, right?

I like the idea, but sadly knowing this community, it'll never get use because people seem to deem everything in the game as toxic.
Anything is better than nothing, and it would be encouraging. Especially with numbers as high as 50% increase to BP.

apparently we're including their perks as part of the kit (as per the critera of OP), which disregards Pyramid Head and Nemesis as their perks can grant Undetectable/Oblivious respectively.
Oh right Hysteria, and Torment. Once you unlock all the perks you completely forget what characters they come from.
-
4 out of the 10 Licensed killers do not have stealth. 3 if you count Freddy as stealth.
and that's just Bubba, Pyramid Head, and Nemesis

To put it simply, framerates are the end result, they don't say a whole lot about what goes on behind the scenes.
Say you want to hit 60 FPS on the last generation of consoles. In order to do this, both the GPU and CPU must be able to render a frame in 16ms (1 second / 60). If either one can't do this, it becomes a bottleneck and starts to lower the framerate. You could have the most badass GPU out there, but if the CPU can't handle it, your framerate isn't going to go any higher.
In DBD's case, we're already below that threshold on the GPU side of things. We could add more details and sparkles and it generally won't lower the framerate for those consoles. On the CPU side of things, however, there's still some work to be done to get the frame times under 16ms.
We're constantly working on improving that by doing things like optimizing off screen objects (so they aren't updating when they don't need to be), and a whole bunch of technical things I can't even begin to explain. This all takes time, however, since doing something as simple as preventing an animation from playing off screen may prevent a sound effect that's tied to that animation from playing.
Every game is different, though. Some will have relatively little going on for the CPU to deal with and be very GPU heavy instead.

This is not the case.
Wait is that why chests that had already been opened don't open till you walk past them?
-
I seen more blight and Nurse before her nerf too, so I haven't noticed a difference.
Overrated Killer, got nerfed, simple as that. Well at least I never had an issue with a Spirit, and as someone who plays spirit when I faced one that outplayed me, I would say it was a well balanced chase.

With the strongest killer in the game as a free character, pay 2 win really doesn't apply. Other characters (non licenced) can be purchased with shards (in-game currency), or they can be paid - however, you do not need these characters to win.
Perks are free, they can be unlocked through BP on the bloodweb by levelling up characters or through the Shrine with in-game currency.
... And exactly how long does it take for every single perk to hit the shrine? How often does meta perks show up in the shrine?
Regardless however you try to put it, if a game requires you to put money into the game to get the best things faster - it's pay to win.
-
I just turn off the game and play or do something else. Even if just a few hours, or days-weeks. Even now I have started to take a break before I start practicing for a tournament. I found that I played my best after a break, and then a couple days of refresher matches - then I take the time to practice until the tournament comes.

Way to use illogical nonsense to outright dismiss an actual issue just because “muh survivors!!”
Really shows your bias lol
Go read my other responses.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical game.
It's literally the games definition not to be balanced.
-
I still find it funny that the Killer emblem system is "You lose if the Survivors do terrible"
-
Did you know that at one time it was a friendly gesture to give the players free hits/heals at the end of the match, or some just absolute silly play at the end of the game?
Now it's - like it is now.
-
I want a killer that turns into survivors, and pretends to be a survivor, before turning into a creature, and killing those survivors.
I want a killer that just straight up sky dives people from no where.
I want a killer that is literally Spiderman.
-
I can see it coming back. The only reason it left is cause Netflix is making their own game, when the popularity of that dies down, Netflix will want the money and sell the licensing. The only reason why I would see it not coming back is if BHVR themselves made the decision that they don't want another Stranger Things chapter.
-
3 Kills, and DC's count. The Killer has no control over if the Survivors DC Killers shouldn't be punished or lose their reward for it. 3 Kills because killing the last survivor is heavily in favor of chance than it is skill with hatch mechanic and other factors.
-
While we are at it, I should get immediate iri grade 1 if I complete 1 generator in a match. It's my right as a survivor after all for all that hard work I put into getting there.
-
That's also a good way to control your MMR
-
- Add a quick message radial. Messages appear next to the survivor Icon, and consists of lines to inform your team.
- Remove the chat filter. Instead add a setting to enable and disable chat, that can only be changed in settings outside of a lobby and game screen.
- Get a better anti-hack software
- Killer now has to hex a dull or boon totem. When a Killer has a hex perk, the killer can see all dull totems in a yellow aura (boons auras are hidden), approaches one, and can hex it with their hex perk. Different hex perks will get different action buttons. When a hex totem is cleansed or blessed, the killer can hex another dull totem, or boon totem. They lose all stacks (if any) from the hex, and must start over collecting stacks.
- Remove Hatch.

I'm not trying to come off rude, but if we'll make it was better than circle, we'd be seeing it alot more these days
Boons is new. There is bless challenges, a bless achievement, and it's strong for a SWF. We'll Make It is an underrated perk.
-
The reason is because you're not going to tell a new player to play the Killer pig because her power is purely rng and needs a buff.
That sounds like a pretty hard killer to play.
-
https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Score_Events#Boldness
- Spend time hiding in the basement
- Be chased
- escape chases
- Run in the Killer Terror Radius
- Use lockers in the terror radius
- cleanse totems
- cleanse hex totems
- bless totems and hex totems
- prevent killer power
- sabotage hooks
- blind the killer
- drop pallets during a chase
- reset pallets
- vault windows/pallets during a chase
The perks I would recommend; Windows of Opportunity, Boons, Resilience, Spine Chill
-
They are not? Just because they are strong does not mean they are "OP". They take a considerable amount of skill, and it pays off.
-
Since the hacker epidemic my ability to report has reached a system, like I got muscle memory for making reports now lol
-
Yeah I don't understand how he has such a high kill count. Must be hard on potato survivors
-
Your next question should be how many of those were actually hackers?
But yeah, they buffed survivor to the point where it takes very little skill to play, and there is so much hand holding that playing Killer just isn't rewarding anymore, because all of the things that were meant to reward you as Killer is now denied by the push of a button, and passive second chance perks. I have even started to see Survivors stop running Borrowed Time because they know Killers are conditioned to play around it. How effed up is that.

Uh...old COH was just an all the time we'll make it, boom, checkmate I win, lol
Nah, We'll Make It was still better. Sure you can argue COH is better on a SWF, but consistently across Solo and SWF throughout the entirety of a match. We'll Make It is the superior healing perk. How many different totems will you find in a match without the help of other perks/items? How many hook saves will you make in a match? Probably more Hook saves, definitely when you are solo. In the instant that you remove someone from hook, you are now healing everyone at 100% speed increase for 90 seconds! That is incredibly strong, realize how much 90 seconds is in a single match? Circle of Healing you will spend time finding the totem, or using a whole other perk slot/item to find a totem, then you are booning the totem, then everyone injured has to come to the boon to heal, so they have to go out of their way taking time to do that.
Anyways you don't have to believe me, I've tested it since CoH came out.

The worst survivor probably helped you out the most too. I tend to kill these players without mercy. They usually aren't doing their fellow survivors any favors and me giving them a pass up the MMR chain feels wrong. I may also have trauma from soloing because of it.
You don't get MMR from hatch escapes.
-
They are?
You are going to get a lot more value from a map in a match than a flashlight. Flashlight saves are not easy to perform, and the Killer has multiple ways to counter it. A map is a consistent item with a lot of information that is consistent throughout the match. In a game where the most powerful tool Killers and Survivors have is information, then ultimately the map is the better item.
-
We'll Make It - It's the best healing perk in the game, and you can't fight me on this.
Hex: Devour Hope - I just like the mori animations
-
I can only imagine the satisfaction this moment was like
-
I tend to let the worst survivor get hatch, because I feel bad for them.
-
If you aim well enough. BBQ, DMS, Iron Maiden, SH: PR
-
What's even funnier the last change to Thrill was it got nerfed so it couldn't be used as a counter to Boons 🤣.
-
If it came to a vote. I would vote in favor that chat be removed from Killer. Let the survivors bag each other in end game chat all they want, and keep the Killer out of it.

You'd be disappointed with how little impact these posts have, I'd be surprised if anyone at BHVR aside from the mods reads them.
You shouldn't underestimate the members on the forums. Wonder how many are wolves in sheep's clothing.

Do you guys really need to post this every single day? The devs definitely have the data of how many people are playing their game, probably way more accurate than the steam charts. They don't need you people reminding them everyday lmao
It's less the community telling them "Hey this is happening" and a lot more of the community telling them "We know this is happening, and can see you're not doing anything about it".
At least this way the issue is addressed and they can collect feedback on how to fix it.

"Toxic Dwight" is redundant XD.
Also - yeah. I'm wondering how many of my 'okay, I just got my cheeks thoroughly clapped but I have absolutely no idea how' games looked like this from the perspective of the survivors. Going to be incredibly paranoid from now on I think.
Yeah I just put the game away for the day. Even my matches after that comment were no good.
-
I think with how many free events, they've done recently to bring in new players and they are only making par should be extremely alarming.
-
I have only had bad games today. It's rough. The only game that may have been good was one when I was Pinhead, but 2 people dc'd and the third one sui'd on hook. I gave the last survivor hatch.
The rest of the games were nothing but 2-4 swf. Thank god most of them were not toxic about it, one match had a toxic Dwight in it - but that was whatever.
-
It doesn't take skill to use, you take it to avoid getting skillful at the game.
Ever since I dropped using Survivor meta perks I've seen a significant difference on how the game is played, and become a whole lot better, now I don't even need to run perks to win as survivor.
-
3 Sacrifices = Adept.
Pretty simple.
-
Me who still hasn't started tunneling, because if I did the survivor would just run me for 5 gens 🤣
-
I love it. I get a kick out of when players try to make fun of me assuming I am grade 1, but I am grade 1 and them thinking grades actually corresponds to skill just shows more of how much they suck at this game.
-
Gen speed, and map design.
-
Freddy. They have a versatile kit that allows the Killer to portray the players skill, unlike many other killers. Also, they have enough counterplay that the killer divides good players from bad ones when against them.
-
I am glad they nerfed both. To be honest the CoH nerfs didn't need to happen. They could of just changed healing that you can't increase the speed past 100%, and boom suddenly it's not a problem anymore.
The Boil Over change never should of happened, and I hope the person who came up with it got fired. Which might be a bit harsh, but the decision to add progression for falling from a height when most of the maps don't even have hooks upstairs, and the killer literally unintentionally walks along the basement walls - was the dumbest thing I've seen. Makes you think "Does BHVR even have someone in the office who says 'No, that would be a bad idea because this'". Even right now the perk is still a problem, hopefully it gets nerfed again in the future, but it doesn't seem to be that much of a problem just yet until more players realize how strong it actually is.
-
Barbecue & Chilli, Brutal Strength, Pop Goes The Weasel, Sloppy Butcher
It's a combination of Information (BBQ), Chase support (Brutal), and slowdown (Pop/Sloppy). You can change out any of these 4 perks depending on the Killer you are playing. For example a Nurse is not going to get much value from Brutal Strength, so you should switch it out for MYC, Starstruck, Infectious Fright, Corrupt Intervention, etc. For Doctor you can change out BBQ for Distressing, Thrilling Tremors, etc.
Dead Man's Switch, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, and two perks that compliment the Killer you are playing.
Currently the strongest slowdown in the game I imagine. High reward, low risk, and the only counter is splitting gens with long chases, so if you're good enough at the game to end chases in less than 40 seconds this combo will compliment you a lot.
