Do you have tier 3 of WGLF? If you have yellow or green, you can only get 2 or 3 stacks respectively. Maybe you were full up?
-
B. Approach the woman, ask if she needs help.
You stand up, and slowly make your way around the tired to the towering woman. Though your heart only beats louder as you approach, you feel the need to help someone who doesn't seem to be looking at their best. You take a few tentative steps toward her and her gaze falls upon you.
"Are you okay? Do you know where we are?" you ask, hoping she could provide a little bit of insight or company in this lonely green graveyard.
She speaks, but she isn't saying words you can understand. "Adda ni ka dingir asar po me!" she says, with a powerful cadence as if she should be on a podium beseeching a crowd. You stand confused in silence, and she takes a deep breath. Hoping that she speaks something you can understand, you wait.
Her body tenses, and her cheeks grow. The words that come from her mouth this time are not words at all, but a wretched green sludge that makes you cough and sputter the second it touches your skin. You feel weak and sick, and she takes another sorrowful breath with you in her sight.
What do you do?
A. Beg her to stop.
B. Use your speed training to run to the building in the distance.
C. Run past her to the wall of cars behind her, there looks do be a window you could hop through and a slab of wood that might create a bit of a barrier.
-
We didn't get to 3 votes, but we'll go for C anyway.
Your heart is beating fast, and it becomes overwhelming. Sensing that being under cover is safe, you duck behind a pile of tires and wait. Your heartbeat continues to grow until the only thing you can hear and feel is the pounding of your own heart thrashing against the sides of your skull. You close your eyes and smell something fly over your head.
You open your eyes and see the locker you had thought to enter covered in green sludge, and you can smell it from here. You turn and peek through the tires and see a long woman in robes on the other side facing away. She's wearing a jagged crown and worms are falling from her head. On her hands is something smoking and dangling from a chain. The smoke wafts over to you and you're reminded of potpourri, but only if it had been inside something dead for quite some time. It turns your stomach and you try not to vomit.
She turns your way and you see from half of her face that she might have once been someone of great beauty, but the other half is scarred and rotting away and the eye twitches listlessly in her head.
What do you do?
A. Keep under cover, she doesn't seem to notice you.
B. Approach the woman, ask if she needs help.
C. Make a mad dash for safety as far away from her as you can.

The chest calls to you!
You make your way over to the chest, walking to conserve your energy. Running is exhausting. It looks like an old clothing chest, something you might have seen at Goodwill, but there's a lock on it. The lock is extraordinarily rusty, you don't need to pick it so much as break it. While tugging on the lock, you hear a strange noise and see the generator nearby now covered in some black and orange spider legs. Doesn't look like you'd be able to do much about it right now.
You give a final tug on the lock and it pulls apart, and the lid to the chest springs open. Laying on top of some rags and towels is a flashlight. It looks heavy, and when you pick it up and turn it on, it gives a satisfying click but the light is blinding. You turn it off and on a few times and have the urge to squat, but you push that thought aside. Your heart begins to beat faster. You've never quite felt anxiety like this, your heart is absolutely racing. You have a locker against some crushed cars, the outline of a building in the distance, and a pile of tires you can see, and you feel the need to hide.
What do you do?
A. Beeline for the building.
B. Hop in the locker
C. Crouch down behind the pile of tires.

I'll heal in the exit gate all I want, that's free points. If you don't like it, hit me out, not that hard.

Personally I think the Stale Biscuit nerf was fine because I hate the Twins and don't want to see them 🤷♂️

@jesterkind said:
I'd also like to know why Stale Biscuit was nerfed, since that's the one that really doesn't make any sense to me at all, but there's a reason that the devs are guarded with their communication. There's no point saying anything if all they get is hostility, and that happens quite a lot.
Also, "the community can guide you on what is right and wrong" might be one of the most naive things I've seen said on this forum. That's nowhere near true.
It's weird that people think what they want is the best course of action for the game. The devs clearly have their own ides for ewhat they want the game to be, and if players like it, then great. If not, well there's other games. I can't imagine how horrible the game would be if the devs listened to the community, no one ever agrees on anything, it would be a mess.
-
I had someone do that to me and I thought it was kind of funny. Even if it was annoying, it seems like quite an overreaction to say your day is ruined. It's a video game, just play the next one.
-
I don't think killer is harder by any means, and I usually get 3-4ks across the board really consistently. The reason I don't play killer as much as survivor lately is simply that winning a chase as survivor is more fun than winning a chase as killer for me. No clicking, or teabagging, or strong loops are dissuading me. The mechanic is just more fun to be prey than to be predator.
-
That argument doesn't make any sense at all. Like a Nurse addon that fully recharged her blinks with a shorter fatigue on a successful hit would be an equally terrible idea. It isn't hard to hit those hits as Blight, those are the majority of the hits you should be making if you're playing well. The normal downside of a hit is that you have to let them recharge and the addon removes the only downside. It forces there to be little to no counterplay as a survivor's best option when getting hit is to use the time and speed to get to a safer area, which just makes it a poor design.
-
Y'all are expecting some incredible rework when we're gonna get a clown level rework.
-
Same as they play in every region. There's not some secret region with better or worse survivors. You have games with idiots and you have games with great players. Region makes no real difference.
-
I would love to see Stridor reworked entirely, and already have an idea I'd love to see.
STRIDOR
You are acutely sensitive to the breathing of your prey.
Any survivor within 12/24/36 meters of your location will trigger a loud noise notification when they perform the following actions:
Slow vaulting windows, pallets.
Entering lockers.
Picking up pallets.
Falling from heights.
Stridor has a cooldown of 20 seconds.
This would make Stridor useful as a tracking perk, and would still make sense with the name and description of the perk. Essentially anything that would cause a survivor to breathe heavier for a few moments would trigger it, and would make it as fairly decent perk for tracking stealthier survivors. How would you all feel about this change to make Stridor not completely countered by Iron Will while also still making it a somewhat decent tracking perk for survivors that tend to hide?
Cooldown could be modified probably, but it would be a really decent tracking perk for stealthier survivors.

Controversial counterpoint: No one should see anyone's name.
In my ideal world, the game wouldn't show the killers the survivors or vice versa.
What would happen, is once the game loads, a small video shows the 4 survivors walking up to the campfire in their outfits with their items, and then they toss their offerings in. You wouldn't see them until you're loading in.

Eh. It's okayish but people can just use it to 99 Sprint Burst instead because the Exhaustion duration is slightly too short. (eg, ~7-8 seconds would fix that). The buff definitely helped since it's not useless once a gen is past 50% progress or whatever it was though.
The strength doesn't come from that fact that it exhausts you for that amount of time, but from the fact that it prevents people from being unable to recover from exhaustion while working on gens. If they want to recover their perks to use in chase, they can't be on gens.
-
Actually they don't have to decide that at all, plenty of perks have multiple applications inside a single perk.
-
I know this is a fun thread but I used Dark Sense for fun once when the killer had Rancor so I had no idea I was an easy mori til the last gen popped 😓
-
Didn't you derank off stream and lose games just to get easier matches? Don't you even have a disclaimer claiming this? You can't honestly claim a 400 4k streak if you go inbetween matches to lose on purpose to make it easier.

I've been blinded playing killer by survivors I'm not even looking at. That doesn't make sense, shining a flashlight behind someone will not effect them. Shining a flashlight beside someone who's not looking at you will not effect them. but for some reason in this game it's a thing.
This might sound silly, and it's purely speculation on my part, but I think if you face a wall and immediately pick up a survivor, there's some server desync and the game makes it so you're not fully facing the wall because you picked up too quickly. I had this happen frequently, and then I started facing the wall, waiting a second or two, and then picking up and I stopped getting so many out of frame blinds. I genuinely think there's a desync issue that makes the server, and survivor not see you as actually facing the wall.
-
If you are truly facing a wall, you won't get blinded. If you're too far back and there's enough of a gap, or you're off center, or if there are holes in the wall you can still get blinded. Flashlights are the weakest items survivors can bring, and you should be glad to see multiples of them in the lobby.
If you dislike them enough you can always just bring Lightborn so that the people with flashlights sit on gens instead of trying to go for cocky saves.
-
Plague has one of the best base perksets in the game, it's not that surprising. And yeah maybe you should stream if you're that good, go for it.
-
Nemesis is pretty strong. And the zombies do an incredible amount of work even if they aren't downing or infecting people. You get 2 free things that push survivors off generators, one of the strongest sub powers that exists in the game right now.
-
Some people want to play the game how they like, just because you bring an offering doesn't mean people should feel forced to farm, it's kind of boring to do and killers don't really suffer for bloodpoints as it is.
-
Some people will specifically tunnel out the newest character because they may be less likely to have DS.
-
I run chase perks on every single killer I play using corrupt as often the only gen perk I even use, and I 4k consistently without much effort. People really undervalue using perks that make chases quicker as opposed to perks that just slow down gens, and when you eat through resources, it makes chases that follow even quicker.
-
despite how unfun it may be, letting people bleed out isn't holding the game hostage, as it will end when they bleed out.

Okay but which fit was I wearing at the time??
-
It's always good to branch to other killers when you feel bored with your main, but I wouldn't say Ghost Face would be the right play if you're having problems with those specific perks since Dead hard, BT, Spine Chill, and Iron Will will all be as effective, if not more effective against him than they would on Slinger.
-
Well I'm a survivor and I love pallet blinding, looks like we're at an impasse.
-
I enjoy letting there be a "final girl" even though it's not always a girl.
The survivor that I feel suffered the most in the match, or the cutest (lookin at you Dwight) gets to live.
-
If you want Bubba cosmetics that you can earn, there's always the prestige option. You didn't pay for the masks for the survivors, so it makes no sense you would get actual money based currency for them.
-
Everyone cries about wanting operation health, and then we get a midpatch where a significant chunk of resources were put into reworking Nurse's entire code, and everyone whines that the midpatch doesn't do enough.
You can say all you want that you don't want new characters or perk changes but when the data lands that shows "Hey we spent 3 months working on 1 killer, for health, as requested" the massive negative response shows that people in fact do care and want new content.
-
Pharmacy would be a bit (a lot) strong, you could have teams that essentially get a free mid chase Adrenaline 3 times per match.
If you want to buff it, you could give the medkit some addons, or change it to a purple medkit which is what I'd personally want from it.
-
Kill people before the gates are powered and I promise they can't Dead Hard out of it. Works for me.
And if you're complaining about a 360 that's solely on you, sorry.

Pretty good stuff I must say. Who's that by the way?
A boss from Persona 5

They need to start exploring other themes for her besides the boring and way overdone priestess theme. Literally every skin released for her so far focuses on that aspect without trying to go beyond the boundaries of the character. Meanwhile the classic killers (Trapper, Wraith, Billy) constantly get skins which explore new themes for these characters and even try modern settings for them.
Just give us Adiris in some modern or casual outfit already.
I literally just want this, and give a nice handbag instead of a censer

It's not about maxxing points, but getting iridescent emblems. You can get a perfect 32,000k score and not get Merciless Killer. Aim to get as many hooks as possible, don't stay too close too hooks, and try to prevent gens as much as possible as well as them being done too quick will effect the emblem.
Much easier to double pip after rank reset too, so that's definitely the time to do it.
-
It's just them loading into the game earlier. The same is true when you see generators get blocked after you've already worked on them. That means the killer hadn't finished loading in either.
-
Remember the god windows that existed in nearly every map? Most have either been removed entirely, or exist with a breakable door nearby to make them useless. Coal Tower and Groaning Storehouse are no longer buildings of despair.
-
The British have truly been the most marginalized and victimized class in the world, and we really ought to do more to help them.
-
I consider it toxic in the same way I consider someone looting a chest I wanted toxic. Annoying and makes me mad, so I'll say "this is the most toxic thing in the history of mankind" but I don't really mean it.
-
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no vote ups, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Isn't it on the streamer to moderate the content on their stream?
If racism is taking place isn't the onus on them to stop broadcasting it?
Are you suggesting that when people of color experience targeted harassment made easier by a cosmetic, they should simply no longer stream because it is instead racist for them to show people the racism they encounter? Rather than Behaviour removing a cosmetic that was unnecessary and often used for harassment, instead, black content creators should be silenced when people behave poorly towards them in racist manners using cosmetics that can instead be removed as to not be used as a tool that way?
-
Some people gain enjoyment by doing something that they know is making someone else unhappy.
-
I dunno man, I haven't been able to load into a game with a Haddonfield offering in years :/
-
I really love it, I just wish I could run 8 perks to have all the fun ones :(
-
Bubba avatar.
Calling people of color.... 'coloured people'
"Their blood is in your hands"
I have all the feeling in the world that you were one of the types of people doing this sort of thing because you certainly talk that way.
-
It removes a tool used for racist behavior.
If you had neighbors that hated you and they kept vandalizing your car overnight by throwing eggs out of the basket of eggs you keep on your front lawn, removing the basket of eggs you keep on your front lawn probably wouldn't stop it all together, but it would remove a method they use to do it. That's the point.
Limiting ways people can cause harm to others is important as well.
-
"You're just giving those people what they want."
Like a gameplay experience with a little less racism? That's probably the intention

They should not balance around kills. I can camp with Bubba. I can kill 2 survivors per match. Is this makes game balanced? No. They should balance game around hooks.
2 kills by camping is still 6 hook stages you got through. The end results is the same.
