I don’t think I’ve seen an Adam with Deliverance since he came out lol. But I have seen other survivors using it. I get that it’s more likely for them to be using their unique perks, but like I said, a lot of people pick a survivor they find aesthetically pleasing / relatable. I only play as Laurie because I love Halloween. I don’t like any of her perks.
I just find it interesting that you can mind game a killer simply by playing as a specific survivor.

I suppose during those moments it’s no longer assuming. The survivor is basically telling you lol. I had a Claudette recently who sat on a generator after being unhooked so I chased her and she jumped into a locker and slow climbed out thinking I’d grab her so she could use DS, but I just stood back and lunged and left her on the ground. So she DC’d. 🤣

It’s funny when I play as David as killers are always hesitant to hit me as they’re waiting for me to use Dead Hard lol. I remember when I was against a TTV and a Bill in my lobby wasn’t using BT when he unhooked me and the streamer couldn’t understand why he wasn’t using it as he was a Bill. But you don’t have to use the perks that come with the survivor you’re playing as. 🤷🏻♂️

But yeah, it's one of the obligatory perk on red ranks. DS, UB, DH and BT/Iron Will. Every single game everyone has DH, ocasionally someone has SB, but it's rare. This third health state it's what made me stop playing nurse, too much trouble to make a perfect read just to be outperked and restart the chase
It’s definitely used a lot but I’m rank 1 and don’t use any exhaustion perks. But I’m probably a rarity lol. I find it more satisfying to escape chases / loop without any second chances. Makes me feel like I’m actually earning my survival. I don’t shame people who do use exhaustion perks though. Each to their own.

I rarely get slugged when I’m Bill as people assume I’m running Unbreakable but I play Bill because I think he looks cool when he’s P3. It’s funny how you can get the effect of a perk without using it. I’m always slugged as Laurie if I’m downed after being hooked and I legit never run DS lol.

Been playing Fall Guys since it came out, the amount of fun I have is just endless on that game.
I go through phases with games. Recently been loving World War Z again, as it’s just so fun shooting hordes of zombies lol. I also recently downloaded Remnant: From the Ashes as it was free on the PlayStation Store and I’m enjoying that a lot too. I always end back up on DBD, but I do find myself taking breaks.

I’ll have to check the new Fall Guys update out! I haven’t played that game in so long but I did really enjoy it. It was just some mindless fun and I loved my slurpee cosmetic!

Myers and Plague would be deadly. Especially if they were both running Infectious Fright. Imagine a Tier 3 Myers from the start of the match lol.

It does make me laugh when survivors complain about queue times and then those same survivors will go into a lobby to deliberately try to provoke the killer and do anything they can to make them have a miserable gaming experience. How do they not put two and two together?

The upcoming DS rework is one of the best things to happen in the game. It should be used to prevent being tunnelled. Not so that an entire SWF can all save each other under the killers nose because they all have DS active. Or so that people can sit on generators and then jump into a locker when the killer comes over. It’s been a long time coming.

I completely forgot about Wake Up. I never see anybody using it, but I actually really like it. Especially when I’m injured and also running Resilience + Spine Chill.

You seem to have more of a problem with being slugged than the hatch lol. What’s stopping a killer from closing the hatch and leaving you slugged? You’re still in the exact same scenario you’re complaining about in your OP. As other people have mentioned, if you dislike being slugged so much, bring Unbreakable.

Why are people mentioning Autodidact? How is that a bad perk? It’s so good lmao.
I’d probably have to say Flip-Flop as it’s completely dependent on being slugged and not being near a hook, but it’s so fun when you get it to work. Possibly even Visionary? I find it really useful on certain maps, but I’m not sure if it really warrants being called bad lol.
I don’t have any for killer that I enjoy using. 😂

I began recording survivor attendance in my killer matches awhile back. Jeff rivals Quentin in being the least popular character from my personal gaming experience. Everyone else has hit double digits with several ladies hitting triple digits. Jeff and Quentin are at 9 and 7 in respected order. Pretty sure that's why he is neglected in comparison. He's just hyper unpopular which is unfortunate.
Most of my favourite survivors are barely seen lol. I mostly play as Ash, Jeff, Quentin and Adam. But I still want Jeff to have some variety with his cosmetics as there are still people that’ll buy them. 😭

I’ve seen a surge in hackers recently. I’ve gone against 2 this month alone. Most recently was a Wraith who could teleport to your generators. He’d go AFK and then just appear straight behind people. He’d also stop moving after he picked somebody up but the wiggle bar wouldn’t appear and then you’d just appear on a hook at the other side of the map lol.
The best thing was when I realised what he was doing, so I sat on a generator when he went AFK and then got off it and he teleported to it trying to grab me but I was just sat teabagging him. 😂
He had a username like ‘Anti Gay’ so he’s obviously one of those really edgy teenagers who are just so cool. /sarcasm

I’m not sure that this will ever happen but I am a fan of Hostel and would love to have Paxton as a survivor. Do you have any ideas on what ability the killer would have?

Possibly Autodidact as well, though I'm not sure quite how that perk works.
I’ll always let somebody heal me if they want to, but I run Self-Care + Botany Knowledge and most likely a med-kit, so it’s actually faster to heal myself than to let a teammate do it.

I guess it depends on how you define "bad". To me, if a team can't loop you and just holds W and instadrops when they realise it, they're pretty bad. They'll probably win because that wastes more than enough time to get the gens done, but they're still bad.
By bad I mean teams of people that go down within seconds of being found or the type that all stand around the hook and get slugged for trying to be super altruistic. Most of the SWF I face lose because they spend too much time trying to save each other and body block over actually doing generators. So it always bites them in the ass. I find solo lobbies can be worse at times because they’ll just cling to generators.

This. I run into alot of lets say not too bright kates but I have also seen some really great ones. Also had a game ironically on Haddonfield where I slugged a quentin and went to other side of map to check a gen I thought she would be working on ( was billy so there in a flash) and nope. So I went and checked every remaining gen and none had been worked on so I went to hook quentin and he was gone (damn). Found him on opposite side of map where I downed him just before he bled out so I reset him and went looking for kate. Searching every house, locker, behind every bush but if they rotate lockers and move around immersly can be very hard to find on most maps. Eventually said screw it sorry quentin went to kill him and mid chase her a crow (yay Kate) broke chase to kill her. She had crows flying over but I was getting no notifications so she was moving just enough. Not all Kates are this way, Not all Claudettes are the way you described it's just the random person controlling the character.
People just assume that every P3 Claudette is going to hide all game and do nothing which is such a tired assumption. In my lobbies, Claudette’s are normally the best loopers and the most altruistic. I have more issues with Dwight players than I do with Claudette players. So... 🙃

I do love the design though? Just the same way I love P3 Ash and P3 Jake and P3 Yui. I’m not going to stop using P3 Claudette because people like you have an issue with her. That’s not my problem. 🙊

@MadLordJack If you put 4 solo players together who know how to play, the game will still be hard for the killer. As long as people can put up decent chases and do generators, it’s game over. I just rarely get teammates that can do these things. I can be getting chased for ages and when I’m finally downed people are just walking around the map. SWF definitely have an advantage, but some are awful. If you have 4 bad players in a SWF, they’re still going to be bad whether they’re on mic or not. 😂

Let’s not just act like it’s only Claudette’s that do this. I play as P3 Claudette sometimes as I love her design, but I’m not a useless teammate. The survivor I’m playing doesn’t change how I play. I’ve seen every survivor play in the way you’re describing. The issue is with the person.

It’s because a lot of people play in a 4-man so you’ll never get them as teammates when you’re playing solo. To be fair though, I have played with / against some genuinely strong solo players. So we do exist. 😂

It isn’t a ‘horrible’ perk at all. There’s plenty of perks that are good that people don’t use as they won’t stray from the meta. It doesn’t mean they’re bad perks. I encounter Ruin / Undying / Devour Hope a lot in my games, so I actually use Small Game + Inner Strength frequently.
