    Completely one sided.
    That's not called balance.

Easy solution I use all the time when I play killer - I don't do the standoff, I hit em and let them have it. But then again , even when I catch the last one I let them have the hatch anyway.
You do standoff , it's your own fault , there's no need for a fix because you think you deserve to get a 4k.

Killer kinda deserves a 4k tho if their whole team was crap and the last one stumbles on the hatch after you...

Ok buddy, do you want a solution to the Hatch stand off that can last hours or not????

Don't forget the Snatch and Kill is only powered when within the sound of the Hatch, not the entire map.

The solution turns up the heat on the end game standoff. Stop looking at it from a survivor point of view and think from both sides, are both sides being looked after here?

Survivor keeps Hatch if they find it first ... Check
Does Killers kill if they find the Hatch first ... Check
Does Survivor have a feasible alternate way of playing should the Hatch be camped .... Check

Is this anything but standing a meter away starring at each other ... check

I was looking at it from a killer's standpoint since I mostly play killer xD

And you honestly think this is too OP? What would you change to make it more acceptable?

I would honestly like what Mister_xD suggested. That way the survivor is rewarded for even getting another gen done and the killer has been given the chance to kill the survivor and to close the hatch

I'd love an all no perk, no auras anything mode and also no one should see anyone else's items or name sin lobby. As @Peanits said silhouettes only so no lobby dodging and no excuses but you own bad play. The extra bp would be nice and probably throw in a bonus ot iridescent for that as well.

For a all hands on deck type of que give the killers an extra bp/iridescent bonus but don't let them know how many might be swf. To really make it interesting you could add the following game modes to it.

Anything goes - This one is for the those wearing the pants in the family so to speak. This mode would feature any items and addons/offerings you want to bring. But still no perks and still follow above idea.

Barely there - This mode you could only bring 1 item or offering not both and no addons.

Can I get a hand - This mode you could bring 1 item and 1 offering only, still no perks.

Damn i'm good - This mode features 1 item, 1 addon, and 1 offering but still no perks.

Everything but the kitchen sink - This is where the true ones live and die. In this mode there's nothing but your wits to win or lose. In addition to no perks, you get to bring nothing but your skills and prayers. So no items, addons, offering or anything. There's no screams allowed not even when you get hit, no terror radius, no sounds no nothing for anyone. No footsteps, no crows, no gen auras unless they get completed.

To make it even more Diabolical exit gates when powered aren't shown to anyone and won't show up on the map until they're powered. So be careful running around looking for the exit gates sinc you might run into someone else.

Frack mode - In this mode you get to choose your killer or survivor but nothing else, as the games loading you'll get a random assortment of perks, items and addons or nothing at all. You could get a key but with a flashlight addon.

Now last but not least there's the

HURT ME PLENTY mode - This mode will really test your skills out because just like the kitchen sink mode it's difficult. But wait how is that so, well glad you asked.

In this mode your killer, survivor and map are all chosen at random and you won't know till game loads. It'll be a outline only until it loads in. But once it does it's off to the races so to speak.

I would still say no SWF in the no items, offerings or perks game modes, since swf would have kindred, bond and empathy due to voice comms

  • I would switch from this play mode instantly and never look back! They should reduce the pallets as well tho since it's hardcore mode and maybe add the scratch marks so survivors have to be a bit careful when choosing to run or play stealthy

Ochido uploaded a video that belittled another youtuber, Tru3Talent. When Tru3 called him out in the video, commenting and asking why he does these things, Ochido then responded by telling his followers to spam True3's videos with the comment 'OCHIDO'. Why is he still allowed to play the game? What's the point in banning someone permanently if you can always buy the game again? If that's the case, everybody could break the rules all the time, get banned, but then come back and do it all over again. What's the point of banning people if they can always come back? I genuinely feel like he is a toxic and disruptive part of this community, not allowing him to participate in the game would help alot, I feel. I'd genuinely like a response before this gets taken down.

Also, if this gets taken down because of witch hunting, then that's very hypocritical. Ochido Witch hunts, and he's still allowed to roam around.

They should implement an ID ban like Overwatch has it. Then those players would be banned unless they buy whole new Motherboards xD

like i said in the title, i'm gonna take a break from DbD.
the last Q&A stream just killed any motivation i had left to play this, since it showed me, once again, that the devs have no clue what balance is and that they will continue their nerf the killers and buff the survivors routine.
i stopped playing seriously a long time ago. most of the time, i just watched a stream and tried to get the streamers in my lobby to have some fun with them (and no, i'm not talking about stream sniping them, since i know them and i paused their streams when i played against them. it was a normal round, with the difference, that i knew the people i played against and could watch the round afterwards from their perspective. Also, they knew they were in my lobby, so they could have left if they didnt want to play against me.) or played to get daily challenges. i could take a lot of time to explain how things got like this, but i'm not. i'm just gonna say this: My hope for this game is dead and so is my motivation to keep playing. I will, however, come back, when i see some Youtubers (like Tyde or Tru3) talking about some huuuuge QoL changes / Buffs for killers. otherwise i'm just gonna stick with some BALANCED games, that actually make fun to play. like TF2.
I might look into DbD myself from time to time, get some daylies and see if anything changed, but i will definitely stop playing daily.
Maybe i'll see some of you guys in Deathgarden! (as long as the devs there dont do the same stupid mistakes like the DbD devs did (multiple times).)
Just one more thing: i am a huge DbD fan. i forgave you guys everything you did to us killers. i made fun of it, i never really stopped playing (until that one time where DS had its prime time, somewhere between the hag and the doctor release btw.) and i always had some hope left for this game. congratulations! you literally got me to the point where my (gigantic) love for this game cant keep up with the disappointment i have. you finally made it. after you continuously crushed my hope for balance, now you did it.i crossed the line where i cant even stand to think about playing this game. i hope you will finally realise what you did, when the majority of the old killer players (who didnt already leave) switch off to Deathgarden. Maybe. Probaply not though. Its kinda sad, that this great idea for a game had to be had by a dev team like you. people who give a huge ######### for one side of the community, but therefore spoon feed the other side.
gosh, this discussion is already tooo long...
i'ma gonna stop now. Farewell DbD! i will now experience what this so called "fun" is, that a game is supposed to bring you, so i will not see you in the fog! :D
    bye.

Maybe play survivor. Or just play civilization? That's a great game. Mat played it on one of his vacations! He told the DbD community it's a great game so ye.

  • I kinda think matchmaking got fixed today. Finding lobbies at rank 1 in like 1-3 minutes again

mots almost like they are trying to make as much money as they can while they can.

That being said I really don’t think the last patch did much, killers for some reason thought they got some amazing balance with exhaustion when really they didn’t at all, and survivors though they got it bad when again it’s not noticeable to most players at all.
just like these next PROPOSED changes, won’t be, I mean who ever uses BL 3 and apart from letting a survivor know what the other survivors are doing while hooked isn’t gonna be a huge game changer either, stopping the hook farming reward is a good change for both sides, stops crappy saves and crappy killers.

Although I agree with most of what you said, I think you are making a fatal mistake when you underestimate the power of kindred.

So many times I have wasted my time to go to the hooked person to only find that another survivor came and rescued her. It is time consuming and killer benefits from it. This is why an early hook can change the whole pacing of the game. If survivors really need this perk, just like many killers need ruin, then they can sacrifice one perk slot for that. I just can't understand how devs can give a massive buff to one side while giving no advantage to the other side.

Welcome to Dead by Daylight. The devs of this game have and will always favor the survivors, even if they had a so-called nerf in the patch before that.> @Master said:

    I think you are overreacting.

Acually it qas planed to shorten the time to reach each bloodlust stage and maps were supposed to be reworkwed

I´m not crying. I just asked a reasonable question. Since the review bombers have damaged the reviews of DbD and got themselfs buffs for it. I´m curious what´s the next step for them. Or if it´s just a "on the fly" thing to upvote or down vote a game depending on the daily mood.

You’re not asking any question, you’re simply trying to spread more toxicty by poking at said “review bombers” to initiate what I’ll assume is some sort of arguement. Grow up would you?

Balance works both ways (even though I don’t agree with some of the planned changes), you guys got pallet nerfs, exhaustion nerf, specific killer buffs, amazing perk reworks(for both sides), incoming DS nerf, etc.

DS should have been reworked right after release. Not into the OP perk it is right now. How did we get pallet nerfs? U talking about them removing one pallet or two on some maps? Stfu with that ######### will you?

I just find it hilarious that people would say "Bloodlust is USELESS", then it gets reworked and others start yelling "GIVE IT BACK". Typical split community.

It is next to useless with the amount of pallets that are in game and the amount of LOS breakers. Apart from bugs which alllow LOS breaks to happen when in sight of prey.

If you reach BL 3 its either cos you do not want to lose BL and that is your own fault or that in some cases BL 3 is actually needed to get people and yet is being nerfed even more.

I have reached BL 3 maybe 3 times in 1300 hours. Its pointless to stack. Why would anybody in their right mind leave a pallet down and not break it during a chase? I see tru3 leaving pallets all the time in favor of keeping BL.

I hvae never reached rank 1 and never will. Dont want to either. Too toxic. But if he as a rank 1 says that it could be needed i am willing to bet that with his XP its a valid concern if they attempt to take it away.

To those who say that rank 1 killer is easy i say you are full of crap and the numbers of rank 1 killers prove that most who say its easy to reach are full of crap.

Exactly! You get it! Rank 1 killers are players who know how to mindgame and kill people. Rank 21 survivors are the reason this game is unbalanced and favoured in the survivors side

We're actually good at killing survivors. It's just that there are too many windows and pallets and safe spots for survivors. Sorry that most killers are 25% or even slower than survivors in vaulting and destroying a pallet makes us lose bloodlust

The fact that it's now going into an actual PTB is. This isn't the time for killer nerfs we are still weak. This will just make us weaker.

They were mentioned months ago and killers didn't have an issue with it, now that's it's happening it's the end of the world. It's almost as if them balancing maps that everyone asked for in order for BL to be removed is a bad thing.

This also isn't a nerf if they fix the maps, how hard is that to understand if the maps are more balanced then BL isn't needed. It's almost as if each time they try and adjust killers properly to make balancing them overall better you lot whine about it as if it's a nerf.

I mean how is this any different than telling survivors who whined about the sprint nerfs to adapt and wait to see how it actually works out? Pot meet kettle since killers told survivors to wait and see how things would work out.

I'm getting pissed right now. You are saying that removing or nerfing BL is just fine if they fix the maps. But they aren't fixing the maps! They are nerfing and removing BL and MAYBE fix the maps like 3 patches after that!

  • @Noct said:
    @KillingInstinct

If you're going to post on the forums, at least use it for something constructive instead of venting and stereotyping the 'survivors' group as being at fault.

If you're a Killer main and Rank 1 Survivor (which is apparently really easy), then shouldn't you know what to do against other Rank 1 survivors as Killer? Shouldn't Killer be just as easy for you?

Just because a handful of the community has an opinion doesn't mean you should flame them -- and then bash the developers, who actually work hard to meet the criticisms of every individual, who by the way, is entitled to their own opinion about the game's development.

Is it too difficult to give an opinion without misplacing your anger within the community? Because to me it just sounds like you're a salty af Killer. No wonder the devs don't listen to you -- can't even have a reasonable discussion.

Don't give me that bull****. Trying to meet the criticism of every individual. Just be quiet with that nonsense. If it were the case ok, but no. They are always bashing on killers. That's when they got scared during the 2016 strike. Not saying we should strike again but ok.

And it's not a handful of the community! It's every single survivor from the ranks 15-1 who pallet loops. Yes, rank 15 players aren't good at mindgames and thus not pallet looping but rank 1 survs are ''good'' at it and know when to jump or keep on walking. Sometimes you get a lucky mindgame but that's it. Not sure why you're thinking that a rank 1 surv and killer has an easier time as a killer xD.

Just miss me with that bs of ''the devs are working hard for everyone'' since they are obviously not. I know that they aren't because I've been here since the start!

Bloodlust needs to go. It promotes bad killer plays and requires you to learn less. It's one of the reasons I stopped playing killers aside from killers FOV and flashlights white screen giving me migraines. I hated using BL and I would instantly lose it if I ever reached tier III, because it meant for that I did not play optimally.

Yes, maps need adjusting still and I can prolly live with BL staying until then, but once maps get balanced, it needs to go.

Also when you're hooked, you're not doing anything. It makes perfect sense exhaustion cooldown would go down when you're hooked.

100% agree. If you rely on current BL 3 to catch someone something is wrong.

Also the pallet interaction didn't feel intuitive in the PTB. Getting a hit on someone after the stun should have kicked in is no bueno.

Those changes are not a overnight reaction to some reviews. Its a general roadmap to make the game fun for both sides.

This includes more fluid animations and interactions.

But keep on going with the victim entertainment. Its pretty hilarious tbh.

victim entertainment? We're not the ones posting over 600 bad reviews when something gets nerfed xD.

Make the game more fun for both sides? You guys don't even know the word balance. You want to be the power role as survivors. U want a fun game for both sides? Then lessen pallets and balance the map with less long walls.

Give survivors rewards when escaping a chase and then going into hiding and actually losing a killer. Meaning he juked him not ran him in thousands of circles. You think running in circles is fun for killers? It's only fun for survivors and they get an ez match win. Don't talk about fun for both sides if only survivors are having fun!

While that may be true. They are first beginning with BL and not with the map balance. Killers are just getting nerfed again and it pisses me off. ''Hey! The survivor players gave us over 440 bad reviews in one day and over 650 in two days. Let's reward with buffs and killer nerfs, am I right?''

You can't possibly say that ######### is fair at all! They have to buff Brutal Strength then so we can still keep up with the survivors!

BS is fine where it is and anymore buffs would make it way too strong. There is a difference between balancing and just outstraight oping stuff. Numbers need to be treated carefully in DBD, because the multipliers are really weird, so buffing BS in numbers might just break the perk.

Balancing is nerfing and buffing on both sides. You cannot get anything right immediately. I've never seen that done in any game that XY patch was right away the perfect patch. I never said things are fair, because a lot of things are unfair in the game for both sides, but when I look at these changes I'm usually very cold towards them. They make sense to me on a rational basis.

They needed to lower BL so people can start to learn mindgames, because a lot of players are nowadays new players who never played the game with no BL, so they can get used to a different type of game and develop new strategies, because the end goal is to remove it once maps are balanced. I do believe lowering the numbers are needed before that can happen at all, even after map balance, because a ice cold removal of the feature would throw a lot of players out of the loop.

Like others points out, that change was mentioned several times in the past few weeks.

Balancing is nerfing and buffing, yes. But this game is branded as asymmetrical. It should be power vs numbers. It's power vs numbers with power right now.

A BS buff wouldn't make it OP. IT would make it how it used to be. Even if it's only up to 30%.

They should buff all killers a bit. Make MM like he used to be for example. Almost infinite stalking range and stacking EW succ speed

Survivors are also getting MASSIVE buffs.

In-built kindred, invincibility frames while being unhooked (killer will act as though they hit a hooked survivor if the survivor has not regained control after unhooking), and HOOKING REMOVES EXHAUSTION.

Chase that guy for 2 minutes after a well-time Sprint Burst and hook them?
Oh no, they're getting unhooked! * watches them mash Sprint and escape during I-Frames *
Fair and balanced, fam, especially with the speed of BL3 being nerfed by 50%.

The in-built Kindred is fair, because every action should have some sort of consequences - also camping. Invincibility frames were very much needed after being unhooked. It caused too much frustration and it used to be in the game, but it was removed for animation reasons. It wasn't even a balance reason, but animations.

BL needs to go. It's one of the reasons I stopped playing killer and I always felt like it was carrying me when I reached tier III, so I would intentionally lose it. Maps need to be balanced before it can be removed, but then it should go 100% once maps are balanced enough for both sides to work out if you play optimally. Never forget both sides need to play optimally and everyone needs to analyze their mistakes.

Maps are never going to be balanced tho. Balance would mean a decrease of pallets. I'm not talking about only 1 or 2 pallets. I'm talking about 5 or something like that. And if even one more pallet gets removed per map, survivors are gonna review bomb the game again and then get a buff

  • @Acromio said:

That bloodlust change i dont agree with. I like the idea of slower overall speed increases but that should mean bloodlust should proc faster. The original idea they had in mind was a good idea with the 12/24/36 sec for each tier. Preferably they should just balance the maps so that bloodlust is not needed since its a bandaid fix for poor map design.

With the survivor losing exhaustion on the hook its fine. Whats not fine is their POSSIBLE plan to include other status effects aswell. It would make the mangled status effect redundant. In general OP i think you are being a bit over dramatic. The devs are working to make this balanced and fair for both sides. Its not unreasonable for them to make adjustments to both sides. That is why they are pitching ideas to use and testing these things in a PTB where they can gather constructive feedback.

That's the problem! We can't test them in the PTB because there's never enough people playing so it takes over an hour to get a full lobby. There's nothing to test

I don't know why the tinkerer 2 bug isn't already fixed?! Personally I find it kind of ironic that bugs for survivors (or abusing those bugs) will result in a quick hotfix or temp bans while Killers are allowed to abuse the perk and it's just not getting fixed?

It's probably going to launch with the 2nd bloodhunt event next month.

I hope so.. I'm really sick of killer abusing that perk.. I had that like 5 times in a row.. at that point I just left/let them kill me if they had it..

Isn't it more fun to be a bit scared in a HORROR survival game?

If I wanna play a horror game, I search for a single player REAL horror game. I played this game for 2k hours now so it won't scare me EVER like it did 2 years ago... sometimes you have a little jumpscare if you jump into the killers arms but that's about it for me personally

If u wanna play a horror game u play something else? Well this game is branded as a Horror game, so a bug making it scary and making survivors look over their shoulders is pretty cool imo

They can brand the game as whatever they want, if I'm not scared by it (and oviously nobody is scared of a game after they played it 2 years) then it's not a horror game for me. ofc it was scary when I first picked it up, but as I said after 2 years (2k hours) it's just not & the TR will not change that for me personally. So yes, if I want a horror game I would take a single player game, but since I'm an easy scared person I won't do that.

survs should at least be ''afraid'' to be near the killer. That's what asymmetrical means in this game. Too bad if they try to make it like it should be, survs just bombard the game with bad reviews like last time

The problem is that we have a melee focused game here. The way the game is in it's current state, it doesn't matter where you hit the survivor, you do always the same damage. In Deathgarden your damage varies depending on where you hit the enemy (headshot) and how many bullets you actually hit.
In Dead by Daylight, the killer would deal the same damage every time, so for example let's imagine the survivor has 100 HP and a killer hit does 50HP damage. From the killers standpoint there is no way with the current hit detection that you would ever do less or more damage on the survivor. The only way that you could have these escapes with a sliver of health, in the current state of the game, would be that you could heal different amounts of HP depending on the length.
That would buff Self-Care and healing in general because why should I heal to full when I am also a two hit when I have 51HP? So, the hit detection would have to be changed so that the killer could do varying damage depending on where he would hit the survivor which may be possible but with the current hit detection we have right now, I doubt that system would work.

Basically, the whole game had to be restructured so that this would work. This would imo complicate the game unneccessarily and would require too many ressources for basically a handful of "OMG! I escaped with 1 HP"-moments. So, no thanks, I like the health system as it is now.

There's not really a problem with the melee system or the health system. Its literally only the pallet looping which ruins the game. That makes the killers camp I guess

You actually don't need to buy them tho xD They're for people like you, who want to pay money for the company xD Only buying one or two of those skins isn't that expensive so normal people don't cry about it. Maybe stop wasting your money on digital items that have no real value?

You are aware that games with numerous characters also have a wide variety of cosmetics for said characters and that people who like them will buy right? Besides like in my post they aren't entirely complaining about how much they spent but that there is no "discount" for giving so much money at once since companies typically throw in a percentage of "free" currency for buying a large bundle allowing the customer to have a little bit of padding for their next purchase. If DBD had such a thing this whole comment section probably wouldn't even exist and I probably would have bought some cells for killer cosmetics I like.

Also cosmetics are more like vanity items not entirely so the company can get money for nothing and people tend to buy way more than 1 or 2 if they really like the game it's why Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 allow you to buy cosmetics to make your characters look cool and people spend hundreds of dollars on them without a complaint. If the company wanted handouts for nothing they could have easily implemented a donation button and not set up a greedy store with no discounts.

They actually ''give'' u a ''free'' percentage of extra auric cells at some point. Look closely.

Don't compare this game to overwatch. Pls, don't. The only thing they have in common is that they're both unbalanced. Overwatch has a loot box based cosmetic system. Not a real currency based one. Sure you can also buy cosmetics with coins but u can't purchase gold coins and some skins are only purchasable with real money. DbD is the same in that way, I guess. You can buy some cosmetics with real money and some with the currency ''Iridescent shards''. These equal coins. Overwatch doesn't give you bonus loot boxes when buying the big packs btw. You basically called Blizzard a ''greedy store with no discounts'' since u think you're entitled to that, while you're only one of many cash cows.

As an avid collector in games i do enjoy the play to unlock system for unlocking the cosmetics. Also understand they do this so can offer dlc in pay to unlock system. I have never seen dbd team selfish and ussually more forthcoming in generosity. To me there the 2nd most giving company. But this auric cell item cost is insane. This move seems like a very selfish greedy move. That 300 auric cell yellow pick axe really 3$.That 1080 clown suit costs more than him at a steal of 10$. I like being able to get cosmetics and support my favourite game but a rule of thumb in all games is usuually clothing packs shouldn't be over 5$. I kinda wish this store was gone cause i expected reasonable pricing. I bought 2 full auric cell packs and got rid of all the killer cosmetics and now left with 720. When the hag cosmetic comes out won't have enough and it will definitely be auric cell only.

    HOW TO FIX

    1. Don't make cells match real prices and leave some harder math to be made then 1st grade math. Have a wierd number equal to 1$ not 108 auric cell cause all its missing is a decimal to tell you the truth.

    2. Put an optional pack where can buy the new wave of auric cell only cosmetics from the sides you choose.

    3. Price them like if you were selling them like dlc clothing. A color change should be 1$ a cool outfit 3$ and licensed outfit 5$. Would be easier to get small frys rather then whales like me.

    4. Make them all unlockable cause by the time people earn the wraith candle outfit. The next chapter will be out. With those high reaches to unlock doubt anyone without cheating could get all cosmetics unlocked fast.

    5. Make auric cells obtainable as daily thing, don't have to give much but 5 auric cells a day from playing and in 7 months can have enough for a full fledge big outfit. 10 auric cell daily and only takes 3 and half months of daily loyalty.

Please fix this system its making me cry cause i couldnt find a game to buy this month so i acted foolishly and bought a 2nd full pack hoping to have leftovers. I wish i could go back in time and stop self from buying these packs cause the outfits are great but i kinda need the money to save away more. In total spent 122$ cad and feel like a dumb blonde girl that got duped by pretty cosmetics.

You actually don't need to buy them tho xD They're for people like you, who want to pay money for the company xD Only buying one or two of those skins isn't that expensive so normal people don't cry about it. Maybe stop wasting your money on digital items that have no real value?

  • Guys this thread was about bringing back 360 juking so pallet looping stops xD Not being able to hit survivors after one 360 juke isn't a problem but if u miss more than 1 attack after the first juke then you're simply just pretty bad and need to rethink you playstyle

Yes, running is an exploit... Survivors should only be able to walk. Take out pallets all together. I also feel like the hooks should spawn in 4s so i can camp & win in no time.
Win=All 4 dead and wacked with no chance xD

    stfu xD

@RemoveSWF  Repairing gens is an exploit.

If you're gen-tapping it is, yeah.

If we listed how many exploits survivors used on a regular basis, we'd be here all day.

Lol if gen tapping is an exploit then so is dribbling. Problem is, these "exploits" (like pallet looping) are okay to the devs. So they are not actual exploits.

Dribbling got fixed because it was considered an exploit. Now you can only dribble 3 times and then the survivors escapes even without using DS

Ok and pallet looping has gotten fixed in multiple ways. Less pallets, less pallet clusters, bloodlust, no more vaccuum, survivors lost a loop. Windows have fixed, too.

Gen tapping doesn't need to be fixed because it takes much longer. I very rarely see survivors wasting their time doing it. They either power through or go find the hex (which is usually pretty easy since the killer beelines to it at the start of the match and then blames the devs when survivors find the hex in a minute).

Pallet looping has not been fixed at all. Those were band-aid fixes like the Wraith ''buff'' where he can see blood more clearly when invisible thus not needing his own teachable perk ''Bloodhound''.

Pallets were lessened by like 2 and windows have kind of been fixed except if there's a pallet or a jungle gym right next to it. Even T walls might counter the windows ''fix''

360 is an exploit, not a juke. Should've been removed altogether.

basically, pallet looping is a hitbox exploit in that case don't u think?

  • @Master said:
360ing is even worse than pallets if you ask me. It should not possible in the game and I always facepalm when survivors talk about "juking" in their montages.

I miss the old days when you actually juked the killer by breakign LOS, taking advantage of your 3rd person view.
Nowadays, you abuse 3rd person to loop the killer like an idiot and "juke" him with a 360 abuse of hitbox when he comes to close.

    just sad in my eyes.....

you do realize that 360 juking doesn't work anymore right? Or is at least harder... if u get juked by survivors right now then you just have to work on your killer gameplay

    Hello everyone!

I as a killer main would like so see pallets being reduced. I want to see more skill in this game and have a question, Why was 360 juking removed or nerfed? Did something happen to it making it harder or impossible right?

I would like to see 360 juking again. It was a fun skill people could have and it wasn't buggy and it was playable. I'm pretty sure that reiterating 360 juking would mean a lot to survivors and give them actual means of escape without getting toxic killers in the after-chat. 360 juking means getting a ''wp man. Nice jukes'' in the after-chat

Pallets have already been reduced and 360's were too easy to pull of before.
The devs are trying to make the game as we want it to be and recently they've been taking advice from the community itself.

pallets were ''reduced'' like one year or maybe a ½ year ago but there's still too many. When I tried to do the 360 jukes I couldn't pull them off. Now I can. They should make them easier again so people who show interest and try to find out stuff on how to play the game can learn these things. I never thought they were broken or something since they sometimes only worked on me when there were actual pro players. It just gives people a nice advantage over other people, which is nice and not frustrating

  • Hex overpowered? Just tap your mouse button and u won't get a skill check and the repair speed is basically the same xd. We have to be lucky to even have it for 30 seconds since most of the time the survivors spawns right next to it

Oh poor sally, still complaining and asking for nerfs, so cute, don't worry, they'll come and maybe, just maybe your hurt killer soul will be pleased, don't lose hope

So you think i'm complaining huh? I'm only stating that after the ds nerfs happen, insta heals should be addressed next. Surely even you can see how powerful they are?

They are indeed, but it's common sense to stop posting this kind of threads when you know it's goin' to happen because as you already know, there are survivors (including me) who are fed up with 'nerf this, nerf that' kind of threads, in the last days i've seen numerous threads trying to flame the survivors, not gonna list them, but you can look them up, there's plenty of' em

There's plenty of them for a reason tho. I don't know how long you've been around but survivors have gotten their way all this time and finally, killers are getting a few buffs. Survivors are the reason Freddy is in the dump because they were too lazy to adapt! Like they have always been.

Myers used to be able to stack the evil within gathering when there were multiple people in front of him and his stalking range was like 2x or 3x the current range. But adapting is very hard for survivors so I get it. Let killers adapt instead right?

  • Guys just stop with the pissing off each other. Let's just leave this thread now since no one cares about pallet looping apparently xD

Why is there even a report system? Why can people cheat and practically the shove the evidence down your throats yet you do nothing about it? Why can people say the most disgusting and horrible things you could possibly say to another human being and nothing gets about it? Why is it okay to tell somebody to find a hole to crawl into and off themselves? Just look at the reviews it's not a secret this community has a reputation for being one of the most toxic of all time. YT even has channels dedicated to hacking in DBD some even taunting/daring the devs to do something about it for about a year now in some cases yet...nothing. Why do you guys pretend these problems don't exist? Why do you never discuss them in streams? I am just curious to see if there are any devs out there willing to provide some kind of explanation as to why?

If I have to be honest. In my Dead by Daylight playtime (since release) I have only encountered one hacker, AT MOST. I don't know if I had more hackers but if I did, then they all sucked :D. But hackers always suck so they are out -playable. Except if it's a tier 3 Myers with 300% speed or some ######### like that. You're bound to get raped.

I've had one survivor who was always faster. Know what I did when I caught him for the first time. I let him almost bleed out and then mori'd him. (you used to be able to mori someone without the need of a hook)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP1Tp-XNGJY there's literally channels dedicated to hacking in this game you're being a little ignorant about the hacking problem buddy it's very real!

I know it exists xD Every game has hackers. But it's not as many as you guys tend to say. You think 20% of players are hackers probably :D

    Don't call me ignorant btw

Well based on what you said it came across ignorant. Words mean things...

I watched the guy. He's pretty hilarious for the fact that he's sometimes even trying to get banned

    xD just be quiet buddy

  • I use it on Myers xD I am a good killer but since survivors know how to pallet loop at rank 1 and gens fly by like there's no tomorrow and NO ONE expects it hahaha. That's the funniest part. It nice when survivors stay in the game while Noed is one with BloodWarden
