It is funny how survivors call any killer thats hard to go against. boring e.g. Nurse, spirit, deathslinger and now hag.
Hags are rare, and a good hag is as rare as they come, just enjoy the game and learn.
I see both sides calling hag boring. Maybe because her power is non interactive.

Flat out no.

Very Competitive.
If I'm playing a video game, I want to get better at it.

I'd rather play against a forever freddy than a stridor spirit if I'm gonna be honest.

Spirit easy to master? Shes strong but shes one of the harder killer and i dont get why everyones saying shes easy. I am better with nurse than with stridor spirit. ON CONSOLE!
Maybe it’s just you if you aren’t getting the hang of stridor spirit.

I know their gonna brutally murder the exhaustion one because survivors can't live without their exhaustion perks for 90 seconds. It's a anti dead hard.
Or maybe because exhaustion wasn’t as broken as it used to be, there’s no reason for them to exist in DBD now.
-
No, too much things already inflict exhaustion.

No. Both have counterplay.
Spine Chill doesn’t really have counterplay, but it’s not worthy of a ban.

So, what you're saying is, you just want a button to outplay a good Spirit rather than actually developing the skill to outplay a Spirit yourself??
And yes, I'm completely serious. Quick & Quiet, and Dance with Me are things, y'know?
I’m not running two perks to counter one killer.

Because it was pretty good and close game and fair but then 2 people got out because of and item they found.
Yea I know they're getting nerfed but the devs are taking their sweet time doing it.
As if devs haven't taken their sweet time changing anything that was busted. See how long its taking them to nerf iri head?

Survivors shouldn't have keys to completely bypass their objective, makes you wonder why in the world we put gens in the game if they can just find a key for an ez escape.
What do you mean bypass. Keys fulfill their objective by escaping, same with moris help the killer with killing.

Hello everyone! This is my first post but I go on these forums everyday, play all platforms, and have been playing since about release back in 2016. A problem I've always had is that when playing at night I face a plethora of cheaters (especially when I play console) and I know how to stomp cheaters pretty easily when they get cocky since I play erractily and make questionable decisions, but besides reporting I am still unsure as to what to do when someone shuts off my wifi or something like that. Is this common for other players to face nonsense like this every 50 games or so? Straight up under the floor or super fast hackers are annoying but there are methods to deal with them. Is there any advice on how to not have people get super upset and straight up kick me from games? I dont really camp tunnel or slug unless needed and I try to let everyone have a good time since I don't play for BP or rank, just fun.
If you are 100% sure someone is DDOSSing you, report it to the police.
-
It's an okay perk. It definitely isn't a meta perk though.

I don't think I agree. I feel their is nothing wrong with creating bad perks on their own. They are making perks that synergize great with other perks to encourage survivors to try new things.
Yeah, but when devs make perks that they want to synergize well together usually take up all four perk slots, or are too situational.

I understand that, but killer's meta perks had changed a lot since the last year for example. Undyin + ruin, CI + pop, etc.
But all you have to do as surv is use 2+ SC perks without really chaning anything.
I agree, the killer meta seems to be constantly changing. But from what I've seen. It's mostly popular content creators that influence other killers into using perks and seeing how good they actually are.
-
Because those perks are the meta.
Survivor meta has been the same since the beginning of the game, because the new perks the devs create have been subpar or bad.

Learn to mind-game then. You can crouch, you can hide in lockers, you can fast-vault windows and slow-vault back through, you can drop pallets... seriously, how much more do you want??
Those really only work against bad spirits. And hiding in a locker? Are you kidding me.

Which is the irony in all this because Nurse stomps all over Spirit, how that person can say Nurse didn't need a nerf the first time is beyond me. She's the only killer in the game that can ever be considered overpowered.
I see low ranks get destroyed by Freddy in 10 second chases but that doesn't mean that in the grand scheme of things he's overpowered.
I think it's because of how hard it is to be good at nurse which is why some people think she's balanced.
If everyone was good at nurse EVERYONE would be complaining about her.

It doesn't take long to notice the elephant of all perks on either side: BBQ. A pay-to-win perk on a licensed DLC. Used on every killer for the tremendous advantage and value. This perk is literally spammed in every game. It should be a HEX perk or nerfed to lose the aura reading.
BBQ was released when survivors were much stronger along with maps. Maps were also easier to hide. Survivor perks are always nerfed only when considered being used on a good SWF. The same logic and fair balancing should apply to killers. To beat a good killer you must work on gens for every second possible. You cannot spend your entire match looking and hiding in lockers because the killer will have a huge upper hand as this is the only counterplay provided to stop the aura. He most likely has Ruin so the gen is losing progress when you leave it. Too much advantage for a perk.
There is another reason why being a HEX would be an excellent change to BBQ. A killer that camps can still be awarded BBQ stacks if he uses NOED or when saves occur. He is awarded for the thing the perk was originally designed to prevent in the first place! If the perk is a HEX perk the killer will be in a race to hook as many different survivors as possible before the totem is destroyed. This will create pressure on the killer to guard totems, gens, and hook survivors in the process instead of camping and being awarded for it with a perk.
If it is not a HEX perk it needs to lose the aura reading because it gives too much value for one perk alone. This perk has been overpowered and abused by high mobility killers way too long.
Come on, we're better than this.

I do actually agree even though I was the creator of the post. I seriously have no issue with spirit. Just every survivor I hear says "no counter play to spirit". Yes there is...It doesn't take a genius to understand spirit can't see while phasing. So, run perks which decrease scratch marks. All the survivors are on this post, not a single one has played enough games and used enough perks.
I shouldn't be running perks to counter a killer. BTW using perks isn't counterplay.

But you first said, "It's not a race issue," and I'm saying it's not solely one. There are many factors at play, and lists like this are a problem and before posting one, a person should have better sense about what they're trying to communicate.
This game has a problem with killers deliberately going after and trolling marginalized community characters (it was recently mentioned a lot before the chapter update with LGBT+ character rumors), and things like this do not help.
I won't say that killers deliberately going for characters part of marginalized communities isn't a problem because it most certainly is. But tell me, when was the last time a killer threw the match just to kill you because the character you're playing is part of a marginalized community.

He's not even a real kpop artist tho, I truly don't get this fascination with Kpop, it's a bad immitation of american pop ideas from the 2000's, the lyrics often sound like they were written for some generic anime (which is also culturally oversaturated at this point, imo) and many of those groups are basically indentured servants.
Supportingthat infrastructure is like Disney filming in China while Weger muslims are being forced into labor camps and having their wives sterilized the next town over from production.
Are you okay?

Women of color. Intersectionality matters.
Did I not say women of color in my comment? Also intersectionality does matter, but this is just a tier list based on who they find to be the most toxic. I don't understand what you're trying to get at.

Hmm, a lot of women of color near the top of your list...I think you're telling on yourself...
This has nothing to do with race. Also, it could appear like that because there's more woc than white women.

I'm really confused on what you're trying to get across.

As I thought, it’s the Angry Pug army of suck ups commenting and yes ofc I can break pallets and yes I was playing Oni and could’ve 4k but I prefer to 12 hook and not play pallet simulator with brainless survivors.
Yes, this map is very killer sided, that’s why I haven’t lost a game on this map out of my last 20 because the saloon is so weak for survivors, especially if killer hasn’t spawned in the saloon and survivors run up the stairs, loop the window and head towards right, very very weak saloon loop.
So what was the point of making the post. Also what does Angrypug have to do with people responding to you.
-
To be fair, you're playing Oni on one of the smallest maps in the game. On top of that every loop on the Saloon is dogshit, so I really don't know why you're complaining.

I appreciate that they’re trying to do something different with this killer, but he still isn’t my cup of tea, either. Trickster is a poor choice for his character and I don’t really see how his knife flinging fits with his backstory. He should shoot flames or something if he burned his bandmates alive.
The knives were a skill he was taught as a kid.

" The ability to use the perk in general"
Such a broad statement.
Do you mean how often they can use it (how much value they get out of it).
Do you mean how they use it?
What do you mean by that. It's such a broad statement that you could get a load of things off it.
Be more concise with your language pal,and put your point across better.
When I said the ability to use the perk in general, I mean the conditions in order to do what the perk says.

Then there is a lot of perks that can be skillfull.
Holding Ds against an unsuspecting killer can be detrimental to them later. That takes skill.
Same as prioritising survivors for stbfl.
They all have skill- but it's situational usually.
It sucks but there you go.
Most perks alone dont take inherent skill, but if used correctly and effectively can be very skillful.
Sorry, but you and plenty of other survivors out there saying killer perks take no skill means survivor perks take no skill.
They both take the same amount of skill.
Before I get bombarded with "killer main", i play both survivor and killer 50-50 (maybe 60-40 at most leaning killer side)
Reread what I said.

This all depends on your definition of skill,
What survivor perks take skill?
And I bet I can use a similar argument to say killer perks take skill if you can use one niche argument to say survivors perks take skill.
If your going to say no perks inherently take skill but they can be used skillfully I'd agree, but this can be said the same on boths sides.
For stbfl- they actually have to land hits on the other survivors and will lose stacks when hitting the obsession
Im not talking about using the perk efficiently, I'm talking about the ability to just use the perk in general.

I wouldn’t take these things to the heart. Its the internet and people don’t give a crap about being respectful/non-discriminatory.
You have no idea how many times I’ve been called the N word and treated like crap for being a female on a game. I just giggle and go about my day. Pisses them off every time.
I was referring to situations that are taking place in real life. I know that you shouldn't take things you see on the internet personally.

Bahahaha I love it. The sprint burst justification says it all. No offence but the posts I have seen from you so far give off the indication that you’re a fairly casual player of games in general who doesn’t understand how balance or skill works in videogames. Developers and designers can be bad too you know, not everything is balanced just because it’s in the game.
Also no sweetie I am not low rank nor do I face bad killers. I’ve played this game for years and gone against the best of the best. That’s how I learned how to hold my own in a chase, years of practise. At some point you learn to last long enough consistently that you can take off the training wheels. It’s understandable though if you’re not there yet and need the game to hand you your first pallet for free as a bit of a head start.
You’ve been playing this game for years yet you still face camp survivors with leather face just for playing the game?
Also, based on what you’re saying about SB I’m assuming you think it’s broken which is sad.
