I’m afraid I can’t help you then. I don’t have a bad ass. I have a great one.
Sure, let's go with that🤔

Let's just say.. I was doing a gen in the cornfield on Coldwind Farm..
..until a tinkerer Bubba came along..

I'll dodge the lobby, because a key is something the killer cannot ignore if they want to win the game and makes it miserable for both sides. So if they bring a key, it's either because they found one or did a last second switch.
Either way, they're getting tunnelled or face camped out of the game ASAP. You want to pick up an item and basically tell me ''Hey, I want to end the match early'' then I'm happy to deliver an early end for you.
Well said my friend👏🏻

Hey I help my team all the time.
Borrow time. Mettle of man.
I don't doubt that Ash players are good teammates, but they're annoying to play against. Just my 2 cents.

Honestly I hate Dwights. A lot of toxic people use him and I’ve had really bad experiences both as killer and survivor with them. I do still love Bills and Ash Mains though. Ash mains are also very helpful and sacrificing for their teammates.
That's too bad, you're missing out on the Dweet experience. It's ironic that you say that because Ash mains are always arrogant little f*ckers whenever I go against them lol
-
Your friends need to wake up and smell the - or experience the pallet being slammed down on their face over and over again when playing killer on that map. It's absolutely ridiculous and whoever thought it was a good idea to have that many pallets in one map should be fired, especially since a LOT of them are god pallets.
-
Bills are definitely the most altruistic teammates out there & will almost always sacrifice themselves for you in the endgame, atleast in my experience. But I will say that they are usually terrible loopers and end up mindgaming themselves lol
Though, I tend to have a soft spot for Dweets instead, particularly with the default clothes or the Dwight-in-a-Box cosmetic. Even if the Dweet is toxic, I still can't help but think they're just the cutest little things. Can't say the same for bald Dwights/Dweards though, such *ssholes.

I'll always stealth. It's the doctor? Well time to just keep distance, even if I get static'd I can just sneak away if he's not using restraint.
The oni? Pretty much the same thing really except that he doesn't have extra effects from madness.
The legion though, ######### the legion.
On my early days of DBD, it took me so long to realize Legion can see where you are if you're in close range of a survivor that was hit by his Frenzy.
How the hell did he know I went into the locker??!
-
I'm going to swap out a few of these guys for my own streamers as I tend not to watch the majority of these:
- 1: Otzdarva - I'd definitely say Otz is the most educational DBD streamer out there as he is constantly teaching others new things about the game, whether that be mid-stream or from hours of long videos on YouTube discussing specific aspects of the game. Not to mention, he's just wholesome overall and has inspired many people.
- 2: Puppers - While I wouldn't say Puppers is the most educational, he has a great personality and is almost always cracking jokes and making people smile, including myself. It breaks my heart that he's suffering from ALS.
- 3: Tru3Ta1ent - I might get a bit of hate from this considering the recent turmoil with this streamer on the forums lately, but I like Tru3 mainly because he's actively speaking his mind on what he thinks is best for the game, even if you don't agree with it. Not to mention, he's a pretty good killer and does donation builds which are always fun to watch (especially No-Mither, he hates that perk lol).
- 4: Monto - This is self explanatory if you've ever watched him. He's full of meme energy and there's no way you'll go through one of his videos without laughing, whether that be because of his personality or his edits. Oh yeah, he's friends with Puppers. I love seeing those 2 collab.
- 5: Umbra - I don't watch her near as much as the other streamers I've listed, but she's very good with almost every single killer and does it at ease. Whenever I play killer, I'm on the edge of my seat, but her? She's as chill as ever, and it honestly amazes me.
-
Urban Evasion is great if you know when to use it. Because of this, Urban Evasion usually gets a bad rep as most people use it when it isn't necessary at all.
If the killer is around or you're actively dodging hatchets against a Huntress with it, that's great. But Urban Evading when the killer is camping across the map/letting a teammate hit 2nd hook instead of preserving time by running is just absurd.
-
I love seeing how people stereotype survivors/killers as everybody's experiences are usually different. With that being said, I agreed with a lot of yours and have a few of my own:
Here's my top 3 to save time:
- Bill: One of the most wholesome teammates you'll ever have in terms of altruism. These players almost always have Borrowed Time and are willing to sacrifice themselves for you in the endgame. Though, they are terrible in chase and usually end up mindgaming themselves into a down.
- Nea: Nightmare for the killer, lifesaver as a teammate. I'd say Nea players are known for chasing the killer around with bright cosmetics and a flashlight most of the time, with a BM in their back-pocket. They'll almost always save you with a flashlight but will also ultimately throw the game by never doing gens.
- Adam: Adam players are an interesting species as we almost never see them, but when we do, they tend to make questionable decisions. Despite being one of the biggest character models in the game, they always try to hide behind a tree and think they are stealth masters. They're also known to be rats with them leading the killer to you/pointing at your locker, along with them using Deliverance in the killers face without DS.
-
It ultimately depends on how I think said teammate played & acted that game. Here's what I mean:
I'll let go & give you a chance if:
- If I know you're on top of/looking for hatch/running from the killer and you were a teammate who tried their best and played to the best of your ability, I don't have a problem with letting go. Even if you went down in 2 seconds, atleast you were trying.
I'll hold on & hope the killer catches you if:
- You were the opposite as said above, a crappy teammate who didn't care about anyone other than yourself. This can range from sandbagging someone, letting others hit 2nd hook on purpose, leading the killer to others as well as being too stealthy, etc.
Just be considerate of others and sure enough others will be considerate of you.
-
I cannot believe you've even thought about, let alone went through with facecamping a Dweet. How could you corrupt something so pure :(
Can't say the same for the bald Dwights/Dweards (bearded Dwights). Those guys are almost always *ssholes.

@Karao_Ke Ah yes, tiny desk Trapper, what can go wrong.
And correct me if I'm wrong but I remember seeing on this one convention tour or something along those lines and there seemed to be a Spirit statue prototype, I can't remember what it was but it looked liked Spirit.
Oh and just imagine if they had a set that you could create your own loops or build one of the pre existing loops in the game, or even have a main building, like there's a lot they can do.
And if they want to they can even have some survivor figures, which would also be pretty cool, along with gen props, tool boxes, hooks, etc.
I haven't heard about the Spirit prototype so I wouldn't know, but I will say Etsy sometimes has people custom-making stuff for DBD, with Spirit in particular here:
* Please visit my insta Demoona for more photos and video of this figurine. Rin Yamaoka - the Spirit. The most mysterious, beautiful and expressive killer in Dead by daylight universe. She reminds me some restless soul of a girl from “the Grudge”, “the Ring” and “One missed call” movies. But herAs for the prop setups, the idea sounds great and it honestly reminds me of Hot Wheels as you could create your own track. I'd love to build a small TL scene, how cool would that be?
Even if it has to be Legos.. just give us something

@Karao_Ke I think they have Wraith and maybe even Hillbilly on BigBadtoystore, I'll leave a link.
https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Search?SearchText=Dead+By+Daylight
So it turns out Wraith actually sold out actually, and I could see why.
Definitely a lot of detail. I hope these statues do well so they might consider doing more in the future, for different killers.
They also have a Trapper Nendoroid if you're interested, can never go wrong with one of those lol
-
They have 2 Trapper and 2 Hillbilly statues up for pre-order right now, differing in price depending on what you want.
As for Wraith, they did have him, but I believe the pre-order time slot either expired or got filled up. He could be available on another website though, you never know.
I'd personally be the most excited for Oni :]
-
The idea wasn't bad, though the execution was terrible, especially on reworked maps.
While it sometimes can be used as a strat to create different loops and such, it also just ends up wasting the killers time and will be infinite loops if the killers refuse to break them.
-
I've always been interested in having a few figures for specific franchises I like, whether that be a videogame, anime, etc.
With that being said, I'd love for this to happen as there isn't many options for Dead By Daylight collectibles right now.
Though I will say.. this Trapper statue is sick and I've been debating on getting it (because the price-tag is a bit over my "budget" lol): https://www.sideshow.com/collectibles/dead-by-daylight-the-trapper-gecco-co-905809
-
While I love the personality the devs have put into The Trickster (winks at the player, laughs mid-chase, cool mori & locker animations, etc), I think I'm safe to say he's considerably weak and is in need of some type of buff/and or change.
With that being said, while he might be a bit fun to play at first, it's going to eventually get frustrating playing him with how counterable he is, therefore I'm not that excited.
-
Playing stealthy can be executed against pretty much any killer that isn't a Doctor or an Oni with Infectious Fright. Though I will say, playing "too stealthy" can definitely end up sabotaging your team.
Don't want to commit to a gen because you're on last hook, so you crouch away? Great, get back on it after the killer starts chasing me.
Blowed up a gen so you crouch away and let your teammate(s) take the blame? So be it, but you're eventually going to get everyone else killed playing like that.
-
I couldn't see how they would nerf Dead Hard considering it doesn't work half of the time.
I swapped it for another exhaustion perk a week ago. It's too unreliable, especially since I'm on console with terrible frames that'll lag me when I try to use it.

I know he isn’t that good but he’s still a decent killer. Without rat liver he is garbage though
It sucks because he's one of the killers in the game with the most personality imo despite it hurting him (so many sound cues).

What’s boring about him? Shredding is very fun at tiles and portals give him tracking and mobility
Only killer who needs a full rework is nurse
Demo is a mediocre killer at best with practically every other killer outperforming him in terms of abilities. @Pulsar is right, why play Demo when we have other killers?
To put into a brief reasoning, Demo isn't stealthy (like he should be with portals nearby) nor is he unpredictable:
- His shred is one of the easiest countered things in the game with it being VERY similar to Billy's sprint except it doesn't 1-shot you.
- His portals don't work if the survivor has half a brain with any type of map awareness/sound. Not to mention, he *of course* makes an audio cue when he teleports through one.
- He broadcasts every single action he does to the entire map. Hit somebody? RAAAAA! Miss an attack? (idk how to describe this sound) Pallet stunned? *whistle sound*. This is a huge disadvantage.
I'm sorry, but it makes sense as to why others don't like to play Demo much. Sure, there are some hardcore fans out there that just want to play Demo because he's Demo, but that's as much as you'll usually get. Almost every single Demo I've gone against has lost, and it wasn't even a close game.

Just give me a ######### gun and everyone is D tier.
Any ranged killer would still be a threat. I'd like to see you try to out-aim Deathslinger :]
-
I'd say this is mine, with Clown being in a generous spot.
-
While dynamic gameplay wouldn't be a bad choice, I definitely think that new modes would be the better option to go in terms of keeping the game "fresh". If people are worried about queue times for this sort of thing, the new modes can be limited time events, whether that be holidays-only or 1-2 days out of the week.
Not to mention, new objectives for survivors would not only make their gameplay more diverse with it being more than just M1 simulator, but it would also help killers out in terms of slowing down the game.
-
I personally like to think that purple ranks is the sweet spot given the fact that you usually don't curb-stomp nor do you get curb-stomped.
This rank usually leaves opportunities to meme around and just overall not be as serious & competitive. I like the idea of relaxing in my chair instead of being on the edge of it for the entire game.
(Though I will say that I thoroughly enjoy red ranks as survivor and that this choice I made was more directed for when I play killer.)
-
@chadbeastofprey said:
yeah it's definitely just the survivors who make killers toxic and it's not both making eachother toxic definitely.
It wasn't implied that killers aren't as toxic. Just because he sees more survivor toxicity doesn't mean he's dismissing killer toxicity.
-
Don't give these people the reaction they're trying to get out of you. They've obviously lost and feel the need to talk down on somebody else to justify it.
Best thing you can do is continue to play who you want, how you want, whenever you want because after all, the game wouldn't be here in the first place without killers.
-
Not taking advantage of his Demon Dash by catching others out-positioned is most definitely handicapping yourself as that is one of Oni's best tactics.
If you're just activating his power at loops, against good players, you are setting yourself up to waste the entirety of it. It's very easy to dodge a charged Demon Strike, especially at a loop.

How would you feel if they increased his absorption movement speed to 95%?
That'd be interesting & a lot more viable imo.
-
While it's not a bad idea and would definitely help him out a bit, I'm mixed because considering Oni is already strong when in the right hands, I don't deem at as important/a priority and would be just fine if the addon kept that purpose instead of it practically being basekit. I'd like to see something improved for his M1 self instead.
-
Up here in red-ranks, all you'll get is stand-still Spirits & Deathslingers, so I wouldn't say it gets better. Though, I do know that Bubba has plenty of counters and since you play against him so much, should learn to start doing. Here's a few I can think of:
- Vaults: In an open map, jungle gyms & just about any type of building is your best friend given the fact that there are lots of vault options for you to take advantage of. This is one of Bubbas worst things to go against because instead of using his power to one-shot you, he'll have to M1 you instead which opens up even more possibilities, such as Dead Hard.
- Looping tightly: If you're out-positioned/in doubt, just try and loop around something as tight as you can, whether it's a tree or a regular pallet loop. This is a gamble because if the Bubba is decent, he'll most likely get you, but given the fact that you're in green ranks, I'd say he's a lot more likely to mess up.
- Keep-going: This is one of my favorite tips to give to somebody when going against a Bubba as 90% of the Bubbas I encounter tend to fall for this, and that's to keep going. Instead of throwing down the pallet instantly as soon as he starts revving, keep looping around it as he'll almost always respect it in order to not get stunned. This way, he'll run out of charges and either be forced to M1 you or waste even more time trying to get you with his chainsaw. Now if he doesn't respect the pallet, keep that in mind for the next time he chases you and just work on pallet stunning him at the right time.
- Be aware: This is an obvious one, but being out-positioned is the worst thing that can happen to you when going against a Bubba. Look around constantly and instead of doing the gen in the middle of a deadzone, do one in the jungle-gym instead. Just make sure you have some type of plan/and resources for when he gets there. Oh yeah, if someone recently got hooked in the basement and you don't see/or hear Bubba for the rest of the match, don't go down there lol.
- Last but not least.. SPRINT BURST!: I cannot tell you how much I love this perk against Bubba as it almost always guarantees an escape given he never chases me when he sees that I have it. I know it's unfortunate to take up an entire perk slot just for one killer, but since you go against him so often, I don't see the problem. If you're doing a gen that is out-positioned and have Sprint Burst, you'll be able to make it to a pallet loop/jungle gym easy. It's just an amazing perk overall.
-
I'd say Oni for obvious reasons:
Us: *Eats food, talks*
Waiter: *Hands him the bill*
Oni: RAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! *Bonks waiter in the head with Kanabo*
Then I'd probably go with either Dwight or Kate because they're just sweethearts.
-
@Pirate said:
And 1000 new bugs ... no thank you.
That's the point. A nostalgic trip back to *god* loops and many of the game-breaking bugs that used to be around back then (and could still be around bc BHVR lol).
-
@th3 said:
Why void a match because one side brings an item which is popular to complain about. The whole point is both sides can bring unfair stuff so I don’t like the idea of canceling a match because right now killers can’t handle keys.
Killers can't handle keys because they usually give a free-escape to what would've been a 4K. It's frustrating to deal with.
Moris aren't comparable with keys anymore ever since the nerf, and a lot of instadown/exhaustion addons have either been taken away or are getting reworked. I don't see much unfairness that killers can bring.
-
So you're telling me they removed the one way to get any type of chase points for when the killer is AFK.. but won't actually fix AFKness itself.
Yup. That's BHVR for ya.
-
If a killer got bullied all game with little-to-no hooks or any progress at all for that matter, let him have a chance at SOME bloodpoints/pips without you running to the forums crying about it.
Sorry to break it to you, but if you played killer and got absolutely demolished, I highly doubt you're just going to accept it and watch the survivors escape. Just because the game is coming to a close doesn't mean the killer still isn't trying, and at that point, camping is the only way he'll be able to secure a kill unless the survivors ultimately f*ck up.
Now if the killer does this at the beginning of a match, that's a different story.
-
Considering Oni has to rely on getting hits as quickly as possible in the beginning of a match just to not be an M1 killer as well as knowing how to use his Blood Fury correctly (ex. flicks), I'd say it's because he's frustrating to learn.
Don't test your luck though, keep saying stuff like that and you'll be getting out-positioned by Minotaur Oni's for the rest of your days on DBD.
Scary.
-
I'll play to win more often than not but won't hesitate on the chance to meme around and farm every once n awhile.
Now, I will say that playing to win doesn't necessarily mean I'm a sweaty competitor, but rather someone trying to improve their gameplay. I feel like once you become too competitive, that's when you start to get angry when you lose/someone taunts you/trash-talks you. Just enjoy the game for what it is.
-
@Miles said:

to be fair, Spine Chill is a pretty good perk overall.
Yeah, that's the problem. It's like Dead Hard, you rely on it so much.
-
He's one of those killers you play to have fun with rather than dominate with. Take Legion & Wraith for example. I see these two killers lose in 95% of my matches (red ranks) yet people still play them semi-often.
At the end of the day, some people aren't as competitive as others and are willing to risk losing due to a weak kit as long as they have fun. He may look silly, but I cannot wait to play this guy despite his oh-so-obvious flaws.

FNAF is targeted towards kids. The books are published by a children's book publisher (scholastic), sold at elementary school book fairs and in children's (not teen) section of book shops. They sell merchandise targeted towards kids like bedsheets, birthday party supplies, and school supplies. While there are fans that have grown up fnaf is still bringing in plenty of new fans that are kids since they are targeted towards kids. I mean, even in your argument "kids that played the first game have now grown up" - every time someone is arguing it's not a kids game they say it's game from their CHILDhood or that the KIDS that played first game have grown up. 😂
Adults can enjoy things that are made for kids, especially things they enjoyed while as a kid. I still watch Animaniacs and at cons I see more adults in line to meet the voice actors than kids, doesn't make Animaniacs an adult show because the original fans are older. I enjoy Scooby Doo, it'd fit into DBD as much as FNAF, doesn't make it an adult show.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1974808#Comment_1974808
GTA is targeted towards adults, FNAF is targeted towards kids (see above). There's also kids already playing DBD, there would just be more if a franchise targeted towards kids was added.
While I understand where you're coming from, FNAF's early games & franchise in general did not start out with the target audience being children, but instead was eventually catered towards them simply because they made up more than half of the playerbase after YouTubers & such glorified it.
Do I think it's dominated by children as of today? Definitely. Doesn't take away from the fact that it wasn't originally intended to be though.

Even as a SWF we never say "The Killer picked me up". It's pretty damn obvious with the Aura disappearing.
Now, I didn't realize that the bar blinking when a Survivor is being healed by another Survivor was a thing, and that could be improved upon visually with a Hunched over Icon rather than such a miniscule detail.
If I know the killer has BBQ & they down someone, I usually scrambled to a nearby locker & relied on the blinking bar to know when they've gotten picked up (prevents myself from getting AFK birds).
-
50k isn't even enough to get me through 1 bloodweb most of the time, how generous.
-
asking for a shape-shifting killer with dbd's spaghetti code is just asking for trouble.
-
Unfortunately people feel the need to sh*t on newer players in exchange of an ego boost.
Don't let it get to you & just keep pushing further because that's how you gain experience, and experience grants you wins.

My 13 year old nephew has been playing the games and reading the books since he was 9/10 along with his group of friends. No nightmares but plenty of FNAF themed bday parties. 😂
Just because kids play it, doesn't mean it's a kids game. Look at GTA V for example, more than half of the lobbies are lil squeakers.
