EGC should simply start after last gen.

1. No they should just visual show a crow notification without sound at that point.
2.) Yes, why not? They faceplant and eat the ground anyway. Make dcing interesting at least. Would stop dc to prevent egc kill.
3.) Yes some form but no for the sacrifice points.

There's a huge issues with the first one: That is going to massively skew the stats. People aren't going to disconnect if they doing well, but as we all know, there are many people who will disconnect the instant they go down. If you exclude matches where anybody disconnects, you're excluding matches where someone does poorly and rage quits and only focusing on ones where the survivors do well.
We can only do so much when providing stats, and any time you exclude things the stats get more skewed. This is why we give general stats rather than picking and choosing what to include. This is why we recommend not drawing any conclusions based on stats alone.
The other two we could possibly look into if we release stats again, though.
People are looking for certain things to be excluded because they are not a normal match. The game defines a match as 4v1 to the end. Not 4v1 -> 2v1 due to dcs. Some of these stats also included games that were not fully prepared from the start ie 2v1 1v1 etc. They are outliers in the statistics which skew them to be more balanced than they really are. For example the mean of the following 5 numbers: 1, 5, 3, 2, 200 the average of the number is 42.2 with a standard deviation of ~88.225 which is extremely high in value due to the 200 as an outlier. Similar to how games with instant dcs or suicides heavily skew the game in favor of the killer. These games are not in anyway accurate to be involved with actual intended matches. You guys ban for multiple dcs when ban waves go out. So this is clearly not 'normal' as far as the game developers/team/whatever defines it. Which means it should not be counted in statistics anyway.

I noticed a generator overheating thread. Which I think would be neat it would make you have to work on multiple gens and rushing gens would actually lock you out of being able to work on a particular gen reducing your progress. Almost like an entity window blocker on a gen. However, during a generator lock-down by the entity the killer should not be able to kick or interact with the generator to regress it. Almost like a gen-save state. However this should only trigger until there is one gen left to complete.
-
From my experience I find survivors are heavily more toxic. I have yet to find a killer two days later add me on steam to tell me to kill myself, or hope I die in some tragic accident. Do I agree both sides can be toxic yes. Do I believe the 4v1 situation no. Most of the toxic survivors of the community are low-rank as killer swf teams.

If they are making no attempt to down anyone and purely stalling the game by keeping everyone in madness 3, only downing and slugging them if they refuse to move, that would be considered holding the game hostage. We would need to see that they are doing this for a long time, though, not just a couple minutes. The 3 gen strat on its own is not bannable, it only become an issue when it's being used to grief instead of win.
I have also seen this from the survivors side that they will tend to play hide-and-seek once they realize they have lost to a 3-gen. At this point I do believe in many cases you are wrong. Why chase someone across the map away from what as killer you are suppose to protect? It is illogical yes I am gonna chase you all the way across azarovs and leave the gens unprotected to try and get your kill. However, I have beaten and have been beaten over how a 3-gen was played or positioned as both survivor and killer. This is a design flaw and a survivor flaw. If a killer is protecting three specific gens and your team is alive even if you lose a few hooks to get one of those gens done you save yourself late game. That or rush the other gens into a corner and blame the killer for not leaving. Remember the killer doesn't place nor work on gens they protect them from being done. Which in no way should be bannable. If the survivors wanted the match to end and know they have lost suicide on a hook give an attempt at hatch and end the game.

He said harder not impossible......

Or for kicking the gen you automatically get a decent amount of regression ie 5% per kick. This eliminates gen-tap to unregress it. Since you can kick it again for more damage.
-
Don't disconnect for more than 10 matches in a row >.>
-
Well what if I told you disconnecting as a survivor can yield the same result to the killer?
-
I agree the marketing team needs to really readjust the price of their game.
For a further explanation:
Base Game: $19.99 + Chapter DLCS (96.84) + Currently all the Cosmetics that can't be bought by shards (I averaged to about 20$ Exclusive per character: $480 ($400 highest tier auric cells)) Which alone does not fully account for all the cosmetics that are exclusive because you can't see the original price of things once purchased. Now I am not gonna count for the ones that can be bought with shards, however, it would take beyond MASSIVE amounts of playtime to buy all the shard ones based on shards alone. Totaling easily over $500 which is absurd at this point.

How about people make threads about Disconnects when the game stops dc'ing people out of the blue.
How about you learn the difference between random dc's and intentional?
I mean it isn't like the survivor standing at you or the killer that head bobs top left to bottom right or quick lag then out are 'Crashes' people vaulting a window or running instantly leaving is the game kicking them.

I was judging this partially on the pitiful low points some of the Survivors had indicating they were likely camped/tunneled early on and didn't really get or do anything in the match except hang on the hook.
No, that is just how fast I can finish matches rather than playing "Dead by Farming"
-
I don't see how this change would fix Tunneling and Camping.
Actually I think this perk has been changed a total of 4 times now. Most of which if not all were nerfs.
-
I find that this might happen for the second map rework this year. Coldwind Farms maps have the least in them compared to the Badham Preschool Map which is getting a rework. However, they seem to be looking at maps with only one map iteration so the second rework might be Haddonfield. The reason I say this is they mentioned more variants for maps.
-
Would be interesting.
-
Or they just remove the cap because there is no problem in storing blood-points.
-
See I would like them to stick with four chapters a year, however, one chapter be dedicated to some form of balance, bug fixes, or pure reworks. No new content for maybe the fall chapter. At least for a year or two that would remove most of the outstanding issues with balance, awful bugs and core mechanic adjustments.

If you want to rank up, you must avoid camping (which I'm ok with), but also, must actively do steps to prevent survivors dying on first or second hook. It's ridiculous, but in endgame if I got two survivors are left with still 2-3 hooks in them, I usually down both, hook one, pick up and drop the other until they get free and unhook, down the unhooker, hook him, down the other again, and so on, until their sweet death. It actually sucks for them too (although I try to give them enough time to ge their Safe Rescue score at least). It's basically cheesing the system.
Killer pip system simply doesn't recognize that even if you slug four survivors, then hook 'em all and they all die on their first hook, you did great, and should rank up. "Hook actions" score requirement is silly. Hillbilly particulary suffers from BHVR's sweaty attempt to force players to play nice.
I'm not so up in arms about this myself (I like getting to rank 1, so I use Nurse every month until I get there, then start using my favourite killers: Clown, Doc, Trapper, and inevitably derank). But it's true that the current pip system does not very much reflect killer's skill.
I am interested in their proposed changes to the system that was announced for the live-stream but that is eons away.

@Peanits Really? That's interesting... But what if you were Perma banned and had another account lined up to use? Do the same rules still apply?
From what I understand its the fact that you re-bought the game for the second account that really gave you the second chance. Although, it may have progress you would essentially lose your 'main' account and its progress.
-
DS got a major nerf to only apply for essentially tunnel off hooks. However, I do believe that the timer they get for 'immunity' persay be shortened. There are several times I came back and re-found the recently unhooked survivor again and got stunned closer to the minute side later. In addition I found that in some cases they try to find you and get in your way so they can pull the stun off even though you didn't tunnel. That or like Borrowed Time be distance based. Ie killer is within say 28 meters away. I say 28 because that is nurses calling range.

Sheltered Woods is actually tied for second in sheer size which already hampers lower mobility killers. I'd be very careful asking for more obstacles that will further hamper them
That being said, I do acknowledge the map needs work and some extra cover.
Shelter woods may have a size advantage however there are many dead zones you just don't go for as killer.
There needs to be more pallets in center concentration similar to outside coal tower. However with this change I don't suggest changing the min/max of pallets just shift them. I also suggest slightly more thin-tree coverage so everything isn't a long-shot as huntress.

We just have to wait until dedicated servers come. I want something now too but I'm not posting stuff on the fourms saying dcs need a fix now
Considering how long this game has been out. Low-tier internal reporting should be implemented already. However, what if these dedi-servers end up being delayed till the end of the year? Wait a year without any fixes so give these users free reign to ruin games where lobby times for some of us are several minutes long at times?

Reading your post game chat seems like you like to push for D/Cs and rub it in as well. You even got salty when the one guy escaped.
Survivors disconnecting right and left is obnoxious. But Killers need to realize maybe there is a element of enjoyment or actual fun missing for Survivors that is also causing this. Though what is to be expected from a community that thrives on "watch me be a sweaty/toxic Survivor/Killer" videos. :/
The only time I rub in a dc is when they dc so hatch opens instantly rather than the survivor having to wait. Since that doesn't qualify as fair gameplay to me.
In many cases I try to end the match quickly to move on I thanked the users that just let me kill them to move on for ending it swiftly rather than dicking both our times around.
I am also playing plain vanilla huntress for most of these games.
Also to the comment that I try to get them to dc is untrue. In many cases if someone disconnects or kills themselves on hook it prevents you from getting emblems anyway.

@Johnny_XMan said:
My thing is...
Are you aware that the game is currently disconnecting a bunch of people out of the blue?
Hell, I've been disconnected as a killer and it takes me to the post match page, and shows me that THEY dc'd. That's how ridiculous the bug has gotten. Happened 3 times in a row yesterday.
Yes, I am also able to understand when those types of bugs occur. When a survivor for no reason across the map dcs and the match is going normal pace I can assume it was from the bug.
If the survivor is also moving and instantly goes down to a dc this is also a bug.
However when the survivor looks at you then faceplants the ground or while you are carrying them disappear those are not 'bugs'
There are key differences in the matches I have posted above.

@BACKSTABBER said:
yup is pretty much in every single match
if the ban waves come, numerous DCers will uninstall DBD, then will be a tragedy
the only solution to prevent DCs is making game more exciting, with new stuff (game modes, items, feats...) since now players are tired of the same over and over
why ppl didnt DC up to 2 years ago? cuz they were not bored yet of the same, ez ez ez
If a survivor dcs close to end-game the hatch should simply not open.
- This fixes abusive dc for hatch endgame by survivors.
Items being lost because of disconnect.
- Removes pull the plug item saves.
If you pass over 5-10% of game dc rates should trigger a ban.
If you are experiencing connection issues it should be easily reported on their own system. There is clear differences between an intentional disconnect, pull the plug, and loss of signal.

The reason they're boxes is because the font doesn't support the languages. If they didn't make the font, then they can't alter it, and thus cant do it themselves.
Then use a dynamic font that is compatible with Unicode?
Revert to a san-serif or serif as a last resort.
-
I mean at the same time not only does the survivor get 1x free escape with hatch chance. If you particularly fail that the game now gives you a 3 minute timer and 2 chances to get out. I think this is fair enough as is. If not sided heavily with the survivor.
-
Funny because I manage to get the points for doing so every time?
Simply put nurse stun for pallets is delayed. -

Nurse is OP in the right hands. A normal player just picking up Nurse for a couple of rounds will most likely get 0-1K because they don’t know the mechanics of Nurse. A player who has worked at Nurse and excelled in knowing her blinks and how far to blink is going to dominate. The only chance ANY player has is waiting for their team to die and to find the hatch. Any of the top tier killers (Nurse, Billy, Spirit) will usually always get all four players or one will escape via the hatch if the player is very good with them. Not saying we don’t all have potato rounds or maps we don’t do good on but a really good top tier killer main will do really great in any match.Nurse isn’t OP in an average players hands but if somebody knows how to use Nurse then she is SUPER powerful, there is a reason she is regarded as the best killer in the game.
You should check my nurse rework recent post. New nurse that is normally r1 killer (Huntress) I got 3k easy.

I don't know but one reason could be the fact that when she's phasing she can't see the survivors.She'll just go for the first set of scratch marks, noises, grass moving that she sees.
I mean as the spirit walks she glitches and if she phases at the right time her glitch out will cover up the phase. Probably at least 200 bs hits caused by that alone.
I wouldn't call it bs, that is entirely it's point. It's supposed to. You aren't supposed to be able to tell when she's phasing if you're just looking at her.
No I mean as she is running that glitch effect spirits when they phase in that you can't tell like at all.
So it goes from running glitch back boom behind you. That is out of 'that is how it is supposed to work.' -

Yes, you can simply DC ingame then.But on the other hand Im not even really playing right now anymore....
What this man said.

@BuffNurse said:
Also you can distract a nurse by running her around while teammates do gens so she doesn't patrol gens. At least 2 people can still get out this way meaning that the game was fair and balanced.I know you're baiting a lot here.
-
@BuffNurse said:
But base nurse does not use for that 2 blinks so hitting on first blink and last blinks is invalid because you need to use add-ons to get 3 + blinks.Which most nurses run add-ons.
Hence why the rework is aimed to reduce some of the addon capability and then some for the base.
As she shouldn't be nerfed like Freddy. -
@BuffNurse said:
Nurse can only hit on first and last blink. So you are fine with omega blinks then that should stay in the game.Again if they used omega blink they are still receiving a fair stun. However, in addition to that, they are add-ons that have to be used to achieve this. I am saying for the most part Base Nurse is just a bit tilted for balance perspective.
-
@BuffNurse said:
Just don't cuck yourself with 3 gen strat by being aware of which gens you and your team are doing.These aren't 3 gen setups they are legit probably the farthest apart generators on the maps.
Maps that are smaller in size like Ironworks other than attempting to go up on the top during a chase is not that great for gen placement we had 3 really close and knocked them out first. (Not all three left one ofc) -
Oops, you slipped.
