Why would you allow anything but this?
Right now nobody is using the offering (Except myself in my matches)
Then purposefully killing me (sandbagging) to get the lantern.well, with level 50 survivors, it takes sometime to even get the items in the first place
Playing the bloodweb to boost it to the next level is easy.
I get 2-3 in each web so I find that hard to find validity in. -
You recent games are due to the event.
You need to play the elimination plays if you want to get any hope at a chance at getting tokens as the killer. -
@ShyN3ko
900 + 800 + 700 + 600 + 500 + 400 + 300 + 200 + 100 = 4500
Divide that by 25. -
Roughly 180 Killer Games = 9 tokens. Averaging 25 a game.
-
I have no idea I broke 4 Lanterns and hooked several people. I get less than 1 survivor vessel.

@Tsulan does it apply for the whole team?

@not_Queen Would be nice on the killer side too

-
I mean the fact that this event alone.
- Dc prevents you from getting the lantern
- It instant respawns and even when red survivors can pick it up.
- They kill themselves lantern goes back to white.
- If the survivors cannot leave with them killer is not rewarded.
- They added nothing to survivor side however the killer side has multiple objectives to try and watch over locate and find. (Gens, Hooks, Actual Moving Live Players, Lanterns, which lantern did which person get from)
- Survivors intentionally booking it across the map to prevent you from being able to break the lantern after hook. (Distance too far they unhook no longer red)
Can't speak too highly of this event myself.

Perhaps the 5-10 second wait time is a bit much. Do you happen to know the delay time between missing a skill check and being able to continue repairs? I think that might be an easier time for people to accept.I would suggest the default 2 seconds it takes to kick the gen in the first place. Since it is the same amount of time you spent on it. I think the missed skill check thing is longer than 2 seconds though.

Each time a Generator is completed, the Obsession sees your LOCATION for 5/4/3 seconds.
Each time a Generator is completed, all Survivors' locations are revealed to you for 3 seconds.
Once all Generators are completed, the Obsession has the Exposed Status Effect and the Killer can kill the Obsession.

Just saying.
What about it? Bitter Murmur has nothing to do with this discussion.
Because bitter murmur is the other half of what he is requesting be done to rancor.
He is also adding in I believe it is dark sense to rancor.Essentially making 3 perks into 1

@Jdsgames I was reffering to @tt_ivi_99 's specific suggestion and that specific suggestion was unbalanced.Fair, I thought you were putting the whole thing down in general.

Not saying you would be super nice to the obsession it simply affects how you have to play in order to get ANY benefit from Dying Light. It would promote tunneling a bit less than it is now, but in the end it would still be a tunneling perk, not a perk that "would incentivize against camping and tunneling".
The perk currently completely incentivizes camping and tunneling the obsession. The current suggestion would eliminate the reward for camping the obsession. Tunneling is a strategic move that any killer can and might do despite what perks they run. However, the suggestion would incentivize leaving the hook and possibly finding someone else so you can then down the obsession again and rehook them.

Kicking a gen should regress it a 5% instantly.
To stop the regression bar survivors should work on It for at least 5-10 seconds. That would make the 3-gen-strategy too powerful. Imagine a Doc doing that.
To balance any game you have to get rid of core logical problems. The fact that break a generator that can be instantly reversed by a single tap by a survivor is a faulty mechanic of the game. However, you should not degrade a suggestion for the situation it makes one killer or perks overpowered. Many of the current balance fixes were changes made to balance around broken mechanics. So, by fixing the broken core mechanics, you will not need several bandaid value changes anymore. At some point, you will realize duct tape only fixes things for so long because of every update that is added somebody complains something became too overpowered. My suggestion is fixing a core mechanic of the game, not a perk or killer specifically. The fact that you have a situation where it takes time to do the damage, but the time to fix the damage is instant. The idea of regression is fair to some extent, however, if the survivor instant-taps your damage you lost two seconds of your time for no consequence of time to them.

The change would incentivize against camping and tunneling the obsession because in the perk's new state it wouldn't be an All or Nothing perkNo. It would still be a perk that rewards tunneling the obsession. The more hooks, the more tokens. Why should a killer decide: "1 Token is enough for now. Okay, 2 tokens would make the perk stronger, but let's be nice to the survivors right now and let's not use the perk to its full potential." ?
Because currently you either try and bait hooks or stand and prevent the DL kill?

The change would incentivize against camping and tunneling the obsession because in the perk's new state it wouldn't be an All or Nothing perk. Slowing the game down x% each hook + an extra token for the death would mean you have extra time to find another survivor to hook and then attempt to relocate the obsession. Then the need to remove the obsession is not required.

I can agree with this BNP isn't much of a threat anymore.
-
The reason I suggest it be almost tiered is I doubt the devs would change it to nothing as they balance these things based on new players. New players wouldn't notice hence the change not being made.
However, to be fair hex perks should only give their notification for a limited time if at all.
If you are not being alert when playing and don't hear the loud thunder crack of a totem pop. You should be there looking for totems for the rest of days wasting time. -

No this is not bannable. You can camp and tunnel as much you like. There is no rule who you should chase, for how long you suppose to chase someone and that you have to hook, chase or down the survivors in a specific order. All these claims of unfun game would also apply if a survivor loop you over and over, blind you and stuns you. You can use all the mechanic in the game how you please as long you don't use exploits or cheat in an other way.
Is it an effective way to play? Hell no!
But if it's your fun, you like to rp and be obsessed with one survivor go for it.It's not like you cheated the focused down survivor in anyway. He missplayed, get caught, hit, down and on the hook.
I normally play Huntress and get tired of 3/4ks 95% of the matches.

Probably. This can look the same as working with the killer to ruin other people's fun which is bannable.
Also, clown's belly button with the maggots is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.
Look and is the same is far from the same.
I know it is great.
Picture it from a mod's perspective, they see you mercilessly tunnelling and camping a survivor while letting the others do gens as you watch them. What would they conclude from this? Also, "look" and "same" have no connection in meaning whatsoever so what you just said makes no sense. I said it'll look as if you're working with survivors against other survivors, which is the same as working with the killer in the eyes of someone reviewing the report. You should get the stick out of your behind and post your opinion without attacking others' opinions.
Edit: I just realized you're the op, if that's what you thought all along, why did you bother posting this?
Because I want clarification. Other than "Well I assume it would break this rule" as I am not camping/tunneling them down. I simply don't let them leave. Far from it, however, under non-bannable offenses is Tunneling and Camping. Therefore even I was doing that method of elimination it wouldn't be bannable either. I am simply saying I choose two people at random that I will kill and two I will let go. As I have already hit R1 there is no need to 'tryhard' every match.

Honestly, if that is the way you would have to play the game is quite pathetic. However, working with the killer is bannable this is clearly not that therefore they would have no case.
