yeah but custom mode requires yourself and at least a couple of buddies (for a full experience) who want to fartarse around for a while. If you are solo then you're boned.
I do the same thing in public games like killer, I race like Hillbilly across the map as if it were the Nascar series.

His terror radius would probably be some water or dog sound cause of his death being by drowning, and his ability to appear and disappear at any time.
Everyone mentions the "Kill Kill Ma Ma" sound. That would probably be played when his power is ready.
Kind of like when you level up Myers?
-
At least one practical mode online, where you do not earn blood points, fragments, do not lower or rise in rank but just practice ... Wait ... that's the custom mode.

I’d imagine they’d use something similar to this theme, or recreate some of Harry Manfredini’s original score
Yes, the classic Ki Ki Ma Ma as a chase sound and with some background theme would be good, especially a melody by Alice Cooper, although if it came it would have a max 24-16 meters to sound.

Miss Trunchbull as Killer from Dead by daylight lmao.

We don't want anything related to fortnite in dead by daylight.

Is very hard to hype a midchapter which consists in some graphical updates, animation updates, perk tweaks and bug fixes. I dont know how can they make it sound awesome and rile people expectations up. Saying "this new animations are superdope you are going to love them!!" or "new The Game map is so crazy guys, its gonna be great, brace yourselves!!" wont entice people as much as showing a new Killer with powers and perks.
Also the last chapters have been a bit of a massive dissapointement with the sheer amount of bugs and unplayability they introduced so I believe a lot of people are more afraid of the patch than expectating, Im one of the afraid group, lets see how many new bugs they introduce this time though the fact it has no new Killer gives me some hope of a stable and somewhat enjoyable patch release.
Better to think about how many scares a Myers would give in the new map of The Game.

Blight had like 2 years of hype, and Twins for sure had a teaser before it was actually announced, remember people thinking it's a Wendigo?
As people used to think that Blight was a Werewolf, Vigo or Benedict Baker.

It seems to me that it is an alternative line where Zepp died due to the death of Tapp and as a consequence he was shot causing the entity to kidnap him and take him to his kingdom, because in the original line Zepp lived and was later killed, while that this alternate line is where Zepp died because of Tapp and this with his last strength shoots him. It would make perfect sense for it to be an alternate line or a mind game for Tapp since he was obsessed with Gordon from the beginning as he suspected that Lawrence Gordon was actually Jigsaw, The entity put Gordon in the bathroom for Tapp to see that he was actually It was never Jigsaw and that the real killer was still alive and torturing more people, The reason they put it is so that Tapp loses hope since he could not stop Jigsaw and more people would die.
-
Maybe in 2 weeks a teaser or something will come out.

(SAW VII SPOILERS AHEAD)
Could potentially be Hoffman? Though Saw VII ended with Gordon tossing the hacksaw out the door before closing it on him, Hoffman's been demonstrated to be the type to not give up easy - entirely possible in his final moments he found a way to jury rig amputating the foot before his strength gave out.
Either that or the level is just another one of the Entity's twisted takes on the characters' memories, and this stage is an alternate scenario where Gordon did NOT get out alive.
I prefer to think it's the former, just for the satisfaction of seeing Hoffman dead. Screw that guy.
Maybe it's an alternate scenario where Zepp shot Gordon and adam regained consciousness later and he would feel very sad about the murder of Gordon and then Jigsaw locks him up and leaves him to die alone in the dark or just amanda's memories make her entity recreate the gideon scene based on your memories and your expectations.

I also frequently see legion and deathslinger, not much freddy though. It seems only more skillful killers play freddy when I an up against one, which is ironic.
Also Nurse, never missing.

I see Legion, Huntress, Myers, Freddy and Deathslinger.

I have yet to explore the updated version of The Game, so I'll take your word for it. However, I was very impressed with the updates to Crotus Prenn. I especially liked the new Disturbed Ward with the greenhouse and garden. Definitely an improvement imo.
For some strange reason now the new Crotus prenn reminds me a lot of the Batman Arkham games and I like that.
-
Doctor.
-
The truth is, I don't know what to say about it ... but I'm sure that if they add at most 2 game modes it would be a success. but the difference is that they balance things well if they want to implement another game mode such as 2vs8 or hide and seek.
-
Knowing the developers and that in the previous update they brought us Autohaven and Ormond, and now they bring us Crotus Prenn and The Game, I bet the next one will be the Red Forest maps and ... Dead Dawg Saloon lmao.
-
I didn't even notice the sound of grass before, in fact I don't even know if it existed.
-
NOOOO!!!!
-
Maybe sometime I also hated the developers for a brief moment, When Blight arrived, The bugs of jumping windows and hanging survivors and even the graphic change of Springwood and Yamoaka, but to the point of calling them "Idiots" and they even ruin the game with each update? That is too much, maybe the new HUD will be annoying, horrifying and desperate to have it in the future, but it is only a PTB, maybe they are still in improvements to implement it in a better way, we also have to adapt to the new change, the new generators, pallets , perk updates, new graphics, etc. They do this for us and give us something in return that can be good and meaningful for everyone, like the new change to the clown. The HUD will be horrible but it is to be appreciated in a good way, even if we don't like it.

Adam did not replace his body with Tapp's. Adam died, for realzies. Amanda suffocateded him with plastic wrap.
Yes, the truth is no longer worth that theory, it is already 15 years and we must admit that he died, only the interpretation is worth it. Although if they took cutscenes of killers like in the Tomos, but with licenses, I would like them to delve into Amanda's past and see how she kills Adam in the bathroom like Detective Kerry.
-
There were also doctor gordon and adam in the bathroom, although the truth is that doctor gordon never died and adam maybe survived by replacing tapp's body but in DBD adam is dead.
-
Maybe they make us that reference to the new HUD and the "STARS" that we will see the Resident evil chapter in the future, but I can't be sure of that much, last year many theorized that the killer of the fourth anniversary would be Candyman, Springtrap , Pinhead and even Jason, the same happens with the chapter of Blight and The Twins, they theorized that it would be the Werewolf, Vigo and The Wendigo, so far I do not trust much of the next chapter of license or original.
-
That's the HUD we all want

One day i was sick of getting red ranks (rank 10 killer) in my games who tbag and stuff so i ran noed, insidious, enduring and brutal strength with coin and wardens keys on gunslinger. The rage coming from those survivors was immense. I didnt start insidious camping until they tbagged however. so i played 2-3 games with this loadout and each time got abuse as they tbagged and ended up seeing how powerful a killer can truly be if they want to play scummy like those survs with BT DS and dead hard. overall was quite enjoyable hearing their rage when i played after them bm'ing me. I dont care about flashlight clicks but if a surv repeatedly abuses animations to get blinds off when I'm picking someone up they better be good or I'm tunneling the hell out of them to make them regret their life decisions. I dont play to pip too often so its mostly a revenge thing.
The truth, it feels good, here is the example of a whole toxic premade kneeling before me.

You're right, I got carried away by what that murderer Abby said, Joel is my anti-hero.

That room pictured was one of the best loops still in the game.
Yes, as was typical in the lower ranges, we loped to the left where the mannequins were and the loop was very long and very annoying for the killer, but now since they made that side of the loop very short and weak, it seems that we are forced to climb the ladder and looping to that side.
-
For some strange reason I love to play at night and not during the day, since at night it feels good to play, for another strange reason the fps go up considerably when I play at night.

Depends what you mean by humiliating.
When a survivor gets in some good jukes and we have a nice chase, and yes, when those flashlights go clickedy-click amidst pointing and such, I’m audibly giving them props that they can’t hear. I never make it a point to tunnel or camp said players. Nevertheless, should I eventually outplay them, I feel that’s reward enough for me... wether or not they feel humiliated by losing the chase is up to them.
If I catch them, great
If they escape, no worries...
I’ll see them again eventually and we’ll have another go
On some occasions it is always good to meet a player from your game from a long time ago, I remember that I met someone calling Ben Kenobi with a David King skin and the truth was I felt good and wanted to laugh with joy when I saw him again since whenever I finish a game and if he was there, he wrote through the chat (Darth Maul: KENOBIIIII !!! or Hello there hahaha)
-
Although it is in Spanish, I still believe that they should implement a Killer vs Killer mode where two killers face each other and compete for the maximum amount of points and the killer can spoil the other's progress, it would be a meme .
-
I always play at night as a killer and I don't complain.
-
Do not expect it, maybe they will make it worse than it is like Springwood, although I always win on that map like Maternal Residence, they are the only 2 maps bigger so far.

@Xyvielia said:
As long as people are playing DBD, there will continually be new characters added.
If they release 4 killers every year, in 5 years there will be over 40 killers.
The only way DBD could end is if everyone stops playing it, and that isn’t happening in the foreseeable future, and certainly not within the next 5 years.
So, fear not, and play on🥳
Yes, you are right, there is still a lot to see from the Developers and iconic license characters in the future :)
-
The reason why the game is still alive is that most people come for the game licenses, in the next few years it will surely continue alive if we have iconic characters like Jill Valentine, Nemesis, etc. The next competitor of dbd will undoubtedly be the video game that Kane Hodder is working on in the F13 style.

I’d be incredibly disappointed if he doesn’t get unique chase music (he already has a menu theme)
The same happens with Ghostface, it has unique music in the lobby, but in game the music is by default.
-
The power is good, although Slenderman teleports, also if he is in pursuit, he lets his tentacles show and with them make a special type of attack.
-
I like the animations, like the graphic change, I hope the clown rework is promising and fun, but the rest, It's like gouging my eyes out and eating them.
-
It seems to me something bad that they change the hud, to have summed up, in the previous update they took away the option to reduce the graphic quality to 0% and then they put it to 65% at least, but the HUD, IS REMOVING EVERYTHING THAT IT STAY IN THE OLD ENVIRONMENT OF DBD, The hook hook counter seems great to me, the photos of the survivors the same, but moving it around is tedious and also putting the object or power down on the left of the screen, WHAT IS THIS? A MOBILE GAME, Please leave the old HUD in place but give us the hook counter and the survivor photos, it is the only thing that remains in essence to the old DBD.

So there is a part that's 30 seconds
After kicking a Generator for the next 30 seconds.. the first Survivor that interacts with it will scream
That's what I was thinking of.. yeah it's still dumb, if they don't touch it within 30 seconds you still have another 80 sec cooldown.. not worth it.
Maybe it's silly but this can be useful in the last minute, with 1 generator, if the perk is ready, you kick the generator and they return to the generator, they will be vulnerable, with M1 assassins in these cases it will be easier for them to catch survivors, this perk It can serve either at the beginning, the middle and the last generator, also with Trial of Torment you become undetectable and you can meet someone who does not pay much attention. That's the good thing about this combination because if someone was making a generator and it has Spine Chill, it hides and you can't find it, with Dragron's Grip you can detect it and best of all, leave it exposed. You have to know how to use the skill well, for those reasons killers do not use this perk so much because it does not work the first time, it is a matter of practice, also this also serves as an Anti-Premades so to speak.
-
@SweetTerror said:
Not really. In many ways dragon's grip is kinda of like make your choice, in that it's cool that you can cause the exposed status effect, but by the time a survivor goes back to the generator you just kicked (or a survivor gets rescued like with make your choice), you're usually nowhere in the vicinity to reap the benefits.
Maybe leave it exposed and not find it, the gen-rush in theory calms down a bit, but it would be a good thing to use, for example with Ghostface, I saw a video where a streamer kicked the generator near the shack and it was almost finished, 5 generators still , once kicked, he hid in the shack and out of nowhere he yelled a Feng-min and left it exposed until he knocked it down with a single attack, I mean, it's a good anecdote and a very fun build to use although it also depends on the time of Dragon's Grip as it is tedious to wait impatiently for a survivor to return to the gene for 30 seconds.
-
@Rydog said:
Maybe it could be a thing where they die on the hook immediately, and then respawn, but then all survivors instantly die for real when you get 12 total hook states.
Hmmmm. That would really incentivize the killer aggressively pursuing the weakest link, though.
perhaps it is impossible to have it because the power of a loop to kill someone and then revive as if it were a dream would be a headache.
-
You cannot change the attitude of that player, if he behaves like a ######### at the end of the game through the chat, he behaves as #########, in total the only satisfactory thing about all this, is the experience in how advanced you have been dealing with with toxicos, rushers, campers, etc. at the end of the day if you are a fairly experienced killer, you know how to cheat well, you will leave a survivor in complete humiliation, in total the survivors are dumber than the killer.
-
The Macmillan map, coal tower, is my favorite map because it was the first map in which I won a ruthless victory with Ghostface without using almost his power only m1 at rank 20.
-
Haddonfield...
-
Pyramid-Head, Michael Myers are the most terrifying, especially if Michael has Monitoring, Ghostface on closed maps with the classic skin is also terrifying.
-
For some strange reason, the new look of the game map reminds me of gideon's interiors in Saw 3.
