We demand a new map.

At least 1 new license every year, please
...preferably 2 license and 2 original per year
It may be, before I got to the game, I always sometimes saw the trailers of the license chapters, being surprised by those of Leatherface, Freddy Krueger and Pig although I did not usually play at that time. In the same way, I would like it to happen again, 3 killers of license in 3 consecutive chapters, although the originals are better to give you more creativity and implement new game mechanics.

They don't need to specifically that concept, there are a lot of better ones out there. Just to correct you about him and his power. While he was in his doll form, he posses grown man strength for some period of time, because he needs to switch his bodies after that, but the Entity buff them all anyways. His real power is Voodoo, it wouldn't be hard to implement him. I can send you few concepts if you want.
With pleasure, so I give myself a hypothetical idea of what it would be like.

I mean we have 2 killers with chainsaws technically 3 oni is billy 2.0
And billy was supposed to be the dev's version of bubba
And trapper was supposed to be their version on Jason
We have 2 trap based killers
And nemissis would fit quite well in dbd not sure about the missile launcher
Jason would always fit perfectly in this game and he dosent have to ba a trap based killer in f13 Jason has the rage mechanic that could be implemented where you naturally but very slowly gain rage being in a chase slightly increases the speed you gain rage and getting stuned makes you gain rage a lot quicker and when you're enraged you hear Jason's mother laughing and his stun time and pallet breaking and hit recovery speed is increase by 30%
The survivors can find Jason's mother in the map slowly calming Jason to reduced his rage ( she dose go to another location after soothing Jason)
If jason is enraged for 50s Jason's mother gets a beacon on her location for 2s every 10s
Yes, that has always been the case, Billy and Bubba use the same mechanics, while Trapper and Jason are more similar in appearances than in Power, but my concern, is how others think about how it will adapt to the game, that may be a concern Both for me and the rest, seeing the skin of a legendary killer is what we all want, but the power of is the problem of why they do not want to see it or if they want to.

I don't think that's a good thing from business point of view, they would lose A LOT money they could earn if they made those chapters.
In fact, it would not be worth buying a legendary cosmetic for a character that you already have, because people are very interested in the power, addons and perks of the character, It would be a disappointment if the developers committed a cruel crime like that.

Mr. X wouldn't have worked because there was a competing game out that included him. It was specifically a Resident Evil game. He might be an idea to consider now that support for the game has ended. The same thing goes for Jason.
Chucky's size is an issue. Victor's isn't because he isn't the actual Killer. He doesn't take you to hooks, attack you and perks don't affect him.
It is that the way they put Chucky is the same as with the Twins, with Tiffany or Charles Lee Ray holding Chucky and Tiffany Doll, but the idea is that it is Chucky, since it is him, the main antagonist, his power would be a real problem because in his films he was an ordinary doll, the same as with leatherface, he was an ordinary human with his weapon.
-
@EvanSnowWolf said:
I think a lot of licensed killers could just be Legendary Outfits for other Killers we already have.
Chucky and Tiffany could be a Twins skin.
Jason could be a Trapper skin.
Jack The Ripper could be a Ghostface skin.
The Xenomorph could be a Demogorgon skin.
I am sure there are loads more.
Yes, a Deathslinger skin like Pinhead and I'm satisfied, a Predator skin for Wraith.
-
In its beginnings in June 2016 it was undoubtedly terrifying, but as time passed it became Competitive. But to make it scarier would be to OP the Killer, but I'll stick with the graphic change.
-
The most terrifying thing for me, was when I was 11 years old, I was with my friends between 10 and 12 in the field, walking through an hectare as if it were a whole county, while our parents were having dinner and playing board games or challenges , typical adult party, well, me and my friends went through a fence, in the direction of a forest, we spent hours walking until it got dark, suddenly while walking we heard the sound of a chainsaw and the noise was getting closer and more until we ran desperately for our lives, thinking that he was a maniacal peasant, but he was not, he was my grandfather's neighbor, he recognized us later because once we saw him with my grandfather in town, well, after we I took them to my country house and they punished us for a long time. I will never forget that sinister adventure.

The next chapter is going to be OG.
The anniversary chapter is a 3-way race between Candyman, Child's Play, and Resident Evil.
Either way, Candyman is happening this year. Tony Todd teased it heavily in spring of last year.
Hellraiser, Alien, FT13, and IT are not happening sadly due to legal reasons and/or being declined. MCote has disconfirmed all of them multiple times.
Don't mention Hellraiser and F13, don't say those names. lmao.

or an Alíen skin for demogorgon.

16 meter Terror Radius on a 115% speed Killer that doesn't have to work on getting that speed isn't something I think will ever happen, or should happen. Especially on a Killer that literally has a weaker version of the Spirit's power on an already faster Killer. This power would be fine, if the rage wasn't optional and would never have to be activated, because without it Jason is a 115% speed Killer, with an 8 meter Terror Radius with Monitor and Abuse, who has the Spirit's power.
All of Jason's teachables are fine.
Self-Defense is just reverse Enduring, and annoying more than anything else. It also forces Killers to always respect pallets, even if you don't have the perk, since you always could.
Guardian is just infinitely better Mettle of Man, which yes is a bad perk, but it used to be broken. This is just old MoM but worse, since Protection Hits are hard to get, while safe unhooks are the easiest thing in the world.
You Are Not Alone is fine.
Also, why didn't you just edit the original? The edit button is on the top right of the post for you.
It is that I wanted to add images and make it very neat. I also had to rely heavily on Friday the 13th part 6 and the video game, since for example Tommy, is the survivor with all the categories 10/10.
-
The power is good, but it is not very logical to his films, an example, Michael Myers stalked Laurie and appeared out of nowhere, as if he were undetectable, Ghostface stalked while calling his victims and this few stabs left them on the floor Well, Leatherface, he's a common human, his chainsaw was the obvious thing to do. On the other hand with Jason, that of increasing his strength and going through pallets, windows or walls can be very useful, but they would have to apply it on each map and it would be annoying for the developers, I think that his power can be that same and with an ability from being undetectable, teleportation or just a low radius of terror.
-
Favorites:
- Michael Myers: I love playing him, because he is the mythical killer slasher of cinema before Jason, it is very legendary to have him here.
- Ghostface: It's my 2nd favorite as Ghostface was my first DLC and my first Killer win.
- Legion (Susie): I recently started playing Legion, like Susie, I love playing with her, she is like a girlfriend to me, also I achieved her 2 achievements in 1 day.
Less favorites.
- Blight: I do not like it at all, it is like difficult to play with if a survivor does not let me hit him with power, it only happens to me sometimes, while I have seen people who master it very well.
- Doctor: I played with it before, I handle it well, but the problem for me is that it is very boring, its power can easily detect survivors, while I like to look for them on my own.
- Huntress: Certainly for me, I don't like him, just like Nurse and Spirit.
-
The truth is, I would not mind if it enters, but the problem is that many say that there is no way it fits, it is always the same term when they want to put in a killer of license.
-
If you handle Bubba well with the chainsaw and know how to master the 3 charges well, you will have a lot of fun with him, especially if you have good sluggeo perks and addons that increase your distance when you hit with the chainsaw.

I don't think I have a favorite map -- I've always liked playing the MacMillan and Autohaven maps, both as killer and survivor. They've always felt most fair from either side of the spectrum.
I like corn maps as a survivor for the same reason I hate them as a killer -- corn blindness, lol. I've lost count the number of times I've lost a killer simply by standing still in the corn. It's exceeded only by the number of times I've lost someone I'm chasing the same way.
But the map I hate above all others is Lery's, both as killer and survivor. Too many windows and doors as killer, too easy to get twisted around in there. As a survivor, other than he middle gen, it's hard to find generators half the time, and totem spawns can be downright nasty there at times. If I never saw a Lery's map again, I'd be thrilled.
As a killer I love Lery, since I handle it very well as much as Myers and Ghostface, but as a survivor I do not like closed maps, since it gives me the feeling that the killer may be undetectable and I may be the first to be hung , certain insecurity to be in those maps.

Favorite: Midwich. I really like the atmosphere, don't care about balance.
Least: Purgation temple. Really think they missed a great opportunity here by moving the temple into the black forest. So much potential for an open desert with a temple carved in solid rock.
Yes, Purgation temple can also be said that it is the 2nd worst that I hate just like Cottage Owner, the lighting and the large map size that is above all Cotagge Owner is without a doubt the new Ormond.
-
- I make sure they don't find me so easily and if they do, I stick to windows and loops without trying to waste a pallet and make the most of the windows.
- I never do, that is putting the partner's 2nd hook at risk or even more so that they find their altruist.
- I never open them, I always make sure to leave the door 99% while not with me, to help someone who is injured or being chased.
- Whenever I see one I purify it, but first the gens, then I purify.
- I crouch when I am near the hook, if I have a flashlight I don't do it, but if not, I crouch and hope that whoever is on the hook does the same so that he is not discovered.
- I do not drop them, they are a limited resource and I prefer to take advantage of the windows than to throw pallets like crazy.
- I never do it.
- The first time he hits me or hooks me, I heal, if we are at 5-3 gens, I do gens first to 2-1 to feel somewhat safe.
-
For me it is the worst of all, especially for maize, it needs an urgent revision and that it be the next to change along with Haddonfield following after Red Forest and Swamp.
-
Insults in games are not lacking, but a threat of death and especially in Dead By Daylight, really this game is not why it is too toxic, unlike other games of the Shooter or Cooperative category, but this is undoubtedly the worst of Everyone and the people you mention ruin everything, it really is annoying on the one hand that this game is succumbed to toxicity.

Yeah pretty much - And yeah I agree with your list admittedly I don't see Chucky working for a lot of reasons but not exactly opposed to it just don't see it working out.
I'd add The Terminator (T-800) to that list personally. He's not exactly a slasher but then again neither is the Xenomorph from Alien. He just falls into that category.
Maybe a human will load it and we will have the same as Billy and Leatherface or just make it taller than Victor, but the developers are the experts at that. On the other hand, the Terminator thing would not be such a bad idea, although I have never seen much of his movies.

This is my Top Favorite Movies.
- The Avengers (2012)
- Batman: The Dark Knight.
- Pixels.
- Star Wars: The Attack of the Clones.
- Speed.
- Halloween.
- Back to the Future 2.
- Ready Player One.
- Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives.
- Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of Gods.
The truth is that these will be my 10 favorite movies since I usually see much more series on Amazon than movies.

Yep, it’s a great chase theme and it fits DBD perfectly. Michael April would have to lengthen it a bit, adding separate segments to accommodate the variation of sections per meters of TR. It would be an intense chase. Jason may actually end up having one of the best (if not the best chase themes)... probably be my fav music of all the killers, if they do it right.
Been a while since I’ve watched Jason Lives
...Gotta love those headbands tho, btw 😂 and the triple decapitation too, classic!
Yes, if it were, it would be good if they were based on the Jason from part 6. He is the most characteristic of all.

When Jason meets the band again at dbd.

Don't get me wrong I love Pennywise as a villain but I feel lore wise Dead by Daylight would never be able to do an iconic character like Pennywise justice.
The same, but I also feel for a part that would not fit well for not being a mythical killer, but an entity, although we only have as Option killers that would fit well as Chucky, Pinhead, Jason, Pumpkinhead, Alien and Candyman. The slasher movie list would be complete.
-
@MadLordJack said:
I don't like Pennywise. I don't find it particularly scary or intimidating, a fact that will only be worsened by it now having its arms and legs metaphorically tied behind its back.
No killer in Dead by Daylight is intimidating.

Even though I hate this game, it is so addictive, I say it for the simple fact that there are license characters.

Sure, he could use claws, his teeth or smash survivors with a bunch of balloons. The problem is, this would not be true to his character. He is simply not a slasher killer.
It would be like bringing Dr Manhatten into the game and he is using a hammer to down survivors. I hope you get the point what i mean there.
Yes, that is also a problem. It is not a slasher as such, it is simply a Being from a novel, it is an Entity and not a Killer. Although I do not expect him or see him as a DBD Killer, it is enough to know the reasons why half the community does not want to see him, but you already gave me an official answer.

I’d imagine they’d use something similar to this theme, or recreate some of Harry Manfredini’s original score
This would also be a good chase music and make it much more fearsome with sounds of Ki Ki Ma Ma, when he chases the man with glasses.

It would be nice if it was in the game, I always took screenshots of my games, it would have been nice to have it when I won my first game with GF. I will never forget.

Probably because of the Lore.
It would be very likely that IT would enlsave The Entity then the way around. IT is a god in the macroverse where our universe got vomited by a gigantic turtle.
On top of that, i can dont see any way on how Pennywise would can work. It is not killing people with physical weapons like any other Killer in DbD. I am simply afraid they will try out something crazy which would change the core gameplay to much.
In fact he can use his claws as a weapon, his power would have to do with the balloons or I know, I just know that people do not want him for fear of his power, perks and even to add a killer much more broken than what it's Freddy. All of that depends on the developers if they want to bring it or not.
-
The map is destined to be dark, because it maintains the essence of the saw movies and also is a horror game, there must be darkness at all times.

Sr.Trunchbull as Killer!!!

It is much better to play against Baby Survivors, they are very friendly and non-toxic, they don't wait at the starting gate, they just leave.

I'm still holding out hope for Jason, or Pinhead from Hellraiser. I think Hellraiser would be an amazing chapter. I mean, we do already have chain physics in the game with Deathslinger. Pinhead could build on the chain physics torture.
If Pinhead arrives his death would be the best of all, it would be like Pinhead takes out his Lemarchand Box, and some chains catch the survivor, tearing him apart and taking him inside the Box.

All I want is a Resident Evil DLC, with MR X and Nemesis as killers, the first DLC with two killers and two survivors (Leon and Claire, or Leon and Jill)
It would be good to have a DLC of that style, especially if it is one of Resident Evil, having Nemesis and Mr. X with Leon Kennedy, Claire or Jill Valentine would be great.
-
I like it.
-
Everyone who plays killer forgot her, there are only Nurses, Freddys, and Deathslingers.

A pier at night, an abandoned cemetery, an abandoned camp and some kind of terrifying university would be nice to have.

Waiting for Nemesis or Mr. X and Jason.

I don't even care for his power anymore. I just want him in the game.
I am the same, even if it is a silly skin for a trapper, but it is possible to have it since now the appeal by the Cunnigham team is going to be won by Victor Miller.

@Critical_Fish said:
Way too similar to Myers with the first part of the power. I really dislike it.
The Slasher seems like he'd be incredibly annoying, but not good if you're on the top of things as Survivor, just like Myers.
The ability to attack the Killer 1. doesn't make sense, and 2. makes this Killer worse than he really has to be. He's already bad dude why you gotta do this to him-
Blood Bath is... oh lord. Undetectable and seeing auras from any distance is just... why. This with Furtive Chase seems like a damn nightmare. It takes a long time to unhook someone if you don't hook the Survivor right next to another one. Plus, you can see any Survivors near the hook and chase them away. There's no way the obsession would ever get off the hook if you know what you're doing, so that's 180 seconds of being impossible to track and seeing everybody on the map for effectively free.
The description isn't it. Freddy is much more unnatural than Jason, the Demo is from a literal different dimension, the Nurse floats and teleports, and the Wraith can turn invisible. The Entity has a knack for understanding weird things, no way Jason would be the exception if there was one. This perk is even worse design wise. It's just Pop Goes the Weasel but better, and Pop is one of the best perks Killers have.
Hex: Bad Luck is cool. I have no problems with this.
Your Friends are Dead is just a mean perk. It wouldn't be useful at all but it'd just be mean, especially if you have a key.
Self Defense is just old Decisive Strike without the requirement of being the Obsession for it to instantly activate. No ######### thank you.
You Are Not Alone just seems useless. It'd be helpful for beginners I guess, but it messes up any muscle memory and would probably not often work anyways.
Despair is again, just mean. It's not even useful for trolling though, either. Just Your Friends are Dead but worse. Maybe if the Killer closed the hatch it'd help open exit gates, but that's it. This also has nothing that changes between levels.
Friendship has nothing that changes between levels. Other than that it's mediocre, but fine if you're in solo queue I guess.
Mental Game, again, has no changes between levels. This also, the way it's worded, makes it seem like all actions are silent while in the Killer's terror radius, which is absolutely not okay. Quick and Quiet makes 1 action every 20 seconds silent, and this is just QaQ but infinitely better, to the point of potentially being broken, especially with Lithe and Dance with Me. To balance this, probably put a limit on how many silent vaults you have (1/2/3) and make it only during a chase. Also 60 seconds to gain each silent vault back, with a Token system.
For something I said that almost the entire concept was stolen.
-
I think the next chapter will be Original, since there are still many horror franchise licenses to get like Hellraiser, IT, Candyman, Friday the 13th, Child's Play, Pumpkinhead, Alien, The Thing, among many. Also if it were Original I would like the next killer to be a Pirate or a Magician to give it more creativity.
-
It is much worse for those who are new to face a more experienced killer, it would be a free game. Honestly, the "GREAT REWARD" 250K for reaching Rank 1 something like that, is the most mediocre I've read, with that it is enough for me to win 3-5 with 100% blood point offerings.
-
Leon Kennedy, even if he is not a member of S.T.A.R.S, it would be good to have him from Survivor, in fact I would love for the Resident Evil episode to be with double Survivor and double Killer, Leon and Jill. Nemesis and Mr. X and legendary skins like Claire, Chris, Albert Wesker, etc. appear in the store.

With leatherface you have Barbecue and Chili, a very good one to know where the rest is and a multiplier of 100% of blood points.
