I hope the devs do the Fr13th chapter right, does it matter to fans what Jason comes unless it will be like a Fr13th thing where you can select multiple Jason's @Jarol @Xyvielia ,do you have a specific Jason that should be in the game? and why, if you don't mind. and location
Jason has to have a power that characterizes him in the movies, maybe if they introduce him in the middle of his demand it would be a miracle or a wish come true, but the Jason I want to see is the one from part 4 or part 6 or Freddy vs Jason, all their cosmetics and movie versions could be in the store, including Uber Jason and Retro Jason, their survivors must be Tommy Jarvis and Tina Shepard, something similar to the Stranger Things chapter, the map may be the classic Camp Crystal Lake, but to save trouble would be convenient Camp Forest Green, The Lazarus Yacht, Higgins Haven, among many.

Nah, not swimming through land. Flopping about, landing on survivors for a normal hit and lunging with it's mouth for an insta-down. Jaws theme playing while you hear a heavy flopping noise approaching.
is that that worries me and it would be quite strange, as if it were a ghost shark. at least it might sound crazy but the survivors don't run or swim, they're in boats

I demand an actual Jaws chapter where the shark is a killer swimming through land. The TR/chase music would be legendary.
Chan nan ... chan nan .... chan nan

Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but I play it, if the fifth anniversary happens it must be a legendary license and something great at the level of Ghostface and Pyramid-Head, so the fifth anniversary chapter would be between Jason and Resident Evil. If it is a chapter of resident evil, I bet it will be the most expensive DLC of all and exceeding the price of Stranger Things, and if so we would have 2 killers and 3 survivors to leave us with our mouths open, the survivors would be Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, and Leon S. Kennedy. the 2 killers, Nemesis and Mr.X.

Not really a wild dream since Victor, he opens the doors for killer's like ,Jaws,Cujo,Chucky even powers could function off a Victor mechanic. This is pretty far out there but if they submerge the survivor's to chest height and just change the vault animation to a climb because the gens would be on platforms it can still be a vault technically.
Jaws could have basically a fishbowl in the Entities realm at the bottom for player's to move around to gens.It could play out as a sub realm for Jaws so you could patrol gens like any other killer with a submerged and surface action button.
A Jaws chapter would be good to see, but unfortunately if it were implemented it would be something illogical as if a shark were chasing you in the loops or as if a window were jumping, for that there are similar games like Depth, but it is also possible to see solo characters like Bill and Ash, Quint or Chief Brody have the potential to be survivors. But just like the new mechanics of how they can include a dwarf as a killer, the devs can also manage to include some type of animal as a killer.

Awesome...and you're build is?
It is not the most powerful but it is to take advantage of its low terror radius.
Monitoring and Abuse, infectious Fright, Knockout and Dark devotion or Tinkerer and Trail of Torment.
-
Success? I always have it with Myers.
-
None, it reminds me of the You're Next movie where all the survivors die and in the end the final girl dies by a dumb cop xD
-
I have 677 hours on Steam
As a survivor, I want to improve my audacity, in the chases not to be afraid that the murderer will hit me but to leave the pallet intact and give the loop another turn, also do deception techniques and practice the 360 more often.
As an killer I want to practice with killers that I have never played or lost practice, avoid survivors trying to make me dizzy with 360 attempts not to hit them and avoid the deception of pallets and windows so that they do not drop or jump.
-
Pig in his gothic outfit and myers in his prison suit with a view of his underwear, yes please.
-
Michael vs Trapper, like it's a Michael vs Jason, But a hillbilly vs huntress would be an Epic battle.
-
As this is updating, now I have a high chance of seeing Chucky thanks to Victor, Pinhead since clive barker recovered the rights to Hellraiser maybe, Jason probably if the lawsuit ends at the latest in the first half of 2021 but ... THE NUN AS FUTURE KILLER
-
Killer: Michael Myers
Perks: Monitor & Abuse, Infectious Fright, Knockout and Dark Devotion
Addons : Memorial Flower and Dead Rabbit
This is my personal build with Myers since the build was based on the first Halloween movie, the objective of this build is to be stealthy and trick the survivors so they don't know where I am and where I attack, with Monitor & Abuse and Dead Rabbit I am stealthy and undetectable, when I am in pursuit and knock one down, Knockout and Infectious Fright will be applied to know who is within my radius of terror and for those who are far from 16 meters will not know where the survivor will be and finally Dark Devotion To be undetectable when I hit obsession, I have a second build with low radius horror killers to be stealthy like Tinkerer and Trail of Torment.

Nobody was ever so crazy to say pig can actually be high tier, there's no way.
But the opinions on her are dividing, some say she's at the same level as trapper, and some say it's mid tier.
He's not that strong of a killer but he avoids gen-rush a lot. With good addons, good perks and the game experience, you win and it's a gg, it's more or less medium level depending on how you handle it.

I feel like Chucky would be interesting to see but I am afraid he will be similar to The Twins and have powers similar to other killers to Freddy and that to make him not as unique as he could be. He would be cool to see, I just hope that if the devs do it they make him as unique as possible.
It would be much better if it was a possessed doll instead of some similar concept with the twins, if they took out a child's play dlc, not only would chucky come but for example tifanny or charles lee ray. I would love it to be chucky alone, after all the main antagonist is just a doll. Besides, he is much bigger than Victor compared to his size and his head.
-
Michael Myers and Ghostface, these two are stealth assassins and can knock you down with their power. having these two can give you heart attacks. especially with Ghostface and a Myers with Monitoring.

He look, no matter what you do, there will always be players who will camp, that's unavoidable. Bubba is great example, they buffed him, he doesn't need to camp anymore, but people will do it, they will camp with Wraith who is very weak at camping.. How i would do it is that he can't put dolls close to the hook and can't lose his terror radius if he is in 10-15m meters of the hook.
A strangulation from behind... for chucky thing is the lakeshore strangler.
-
It would be good if chucky was like that in the game as you say, but I'm curious how would his addons and his mori be? based on your concept.

I want more maps like Haddonfield. The idea of going in and out of houses is cool. Maybe something Crystal Lake-esque, with cabins all around a lake.
a large map with a lake is cool.
-
The Nun, Chucky, Jason and Three Fingers and Their West Virginia Cannibals.
-
It would be fine, if there were at least 5000 fragments to reach rank 1 I would be satisfied, but the developers do not give us anything so it cannot wait, maybe in the new year they will give rewards.
-
I thought I could implement a new solo survivor like Ash Williams and Bill but that is on license and nothing more and nothing less than ... Money Heist DLC, with some character like Berlin entering the realm of being since it was shot by police in season 2.
-
I have never seen the pumpkinhead movies but maybe instead of adding additional functions it is through addons of its power or a special or secondary ability.
As for example The Pig if reworked it, which adds not only inverted bear traps, but also traps such as ... The mask trap in Saw 2 or also the neck trap in Saw 3, it would still be done more op or maybe it is through complements. is an example but maybe it will work with pumpkinhead if it comes.
-
Michael Myers, although my first killer is Ghostface with whom I won my first game.
He is my favorite killer for the simple fact that I am a fan of Halloween movies and it was because of him, the reason for entering DBD along with the other license and original killers. It was also the one that reached Rank 10, Rank 5 and Rank 1, with the ground playing and I have a lot of fun, but now I don't occupy it as much as it occupies it too much and I must give it a rest.
-
This super, also if I had a chase music, it would be this, or something similar:
Drill & Trap - Saw Original Score Soundtrack

Jason...

Samination made a parody that pretty much would be a really cool start for Jason abilities and perks.
There he may make another post talking about his abilities as well as his survivor Tommy Jarvis, but if they were two survivors like the Sthanger Things DLC it would also be Tina Shepard since it is Jason's 2nd nemesis
-
The Autohaven map is perhaps the most horrible for trapper since the texture of the ground makes the traps even more visible and if they are dark above all, before you wore accessories that made the trap darken well and it was not visible, unlike now Come for the bounce of the moon from the map and the brightness, also the grass. although the traps have worked well for me on maps like springwood, all 5 variants of macmillan, ormond, etc.

Tony Todd has been following them for a while, I think the first I heard about this was in May for the speculation of Chapter 16. This isn't exactly news but it doesn't necessarily mean that Candyman isn't coming seeing how long it probably takes them to go from chapter concepts to being able to release a ptb. I'm personally not a fan of the idea, but it would still be interesting to see.
I have not seen his movies either, only his appearances in final destination and hatchet, long ago before joining the forums according to what I understand, they did not want to see him in DBD.

Yeah, I agree.
I was trying to consider what could be the most OP scenario, seeing as how some killers get buffed, then nerfed. I do like having a teleportation concept, along with the stealth.
I’m just happy that you’re discussing the possibilities here, while JV is still an attainable character. Thanks for the good convo and input into his DBD character!
Haha, I'm like Tommy Jarvis but in the world of dead by daylight, where Tommy is obsessed and traumatized with Jason where everyone considers him crazy to believe in a vengeful spirit xd, I will also continue talking about him until he reaches dbd, like the insane what am I xD

Which Jason do you think the devs would go with ? Jason vs Freddy has a awesome look to it .
Yes. I think it would be that jason and that version is the one I want to see the most. Maybe if it came, they could implement their classic skins from the 80's in the store and their lore would be this.
After long events, he has faced an assassin that the entity had already taken before. After their fight, Jason finished with his rival leaving the fight in a draw. Jason had fallen into the lake along with his rival's head and his throat slit, the next morning Jason comes out of the lake with his rival's head. while walking he realizes something. Jason was not in his camp, but he appeared in a forest, he suddenly realized that he was not trapped there alone, but that there were people, people who had not learned their lesson and Jason would punish them.

@Xyvielia said:
Your idea is a good start.
He needs more power, imo.
Multiple weapons are a must.
Jason’s always finding random weaponry throughout the scape of his surroundings to utilize for the kill. Every map (only while playing as Jason... similar to Jigsaw boxes, pools of devotion, Freddy clocks, traps) would be loaded out with random weapons that he can pick up and use to his advantage. Some weapons are capable of being thrown to achieve a hit.
Should have a internal increased bloodlust feature that makes him the fastest regular movement killer in the game (not including Blight’s serum speed, Billy’s chainsaw sprint, Legion’s FF, a scampering Victor, etc... just regular movement).
Also feel he should have a power (Not perk) where after hooking a survivor he has a form of “area” aura (a range of map within 12m of other survivors) highlighted to him that he can then teleport to only immediately after hooking. Lockers are not immunity to this power.
Jason’s nothing like Trapper.
Simply because ol’ Trappskii’s got himself his own mask and big machete-esque blade weapon with some coveralls doesn’t make him anything close to the magnitude of slasher slaughter power that is the OG JVoorhees😌
He should be made into the most powerful character in the killer lineup, and if the devs do him justice, he will be... even after any nerfage sustained.
It is still a bit OP that he sees the auras like this in a radius of 12 meters and more if he has barbecue and chili, although if the devs get it and if so his power that is at least one anger meter, a minimum displacement ability like a stealth and that is of difficult difficulty. just having it would be happy and the game would already be full of famous licenses.

The title pretty much sums it up.
If it were f2p, I don't know how I would describe it, maybe it would be full of hackers or the matchmaking would still be broken due to the number of users. but if it were. We should have some kind of reward for buying the game or putting cells.

Teleporting seems like too much of a rip off of the Friday the 13th game. He didn’t have this ability in any of the movies except for bad editing. Copying that game in any way opens up grounds for lawsuits. They’d be wise to come up with different ideas.
Teleporting would be OP in this game as most maps aren’t large enough to make it necessary, and Jason in most of his incarnations isn’t slow, and certainly never was slower than Myers even when totally undead. I could see him as something of a cross between Myers and Trapper, but at this point other than his skin I don’t see him adding anything special to the game, honestly.
True, you are right, the idea would be copied from his game, but if I doubt that it will arrive, it would not be another teleportation like Freddy, maybe not to make it very OP, it would be that something like Spirit will move but something slow and with a certain time of use, maximum 10 or 15 seconds and a reload time with a higher number, also I still do not see it possible to see it some day, maybe I lose hope of seeing it but I do have hope that some day they improve the dbd game.

I currently have the adept of trapper, myers and freddy, but that of proposing a clear objective to not do the same thing every day I had not thought about it xD, but maybe I propose to dominate assassins who almost never play like Blight, Pyramid Head, Deathslinger, Demo, etc before taking out your achievement.
-
I have the same opinion, The survivors put on their 3 perks and escape obtaining minimum or maximum scores in each category, on the other hand, the killer has to get a ruthless with 4k, without death and without anti-generator perks. But the only option and easiest to get an adept is to play and be lucky, if you lose, you lose, if you win, you win, in total it is only an achievement to be displayed on steam.

I imagine his power something similiar to Oni. Enters deadly frenzy, moderately increases FoV, breaks breakable walls, pallets and vault within 1.5 seconds, vaults self repairs automatically after 60 seconds, can teleport with a fog, the whole begins to be foggy making it impossible to see anything from survivor or killer perspectives. And gains the power when getting stunned and chasing survivors. Loses the power after 60 seconds.
Yes, that of teleporting and appearing with a fog animation would be super, very characteristic of his movies when he disappears and reappears. obviously his power would have to be an anger meter where accompanied with special abilities of his power, it would have to be teleportation or displacement and a stealth or something that analyzes auras like the video game something like that.

I doubt Kane Hodder will be involved in DbD (BHVR doesn't mo-cap, as far as I know, and Jason, again as far as I know, makes literally no noise so he can't provide a voice) but if the Lawsuit really is over and done with, then I think Jason has a good chance at getting in.
Though, now I wonder, how would they make his noise work in-game? I'm not familiar with the F13 lore at all, but as far as I understand Jason doesn't even grunt he's so silent. Noise is an important part of this game, for both sides. When it works, anyway.
the sound of a zombie complaining of pain but with an extra water sound like a minecraft drowning

If you are talking about a new video game, another horror franchise, DBD would not be, he does movement effects as seen in F13 the game, if it were in dead by daylight he would not have to do movement effects, also I do not think he would play Jason Voorhees, will surely be a new character for his next game, so far the only horror game and franchise would be Evil Dead, although in the Slash 'N Cast video they theorize that it will be a Halloween or Texas Massacre Video Game. So far with the lawsuit and without Larry Zerner giving us information, I don't see Jason possible for at least a while, until the pandemic is over I imagine.

If proximity chat was put into Dead by Daylight I think that it would 1. Help survivors become more coordinated 2. Help killers locate survivors easier 3. Sort've nerf SWF. Currently one of the reasons that SWF is so annoying to go against is they know where you are at every waking moment and have discord calls so they can communicate without you knowing about it. By giving them a way to communicate that can also help you locate them it makes it harder for them to speak without being found and knowing about their plan. So if you play a stealth killer you can learn if they have spine chill because they might exclaim that they do, hear their plans about Wich gens they're going to work on, or help find out if there is anyone around if they start screaming.
As a killer listening to the rats that poison you obviously not, if they implemented voice chat to dbd, the game will be hated and I am sure that the killers and survivors of the network will get hurt and bad fame will come, the same as in f13, they coordinate you, stun you, tease you in the end, etc. It would be the same if it happened in dbd.
-
Survivor: It led me to Quentin, many will say things about him being an ugly goblin but the poor man is alone and even more so if Nancy was killed by Freddy. I give love xd.
Killer: Pig, amanda young...it's mine, The poor girl fell in love with Cecil, a drug addict who killed Jigsaw's son, then she was attracted to Adam until in the end she killed him so that he does not continue to suffer (we must admit that if he survived), he has had a complicated life even making cuts, I like that about gothic girls like pig xd
-
I would improve it this way.
At the start of the game it remains undetectable but with a slightly increased movement speed (105% to 110%) and with the lunge slightly increased also to 0.2 seconds.
When it lurks for the first time it has an ability to hide without being detected so easily, because currently everyone sees it out there and they hide easily before reaching a generator.
For that ability to work, it is the same as with ghostface when stalking from cover. from there he increases his Evil Within 1 moderately and if he has the tribute to Judith it increases considerably. If they see it, it can be hidden by making an animation of disappearing from where it is hidden and lurking like in the halloween movies. Suddenly it is on one side and seconds later on the other side, just as shown in the halloween dlc trailer.
Something like that I have thought in the event that one day they improve it but I see it impossible, also many people say that they eliminate level 1 just like that but they are forgetting the addon of the level 1 mirror.

Object counter: give Trapper undetectable at the start of the match like myers, so he can set up traps without having to worry about object.
Obviously the object is the most toxic perk and that counteracts the power of a trapper, witch, freddy, maybe I don't know very well, but the thing about the undetectable for at least 60 seconds would be op and a good idea, also with Corrupt Intervention you save a lot of time in setting traps.
-
I rarely play a survivor for obvious reasons, I can't get past rank 4, it's like a curse.
-
if a token is not lost when hitting a random hit, perk of the year.
