I think it's because it's too easy to pip, at the moment... Rank 5 reached yet I don't know half the stuff of a high ranked player. Hell, I'm pretty sure I still get caught by BBQ + Chilli (despite crouching behind a gen.) I don't see why SWF isn't removed. It's a huge hindrance to constantly remake the group and it causes a major disadvantage to the killer. Not to mention ruining the experiences of the solo players.Lowbei said:

The current matchmaking (I imagine you're speaking of how unfair it can be (Rank 1 survivor with Rank 18 Killer or team mates)) is horrible, I'll give you that. But I play as someone would if they were #fullyimmersed. What about being able to use only one perk then? The Devs would be able to analyse the perks that are overused in the competitive mode and then be able to see which ones are the most powerful survivor perks. Plus Killer perks too, though I think the Devs know that BBQ + Chilli and Ruin are the meta... Friday the 13th and Overwatch. To be honest third person characters and customisation always draw me in, especially if stealth and objectives are involved in the gameplay. If I hadn't spent all of my money in GTA (everything fun requires money ;-;) I would of played that. Though most of the time I was in pacifist mode just walking around because life is hectic, you know? Sometimes you want to just watch as someone in a jet kills everyone on the map instead of the other bull you have to deal with in life.

I've had a lot of problems caused by it, seeing as it's such a constant barrage. I've often found myself tearing up, having mood swings, twitches in my eye (which were related to stress). It's hard for those that take everything to heart. Like me. But I do try and take it with a grin. Currently trying to prestige Kate, Meg, Nea, Jake, Ace and Feng. I've only done P3 Claudette so far (with almost all perks, only need two more to go until they're all max rank) with Kate nearly at P2. Just trying to have fun... As survivor I've only had it happen when I was learning to play survivor and is have someone that would harass me after the match. I personally have thick skin and not bothered when people harass me or attempt to sh1t talk... Its seeing what it does to the game and the mindset of the community that bothers me.

Which black outfit? Her darkest outfit is perhaps the dark brown set. Even I see her fade into darkness. But unless they give other characters longer, darker sleeves to cover their incredibly light skin then Claudette will always be invisible.

I would rather have anonymity between the Kille and survivors, a.k.a no usernames and only the name of the survivor they are playing as. I've been harassed so much as Killer so having it be both ways would be lovely.

But then I would be considered toxic. I don't think this is a situation that is dealt like 'fight fire with fire'. After all those you body block could easily turn on you once they get the chance... A third person stealth killer, who can vault over pallets as well as destroy them. Not to mention Bamboozle would effect pallets vaulted over.

The options to view the ones you haven't unlocked seem to be gone. But I doubt unlocking the known ones (Dwight, Claudette, Jake and Meg) has been removed. Though I might test this just in case. 1)Soul at Stake looks like it needs improvement and fun is dependent on the player. I would like it because of the survivor side requiring some thinking and a slight bit of paranoia, which I have plentiful amounts of.Detective_Jonathan said:- Soul at Stake is better than DBD

I've had multiple games where someone acts in spite of me... For instance, insta-unhooking. When I questioned the person after the fact they told me I was a camper killer, and that it was 'karma'... I've never once been intentionally toxic to a Killer. I've always played fair, have never used Decisive Strike in my life, prefer stealth to pallet looping... Because I know the Killer's struggles. I'm currently at Rank 6 and was just killed by a Hillbilly, who camped me and I had two Kate's who had each other killed. No, it does nothing. But it helps to highlight an issue. Of the prior replies all are in agreement. We will just have to wait and see if it is in fact the majority who think this way but if this is the case it highlights a problem. I run Urban Evasion, Iron Will, Self Care (which is the most important piece of my solo kit, a.k.a my normal kit) and a fourth perk which has been switched around a lot though I like Technician a bunch. I do my gens, I do what I aim to do which would be best described as being a 'gen jockey'. At this point I might just message every single killer I encounter... Her model is smaller and with the right outfit she's pretty much invisible compared to a P3 Claudette in the same area.
Hm. I'll have to test this. I imagine it's even harder to pick her out due to the darkening of her default hair.

If you're near the hook because 3 survivors are around and about to pull me of, I see that it's their fault, not the killer's. If you're camping because you need to proc a perk like Dying Light... Alright. I'll be annoyed but I'll understand. But when a killer camps for no justifiable reason then I start to get annoyed: especially if no gens have been completed and the killer decides that camping is absolutely necessary, then and there. But as I said before, survivors can technically camp and cause the hooked to be camped as well, along with future hook victims... It's a major pain to deal with but it's what happens.

I think for DbD players it's a little bit hard to get into it, because this game is all about ambush than direct chase, which is kinda refreshing. On the other hand it has it's own balance issues.Soul at Stake does seen fun, especially given never knowing where the killer is unless you put yourself in danger by turning and slowing down in a potential chase. If it comes to console the camera system will be tremendous due to the naturally lowered control over turning. Though Tyde being mentioned is only due to his video perhaps being the only one that actually attempts to analyse the game to the obvious comparisons that would be made (like those made between Friday and Dead By Daylight) and to see how it holds up, his video perhaps being the only one out so far to really analyse the game rather than simply play it. I will always enjoy listening to his explanations that inform even simpletons like me.

You know, cosmetics play a role in stealth too. It's much easier to hide as a P3 Claudette than a Gypsy Claudette.

Mind you, this happened on PS4..I became unable to move and interact in the first match I played with the update, on PS4 as well no less. It hasn't happened since but it was on an Asylum map (it may have been on the Crotus Prenn map) using the new Leatherface Dwight cosmetic. I disconnected as well and only disconnect during unfair situations, for example lag switchers or hackers, cheaters, killer+survivor teamwork (Unless it's just a ploy to try and survive, like if you're the last two. I did this and oddly enough the killer let me live for a while. But I'd never do it just to be an ass, A.K.A doing it to everyone and at all points during the match) and in situations like this. Also, I once had a locker spawn under a vault point in the new chapel map... Is that a thing that happens normally?

Tyde put Myers in the Top Tier with Nurse (should have put Nurse in all tiers as it is all dependent on the player, to being unstoppable to psychologically scarred from the bullying) and we are all living a pointless existence. I've been using it lately. I say it's actually really fun to use! Against Freddy it can be awesome, able to miss skill checks and not alert him. Though I'd rather the whole RNG was replaced with a cool down instead. I hate RNG to begin with...

Face camping exists. Killers do do it. Camping requires staying in a certain area for a prolonged amount of time.
Tunnelling exists. But I'd say you can only really say it's a problem when three other survivors are running in front of you in an effort to stop it. And if you then still try for the injured... Meh.
Define a crutch perk. Does Decisive Strike make up for the mistake of being caught? Yes. But does NoEd also then act in that fashion? You failed in killing them during the repairing generator phase and try to have a much easier second chance. Just like Decisive Strike once it's gone it's gone.
And crying about crying won't make the crying go away. People will just turn around to you and call you a hypocrite.
(I am a survivor main. But I play Killer when I get bored, so I know the bullshit of both sides...) -
When I first heard of Boil Over I thought it'd be a counter to Iron Grasp: perks seem to be made to naturally counter certain things like Technician for the Doctor's skill checks, Wake Up! for Freddy's Remember Me, etcetera. And when I heard of the concept of Boil Over, I was like "Yay! Awesome!" Then it turned out the struggling effects was just the weird wobbling. It can be as strong as 15% on tier 3, it'll still be better then its current version.

Why not have it start off with 4 tokens? It'd work like Hex: Thrill of the Hunt which gives a bonus to 'Devious' actions. Why not have it so that it gives bonus bloodpoints for all categories. Stacks are taken each time a survivor is hooked/downed and are restored once they are unhooked/healed back up.

Can't post screenshots due to being a Consoler but I've bought the Fog Traveller outfits for Claudette and Meg. I plan on getting more items for Meg, Claudette and Kate but who knows. I'll probably spend hundreds just for the outfits.

I've only had FPS drops when it comes to things like Hair Physics and Cloth Physics, when a Kate becomes visible through aura reading or something along those lines. Killer wasn't as smooth... But I was still able to 4 man. The end game screen though... Oof. I don't play Killer that much though, so I'd say I'm safe from that issue.
