True. But it definitly should do one of 2 things. 1) charge faster. OR 2) charge doing chases

No what hes saying does make some sense, yes killer can use auras to find you, but you can also use auras to find him. Aura reading like dark sense/bitter murmur augment the stealth game. knowing where the killer is going and what direction hes going is massive boon for stealth. Additionally if he also has his gen-finish-aura perk active you'll know if he finds you right after a gen completes, and then next time a gen completes you can fake him out , moment his aura disappears change direction.

I love love love the bitter murmur/dark sense perks on both killers and survs, cause it pulls people away from the generally toxic builds by one perk, or allows you to really pro stealth. They encourage mind game, and add to the field the more need for fakeouts even at a distance. gives stealth an active role instead of just a click simulator role, especially in SWF if you have only one person in your group running it.

Yet they nerfed sole survivor to absolute trash tier.

Oh them i dont mind i mean deliberately giving away your location multiple times just to pallet me or flash lighting me just because you could (if i got a survivor of if there behind a pallet i dont mind there saving a teammate and escaping that is fine) but following me around to flashlight me for fun i wont stand for

This isn’t s dick move, but gives me a FREAKIN HARD ATTACK: just walking along, chasing no one, only to get your soul crushed by a jump scare pallet. Or getting jump scared cuz a Dwight trying to chill with your hatchets

Not sure which one of us you’re talking to. I know it was Tapp in the ptb, but after a couple matches as Adam yesterday I wasn’t sure it had actually been changed. I’m sure I’ll notice once I can play him a few more times.

Stunning is NEVER a dick move. Flashlighting is only bad if it’s repeadtly spam clicking it just to bother you. Blinding at pallets or saving people obviously has its strategic uses

It's automatic, kid. If you think Nurse is not fine, you are part of the noobs.

Pretty sure if the killer side as a whole is weak af, but a single killer gets constant unavoidable 3k’s (hatch doing God’s work), then there’s 2 issues. One of which being nurse

But nerfing that one killer won't make the other killers more powerful.
Devs need to release some strong killers and buff all non meta killers hard.

Didn’t day it would honeybun. But yeah, most killers should be slightly weaker then hillbilly, and have the whole faction as a whole buffed as well

If you blow up a gen then it should be too hot to touch for like 15 seconds forcing you to either wait or go and search for a different gen.

As it is now, if you blow up a gen you only lose 4 seconds. Its not punishing enough, especially since most gens are by windows/pallets so even if the killer does come I can escape easily.

If this became a thing, I’d have to Eliot Rodgers a few solo players.

Giving up a perk slot for that perk isn't worth the bloodpoints. BBQ is way better plus killers get more bloodpoints than survivors.

WGLF is superior to BBQ because it´s way easier to get WGLF stacks than BBQ stacks. If i have a good match i leave with 50.000+ BPs as survivor. Without any offerings.

You’re high as a kite if you think WGLF stacks are easier to get. It literally relies on teammates failure, while you being there and NOT the other 2; AND almost never doing gens. It’s a recipe for disaster. Meanwhile BBQ gives you stacks for just not being complete #########

Let's see, unhooking someone and getting hit next to the hook = 2 stacks.
That's clearly harder than hooking every survivor once.

    /S

I have to agree that BBQ stacks are much easier to get than WGLF stacks tho.

Not for me. I usually get 2 stacks on a camping killer unhook. That´s really easy money. I rush in with BT.

I get the 4 stacks of BBQ way more frequently especially if i played well in that game than the WGLF (and if they are camping i am probably going to go to the hook)

I'll admit that with WGLF you can get them twice as fast though.

I´m used to drop everything the moment a survivor gets downed. Unless i use my scavenger build (Ace in the Hole + Plunderers) i equip Empathy and try to position myself close to the survivor, before he gets downed.

I like My gennies personally. Especially if there are 4 survivors (including me) il let them save them if possible.

I just go in for points. Unhooking nets way more points than the gen.

Gen makes people survive and "win". Saving means usually death (or a pip or both)

Oh i also do gens. But my priority are saves. I often equip We´ll make it.

I love we'll make it too.

I don’t. People just run away!

Easy solution! Unhook in front of the killer. He´ll down them for trying to run away, then you can heal them.

hahaha you really believe that? pallet looping being removed. with the mindset pallet looping will always be a thing. lol @ do not fear. get out of here with that. how exactly would the survivor evade then being hit with nothing to jump over or escape. the maps mechanics favour pallets and the overall lack of verticality of maps. if it had actual buildings to close doors or barricade yourself in then pallet looping would be gone. seen as it doesnt. well pallets aint going anywhere or looping lol. oh yeah before it was too easy wahh now survivors need more of a safe zone. than the easy mode they already have. good grief lol

They’ve already said several plans they have on nerfing pallets in general, especially in chases. They plan on adding Los breakers and dynamic map objects to help break a chase completely instead

    Yes and No.

Yes; If in the weird case they DID add comms, two things should happen:

    • Everytime survivors communicated they would have to give away their position, because it should effectively work as if you are calling out to one another.
    • If the killer was within 32 meters, they could hear the communication between survivors.

This could actually create for some interesting gameplay; on the other hand, I could see survivors being really fugking mean on comms, knowing that the killer could hear them.

No; Voice chat has the potential to create the greatest imbalance in the game, primarily due to the fact that there are four survivors, and one killer. As an example, you can easily communicate to one another where the killer is, thereby bypassing any real need to use detection perks.

    • John says "Yeah, I got him chasing me, I'm gonna loop him a bit, then pull him over to the killer shack; Cindy, can you take him from me for a bit?"
    • Cindy says "Ok, let me know when you vault inside, let him hit you, then run out and pallet it stun him, I'll take him from there."
    • Marci says "We're gonna be at the gen near the other one we finished."

    Later...

    • John says "Ok, I just vaulted inside... ready Cindy?"
    • Cindy says "Yeah go ahead."
    • John says "Oh crap, hey Marci he turned around, he's suspect of that skillcheck fail."
    • Albert says "Ugh, everyone head towards John and Cindy, I'll get the killer to follow me for a bit, let him hook me while you finish gens. I'm going to take him as far as possible from John and CIndy's current location. After you guys finish a Gen, come over and save me."
    • Cindy says "Ok, before the gen finishes I'll run back to keep an eye on the killer before coming to save you, if need be, I'll reel him away."

“let’s add a mechanic to make solo peeps as strong as SWF, but then do it half assed and let the killer hear it! HAR HAR HAR

  • There should be some jank ass Los breakers and blockers for stealth added. Like going down a narrow hallway and slamming a door etc. loopings too strong, stealth is too weak

This is nothing anywhere similar to camping, but nice try dude.

MUST I GO ON?!

Yea, please go on, because so far I haven't read anything valid. And I am dead serious about it.
    1. Camping does not "shut down oppenents" game, because the remaining survivor can act free.
    2. The killer at least needed to show skill to get that victim on the hook, so no, it is not comparable.
    3. Depends, since most survivor will feed camper it will become action if they really try to rescue versus a camper and the killer can get a crapload of points from it.
    4. Again, no. Because both might be "necessary" at some point, but one tactic is crippling the players game (killer) while for the other side it is the most efficient way to play.
    5. And one sides objective is going so fast that is a serious balance issue.

But, yea… totally the same thing. slowclap

TL;DR gen rushing sucks and there isn’t even a point in you continuing a refute. It does nothing for the sake of nothing.

Just take turns, anybody who is not chased is doing gens, healing is done by Self Care, only do save unhooks.
So you have 3 survivor doing objectives all the time, while one is wasting time looping.
Avoid diminishing returns in gen repair by doing gens separate until you need to push through the last one.

Survivors version of camping... SUCKS DOESN'T IT!?

Those are good suggestions and I'm wondering how much laughter we're giving the mods/devs for free? We should be getting free auric cells for the free entertainment value here. 😎

Hell yeah. Wonder how many auric cells would we have already. @RSB would have many as well!

I have no care for the Rocket Science Bastion, for I feel my need to express myself far outweighs literally anything else

It would be cool if you could make a resume, kinda like how you sign up for a job. Tell them why they should let you have a chance and make you a mod. :)

And yet the game has still shed 30% of its player base in the last 2 months. At least on the PC based on steam numbers. His "speed" is no greater than that of any other killer standard speed killer. But, yeah, let the nerfing begin for those easy wins, right?

But do anyother killers have gass to slow you down to 85 speed? And any other killer has counters like u can counter the chainsaw with walls and windows and trapper traps are one of the easiest things to counter hatchets are easy to counter what's the counter for his gass not a wall ur at 85 speed not a window instant slow vault not a pallet insta slow vault please tell me a counter to it

“Does literally any other killer besides nurse have blinks!?” No. And that’s how it should be.

Your right but 115 speed can easily catch 85 speed from running around the wall the window is on and can easily catch u even after breaking a pallet bc u stay at 85 speed for 2 min and he has ad-ons the make the time longer so he might as well have the blink ability with 115 speed

I get it, I’d be scared too if AN ABSOLUTE UNIT was barreling down on me.

That's... That's real life though... I can tell the difference between the two...

There is no real difference… there is another human being on the other side doing the tbag and he knows what he is doing and he knows that it is the equivalent of a raised middlefinger.
So there is one physical person that wants to insult the other. It doesn't get any milder by saying, "hey it was only on the internet". We are in 2018, kids literally kill themself about cybermobbing. And you can get arrested for hatespeech on internet forums. Does it matter to you if someone calls you an a-hole in your face or on the phone?

Do you put that much meaning into the voice chat kiddies that “totally” did your mom? No, no you don’t. Same goes here.

I don't think being a mod for the Dead By Daylight community is easy. You need to be mentally strong to be able to face trolls, toxicity on a daily basis. Filtering toxicity here is like exposing yourself to harmful radiation. I have great respect for the mods who actually do this job.

I don’t feel threatened by this, “radiation”. Am I the radiation!?
