Blight isn't a killer who gets exponentially better with m&k vs controller. If you're good with a controller, you're good with Blight. The only time it is even slightly an issue is post-slam lookabouts, but even then it's not a huge issue and can be heavily mitigated by being good at Blight.
On Xbox the Blight suffers from fps drops with each slam, and the game stutters with his injection animation when you then try to look around with Co. 21.
It is much worse on the indoor maps. Even with turning stuff you cannot swing him around fast enough anyway, he has no flick potential, and his lunge I'd say is wonky & agrivated by the frame drops.
The story might be different with a mouse, but that is not enabled on Xbox for this game sadly.

Don't underestimate the way of the console Nurse.
Yikes! Five gen slaughter. Although no one got much blood it was total domination! Ouch! Cause they were so bunched up they became slug food.
Two questions: why is the game so bright for ya? and what was that strange noise is that Whispers doing its thing? Prolly need a headset I wouldn't have heard that through the speakers from the couch!
Looks like PS4. I haven't faced an Xbox nurse in months. The rollercoaster frames we get make her harder to handle...
-
Any status effect triggering, like Bloodlust, Exposed, Sloppy, Haste, SB, Exhausted, etc.
Being hit with Franklin's, Myers teiring up, a gen popping close by, and the indoor maps too. Especially Lery's. For the love of the Entity Lery's. My game always stutters while loading this map and doing the camera spin, both roles.
Plus searching a chest can still kill a Surv struggling on hook.

This hits hard. Seriously so many adepts ive personally lost because survivors decide to dc and the pitiful deviousness bonus is nothing compared to the 3 hooks i would have gotten. Why don't dcs just count as full sacrifice anyway? I remember playing freddy for adept and people would insta dc when they saw the sleep bar. So im just like "welp adepts impossible now, Great..." survivors really should not dictate if the killer gets adept or not. I think for survivor does a killer dc still give adept since it counts as a escape now? And i understand "well dc penalties" yeah 5 minutes big whoop adept requires so much work it could turn into hours more of games for their 5 minute ban. I personally just hope in the future they give full hook points for a dc because it also means i get no hooks so perks like bbq i lose bp when a survivor dcs meaning i just lost 25%. It annoys me so much.
I think part of the reason for that half hook Quiter Bonus bp is because many survs still get disconnected from the game for bug/connection reasons which it cannot tell apart from a true dc, and are not really the fault of no one. I've gotten the penalties before for the game tossing my happy ass out.
I think the other survs in such a match also should get something for playing through a dc, and they should look at the killer adepts to make them more reasonable & in line with surv ones.

Same can be said for all current consoles, and prolly the lower end PC's as well. At some point they will not be able to handle it.

I used to tough it out like that but at this point I have 50 mirrors and half the time my map offerings get cancelled out, so I'm a bit tired of going through that suffering.
If one of us had put up a map offering, instead of the game itself deciding, I bet they would have left as well.

No, I used my last hawkins offering but I got Yamaoka.
A while ago a Shape put up Lery's for this build but got Red Forrest of all places, and no Surv had a map offering, so it was that tiny rng % at work. They stayed and fought it out (much respect for doing so) and they got a few hooks but no kills.

Players have complained about bug fixes before because they were fixes to things they were used to exploiting.
A mil on Steam? Had no idea. Wonder how many are still active, and the numbers on the other platforms. I feel us Xboxers are a tiny community compared to the whole.
-
I swear the root of soooo many complaints here is being dedicated only to Surv or to Killer. The lack of understanding both roles at least competently imo leads to tons bias.
-
Her perks go with her? Cause I doubt many would support that...
-
Dr (now or in his prior form) is much more annoying to face rather than particularly dangerous. Newer Dr is much better at handling loops and vaults, and terrible with a 3-gen, in skilled hands. Plus since no one runs his hard counter Calm Spirit he will find you.
But for all that he still must hit twice like most of the others, and dropping pallets or vaulting early also leave him behind. More annoying than leathal imo.

I think they should really consider buffing the turn speed to be full mouse movement as well as the nerf and buff he's getting. They want people to predict survivor movements and hit them through walls etc, yet the turn speed is so slow and clunky that even when you get a hit it's not even remotely satisfying because his camera control is so unintuitive. Making it unrestricted would allow people to actually play him the way the Devs intended while also giving him a pretty high skill ceiling, because you'd have to practice your aim (plus I wanna 360 hit people through walls, it'd be ######### hilarious)
How would such an unrestricted movement change work on console, where any killer cannot turn anywhere near as quickly, let alone PH?

Base kit I can see an argument for that, but currently it feels like half her add-ons are actually detrimental to her. If I may ask as well, is this ALL ranks she's doing well in or purple and up?
In theory the skill-check add-ons are a nice idea, but the fact that they still use the standard skill-check a competent player can hit in their sleep, combined with the Great result boosting progress on the box search means that those add-ons actually hurt the Pig player using them.
Another huge example that I can think of is Amanda's Letter compared to Wraith's All-Seeing Blood. All-Seeing Blood has zero downsides and is a purple where Letter is pink and takes away a large portion of the Pig's primary power with no real boosts to the secondary power. The only advantage Pig has here is that she can come out of stealth faster, but this can be technically balanced out my the fact that she is far slower in her stealth mode.
No matter how you rank her as a killer, no one can argue her add-ons need lovin badly. Most do not help her where she needs it most, in chase and traversing the map. A couple outright hurt her, and can teach bad habits which lean towards a tunneling gameplay as well.
-
I'd say too harsh. The reasons this perk has seen much more use is its anti-slug intention plus the devious combos possible. Take those various pairings away and Soul Guard replaces it until this treatment is applied to that as well.
Most will also see this proposal as an attack on DS I bet.

Completely agree with you, there are consolers who know how to play this game....the non stop stabs at consoles seems kinda crazy when there are many potatoes on pc...I get it, there are a lot of casuals on console(reclining in a lazy boy playing a game casually) is not the same as sweating it out with ur gamer chair and $250 headset and pc that can run the frames optimally. I thought people wanted crossplay so you can get games faster and all it has shown me is that some pc gamers would rather act like they are superior because they take their hobby way more seriously than I do
There is much moist thuthiness in here. Although I use a decent headset (more for streaming reasons mainly) I've teamed up with fellow Xbox peeps litterally across the room on their couch on Wi-Fi borowwing their lil sister's one-ear headset, and all talking into said headset together. Hard to call that set-up sweatsville...

Basically this. I've personally seen as killer and played survivor alongside console survivors that clearly have game knowledge and mechanical skill to play competently. I've seen enough potatos on PC solo queue for years before crossplay and even now to try and attribute it to only one side and most of you should do the same.
Now console killers on the other hand... Crummy auto aim in this game on its own not to mention joystick aiming screws their radial turning limits which hurts them on any higher skill ceiling killers like Huntress or Nurse but even for basic M1s or Chawsaw/Oni Bat flicks. It's usually fairly easy to tell when someone is a console killer even at R1 just from doing a few 360s and seeing them whiff far too many times to be normal.
Being a console killer has always been a challenge due to fps mainly. It is my largest concern with Crossplay as well.

@AntonioIun said:
It would be nice if they made it so you can select who you can be matchmaked with because I have no problem playing with other console players as our issues are pretty much the same (lag, frames, controller aim etc. Etc) but personally i very much dislike going against pc since their movements and aim are in all honesty superior the majority of the time, plus they dont have coldwind making your eyes hurt everytime due to how pixilated the screen gets sometimes to the point where you might be lucky to see scratch marks
I too have Crossplay with off, as killing is just so terrible with the fps drops, despite the recent patches helping slightly, so I get this. Surviving isn't so noticable but killing still is, especially in the indoor maps.

How is this relevant? If you care about M&K buy a PC... why play on a console when you bother about such things... or just turn of crossplay.
It's all about the huge frame differences between PC and a console, where a consistent 30 fps is unheard of. I turned off Crossplay day one for this very reason, killing was all but impossible.
Besides the cost of a new PC capable of handling DBD, remember there is no Cross Progression for consoles either. So we'd have to buy the game again, all DLC again, any wanted cosmetics again, oh and all characters are back to level 1 so we'd have to grind again as well.
Would you be willing to do all that?

Tell that to SupaAlf, best Nurse on PS4.
Another reason I'd favor Crossplay between just the consoles, as I've never faced a good Xbox nurse. The rare nurse I get is not getting a kill unless the survs screw around, even in solo. The fps won't allow it.
I wonder if there's a frame difference even between an Xbox and a PS.....

On PS4, turned it off after first day. Combination of bad console optimization, felt more laggy/glitchy when crossplay on, and nonstop bad experience with teammates from other platforms.
Same for me and my Xbox. The frames trying to hunt are just brutal.

Tunneling a surv with a hat is a terrible strat imo, but the vast majority of her add-ons are partly to blame as those do not help her track, move, or in looping, but only affect the hats and boxes, and poorly might I add.
Anyone playing Pig long enough should outgrow this tactic, however she soooooo needs an overhaul of most of her add-ons.

I'm not saying you can't, what I'm saying is for killers to have the ability to turn 'match with SWF' off. You can still play, but only with killers that don't mind SWF
No killer will ever willingly play against a known SWF. None. I won't either. No bloodpoints or conditions will change that imo. They'd never get matches, queue times soar, and the largest portion of the players start leaving the game entirely.
It's too late for that. Must find another way to level the field, like improving the info for solos and then buffing killers accordingly.

Sorry you got some of those (rare) squads that run circles around a killer, and also sorry they turned out to also be some of those (much less rare sadly) toxic & abusive teams that give the whole a rotten reputation.
I'd be interested in knowing your preferred killer(s), perk loadout, maps you struggle on, hrs in game, and the like. Maybe we can give you pointers or some guidance to handle a possible SWF a lil easier.
If the devs let a killer know in pregame they're facing even a 2-man SWF they'll dodge, every time, and so would I. So any SWF would never find a game and queue times worsen. I also believe giving Bloodpoint bonus, or changing the # of perks or the # of gens or whatever will not prevent such dodging.
I do think solo survs and then killers need a boost to level against any coordinated team, and I have no problem really with saying who was in a SWF in post-game.
But it comes down to your mental health. Play survivor or even another game of this one stresses way too much. We all have taken breaks from DBD to chill and reset ourselves, it is normal, especially playing killer.

First time I’ve heard this from anyone, always wondered how things were on PC side of DBD as far as wearing out mouses, keyboards, etc.
I go thru a PS4 controller every 4-6mths. Usually, it’s the left joystick that has been wearing out an snapping.
Hopefully you can get a keyboard to plug into your laptop.
Wondered this as well. I wear out an Xbox1 controller like four times a year, mainly the "A" button, mainly due to DBD.
For us noob consolers: what tf are "Macros"?

Wrong answer. I don't dodge SWF unless I'm exhausted. If I recognize them I Mori one immediately. Since I play Mikey that is easier for me than for some. I want people to be able to play with their friends. I just think they belong in their own que, so Solo doesn't keep paying the price for us doing what we gotta do to level the playing field. I believe there should be two Ques.
Solo Que: Up to two people can join these Lobbies together, so limited Friends. No Identity information should be shown until after the match ends to prevent setting up Comms on the fly.
Group/Team Que: Groups of 3 or 4 may join these Lobbies. Groups must turn on one additional Generator to open the gates, i.e. a 3-Person SWF must activate five Generators, and a 4-Person SWF must turn on six. The Killer also gets a 5th Perk unlocked. Killers will be happy to fight these challenges on a level playing field.
*This method allows the DEV to balance for the Group/Team Que without punishing the Solos in the process. The suggestions I make for balance can be increased or decreased as necessary.
Imo no amount of bloodpoints, changes to # of gens or # of perks used will stop nearly all killers from dodging a known SWF. Including me.
If they queue SWF separately they wil never find killers to take them on. The devs have said they won't consider Crossplay just between consoles because it splits up the community rather than bringing together, and this method also splits.
As far as I can see the devs will not change SWF at all, and any suggestions they might consider would involve only buffing solos and then killers.

It is possible that when pressing space bar to hook someone, nothing happens. It can be solved by either spamming space bar or dropping the survivor and picking them up again.
I personally never had it, but saw it on different streams
Spaming a trigger (I play on xbox) does not work. When I get this bug I have to drop the surv at least twice, and very often they are gone off the shoulder with the second pick-up. Very fustrating, no matter the stun duration.

It's because the game would hitch to spawn the item in the chest, which affects EVERY player in the game including killer. If a survivor is on the hook it will interrupt their inputs and they die. I've seen it like 100 times, and everyone I play with knows to not search a chest if someone is on a hook in stage 2.
@ill_Boston_lli is someone I play with all the time and he can confirm it happens. I can forward any of my friends to you as well.
If your friends say it doesn't happen then chances are they don't know about it.
Sadly I'm not even sure if I could prove it to you now because the chest search animation is changed and the game doesn't hitch when opening a chest now.
Also bloodlust makes killer's game freeze for a second the same as Sloppy.
All this stuff has been in the game for a long time. I know I've submitted bug reports of some things but they never get fixed.
EDIT: Here is a thread I made back in January about it. It got moved to bug reports and was never technically addressed.
No doubt I have evidence of these fps drops in many of my YT vids. I'll go through them when I get a chance

Seriously. This is a competitive game whether you admit it or not. It has 2 sides each with an opposing objective so they compete. The complaint I keep seeing in various forms is "that's not fun for the other side" In any other game with a multiplayer, when has the other side give a damn about someone else's fun? Do you see people in fortnite, overwatch, CoD, They fall saying "you shouldn't do that. Not because it's effective but because it's no fun for me". Killer, survivor, doesn't matter. If you want both sides to have fun then the game cannot be competitive. If your not having fun move onto the next match or take Kote's advice and "Play something else".
For me fun ,or at least not a stressful nightmare, shoukd be the goal for both sides. What a side complains about is likely an effective method that directly interupts the other, the further unbalanced the more yelling.
That magic impossibility would be to unlearn the toxic and/or sweat tactics that infuriates a side, but there's the catch. Survs don't wanna be slugged, killers refuse to be stunned and hate DS and the 118 other things you can try to pull off with DS, and so on. All of it can be devastating and heartbreaking. But dammit they work. It's a vicious cycle.
