Posted this idea in the Feedback area responding to ditching map offerings, but want more discussion about it, and to brainstorm ideas. Many players, in particular those in the role of the killer, view Map Offerings as an offensive method of grossly tilting a trial in favor of one side. One of my favorite games ever, 2014's The Long Dark, just released a dev update from Hinterland Studios, also a Canadian company, albiet smaller. In it he reviews their recent Story Mode release, known issues, runs through their bug hunt process, and that they're skipping their annual Halloween event in favor of an important Sandbox Mode update. I've heard that if you have DBD on disc (not through digital download) there's no save progression to the newer console either, no different than going over to PS or PC is this true? Would someone in that situation have to restart from scratch and rebuy & regrind everything? Looking for some non-pay perk builds for the Pig. She struggles mightily on the larger maps imo. I tried Whispers for a bit, and although I have a decent headset my own poor hearing nullifies its usefulness for me. Other perks at my disposal don't seem to combo well with her power.
