Well that's not the only thing you said. "Your suggestion to show the Killers add ons is NOT equivalent to seeing items."
But regardless, it's still bad that killer get to see survivor items in lobby. It just encourages hosing gameplay and that is never good. Item like broken key + Weddng Ring for instance never see play because doing so is basically invitng a death sentence hen all you wanted was an aura-reading item.
As you yourself have said, knowing survivor item loadout is not powerful.
So why not just remove it?
It just promotes sweaty gameplay and discourages survivors from using items. Items are mostly crap already as it is there's no need to give killers information on the loadout.
The problem there is the fact the broken key has the same model as regular keys, which is ridiculous and should be fixed.
It has nothing to do with the fact you can see items in the lobby.
I said knowing the item loadout is less powerful than knowing the perks, but I still think not seeing the items would be too powerful, e.g. I don't know whether to bring Franklin's if I see 4 medkits, or whether to bring an Iri Head if I see a key.

The more I see of this the less I think it fits with the horror theme, but whatever

Why sad though? I thought forums are about discussing and making theories about the dbd content? This is like one of the main reasons of this page
I just felt sad when I was discussing cleavage and curvature

Nowhere did he suggest you should be able to see the killer's addons.
In the first post he mentions that we can't see the killers add-ons but we can see survivor items.
So I felt I needed to explain why that is a very unreasonable comparison to make.

Quinton doesn't look very mainly, he's quite lanky. the facial structure of the new killer/survivor is manly and the body build doesn't look very feminine. The chest is flat and the hips are straight.
You can see a tiny bit of cleavage, I think the pattern on the dress just hides the chest depth to an extent. The hips are clearly curved.
I feel sad even discussing this, let's just wait and see I guess.

Unfair the game Caters to the killer enough you most be a killer only player to even suggest that it’s unfair.
You'd have to be a survivor only player to think otherwise.
Your suggestion to show the Killers add ons is NOT equivalent to seeing items. If you saw the add-ons, then you would know what Killer they are playing. This would make killers like Myers, Wraith, and Ghostface very rough to play, they depend on the element of surprise at the start of the game to get the ball rolling. Seeing their add-ons would make them almost unplayable. You should be able to find out what the Killer is fairly quickly into the trial.
Compare this to survivors, yes you can see items, but survivors have a lot of powerful second chance perks that a Killer has to guess and play around (DS, Unbreakable, Deliverance, BT, For the people, too many to list). If you think showing items is unfair, I don't think you understand the game well enough.

It's nowhere near as bad as the red glyph challenges.
Disagree, I've yet to have any red glyph not be found within one trial, so the "find 4 glyphs" is easily done in 4 trials.
Whereas the 15 totem one would take 3 games at best, but it's very unlikely you can get 5 totems in one trial without someone else doing a totem, or you getting hooked/dying. I think I was averaging 2-3 totems a game so this challenge ended up taking me over 5 games.

It is a transgender character judging by the body shape. And the form of the jaw and the shadows in it its another pointer of it. I don't think its a beard, if you are a man you have that shadow under your jaw even if you have your beard fully shaved 😂
I disagree, I don't think the shoulders, arms, or hands, look particularly manly
-
No I think it's fine.
I think it would be unfair to not know you are going into a game with a key, as it changes the tactics you need to play to win, to some extent.

And there's an in-game report system for people who do this which gets them banned. I'm well aware because I've gotten people banned for telling me to, in less polite words, go commit the die, and who've dropped the f- and n- slur to me 😘
Sure but I mean harassed as in tunneled or camped etc, or just BM'd more than usual. Would be difficult to report someone for that as there is no evidence they did so based on the LGBT character.
Based on the amount of slurs I see in chat on this game I wouldn't be surprised
-
It's probably the same reason kids bully at school, I think survivors feel like they can gang up on the Killer and get some sort of mental boost from the extra post-game BM.
I think it's mostly survivor mains who do so though, I think people who play both sides will usually just leave, or wait for free hits.
Either that or they feel they have a reason to BM: (you camped, you tunneled, or you tried to kill them)

Correct, it shouldn't matter. But it does, because people still get bullied and harassed on the basis of their identities and how they express themselves. So until this is no longer the case, an LGBT+ people are still fully normalised (I mean, for ######### sake there are still countries where if you're openly gay you can be put to death), representation is needed.
Now they could potentially be harassed in-game based on it, too!

Matchmaking does suck yeah, too many high ranked survivors for not enough high ranked killers, so basically everyone has to play the high rank survivors.
You done well with those perks though! Huntresses perks are garbage though so you might as well use other basic perks like Whispers and Sloppy Butcher (keep Hex Lullaby for now).
-
All of the survivors who care about ranking up probably game back when de-sync and unbroken emblem were fixed, so we're back to having way too many good survivors for too few skilled Killers.

Maybe you never played against Iri Head but it's not fun.

People are gonna facecamp. It's up to you to deal with it how you wish.
OP is simply proposing a strategy to make face camping less effective, which if everyone adopted, you'd probably see less face camping.
But yeah, you go and make assumptions about the OP, see where that gets you.
-
Blight.
Not only is his power fun to use, but it has levels of mastery to it, and makes him very viable and pretty dangerous on most maps, with the right perks.
Also, doing his power up and over a hill and catching some air never gets old. One day I want to do this into a lethal rush hit on a gen whilst undetectable from Tinkerer, but I didn't get the RNG yet for a hill aligned just right with a gen.

You mean it can be unbalanced for killer? The truth of the matter is killer perks can actually win the game. A hard to find Ruin totem on a killer keeping good pressure means a win in the pocket. Survivor perks keep getting nerfed to make it easier for killers. Perhaps you faced a few sweaty SWFS that was too good but killers do have it easier than they've ever had it. Maps getting nerfed with deadzones. Killers can down with little effort on some maps.
It's literally the best time to be a killer main.
If you are managing to keep up pressure on 4 players then surely you deserve to win, regardless of if your Ruin is up or not.
For every game where your Ruin totem is well hidden, you get 2 games where it spawns on a hill 20m from survivors and is gone within half a minute..

I'm not seeing the problem.
The fact there was an obsession could be enough to make you not tunnel, since you don't know which survivor may have DS.
With the proposed changes, you'd be able to tunnel freely as you know exactly who to slug, because a timer appears by their name.
I hate DS (when used aggressively), but I still think this would be bad to add as then DS is completely useless as an anti-tunnel perk anymore.
DS is gonna be much less of an issue with the changes anyway.

I already know when they don't have it when I see no Obsession.
That's totally different. When you see an Obsession you know 1 out of 4 survivors, at least, is running an obsession perk, which is most likely going to be DS. It isn't always going to be the obsession either.
If there was a DS timer, you would know, with 100% certainty, the very survivor which has DS when they are unhooked.

I think the coming nerf of ds is a drop in the ocean, what I offered is that will not globally weaken the total domination of survivors in game.
At least as long as there are imbalanced perks such as the decisive strike, borrowed time, dead hard, and unbreakable, maps such as gideon meat plant, hawkins laboratory, haddonfield etc. the game will not be fine. And this is not another whining, these are facts.
Decisive Strike will be far less unbalanced in a few months.
Given the rate devs listen to advice and implement requested features, we are extremely unlikely to see such a DS timer implemented in the timeframe before the perk is planned to be nerfed. Let's see if the perk is still a big issue then!
-
How long is much longer? Maybe reset the game?
-
I'll go for the rescue if the survivor on the hook was a wholesome and/or team player. I'll also go for the rescue if gens flew by and the game was easy, might as well give the Killer an opportunity for more chases.

So, doing Gens and unhooking is unfair now? Uff.
Dont want to ruin it for you, but you would lose against 4 good Solos as well. 4 good Solos are way better than the usual SWFs who are running around.
(Except you say that you got one of the really good SWFs two times in a row - then you were pretty unlucky since those are rare)
He obviously meant the co-ordination around the timing of the gens and unhook were unfair, not the actions themselves.
I don't think "good" SWFs will be rare if MMR actually becomes a thing (if it's not already on)
Also good is relative anyway, Dragonsenshi could be new at the game, so even a SWF with 50-100 hours could be problematic.

And Killer never sweat huh? When I press rdy with a rank 20 immersed claudette and 2 other default skinned survivors they usually die all three within a minute with 5 Gens left. While the killer with ruin undying tries to 4man slug as fast and as brutal as possible.
What do I wanna say with that? I know it's hard to believe bc you probably only play survivor when there is a challenge or a daily, but that is not a survivor sided thing it's actually a mentality that appears in any game. So yea actually there are many r1 killer sweating their balls off against r20s.
I didn't say Killers do not sweat. But yeah slugging to that extent is often necessary when a team can do 3 gens in a minute or 2.
But yeah please show me my messages in this thread where I said Killers do not sweat.
Also you are wrong, I play survivor quite often, not as much as Killer, but it's not just for dailies like you are assuming.
And finally, I even said multiple times I have no problem with gen-rushing, it is necessary, my problems were with the unnecessary BM'ing combined with meta perks + swf + map offering
You know, it's funny as someone actually asked me to 1v1 them and said they'd pay pal me £100 if I got a hit.
This was after I beat them in a 4v1 (I didn't even basement camp this game, I had a more normal build on, but that was a hook bombing, teabagging SWF too)
-
You know I've been really tempted to make Bubba my main, whatever build he has you can fallback on some good old fashioned hook camping when you're facing annoying survivors
-
@Gaffy said:
Well what do you expect? They finally fixed dsync so good survs can actually start playing the game properly again.
I have no problem with good survivors smashing gens out quickly, it's more the SWFs with favourable map offerings, flashlight clicking, meta-perks, and co-ordinated body blocking I'd rather not deal with

Gotta pressure gens more! Remember the first couple of gens normally go fairly quick but then it is common for the killer to make a comeback.
I've always struggled with fractured cowshed, and allowed myself to be baited into a shack case right off the bat. Still learning Blight too (maybe 20 hours in him), so against good survivors I still struggle a bit on many loops.
-
I just made a thread about a similar experience. Literally my first game as Killer (I played 5 games of solo survivor first) since the update, and I get a SWF with flashlights with coldwind offering and Fractured Cowshed. Feels bad man

@Dingo88 said:
Am I bad player if a lose alot of games because I want to learn how to use huntress properly
Well, technically you are a bad player if you lose, but everyone starts bad. You need to practice, and yes that will mean losing a lot of games until you get good.
But dude, this game is super unbalanced, there are maps were the Huntress can be looped indefinitely, there are indoor maps (usually good for Killers) which the Huntress struggles on because she cannot do long range hatchets. There are survivors on this game with 5000 hours who will have no problem looping and mind gaming you for days.
Go and watch some Huntress streamers, I'd recommend FreakyMy or CoconutRTS. These guys have LOTS of hours on this game (Coconut especially, he's like top 5 for bloodpoints in the world). Even he does not 4K all the time. He drops 2, 1 or even 0Ks occasionally, because he faces top opponents, and this game is fundamentally unbalanced.
So NO, you are not a bad player for losing.
Just know that Huntress, in my opinion, is one of the hardest Killers to play, she can get punished by good survivors.
Don't focus on winning, or even killing. Just focus on quick chases, and getting hooks.
Also watch Scott Jund's Huntress guide on youtube, it helped me.

I had that the other day being double body blocked from hooking someone the trick is to hit the survivor then u can hook. Happened to me playing wraith or was it hag? Regardless just hit them and then you'll be able to hook.
Yes but the cooldown from a successful hit takes about 2 seconds, you have to hit them twice I think to down them. When you hit a survivor they do not collide with you anymore (they can walk through you), but I think they still block the hook, so I think you need to down them.
Regardless, there was 2 of them crouching at the hook, so even if it was only 1 hit to both of them, that's 4 seconds of cooldown I have (plus the time taken to actually attack), I'd already walked for about 7 seconds to the hook, so it was easily enough time for the person to escape.

I'm sorry for any bad Killers you met, genuinely. However when you use a phrase like "most Killers" I just can't help but not believe you. I also play survivor and I don't encounter toxic Killers that often.
In my post I'm just recounting one scenario from one match (which happened to be the first Killer match I played since the patch, which stung a bit). I'm not saying ALL survivors are problematic, just the ones in this game. Whereas you are saying "most Killers", which is just false.
But again, sorry for any games where you came across bad Killers. Most of us just want to play the game normally.

every kind of grab not working has a bigger effect on the game than the minor desync. I played survivor last week and it wasn't that bad. 2 week fix vs....ongoing for years and years now?
Half of the killers still have bugs which eat into their gameplay too but hey lets remember the 1 or 2 times something got done for killer and forget the 100 or 200 times survivor got preferential treatment
Yeah I also found the de-sync to not be THAT bad, I was still escaping games at a normal rate (about 50% or so? I'm not too great a survivor), with the desync issues

Take note. When survivors are unhappy they stop playing and the developers get things done pretty damn fast.
When killers are unhappy they sit there and take it and the developers put all their problems on the back burner for years.
Those two things are not a coincidence.
I don't really want to fault the devs for fixing the de-sync issues quickly. It would have been unacceptable for them to not.

I don't know about you, but that's been like that ever since the new patch. People just gen rushing like maniacs.
I don't have a big problem with "gen-rushers". At the end of the day, survivors have to do gens, and getting gens done quickly is important as they don't know they are facing a good Killer until it is too late, so popping 2 gens straight away is basically a requirement to pressure a decent Killer. Whilst annoying, gen-rushing is necessary, and a key Killer skill is to learn how to prevent this, through pressure, perks, or both.
What I DO have a problem with is teams who burn a map offering for the most survivor sided map in the game, and then play in ways that seem to just deny the Killer fun. It was literally my 2nd hook of the game and there was 1 gen left, I was absolutely getting demolished. They had no need to deny me of that hook, and a double body block is just excessive (1 would have done!). They would even get more points if they allow me to make the hook, as they then get points to unhook. It's just clear they were playing to troll Killers.

I take it you are a solo queue player? Same here.
As a solo queue player who also plays Killer, you get the worst of both sides. You have to play against SWFs when Killer (not always, but you will face them at all ranks), and as a Survivor you get the worst survivor experience, which is not being in a SWF, and sometimes you'll get paired with bad players.

I still play her occasionally, I just didn't want to get too used to her and keep practicing normal M1 killers, to keep practicing the basics.

What are you talking about? Nobody would play Trapper or Myers in a tournament anyway, they only play the strongest killers so perma ruin is just stupid.
Yes, because only 2 killers are viable in a tournament, because DBD is an unbalanced mess.
I'm saying IMAGINE a tournament where it was possible to play most of the roster, or more specifically, imagine a version of the game were things are tweaked to the extent were gen speeds are more manageable and this is possible. Perma-ruin would be one tweak possible within the current game that could be made towards that goal, I think true is trying to start some sort of movement to that state, with whatever means he can.
But yeah maybe such a game is just so far away from the current mechanics of DBD that is utterly unimaginable.
