tapping a gen shouldnt remove DS it should make it lose its time like 8x faster or like 12% faster while doing something that currently removes it this would allow you to tap a generator but you wopuld lose it fast for working on it. Tapping a generator is strategic if you pallet stun and there is a gen around like (2m) i would 99.9% of the times go for a .1sec tap to stop it from regressing now tell me why that should break an perk made for anti tunneling? and give me a good reason why you shouldn't be able to tap a generator while getting chased in this case tunneled... now i dont hear survivors crying about noed. Now i understand that DS isnt really skillbased which is pretty sad but just the tapping thing really bugs me. I dont see a reason why you shouldnt be able to tap a generator. right now its possible to have a generator regress for 50 sec because you couldnt tap it and teammates are doing other gens i understand if working on it removes DS fine but being on it for half a second doenst mean that u arent getting tunneled!

It took 4 years to finally balance this perk

DS nerf was NOT AT ALL needed. It was survivors' only ticket to survival against tunneling and consecutive hooking with 60 seconds. And now it is gone if you repair, cleanse, heal, etc. Now more killers will enjoy tunneling, calling themselves pro killers and add to the toxicity.

How about the Devs do something meaningful for a change and resolve the tunneling and camping issue? Do you think low rank players enjoy getting tunneled and camped?

Also what next? Gen repair nerf or surv sprint speed nerf? Killers need to up their gameplay and strat, not have everything spoonfed by the game. And I say this as a killer myself. It disgusts me to see killers come crying here requesting for surv nerfs.

I would also reduce the duration to 30 seconds

Problem is that since there are 4 survivors, maps will always be in their favour.

I don’t understand what you mean, I mean that before searching for a match, players choose a pool of maps they want to play on.

In the case of swf teams, the map is selected before the start of the search, in which case will have to enter the lobby leader like in csgo who will select the map.

bhvr do not even need to invent anything, everything has long been invented in other games, they are even too lazy to borrow something from another game.

I don't think that would improve the health of the game in the slightest. Also with DS getting a rework that's going to be less of an issue - there'll be a lot less abuse of the perk.

As a killer, you shouldn't be made aware of whether or not the survivor has DS unless it's used on you - the obsession signal is enough to show you that someone has an obsession perk and then you know that DS is likely. I think it's up to the killer to keep count of the 60s.

I think the coming nerf of ds is a drop in the ocean, what I offered is that will not globally weaken the total domination of survivors in game.

At least as long as there are imbalanced perks such as the decisive strike, borrowed time, dead hard, and unbreakable, maps such as gideon meat plant, hawkins laboratory, haddonfield etc. the game will not be fine. And this is not another whining, these are facts.

As one of the top leaderboards slinger players (https://dbd.onteh.net.au/playerstats/76561198055397106), I can safely say he doesn't need any buffs, he's already really strong killer.

If any changes should be done, it should be both, buffs paired with nerfs. For example, adding M2 release delay (to lessen the issue with M2 spamming) while giving him small number buffs to compensate.

I personally don't think he needs any changes at all.

Could you send a video of how you play or some other strong player playing on deathslinger ? Maybe I'm not playing it right.

I find Deathslinger 10x stronger than Oni, Blight or Bubba. But that’s because I’m really good with my aim. Sometimes it’s not a case of a killer being stronger than another, it’s about your skill level when it comes to that killer. I see a lot of people say that Spirit is one of the strongest but I personally hate playing as her. I just don’t like her gameplay. Whereas I feel strong and confident in my abilities when I play as somebody like Deathslinger or Myers.

His only downside is how slow he is, but if he was made any faster he’d be OP as hell.

I’m used to being a sniper when I play my FPS games, so quick scoping is something that comes natural to me. In the right hands, Deathslinger is a machine.

Maybe this is not my killer, but still, it seems to me that he is random when the survivor starts to dodge because the speed of the harpoon is 40 m/s (like a fullcharge huntress hatchet), At least I would make the speed of the harpoon more so that it would instantly reach the target (hitscan mechanics)

Also a big miss penalty because of which survivor can keep a sick distance.

  • @Jarol said:

It is somewhat weak only because of the ability of not being able to reach the other half of the map quickly, it is somewhat weak that the harpoon does not reach more than 16 meters, but personally, Deathslinger is somewhat weak, but his perks are ultra weak and useless almost for nothing.

    harpoon range 18 meters.

I don’t find him weak in the slightest. I also love the way his current power works and I don’t want him turned into a Bubba hybrid.

What makes you say he’s weak? Do you struggle to land shots or something?

Of course, it's difficult to shoot, but recently I started playing it and you feel that it is weaker than the same bubba or my favorite blight and Oni.

The question is why is it needed then? If I can choose a stronger killer. My idea is to bring all killers to roughly the same strength.

I thought the slowdown was 10% too in which case giving yellow antidote with no cooldown will be used over purple one. Are you sure its 15%?

  • Guys, i know what I know it seems a little strong, but do not forget that the T3 still needs to be recruited and it lasts 60 seconds. I think that the movement speed and speed of breaking pallets is exactly what Michael needs. Firstly, it would be canonical, and secondly, he will no longer be fun for the survs, but a serious rival. Although what I'm talking about, there are more than half of the survivors playing with the decasive strike and deadhard while whining on the spirit and nurse.

  • @RepostRiposte said:

I don't think you realize how fast 5.0 m/s is. That's like a constantly phasing Spirit who can insta-down and medium vault.

Spirit during power speed 176 % without addons, I suggest making Michael 125% during T3. I think is balanced buff.
