Looks like I can't counter keys anymore. 😓
Nope, you can't, sorry. Even if you tunnel them out the game, the key will still be there on the ground.
Then people wonder why killers feel like the devs are survivor biased and don't want to play killer.
-
They will never have a separate queue for swf, it would just make the lobby times longer. Swf are what bring in players and money, if the devs do anything to mess with them, the game will die. It sucks, but it is what it is. I just gave up on killer and only touch the role for the rift if it has any cosmetics I want.
-
Because they couldn't figure out how to make it not affect the new vaccine item survivors need when facing the new killer.
In other words, incompetence.
-
For me, in either role, run is when everything is as fair as can be and no one is playing toxic. No t-bagging, tunneling or camping from the start, no clicky clicky flashlight vault spamming come get me survivor, and everyone is around equal skill.
The equal skill is the biggest factor. Its not fun stomping my opponent in either role.
-
I just want this to play every time someone steps into a trap:

It sucks that its been so long, but if you're desperate for Blood Points, you could always play killer with BBQ and make my solo survivor queue time a little less long 😋

Yes, but most survivors at red rank can last more than five seconds.
Even if that's the case, then it still is the best choice to go after the weakest looper.
-
@WexlerWendigo said:
Tunnelling is almost always a terrible strategy anyway, zero pressure is being applied.
Depends on who the target is. If its the poor potato that goes down in 5 seconds, then it's really the best choice. If the killer gets rid of someone asap, then they remove a lot of pressure and can stress a little less.

It doesn’t seem remotely similar to DBD though. Seems more similar to L4D.
Yea, I know, I'm just hoping against hope that it will hurt this game a little just to see if the devs would actually take risks and breathe life into this game.
-
I hope it does really well, need competition to improve this game while also needing a new game to take a break from DbD.
-
The original Devil May Cry and the Ninja Gaiden reboot that came out on the first Xbox.
-
Those images are missing fire. Lots and lots of fire. If they ever introduce a bug killer that summons centipedes, I'll probably quit the game.
-
Seems like you only made this thread because you wanted to complain about Behavior and not because you care about PC players. I'm on PC and I see one or two every other match, we are just diluted due to the fact there are more console players.

It is even worse with Make Your Choice. But nothing will be done about it, so just suffer through it.

He has a red add-on that allows traps to reset once every 30 seconds. Is that what you're describing?

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't the idea of MMR that you play enough rounds that the system more accurately gauges your personal skill and starts to slot you in with Killers and other Survivors who have an equal skill level to yours? If so then we can all expect a lot of randomness for awhile as the game tries to pin that down (assuming it will eventually work!). I know that I'll have three or four really good rounds and then play like a potato the rest of the night so unless this system is really intelligent it's going to have a hard time placing me. I'll probably yo-yo back and forth from different competency tiers.
Your are correct, though the system has been collecting data on us for a while even though it hasn't been implemented into matchmaking, so it should be doing a better job. I've noticed it doing well for me with matching me verses killers towards my level, but it was terrible with my teammates.

Best stealth killer is Deathslinger tbh
Nah, the best stealth killer are immersive survivors who don't know the meaning of objectives. They kill their team from within.

none really I was exaggerating, perks aren't the issue though, maps and tiles are and have been for the longest time, people are far too focused on things they don't like VSing.
But for what it's worth, OoO was changed because it was strong, Lucky break was changed from PTB because it was "op" and now I've only vsed it once, bt was nerfed and buffed but it makes it easier to tunnel with it's change.
And as we all see, there are daily "nerf x perk" on the forums all the time and they aren't the biggest iussue.
I actually agree with you 100% about map balance. Devs need to do a much better job with them for both, survivor and killer roles.
OoO wasn't just strong, it was broken in the hands of a well coordinated swf team where everyone knew how to loop. Of all the perks that needed to be changed, it was this one, much more so than DS.
Other than Map Balance, it really comes down to matchmaking. I only play solo and for the most part, it isn't as terrible as people make it when I am paired with people who know what they're doing. It just sucks when everyone I am grouped with can't distract the killer for more than 5 seconds, or nerd rages and suicides because they got hooked first.

The same can be said about lockers, but we must make sacrifices.
Think, if you were to die, who would that bush have left to crouch inside of it?
The bush and I would become one as my blood nourishes it and transfers my soul into it's very fibers of existence.
-
@Seanzu said:
I think survivors have suffered enough perk murderes for a while, lets focus on map and tile balance instead.
Not saying they need nerfs (and I'm against the Spine Chill nerf), but what perk other than DS has been murdered?
-
But this bush is so pretty, and the leaves are so soft and smooth. It gives off a beautiful scent that inspires calmness. Why would I ever leave this paradise?

Glad I keep my profile private and ignore all friend requests.

"What they did is they trapped me in the corner while crouching next to an exit gate while a crouched survivor goes towards the exit."
Were you playing killer or were they your teammates. If they were your teammates, it is a reportable offense, though, you'd have to have video evidence. If you were killer, then it technically isn't holding you hostage since all you had to do is hit the survivor to be freed.
-
The body blocking that can be reported is the type where you are standing in a corner or in a room with one exit and someone comes and blocks you from leaving. Body blocking the killer from the hook isn't the same thing. Heck, body blocking a killer into a corner doesn't count either since the killer can down you or just hit you and lose collision for a few seconds.

Purple is the correct answer
-
They don't need a complete rework, just the ones out in the open need to be moved. I've been running Inner Strength and I've been noticing that it is harder to find totems than they've ever been, except for a few here and there.
-
Trapper - Needs more base kit traps
Vommy Mommy - Survivors control her power, which isn't fun for the killer. I have no idea what they can do though.
Legion - Needs a full on rework.

Don't forget his Nurse outfit!

To be honest, I think the only change Freddy truly needs is his on-release version back.
And his stretchy arms.

Nah, the Devs aren't that stupid. Nerfing BBQ will bring a storm of rage and tears unlike anything before it, and not just killer tears. Queue times for survivors will quadruple with the great exodus of what little killer mains remain.
-
It depends on your play style. If I was willing to spend money, I'd pick Bubba. Yes, I know, he is the stereotypical camp king, but he really is a good, strong killer. Some of my most fun matches were against Top Tier Bubbi Bois and they never camped, they were just really good with the chainsaw. The camping potential is a nice bonus for when you want to punish a toxic player.

I really really think people underestimate the Twins power.
Its not that their power is underestimated, contrary to what the forums would have you believe, many killers players just don't like the idea of camping and slugging, which their power seems to be designed around.
-
Do enough players play them to warrant the design team to come up with new cosmetics?

Sure, as soon as win win the lotto. I'll be sure to reimburse all 9 players.
-
No! I love the swamp maps. They're much better than The Game. I just want them reworked to include deep water that we have to wade through.
-
They should be deleted from the game and their power should be incorporated into an upcoming Xenomorph killer.
I will miss punting the little turd and hearing his anguished cries.

It takes more than a British accent to be a good Dracula. Sir Christopher Lee had presence, his voice projected menace.
It's not just a British accent, Benedict has talent, presence, and experience. He will do a great job.
-
@Orion said:
The only way a Dracula would be acceptable is if he were voiced by either Bela Lugosi or Sir Christopher Lee. Unfortunately, both of them are dead. Therefore, Dracula is off-limits.
Benedict Cumberbatch would be a good fit. Listen to his work as Smaug and the Narrator for the new Dungeons and Dragons Lullaby written by R A Salvatore (It's on YouTube).
*It may not be what you want, but I will take him in a heart beat.

Long, long ago there used to be chainsaw Myers. His torso was missing so you'd just see a white mask chainsaw across the map really fast with next to no terror radius. Some say he still exist in the trial and works on the Hillbilly Space Program to better our world.
I wish I was here for those times! I always arrive after the fun has been had.
-
Imagine a bug where Spirit can chainsaw survivors while phasing. That would be the perfect buff and nerf for her. The chainsaw sound will give away her position while at the same time, compensate for it by allowing her to attack.
*Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I'm not really serious here.

Make them a deep purple please. Purple is the best of colors and it isn't used often enough.
-
I don't think there is any way to play Twins without using strategies that survivors hate. They're literally designed to slug and camp, a mistake on the devs not the players who choose to play them.
-
@Orion said:
As survivor:
- Stealthy
- Cleansing totems when I see them
- Unhooking and healing survivors when I can (i.e.: when I'm near them)
- Repairing generators
- Trying to lead the killer away from "populated areas"
I play the exact same way, but I also body block and try to take aggro if the killer is trying to tunnel someone or if I haven't been hooked (even though I'm bad at chases). It makes me feel sad that the devs seem to be moving away from allowing survivors to be more stealthy. My Claudette no longer blends in on some of the new maps and sticks out like a sore thumb so bad that killers can see me from across the world.
