Maybe 1 out of 10 matches.

took me two days of moderate play to get this done.

I come from Overwatch, so ANY communication is a huge plus for me. They could have 99 excuses and I would rather hear them than be left in the dark.
I know this is off topic, but has Blizzard really fallen so low? I quit supporting them after they released the money grab known as D3. Sad to hear them get worse.
-
Nope, I stopped caring. It's obvious that the company only cares about profits. I'm not going to hate the devs though, I know they're just employees and are doing what they're instructed to do, but I probably spent a total of 50 bucks for close to two years of fun. I haven't spent a dime since I brought Freddy (regret) back when Oni came out.
I know what to expect, and they haven't wowed me since Oni-chans chapter. The last good chapter was Silent Hill, and I was close to spending money for Pyramid head, but my gut told me to wait, because I knew nerfs were incoming. Not only did they nerf his power, they nerfed his butt.
Now I look at is as a free to play phone game, but on my PC, where I can play to earn mediocre cosmetics.
-
The spawns have been improving, they just need to make the obvious a little less obvious. Not hidden in a corner, down a corridor hidden, but like, a little bush in front of it, or just away from gens. Survivors should put a little effort into being able to completely remove a killers perk.
-
None, I'm terrible at them all and don't play the role enough to ever master any one. Though, the closest one I have come is Trapper.
-
Yes, but I've been feeling this way for a while, long before this chapter. I think it's just a cycle for me and games. The Devs have failed to keep it fresh and interesting, and its just the same thing over and over. They need to stop being chickens and start taking risks with new mechanics in the base game.

I dont mind the complaining about the bugs. Its about the little things I have seen. People have gotten super complacent and don't realize this is a blessing of a game.
ps.... I'm on console
This is a video game, it is anything but a blessing.
Doesn't matter what they complain about, bugs, mechanics, killers, perks, or even skin tone, the purpose of the forums are for the customers to voice their concerns. If people didn't complain, nothing would improve.
-
They should also remove his invisibility, make his foot steps louder and make him slow down every time the player pushes on M1.

Do you expect perfection? I don't understand what the big issue here is. You don't have to play it if you are THAT unhappy with it. All I am trying to say is enjoy it most of the bugs are minor and don't kill the game. Embrace the madness and have fun is all.
The bugs don't kill the game for you. Lots of console players will beg to differ, which is why the DC penalty has been disabled.
People have every right to complain, as much as they want, about a product that they spent their hard earned money on. Especially when the developers promised optimization and have failed to deliver after years of waiting. I would be worried if people stopped complaining if I were the devs, it would mean that people just don't care about the game and have moved on.

Just a heads up, @GoodBoyKaru prefers to be called by their full username,
But I like to refer to him as Mr MooMoo.
-
They should just hire some college interns and have them rewrite the game from the ground up, focusing on neat, non-spaghetti code and optimization for all systems. That way, the devs can keep pumping out content until the interns are ready.

I would be afraid to buff it as to not encourage camping the basement, though I find the idea of it affecting all hooks particularly favorable. Maybe it has an effect when hooking Survivors on the same hook (or wet hooks, as I like to call it), sorta like a miniature Devour Hope if you know what I'm getting at.
Monstrous Shrine
The hooks dripping with your prey's blood have aroused the Entity's interest.
When you hook a Survivor, the aura of the hook they were placed on becomes highlighted in a white aura, and Monstrous Shrine activates for 100/110/120 seconds. Hooking another Survivor on a highlighted hook refreshes the perk timer and earns you a token.
Once you've accumulated 3 tokens, when a Survivor rescues a teammate from a hook, the Entity will lash out and injure the rescuer if they are healthy, leaving them Incapacitated for 45 seconds.
All accumulated tokens are lost when the perk timer reaches zero.
...or something like that. The idea is there.
That's not bad. It's better than the idea I just came up with in which once a killer hooks 4 different survivors, it will teleport the next two hooked survivors to the basement if they're within a set distance from it.
-
It might be a regional thing. Where are you located? I'm in the MidWest and as survivor, it only takes 5 minutes or less to get a lobby. I don't know what killer queue time is though, sorry, so I can't say what the length is.
-
I wish the Devs would go all out on animations in this game and give us mori's akin to MK Fatalities. Mori's just seem lazy.
-
I main survivor, only play solo and dabble in killer for the rift.
Before I say anything, I will need to admit that I am bad at both roles. It is what it is, I can't loop the killer like you see streamers do, and I can't end chases fast with killer, unless the survivors I am facing are bad.
In my opinion, solo is bad because of players who are worse than I am. I may not be able to loop, but I know how to get into a locker when the killer downs someone. I know how to hold "shift + W" when my Spine Chill flickers and make it to the nearest loop. I may not be able to waste enough time for my teammates to do two gens, but I can give them time to heal and finish a gen. I also know how to jump out in front of the killer when he is chasing someone on death hook. I will also body block the hook and even sabo it if I find a tool box in a chest.
The problem with solo queue is, and will always be, matchmaking. First, with the small pool of killers, it really is inevitable that really good killer players will be put up against potatoes over and over. Secondly, matchmaking has no way to tell how good a survivor really is, so it will always have potatoes matched up with you.
When I play solo, there are two types of players I hate getting. The first are the wannabe streamers who chase the killer around, hoping for a flashlight save. I know the match is doomed when I see this due to the fact they're not doing gens and the killer usually downs them in 30 seconds or less. The other type is the chicken player, who only hides, maybe work on a gen, but remains invisible to the killer for most of the match, but when finally caught, they go down in 5 seconds.
The only time I consider a killer over powered is when I'm against a Pro Nurse or Stridor Spirit. But since SWF is a thing, I won't complain about them since killer players need characters that can compete, at least until the devs decide to balance around SWF, which they will not do.
-
No, I still have fun with him, granted, I have to equip bloody coil if I suspect a decent swf and do my best to get them in the basement. He just needs a trap carry increase and I'd be happy to play more killer.

The same can be said about playing survivor. Let's just all agree that the game is always terrible unless you play it full time
Contrary to what people on here want everyone to believe, I still have fun and don't think the game is terrible. I mainly play solo and dabble in killer only to get the cosmetics in the free rift and I still find it enjoyable except for the token sweaty matches.

What exactly does everyone want, aside from the ability to exploit the game in ways that the developer doesn't want and free "compensation" for the game developing undesired bugs?
I'll start. It's their fifth anniversary so I think that BHVR could have shown their effort by providing me with a free car. I'd still hate them and call them lazy, inept, greedy, stupid, worthless, evil, and every other negative thing I could think of while continuing to play the game and demanding a full cash refund, but man it would be nice to have a new car. Oh, I want my cosmetic glitch given back to me too. They owe me.
It's really not the "free compensation" that I want, though free cosmetics are always nice. I was just hoping the devs would treat the events as a live ptb and use them to try out new mechanics that they may add to the base game if they were well received by the player-base. Like, for Christmas, they should make part of the floor for outside maps a little slippery, that would cause both killers and survivors to slide around a bit. In the spring, the swamp maps could get flooded with water in certain areas where we can swim through or maybe jump from drift wood to drift wood to get to buildings or higher ground. They could introduce new usable items and see what works and what doesn't.
-
I don't care who the killer is, but if the devs don't give Claudette a Velma cosmetic, I will riot!
-
As much as I hate a camping hag, I wouldn't trust Behaviour with her rework. They'd just break her and make her even more less common to get.
Best thing to do is wait for her to pick someone up and run through all her traps. Also, take note of where the basement is and stay the hell away from it.
-
This isn't a bug, it's a feature. Blinking is hard on the Nurse, so she massages herself with rapid vibration.

It's very personal as everyone finds different things annoying to go againtst.
For me it's trapper, I hate facing him with all of my beiing.
Oh my goodness, me too! I'd rather face a Infectious Nurse with Starstruck, Stridor Spirit or Mr Campy McCamp Bubbi Boi over Trapper.
It's funny because he was my favorite killer to play with.

I've given, and been given a hatch escape many, many times.
I have NEVER had a survivor who, after dominating the game left, right, and all-around, has let me down and hook them as a pity kill. In fact, while nearly 100% of survivors will wait at the exit gate or Hatch, I'd say under 20% are waiting there to give me one last pity hit on their way out. An overwhelming majority are waiting there to teabag and deadhard out of the attack.
I've actually tried to let the killer kill me many times, but lots of them just don't want the pity kill. Some appreciate it, especially if they're working on the challenge, but most of the time, they motion for me to leave.
-
Action indicators for survivor portraits. If someone is on a gen, a tiny generator will appear on their picture, if someone is being chased, a running icon will show up, and if someone is cleansing a totem, a little totem will display.
Optimization for the poor console plebeians.
Matchmaking to finally work, but to also take into consideration the amount of hours people have in this game.

I don't like it. Is there a way to return to the past?
When you figure it out, I'd like to come with you so I can invest in Amazon, Apple and Bitcoin.
-
Just ignore it. It isn't worth the time of day to worry about. Just show them the same courtesy they do you.
-
They could fix it by making auras Green or Blue on those maps, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

Saloon map. It’s horrible for survivors and I’ve never liked the looks.
killer would be doctor or ghost face. Both are annoying and broken. Maybe bubba.
perks I’d delete bbq or the new nemesis perk where he sees everyone. Survivor I’d delete slippery meat or lightweight because they’re useless.
My Claudette loves the Saloon. It just sucks since totems are hard to find.

This is true. Used to get so many more before. Not too many even attempting it these days.
Piggies usually attempt to mutilate my face when I attempt to boop their snoot. So now I just avoid them and blend into the bushes.
-
I do as long as she's not tunneling from the start or running Make Your Choice and just tunnels hooks. I find it very enjoyable to make her waste time looking for me when she comes to the gen I was working on. Its funny watching her look in lockers and behind trees and rocks, then pretend to go away only to zoom back with her power to try and catch me off guard.
-
Mainly it is Matchmaking and Bad Survivors. Anyone who says otherwise is biased.
The game should never match someone who has 100 hours of play time with or against someone who has 2k hours unless they're grouping as a swf.
Part of the Bad Survivor syndrome isn't that they're bad at the game, but that they're butt hurt and dc or suicide because they don't like the killer (lots of people did so against freddy), or got caught first. Another example of bad survivors are people who wouldn't touch a gen and kept trying to harass the killer for flashlight saves, only going down in 5 seconds.

It even crashes on PC?!
Yes, we are not immune from being Behaviour'ed , though no where near as our console brethren.
-
I haven't seen a Legion in months. Do they still exist?
-
I'd rather the perk allow the killer to pallet stun the survivor, even if just once a match, for the lol's.
-
Nah, they need to hire some college interns and have them write the game from the ground up for Unreal Engine 5. It's obvious the games issues will never be resolved otherwise.
-
Typically, I'd be against reducing any dc penalty, but if it is really as bad as people here say it is, perhaps they should disable completely until they get the issue resolved?
-
Yea, after a good while, they become available in the shop. I dunno if they're limited time when they do though.

Jesus christ dude, what did you smoke? No rly, i want some.
Keys are not broken? They are straight up ######### cheat/crutch. They just let you make shorcut and ignore objective! In which point you stopped and decided "yep, thats completely fair"? They are literally old mori, but for survivors, same rules. Skip objective.
Right now stacking gen regress is only way for killer to retain map pressure, especially when there is no counter to gen tapping except of ruin. And for every killer that has broken add ons there is another with worthless ones, like PH. And something should be done about that, i agree. But keys? Really. They are most unfair thing that this game currently has. You play perfectly well, you apply pressure, your loops are on point, aaaaaaaaand someone opens a hatch, 4 escapes, entity displeased, goodnight sir. You complain about stealing items and THIS doesnt bother you? Seriously?
Stop taking the bait.
-
Slugging for the 4k is no different than the last standing survivor to deny the 4k. If you want to make a request of anyone, request your teammate to just give themselves up to the killer and not waste your time.
-
I read that doing the tutorial resets all of your cosmetics and perks, so don't forget to re-equip everything and not go into a match with nothing.

Well, for the sake of your mental well being, I hope they spend some time optimizing the game for you guys, if not, I hope you find a new, more entertaining game.

I think Claire looks near identical to RE2 remake.
We can agree to disagree. To me, she looks like she kinda let herself go while getting hooked on some drugs.
-
Congrats on your new main. I'm sticking with Claudette. I was going to buy Claire when it they announced the new Chapter, but I'm disappointed with how she looks. She reminds me of Debbie Downer from Saturday Night Live. If they release a Carlos Oliveira skin that looks good and shows off some muscle, they will get my money and he will be my new main.

Yeah sorry but I have to disagree with you on that.
Toolboxes are still strong if you know how to use them especially in combi with some perks.
You know what I mean by insta heals, they are still basically the same as the were.
You use it and any hit you take during that time will apply deap wound, so basically you have still a extra health state.
Before it fully health you, now it's heals you over time and during that time a hit will be converted to deep wound.
So yeah you can ignore all you want but insta heals still remain, whether you believe it or not.
Yeah looking at a wall or tree can counter flashlights, but how many times do you actually down them next to a wall or something to counter that?
Yeah exactly not that often.
The keys, yeah sure if a survivor is smart which a lot are not.
They hold the key in their hands the entire game.
So yeah it was a good counter to keys.
That reminds me, I wonder why it takes ages to come up with a key rework? 🤔
Yeah yeah yeah don't come with that bs about it's more than simply changing some numbers.
We all know that is a load of crap, if they really wanted a rework that it would already be in the game by now.
It is only an excuse to try and keep the people quiet, nothing more nothing less.
Man, don't take the bait. You will regret getting into a discussion with him.
