I would love all those buffs as well...what I like about him is outsmarting survivors. I have used what I learned with him and have been playing hag more...have you tried to switch to her?
Yea, I actually liked playing with her, but my heart will always remain with my Trappi Boi. He is my favorite killer in the roster and nothing is as satisfying in this game as hearing a snap and scream or herding an over confident survivor who harassed me for most of the match, into a trap and hauling their ass into a locked down basement.

True and on all honesty it's kind of sad he is the face of the game😭. You bad I cant quit playing him🤣
I quite killer for a long time, but this chapter had me back to playing Trapper for blood point farming and I can't stop playing. Unless it's on RPD, then my Trappi Boi gets to enjoy looking at the pixels that make up the walls.
I do with they would just make him have purple bag as base kit, faster trap setting speed, automatic trap pick up that has no animation, it just teleports into his hands when he walks on or near an unset trap and replace the bag add-ons with new ones that do something new, like cause survivors to reveal their aura for 5-8 seconds or get poisoned which causes them to do actions slower.
-
Confident is fine, but if they're clicky clicky, flashlight spamming, window vault spamming little turds, I just ignore them for the whole match unless they're out positioned.
-
Because he's an old killer that hasn't been updated to be more in line with modern Dbd.
-
Just had a killer DC the second it loaded in. I don't blame them one bit. I'll probably give it a few chances, but most likely, I'll start to afk whenever I get it.

New killer experience is just as bad as new survivor so whats you point
I would argue that the new killer experience is worse since it's 4 ganging up on the killer. Also, When I was new, I never, ever had a killer insult me or curse me, whereas when I started playing killer, I'd get the ggez, gate t-bagging and flashlight clicking, after match cussing and death threats.

With a full belly and sweet dreams.
-
No, sorry. I really love the butter cream frosting and strawberry filling and don’t want to share with anyone!
-
Whispers, Spies from the Shadows and Iron Maiden all help to counter this. Play more survivor so you can get an idea on how/where survivors hide and you won’t have too much trouble.
If it is a common problem for you, Doctor+Whispers will prevent this from happening.

Killers playing the game is such a huge issue. It's very clear dedicated survivor mains just want bots to bully.
This. Not saying all survivors are like this, but a lot of them only play this game in order to harass and bully the killer for laughs. I literally just had everyone dc against me, not one minute ago because they I chased someone who was unhooked in order to slug them and go pick up someone who was just caught in a padded jaws trap. They all just dc'd and wasted their Strode Key offering because the match didn't go as they wanted.

Nurse will never be changed. The thing is, she is a big design failure, a relict from a time where so much stupid things were in the game. Nurse is one of those stupid things, yet, she cannot be changed.
You cannot really nerf her, unless you want to nerf her into Oblivion so that she basically stays the same, but is super-weak.
She would need a full Rework, which includes making her more accessible for newer players and also includes that she is actually playing DBD and not her own game. Something like increasing her Movement Speed to 4,4m/s at least and if you want to keep the Blink Mechanic, nerf it heavily (like not being able to blink through Objects)... So basically that she can catch Survivors without using her ability, however, her ability helps her doing os.
BUT - this will never happen, the outcry would be too big. So we are stuck with a design failure, which cannot be corrected.
Yea, you're spot on. It would be nice if they would rework her to remove the fatigue/screen darkening, increase her speed and only give her one blink or something, but Behavior would be burned to the ground if they touch her further.
As things are though, I've accepted her as part of the game and actually have fun versing her. Stealth is strong against her and it is fun trying to juke her, even if I only succeed 40% of the time. It's like playing in Hard Mode during a single player game.

To be fair, a perk completely removing an item's functionality is pretty dumb, survivors have to buy the flashlight and its add-ons each time they use one, you only have to buy Lightborn 3 times.
It's no different from having an item completely nullify a killers effort, such as, finding, chasing, hitting, downing and carrying a survivor, all to have it undone because someone brought in or found an item in a chest.
-
It is my new favorite killer perk! I've been running it since I started playing killer again with this chapter and the amount of free hits/downs I get are amazing! Its so nice to have equipped, especially with the two new blinding perks that have been introduced. And the aura reading is a nice little bonus, the little clicky turd can't sneak off and hide after a failed blind attempt.
My favorite thing is when they just stand there, draining their battery, wondering why it isn't working. I giggle with glee every time.

As an Urban Evading Bushette, I too love facing Hag. I giggle with glee when I happen upon her lit totems and unhook faster than she would expect. She’s only a nightmare to face when your team sucks or she outright camps.
-
Try out every killer in the roster and she’s you you like the most. Only you can tell what you like, not us.
As for hate, you will get it no matter what. You can play perfectly, never tunnel or camp and 3 hook everyone and you would still get mountains of salt from survivors. I get salt for playing Trapper with his brown add-on that prevents traps from harming survivors, just because I had some good placements and snowballed.
-
I love Sashay Away! It needs to be a thing pronto!

I actually like going against Bubba too! He has decent counters but is still really threatening. Chest defender Bubba is a nice breath of fresh air from the constant sweat matches. Even having the honor of being camped by him is sometimes fun since I can gaze upon his beauty and look deeply into his glorious eyes.

I love to face with different killers. Huntress, Spirit, Doctor are hell, i am seeing them so much. I would take gladly more Freddy.
It’s just different strokes for different folks. I actually like going against Doctor and Spirits(that didn’t tunnel hooks).
I hated facing Freddy, mainly because of his anti-stealth and the fact that lots of players who played him were tunnelers. I didn’t think he was over powered, just super annoying.

I dont know, Blood Echo applies exhaustion on survivors.
Yes, someone pointed that out for me. Still, the killer has to chase, down, carry and hook the survivor in order for it to work and also has to have the other survivors injured.
What do survivors have to do to earn Dead Hard?

Exhaustion status add ons and exhaustion status perks exist.
I just did a quick search and the only killers that have these add-ons are Huntress and Pig. I’m pretty sure the Devs are working to remove a killers ability to affect exhaustion.
The only perks listed that affect exhaustion are survivor perks.

I'm not ignoring blatant problems with perk design I'm calling out NOED man
While NOED can be considered a second chance perk, it can be easily removed or prevented from ever coming into play. Dead Hard cannot.
-
Yes, it was a limited time thing.
-
It used to be an obscene amount, especially during the lockdown. Now, more like 1-2 hours a day. It gets shorter and shorter since I'm getting burn out.

Badham and HadnoFun are two maps I used to hate, but with the release of RPD, they are like heaven compared to it.

Thats fair, I was only asking for the worst case scenario. But the devs do budget killer powers with addons included, and I don't have enough hours on trapper to know at a glance which ones would become broken without the time investment of collecting his traps.
What ever they do, I hope and pray they don't touch his red add-ons. They are a Godsend against sweaty SWF.

Well I'm not saying that trapper wouldn't need changes in response to making his power more consistent. Perhaps disarming traps could be faster, perhaps trapper no longer gets a noise notification when they are disarmed so the player has to pay attention to which traps are active or deactivated? I'm not sure what the right answer would be.
A lot of people have talked about his ability to camp, but don't a lot of killers end up camping a 3-gen or basement anyway since gens can fly quickly with even the slightest level of efficiency from survivors? Wouldn't this just make the trapper's strength the endgame as targets worth protecting drop, giving more traps for a smaller area, instead of other killers where they might excel in the 1v1, slowdown, or map pressure avenues?
I would also argue that a lot of people would consider rusty shackles hag traps to be stronger than trapper's bear traps, and he cannot instantly teleport to them. They also have a more intensely strict hitbox. So assuming the survivor gets free, it does the same amount of damage as 1 hag teleport + M1. (Best case scenario, besides just not stepping in it.) But in both cases the hag and trapper player made the correct read of player pathing, the trapper vastly more accurately than the hag on top of that as well.
Beyond this, however, there is also the discussion to be had that the camping strategy of trapper would likely be the first order optimal strategy, but that trapper players would end up growing out of it as it is both boring, and too easy.
Ultimately my goal with this question is to promote diversity of gameplay by buffing killers into more competitive levels of strength.
Not saying you're wrong, I was just giving you a theory on why the Devs are hesitant to give him all his traps at the start of the match.
-
During the day time it’s like one out of every 5/6 games, in the evening it becomes one out of every 4 games.
One weekend nights, it feels like all it is every other match.
-
They should start releasing characters once every six months to give themselves time to improve the quality of the game. Unfortunately, the shareholders run the show and the Devs are beholden to make as much money as possible so no, they won’t stop.

Don't take it personally, she's a great character but the playerbase gives her a bad reputation, I don't know how many toxic teammates I got but I 100% sure at least 60% were claudettes.
Yea, I stopped taking anything in this game personally. It makes it much more enjoyable when I don’t care about everyone else’s motives. Nothing is going to stop me from playing Queen Claudette the Supreme.
-
I dunno, I feel like Claudettes are the most hated even though she is the best, most wonderful Queen. I’ve had killers tunnel and camp me just because I played her even though I never t-bag or play toxic in any way (unless they were toxic first). I would ask why they did so and their answer is because I’m Claudette.
When playing killer, I’ve never really had many toxic Megs to hate, the toxic ones are usually Yui, Yun-Jin Or Fen-poop.

Ah, didn’t know that! Still, not sure why someone would go afk in a corner in a game with 5 cakes :(
Did he have NoEd? Some like to afk and hope to get everyone when it procs. If you cleansed it, his plan failed. It can work really well for him with how fast he can move.
it’s also possible something happened irl and he had to afk and when he got back, it was too late to salvage the match.
-
I think the worst case scenario is his super camping potential when he has Bloody Coil equipped. If he hooks someone and blocks off every route to them with a trap, there is very little hope for that poor soul.
Heck, I’m currently playing blood point farming with him and I’m only using Padded Jaws and brown bag and the second I get one person in the basement, it’s GG. I trap all routes to it, the moment I hear that they disarmed a trap, I zoom right back and reset it while the rescuer is unhooking. They literally have no chance to escape unless they’re both running Dead Hard. And even then, they won’t get far.
This isn’t a complaint about camping, btw, it’s just trying to look at it from an angle the Devs would look at it. Rather than starting with all his traps, I would think buffing his setting speed, giving him yellow bag as basekit, and allowing him to be able to instantly pick up unset traps by just walking over or next to them would be enough. Oh, and a more consistent amount of traps on the maps. Some maps feel like I only have 5 traps to work with while others have 10. It’s so frustrating.
-
You can camp behind an exit gate with Nurse using NoEd and Blood Warden and hope they pick your gate.
-
I like that Claudette, who is the best, is number one.
-
I'd rather they just let me sell all of my unused items and offerings.
-
The perks being in the Shrine is not a big deal. They're perks from original characters, so players who wanted them could have easily just purchased the required killers with shards and just grind out the blood web. And since the streaming community is so big with Dbd, any killer who wants to learn how to better their experience would have already learned about these perks without looking at the shrine.
-
Oh em gee! I hate it when survivors camp me with flashlights or tool boxes to deny me my hooks. Something needs to be done about it, a major nerf needs to be incoming! Their actions prevent me from acquiring bloodpoints after a long and arduous chase.
-

-
Shirtless Henry Cavill killer when?
-
I used to hate it but I will be willing to get it once out of every three matches and make sweet sweet love to it every time I get it if it means I never have to see the new RPD map ever again.
-
I just want Trapper buffed. I don't care about any of the other killers.
I may be greedy here, but I want Setting Tools and Trapper Bag as base kit. Maybe have all the traps closer to the middle or near loops, because going across the world for a trap wastes so much time.
I'd also like to have a more consistent amount of traps on maps. I swear, sometimes it feels like I only have 4-5 traps to work with.
-
I've only seen like 4 Spirits in the last week. I hope it doesn't change.
-
Try turning off crossplay. Had the same issue yesterday and turning it off got me fast queues.

It aint hilarious for the killer 😒😅
When I used to play killer more than I do now, I used to hate getting blinded by flashlights. Now that I'm playing it a little more, both new flash perks got me to start running Lightborn, a perk that I now love. It's not OP, but it is amazing how many people are slow to realize that their flashlights and flash perks aren't going to work. Got lots of free hits because of it. The aura reveal is also nifty.
