Hi dirty generator touching survivor main here :)
Hey! C: Which character do you tend to main? I really like Kate.
I usually play Feng Min, Dwight, and Meg. Kate is pretty cool too. I just haven’t advanced enough through her blood web to use her like I’d like to.

  • All I’m going to say is this post is the exact reason why swf shouldn’t be removed or changed.
  • Or they could reduce the rarity. It doesn't feel like a pink add-on as is.
Yeah I’d be down for that too. It’s more like a yellow add on. So put and price it there Bc as it is I try my very best to just avoid them.
  • Hi dirty generator touching survivor main here :)
  • No changes needed swf is fine. You get great groups and bad groups. Swallow the pill.
  • Lolololol y’all are wild, no.
  • This is not a good idea. I vote no.
  • I think overcharge is fine, it’s very affective against rank 20-12 survivors

I’d be okay if he just couldn’t aoe camp a hook, Bc that’s lame af

I mean that is the only 'superior' feature leatherface has over hillbilly.

We might as well remove him from the game.

Now you’re being silly about removing him from the game. It doesn’t make him superior , it makes him lame as a character.  he makes saves impossible. It’s LAME.
  • I’d be okay if he just couldn’t aoe camp a hook, Bc that’s lame af
  • Honestly making it out is a win for me. Me and atleast 1 other survivor so 2, but that barely ever happens when playing solo.
  • Same minus game crash
  • Here’s a fix, just take the shine off, then Survivors are forced to clean all until notified they got the right one with exploding noise as usual. If it doesn’t explode keep looking.
  • Self care needs to be built in
  • I love urban but it’s not 100% necessary. It just makes you hate sneaking when you don’t have it. I honestly think it should be built in and then reworked as a perk. I also think self care should be built in and changed as a perk. I think people would see a lot of different builds if they were. People always bring either of those 2 anyways
  • I think that camping killers just suck the fun out of the game for all the other survivors playing and not getting camped, Bc then it’s just gens and door. It’s ######### boring. Anyways that’s my 2 cents is that camping killers are boring.
  • DS is fine, learn to counter it. There’s plenty of ways to do it. Hardly anyone even uses it anymore. If you want to talk about a cheap perk how about Rancor where an obsession gets chosen and you can not get hooked all game and be moried off even if the killer played horribly. Both sides have good perks accept it and swallow the pill.
  • Buff pebble pls
  • There are way too many hooks close together, it does make most wiggling attempts pointless

awsome idea , she's very scary when you're lokking at it , just imagine how scary would it be when she chase you or hiding from her

I want to pay for my dirty survivor sins

Yeah i think that would be fair. I was thinking maybe make it smaller but i like your idea better. If it was smaller it might be harder to spot further away.

    Thanks😅
  • I feel like they should just decrease the time of the notification it lasts too long. That’s just my opinion though

so similar to evader for escaping chases, you would gain points for being hidden while in the terror radius or within a certain proximity and not being in a chase. So either you can pip through evader or through stealth. Thoughts?

you already get emblem points in the evader category for being hidden in the terror radius

Yeah but some killers have a really small terror
radius so was thinking more rewarding as far as emblem and points. You know like how other people have said about stealth on here , but lumping it all together in its own category.
  • Peasant said:

The devs have always focused on 4 victory categories in the past and in the present. I honestly do not see the developers implementing in new emblems in the near future.

Also, isn't the vicinity bonus part of Evader? I could have sworn it was. . .
I just checked the wiki and the values are there:
    "(Evader)
The goal of this Emblem is to receive as many points as possible:

    Start Points: 100 Points
Points received for being in the Killer's Terror Radius without being chased: 1 Point per second
This value is affected by a distance multiplier:
    within 5 metres: x6
    within 10 metres: x2.2
    within 20 metres: x1.1
    within 30 metres: x0.5
    within 45 metres: x0.3
    within 64 metres: x0.1
    further than 64 metres: x0"

Oh nice! Neat, I didn’t know that! Thanks for info! It’s definetly appreciated 😊 I take it back then.
  • Ahem they also said they plan on adding extra things for survivors to do other than gens. Which not changing gen speed will be great with.

however I do think that they should wait to implement those changes when the other task for survivors is ready and do those at once.
  • I’m going to have to pass on removing sc. I think it’s fine and serves it’s purpose. I prefer to heal myself most of the time. I have trust issues.
  • I once had a slug race with friends from the entrance to end game exit.

It is a nerf to slugging.

Thanks for all you answers !

I considered buying the game on PC though, I already struggle to throw an axe properly and I'm terrible with the Nurse. Keyboard/mouse would do the trick.

You convinced me about the LeatherFace DLC. I thought he was a less powerful Hillbilly but got stomped by one of them recently (a rank 2)

He is less powerful than billy, however he has great perks that once you unlock (by leveling up your characters and getting the teachables in his blood web) you can put them on other characters. His perks go pretty great on any killer

get to pick one perk to be built in for that season. Every rank reset you get to pick a new one or the same one ,whatever floats your boats. Thoughts?
The only reason I don’t like it is because I like to switch up between different perk builds and I have each character set to have their own play style when I get tired of using another
That’s cool , I can respect that as I do the same!Probably not as elaborate as you ,but I have certain styles of different characters.
  • If you’re going to buy a dlc, I’d recommend saw or Leatherface.all the horror franchise killers are pretty mid tier , however pig and Leatherface have the best perks imho. So they are worth it for that alone unless you wanted to wait for them to pop up in shrine. Also I’m on ps4 TheHeroLives add me if you want to play together, I’ll help teach you some things or whateverZ

Make it a limited pool to be chosen from and it's a fun idea. The devs have shown they have the statistics of the most and least used perks. Make it a different, random pool of three or four of the 10 least played perks or something.

Otherwise killers all pick Ruin and Survivors all pick SC to free up slots.

I feel like other perks would be played more if you get to pick one that’s permanent for season. It could be any perk. Every killer and survivor is different that extra spot would create a lot more diversity. The perk chosen is also permanent until  rank season ends.

Oooh I've been wishing for something like this. The amazing builds both survivors and killers can have with 5 perk slots is insane!

Just a quick example: Quick & Quiet, Dance with Me, Windows of Opportunity, Lithe, & Lightweight. Whoa.

Love these Bc I was thinking similar lines and same so I love these comments.

I agree they should add some balanced landing spots , and open the upstairs for the map.

Do hills not count anymore? Huh, the more you know.

I wasn’t able to play the ptb , didn’t know there were hills on the new map. My bad.

We all agree that the Pig needs a small buff to decrease RBT timer. Not much but just enough to make us sweat a little. What do you other survivors think?

I always sweat against pig because I know that the key is in the last box (only with my luck though).
Pig needs indeed a buff, but a different one in my opinion

What buff would you recommend ?

    Yes, it should be shorter.
In the movies it´s an actual deathtrap. In the game it´s a minor inconvenience.

No it wasn’t. It’s the most popular trap for sure but only ONE person died from the reverse bear trap in the entire franchise as far as I know and that was Jill. Everybody else escaped the bear trap. It wasn’t a deathtrap...they all escaped it. There were much deadly traps in the series

But they sure as hell were pressured, because they disarmed it seconds before it went off.
I don´t feel pressured when i have one on my head.

Well I’m not sure on how the devs would implement more pressure on the trap timing. In the movies it was 60 seconds, which would be FAR too short of a time in the game to traverse around the map with Jigsaw boxes. Not to mention Pig players normally tunnel the trapped player anyways...why even bother if they can’t even go around and check the boxes. Most of the time I’ll get tunneled and sacrified before I can even check a box. I just feel as those it is nitpicking with the RBT timing. Of course there is gonna be instances where a survivor takes it off their head in the first box, it is all RNG. I’d be fine with decreasing it by 30 seconds but it just feels unnecessary :/

Timer starts only after a gen has been finished. If the other survivors are so careless that they finish a gen while someone has a trap on, than thats their fault.
Also, the timer stops while you are being chased.

    agreed^
  • This happens a lot. I love it when I see the other person is helping though. Your best bet is to find them and make them do a gen with you. Follow them around. Force the team work.

Honestly the lack of pressure is so severe that if the trap isn't active I will still do generators. Hell, if there's only one generator left I will do it before the trap. I'll actually start playing her game once people stop tunneling the trapped guy.
Same. Exact same. If it’s a larger map I’ll do the trap first but mostly nope. I’ll do other priorities first Bc the trap takes a backseat as it’s not as important. I don’t feel like it “slows the game”like it should (and is meant to do). I feel like getting the trap off should make me want to get the trap off first before all else. Slightly decreasing it’s timer would do that.
  • Tsulan said:

Basically as the RBT stands now I get slightly sad if I don’t get a trap on my head Bc points 😭 I wish for the trap. I get double happy when they put two on my head.
  • Guys I know it’s a time waster to help slow the game down. It can also be used to kill survivors, I just wish it was a little tiny smidge piece of dirt more deadly than it is now(which is not so deadly at all unless it’s a pretty good pig). Yes it’s good for end game, but other than that it’s just a point accumulator on my head. I want to be a little shaken by time limit to get it off.

  • Sorry, I didn't reallise you were playing on console and I don't now how it works there. On PC (the platform where the game is still designed ... see the PTB) there is no voice communication service, so players use programs like TeamSpeak or Discord, to be able to communicate during the game. When DBD was released, there was no SWF option too.

About the RBT timer, I guess it's still running while you are on both feets. When you're trying to escape the killer, or if you hide in a bush, I'm quite sure the clock is ticking still. that's what I was talking about.

If you’re on your feet and not in a chase the clock is ticking ,but it’s  2 mins long(which feels just a tiny bit too long for me). Anytime you’re in a chase the timer stops ,and it doesn’t count against you.

I’m just asking if people feel a little underwhelmed by the traps like my friends ,and I do. I feel like I can live with them taking off 15-20 seconds to make it a little riskier.
