True but Slenderman was one of those characters you could basically make any horror story if you follow Slender mythos aka Tentacles, Teleportation, 8 pages, static, etc.
I do agree with 80's killers being ingame but Slenderman would be an interesting yet fun killer to have ingame if done right. For a character that was popular for 6 to 7 years Devs should give him a chance.

To be fair Slender Man isn't really that popular anymore and certainly had his five minutes of fame awhile back. When compared to the horror icons of the 80's a lot of the newer horror characters/creepy pasta don't really hold a candle to them as well.
Definitely give Hellraiser a chance though as it isn't like most of the other horror film killers the game has. Why not give all of them a go as the 80s icons in a lot of ways was the golden era of horror.

My Bloody Valentine is a remake of an 80s movie, Slither is literally just worms, American Psycho is a regular guy with an axe, Purge is terrible
That leaves A Quiet Place, The Mist and Hollow Man as the ones I could see getting used in DBD

Springtrap? Some bear robot from some game nobody will remember after 5 years. What he can do? Hug me to death?
From more modern movies i remember only Krampus from that christmas horror movie, he was awesome and freaking scary. He would be good killer maybe. Other than that we have only better known games. Like this monster from Amnesia.
And there is the Krampus skin which could throw Krampus being a killer himself in DBD

I'm not familiar with slenderman, other than in the game slender.
OH. Well...this is awkward. Basically 3 kids were having a party then two of the kids ask the third to lay down and she does. Then the other two cover her in sticks and brush and start stabbing her as a sacrifice to Slenderman. She survived her 19 stab wounds and the other 2 girls were arrested.

And speaking of polls @HaunterofShadows has taken the section by storm with the consistent licensed chapter polls that have a good but not overwhelming variety of poll options. I always enjoy seeing the responses to how people would react and providing answers of my own.

People are saying Hellraiser, i'm not against it at all, but besides from the movie being released in 1987, i'm gonna need more info. Also we should remember theres a Lawsuit in Hellraiser right now. If we can get Hellraiser during a lawsuit, why not Jason?
And lastly, people are saying Fnaf, i would love it in it was, Fnaf is a great game series. A static TV and the bite of 87 would move to this area. But i'm not making any concrete guesses right now. Also, whats with all the hate with Fnaf? i loved those games, they're intense and at times scary.
But lets keep something well in mind, everything is NOT what it seems when it comes to these teasers. Just because we got Hell, letters that spell Raiser, and a pin in a knife-throwing board doesn't mean it WILL be Hellraiser. Remember when the Silent Hill chapter was coming out, Devs teased left and right how it would be Candyman, but did we get it? No.
Hellraiser, Ring, Fnaf, i don't really care, i'm just looking forward to whatever it is. I'm just wondering which makes sense.
There's also a chance the chapter isn't even Licensed, i mean was there any actual facts that say it was? Its been a while, i might've forgotten. Aren't licensed teasers usually obvious?
Anyway, what are your thoughts?
I would love to see the Ring in this game. These are all fun options but yeah it's hellraiser.

Also it wouldn't be the first time a game went far out of their way to throw people off the trail for a new character. Respawn created a character for dataminers to find just to kill them in the reveal trailer for the real character Revenant and Ed Boon trolls almost on a daily basis.
