Rules are arbitrary. DC could be an acceptable rules when you don't want to play against someone playing cheap.
Fact is, the Killer is "driving" the trial. He is the only one who can behave badly towards the survivors. Survivors can't do anything to prevent it.
But it isn't. Aside from hacking Dcing is like the one thing you can do in-game that is against the rules

yeah. If not until dawn I would love a wendigo chapter. I think I would actually prefer this version over until dawns version

I've never experienced this before. Dealing with bugs has always been a frustrating issue with this game, but now that all of my DLC is missing, I think this is the proverbial nail in the coffin for me.

Wait, what actually happened?? I never had that happen only the stun part on the same side.
Oh I've stunned a billy as he was charging at me. I threw down the pallet on the same side he was coming from he got stunned then teleported to the other side.

Because it was really fair for a survivor to drop the pallet on the same side and somehow stun the killer, yup, nothing wrong especially when the killer is on the hitting animation.

You come out of phase near a survivor and they appear in front of you regardless if they are actually there or not so spirit players like me swing on instinct

He literally has to slow down to uncloak, he is really weak against light, stun him while cloaked and it lasts longer. He was weak in his old state. One of the worst killers. Now that he can't be so easily bullied, you are just mad. He is still easy to counter. Get good

How did they mess up? If there's no hope other than to try and 4% it they're going to try. You don't have to go for them just because they unhooked themselves. you can go after them and eat the DS and then go after them again. It's an anti-tunnel perk so if you try to tunnel them off hook no matter what excuse you throw it's going to remain that way. Eat the DS if you want to go after them right after they unhook. BHVR made it an anti tunneling perk and it is fine now.

Becouse there is no resquer, so who else are you supposed to go for when no one is nearby.
If you want to go back to the person who unhooked themselves you can still eat the DS. It's an anti tunnel perk that activates when you get off the hook. You went back for them right after they were unhooked. The perk is supposed to prevent tunneling which it did. You went back right after they were unhooked. you get stunned for that. Hence the anti-tunnel perk.
