Another thing is hitting a survivor with a dire crow as artist only gets rid of the snowman instead of swarming them so don't do that or you'll just be on cooldown for no reason

that ######### any killer who doesn't have a power that helps in a chase so no. You had two chances to escape 3 if you brought a key. Why should you get a speed boost for failing both the main objective and perhaps the secondary objective. If the killer prevents you from getting gens and getting the hatch why shouldn't he get a 4k. The Killer is supposed to be faster than a survivor. Survivors should never be as fast or faster than a killer unless that killer is nurse. And bloodlust is a thing

No. This is the only anti-loop killer most are pleased with. That is a good sign. She's amazing and takes a good amount of skill. So she's not like a nurse level of high skill high reward but she's actually pretty up there. That in itself is healthy. She has counterplay and is not too strong unlike the prenerf spirit who was super strong with little to no counterplay. That's another healthy thing. She's nowhere near unhealthy.

My best guess would be because when a survivor dcs it pretty much ends any hope for survivors if it's done early and when a killer does it the game just ends

This is like what happened last time something new came out.
Survivors: Complain about going against the same 2 killers over again.
New killer gets released.
Survivors: Complain about going against the same three killers when one literally just came out.
Ugh make up your mind! Also why are you even surprised she's brand new and people want to play her. Do you want to keep going against nurse and blight or do you want more killers added to the roster.

It would be cool. I've always been a fan of limited-time events and I think it would be really cool to have some new game modes as limted time events. The new game mode being respective to a certain license would just be the cherry on top.

But if you care: They added the deactivation if you work on a generator, start to heal someone, try to unhook or work on a totem. Previously, after getting unhooked, DS just lasted for a minute with no deactivation condition.
Partnered with Unbreakable this led to the killer joke of "1 minute of immortality". You can't grab them or pick them up because of DS, you can't slug them because of Unbreakable. Which meant that they could just sit on generator in front of you, without any sort of consequence.
And it was made by Sluzzy so you can disregard it

I saw this entire series and in my opinion there is very little about it that I consider to be truly lovecraftian. Is there dark magic? Yes. But dark magic isn't automatically lovecraftian just because someone wrote it into the script. Lovecraft's works are specifically cosmic horror, not specifically any dark magic system. To be truly lovecraftian the series would need much more content concerning alien gods, aliens, or interdimensional monsters that are evil and induce fear, dread, and insanity at the mere sight of them, alongside a cult of dark magicians worshipping them and or trying to summon them. Yes there's dark magic and a cult, but it's based on biblical references not eldritch things. And nobody was worshipping ancient alien gods and trying to wake them up and summon them to earth as our rulers.
The closest anyone got was the weird vampire monsters and the 2 weird ghost girls, but even then there wasn't enough direct info made available within the series to specifically fulfill criteria to call them lovecraftian
yeah that was my friend's complaint about the show as well
