Love it as both killer and survivor. Nothing gets your heart racing like that Exposed effect when the killer finally reveals the ace up his sleeve. Probably my single favourite killer perk to go against, although I rarely use it on killer as it doesn't synergise well with the killers I often play.
-
Start in tier 2, when you're stalking make it similar to t1 in terms of undetectable, no lunge, slow speed.
Tier 3 should have faster pallet breaks, tombstone effect for survivors already on death hook (For no other reason than looking cool and saving PWYF stacks) and some kind of tracking so you cant just hide it out, maybe intermittent screams or aura reveals when they are so far away.
Also Halloween theme plays throughout T3 and map wide terror radius.
-
I'd have the Doctor, but I reckon clown can have a scrap and would move him up. Also I'd move Bubba up because I reckon he has right mong strength.

No that honour goes to the Trickster, surely?

I've never played pig, but I hate going against her for one of the same reasons. Her RNG based traps can penalise you just because the RNG gods hate you. I have removed an RBT on my second try once. every other time its been third or more often fourth. I have NEVER removed it first try.
I abhor RNG based mechanics, simply because I am so damn unlucky. I'm so glad they changed trapper for this reason, I once attempted to free myself 16 times with no luck. In the end, killer had finished his chase, hooked the survivor and then come back to me and I was still struggling.
As killer, I would never play Pig because I know it'd be the opposite case, everybody removing first try. It sounds like you have similar luck to myself. But for killers with better luck than us, maybe they have a much better time.

So I see many posts on the forums and receive many messages in game complaining how OP or strong killers are against solo q survivors or just straight out the killers need nerfs. But when iv versed these people I notice they really have very little understanding of killer powers or loops in general so I'm confused why they think a killer should be nerfed etc. (Quick example had a game where the survivors never really touched a gen and just all went for altruism, trading hooks while no understanding of tiles or pallets etc.) Yet those same survivors said killers need a nerf, these players was rank 2/3 so is the rank making them feel like they cant improve and the games imbalanced? Are they just survivor mains? As someone who plays both roles at rank 1 I always struggle to see a killer as a power role, iv never been this killer is op when I get destroyed as survivor as its usually down to my team not doing gens or chases etc.
I'm aware I'm pretty bad on both survivor and killer, which is why I try to refrain from calling any side strong/weak unless it's a claim that can be substantiated outside of my own personal experiences.
When I see people come to the forums and demand we nerf SWF because killers are weak and survivors OP etc etc and then a stream of them playing surfaces and they are ######### terrible, I'm like "yikes... don't wanna be that guy".
That said, I am as qualified as anybody to say what I find -Fun-. To me, being camped is not fun. Being gen rushed on huge maps with low mobility is not Fun. Certain killers are not fun, to play as and against. These opinions are, of course, important, because if the majority of the player base doesn't find something fun, then it should really be changed.

In my experience, whenever the killer is lagging, it seems to give them a massive advantage. We can usually call out a killer playing from Russia or china when they start hitting through pallets that they were a considerable distance away from and other really horrible experiences. The hit validation seems to be based on distance alone and not take into account obstacles and such, meaning you still get hit around corners and through pallets. I expect in more extreme cases its not advantageous, however.
If lag were made to be a consistent disadvantage for the people experiencing it, instead of a boon, more people would ask for such a feature. As it stands, its largely still quite exploitable, evidenced by the fact people are still using VPNs to region switch, so people dont seem to complain about it as much.

Shelter woods, christ, what a miserable experience.

Oh man an offering that let me turn the game from a 4v1 into a 3v1 after one hook is something that makes survivors matches easy? lol your bias is kinda obvious.
ummmm... Is this serious?
-
Decided to run head on, deception, Inner strength and quick and quiet for some locker related carnage. Got into a match in midwich, went into the middle courtyard with all the shrubs and lockers, jumped in one did some fast vaults to get the killers attention, jumped in a locker for the head on stun aaaaand... Huntress with Iron Maiden.
-
It's annoying, its essentially a perk that just wastes survivors BP. Would much prefer it if items you lost to franklins were returned if you survived the trial. But it is an annoyance at worst.
-
Even with this addon, he still sucks. The only problematic addon Myers has is the tombstone piece, which is kinda funny and rare enough to make it still a low priority change.
Leave mikey alone :(
-
Killers with low map pressure can have literally 0% chance to win against coordinated teams on larger maps unless they resort to tactics such as camping, 3 genning and tunnelling. They simply cannot get around the map fast enough to stop the gens being completed.
A killer who is defending his 3 gen is most likely actively going out his way to avoid camping or tunnelling by adopting a much less frowned upon strategy. Fair play to them I say.
-
You ever heard Ash breathe? Hopefully never, being injured on him with IW is actually a relief😂
-
yeah I certainly noticed a lack of pallets on some CWF maps, even running windows I struggled in a lot of areas. It has not been a pleasant survivor experience for sure.

Ash would ######### them all up tbf

i rate this post.

4 + 1 is 5. 2/2 = 1.
4+(2/2) = 5.
4, 2: plant 42 as killer confirmed.
-
I hated it, so I'm glad, but would like the option to select a different one. Or have it change depending on which killer is selected.
-
detectives is still pretty sweet for showing you exactly where totems are before you even get there, and with map/crystal bead you can also show the rest of your team.
Still seems it would be the better choice in most circumstances for SWF, but the totem counter for small game might be more useful solo

No, it was an argument for "just because they had heterosexual relationships doesn't mean they're heterosexual", which is disingenuous. Sure, they might not be heterosexual, but that's not what the devs intended and everyone knows it.
Oh, my bad. There is so much being said its hard to keep track.

I'm bi too, but let's not pretend anyone actually assumes bisexuality is a possibility in that instance. It's a bad-faith argument.
I'm not following very well, was it not an argument for more bi characters...?

@Orion said:

That's not really how sexual representation works. Nurse is not confirmed to be straight, she's confirmed to have a heterosexual relationship.
Be honest: do you actually believe that? Because these arguments are never used except when LGBT representation comes up.
In fairness, as a Bi man, he has a point; it does irk me pretty bad when I see "he has a wife, so he's straight" or vice versa, or even worse, a male character has a male partner after having a female partner and "he's gay now".

Your actions don't match your words.
People who are genuinely indifferent to something don't bother with it (see my analogy with what we do in science). They might take notice of the thing they don't care about, but they won't make however many comments you just made in this thread. For example, I noticed there's a thread titled "I am worried for BHVR.". From the title, I can probably guess what it's about, but I don't care, so I didn't even bother to click on it.
If you truly didn't care, you would not be arguing this much. You wouldn't even have made a single comment. You'd have glossed over the thread entirely.
The "I am worried for BHVR topic" is very nice, you'll be pleasantly surprised.,

100% agree with that inclusion.
Also, I want Bubba to have a Lady Bunny skin

I would 100% pick up bubba as my main killer if they added this.

This would be good. A mention in a background. Perfect. I'm just always afraid that when they try to add such a thing, people are never happy. Either the character *looks too gay*. Or *doesn't look gay enough*.
Well, I for one, would love a 4 man SWF dressed like the village people.
-
wait no more rework for lerys? I was hoping for breakable walls for scratched mirror madness, imagine working on a generator next to a wall and you hear it suddenly getting kicked in.
-
Because DS is so much rarer now, and that there is always an obsession regardless, many killers will likely assume no DS even when its there. People still running DS are going to get a lot more value from it now, I bet...
-
Pretty much all Myers has going for him except scratched mirror + lerys offering. I'd be horrified if they nerfed this before buffing him elsewhere.
-
could still be decent with syringe/ good med kit i guess?

Judiths tombstone is terrible... probably worse when combined with the tuft. The purple one is much better.

You mean the Pallet Stun bug, which is 100% random, and hard to replicate, and thus hard to figure out WHAT, exactly, is breaking? The bug that, because it's hard to replicate in a controlled environment, means it's harder to fix?
As opposed to the Breakdown bug, which happens every time, and can be repeated by sticking a person on a hook, and is clearly the result of error in a single perk's code?
Ah yes; totally the same things, they are!
Both game breaking bugs which have failed to be addressed. Its also really not hard to replicate you just lunge through a pallet.
-
Just give survivors smoke grenades already
-
Force everybody to play as him for a couple of weeks so they can see how gimped he can really be on some maps.
-
@Yords said:

Are you implying that killers should be banned for a bug they have no control over? Killers just in general swing through pallets and they did this before the bug, it is not like they are abusing it. The breakdown bug on the other hand is totally in control of the survivors abusing it.
Nah, just all this nonsense about "Oh its a bug that benefits survivors so the dev's don't care" when clearly that's not the case if they still haven't fixed the pallet stun bug.
-
Depends on all 4 survivors being:
A - Alive
B - Coordinated
C - Not being chased by the killer.
D - Having brought no other Items
E - Having an Ultra rare addon.
-
According to this hilarious and seemingly serious article written by what I assume is a yellow rank player, Haddonfield is the strongest killer map (competing against the likes of pre-rework Ormond and they dont even seem to be taking the piss)
Some maps tend to work in favor of either the killer or survivors. -
ok then.

Lol thats true but hey don't sweat the details about dreamworld lol.
Leatherface would likely be very similar honestly. I could see him getting a unique basement though
Survivors finish repairing all Gens only to find it was all a dream and they still have 5 gens to repair.

Boremond just sucks balls real bad for killer in general tbh.

Myers-not a whole lot left for the first movie...the institute with outdoors where the bus crashed too.
Freddy- DreamWorld map. Kinda surprised there isnt one
Pyramid head- I'm not crazy family with silent hill but I know there are options.
Pig- house from saw 2
Ghostface- house from scream 1 (I know it's technically a different thing)
Leatherface- actual map with his house
Demo- the town upside down version
Stranger things Upside down maps would be awesome. Problem with leatherface I think would be that as he's who billy was based on, his map would be too similar to Thompson house? I don't remember TCM that well though.
Also, for freddy, if youre on dream world map, what happens when freddy puts you into dreamworld...? Dreamception...
