I never understood the idea that Myers would be able to attack the Entity in any meaningful way. Yes, he's effectively immortal. Yes, he's absurdly strong both mentally and physically. Yes, he's unquestionably evil. But when it comes down to it, he's just a big guy with a penchant for murder. What's he gonna do against something he cannot even begin to grasp the scope of? What's he gonna stab a knife into? The air?
He cannot starve the Entity of survivor sacrifices, because there are FAR too many trials for him to make any meaningful impact. Besides, even if Myers could deprive the Entity of a meaningful amount of sacrifices and emotions, why would it even allow him to?
I can't say whether the same applies to Pyramid Head. I don't know whether it's suggested that Silent Hill still has influence over him (it?). If not, then the Entity could easily manipulate was the Red Pyramid Thing sees. If the town does have influence over him, the same treatment as Myers wouldn't seem like a stretch.
As for the Mind Flayer mentioned here, I have no idea. Never seen the show.
Seeing as the entity's power seems to be dominating the wills of others and using them to do its bidding, the same could be said for it. It cannot dominate Myer's will, he serves himself. I expect a stalemate between the two, neither able to influence the other in any meaningful way.

Myers vanity mirror is absolutely awful and detrimental to performance and its not even a meme addon, its an actual purple!

Not at all. I said two tokens. It has zero effect prior to two tokens.
Well I've always considered defending it part of the challenge. I don't think I've ever lost a game once I reached 3 tokens. Devour is in a pretty sweet spot (especially with it now being affected by Undying). Yeah it sucks when it gets cleansed before you get any use out of it but boy is it funny when you get your 3 stacks (especially as 3 stacks means by the time they realise, you just downed somebody: that's already your 4th stack.)

I'd like to see another killer that moves slower than survivors and has an insane power to compensate. The 110/115% formula has been quite stale.
Problem is, said killer will pretty much need some kind of teleporting to compensate as their power, otherwise you have 0 map pressure. And thats already pretty much nurse.

unique chase music pls

You mean like Blight?
-
not very convincing really
-
are you actually suggesting Devour Hope shouldn't be cleansable until it has 3 tokens (or you cleanse all 5)? Because that would be absolutely mental.
-
Yeah, i'd finally have a use for the piles and piles of Hawkins laboratory IDs the entity forced me into buying.
-
Kicking a gen should regress a base amount equal to 2 seconds of gen repairs so its actually worth doing and if they tap it and dont repair it for the same time spent kicking it then they are at a net loss for repair progress tbh.
-
Shelter woods, christ what a depressing shithole that map is
-
I tend to ignore survivors who are tea-bagging, they are after a chase, either because they want you to focus on them or they are just being toxic. Either way, I do not give them what they want, nothing good will come of it.

I LOVE playing against red rank Spirits that got there just cause they were carried by Spirit (been there, done that LMAO). I played against a Spirit the other day (without Stridor, bless her) and I would just walk away as soon as I realized she was phasing. In every single chase I had with her, I'd hear her yell and smack at a pallet that I was NOT at, all while I was simply and casually walking away from the loop.
I don't tend to go against good Spirits in my region (southeast NA) for some reason, so I'm completely warped in my opinion on her and personally love going against her. I really think I haven't gone against an actually good one, though, and if I regularly did, I might change my opinion pretty quickly LOL
Yeah nothing better than slowly walking away from shack and then hearing a distant "HRAAAH!" as she hits at the window then watching her run around it from 30 meters away trying to find you because they cant possibly comprehend that you didn't want to stick around for the 50/50 coin toss game
-
I fear a red rank demo/clown/wraith much more than a spirit in all honesty. If somebody has travelled to the red ranks on those killers, you know they know how to play. Sure, you can maybe win by being coordinated and efficient, but in a chase they will absolutely wreck me. Against a spirit, there's a good chance that actually they are only red ranks because they play spirit.
I've met a fair few red rank spirits that were actually pretty damn terrible and you can see how they made their way to where they are. I tend to have a much easier time against these.
(Of course there are also very good spirits who will also absolutely destroy me, but its never as clear cut)

what was strong about it was replacing pallets that were dropped, so when a survivor that is solo/not apart of swf heads to that side of the map & is not aware the pallets have been dropped, it’s problematic. you can say “just pay attention to what pallets are up before you’re asleep” but - A) what if you start asleep? B) what if you’re new & don’t even know where pallets are supposed to spawn to begin with? C) what if the survivor runs to that side of the map for the first time that match, how do they possibly know the pallets were dropped? Yes, you can wake up, but you can’t while you’re in chase which usually happens after he hits you & puts you to sleep.
I say all this, but keep in mind, I’m a Freddy/Doctor main. I don’t think Freddy needed a nerf at all. he isn’t strong. he’s a normal m1 killer with a little extra features. I just think survivors never complain about what is actually annoying about him - aka PALLET FREDDY. Slowdown Freddy? Do gens. Snare Freddy? not a problem. go around the snare. I actually feel like the only thing that needed changes was the pallets. Didn’t need to touch snares at all. Snare Freddy is always an easy win for me as survivor. Pallet Freddy is an easy loss.
Even then id rather have no pallet awareness over insta snare "press m2 to close loop" freddy. Pallet Freddy is kinda fun and at least his power is original.
-
Tough one. What makes him so strong in chase is also what makes him so fun to play. I really wouldn't want any of it changed but I accept that his map pressure is abysmal and if you increased his movement speed he would be broken. Increased movement speed whilst redeemer isn't loaded would be pretty sweet though, as suggested above.

NOED gifts bad killers with kills they don't deserve, Devour rewards killers for getting hooks, not camping and defending a lit totem.

Superb in a chase, but coordinated teams on larger maps you are pretty helpless, unless you defend a 3 gen.

Oh no, another 123123132131th time how SWF shouldn't be nerfed.
Devs promised to do something about SWF issue 4 years ago and nothing was done ever since.
All devs did was to add perks that give solo survivors abilities SWF get for free, which means BHVR gives zero ######### about SWF and it being OP.
Give solo survivors more perk slots for information perks and then adjust the difficulty overall to bring the killer experience more in line

Nemesis and Dimitrescu too tall.
They dont go through doors and windows.
Licker, hunter, Mr X, Jack, and Heisenberg can. Or another random B.O.W.
Plot twist: Nemesis smashes through windows and turns them into doors. (Obviously not as that would require reworking every single map but a man can dream)

I mean I don’t know when you all will understand that these aren’t normal people. The entity enhanced their normal form. They may look small & weak but in reality they’re not .
So do Umbrella manufactured experimental bioweapons, but, well, look how well that worked. Hunk would ######### have the entity itself

Not as hard as he seems. Especially if you're on PC. I've literally NOT had anything less then a 3k(hatch escapes) with him..And that's literally from the first time I've used him..About 65 games in with him now. He's just as oppressive as spirit and nurse. And a good blight will know when they can hit a rush. Or use it just to catch up and basic m1 you
I tried him and he was incredibly difficult to control. I've seen people pull off some insane hits but I cant imagine it was easy. I guess to many it seems like a lot of effort when you can just pick up spirit and a decent headset and get instant results, but I always have a lot of respect for a good blight.
Plus they always seem to come in 2 flavours: ######### and camp/tunnel, or skilled and just outright awesome people.

Blight. He's an S tier character. But most don't agree with that. He can be just as oppressive as nurse or we spirit
A good blight is deadly. Easily one of the strongest killers, but seems like its a lot of work to learn to play him.
-
I would 100% buy a HUNK cosmetic. Wouldn't want him as a survivor though because he'd kick the ######### out of half the killer roster so seeing him being downed by legion or pig would just be pitiful.
-
ahahahaha DC basement theme should be clowns chase theme tbh

Imagine the anticlimax if the survivor is the guy who locks himself in the back of the lorry at the beginning of RE3 and the killer was plant 42

pebble urban evasion spine chill iron will
-
Deathslinger you can spread out and hold W/break LoS as soon as you see him (or even better, spinechill goes off) and by the time he catches up with you, downs you and gets to the next gen 3 have popped. His mobility is crippling.
-
There are many very niche perks and some that are only useful in specific builds, but at least these have a use (as said, slippery meat + luck offerings and up the ante can be incredibly OP).
The ones I have a problem with are the ones that are absolutely useless, like monstrous shrine and sole survivor
-
They have played with 3 perks up until that point for that single use. If your main gripe is that this perk is preventing you from getting your single kill then maybe the issue isn't the perk.
-
2 killers vs 10 survivors in procedurally generated mazes. No generators, you just need to find the way out and escape. Killers compete for kills.
-
As soon as you hit somebody with 3 stacks, every single resource will go into finding that totem. If you can slug a few people at 2 stacks and then hook them, by the time they realise you have devour you're usually at 5 stacks. But its still dependant on decent totem spawns. Undying can help with this now.
I would avoid running it with ruin; as soon as survivors see ruin in play they will be actively looking for lit totems. Likewise, corrupt intervention will often encourage people to look for totems rather than work on the available gens.
-
If nobody has detectives or small game, leave them up and do a quick sweep after last gen of any obvious ones or get out before they can capitalise on noed. Chances are at least 1 totem is going to be pretty difficult to find. That said, if they have NOED, chances are they wont be very good, so even if it takes awhile, you should be able to find all 5 before anybody is sacrificed. If thats your approach, get down to 1 gen so that if you are struggling to find them, you can just finish last gen and get out, rather than trying to get all 5 totems early on, waste too much time looking and then still have 5 gens to go.
if you have the perks, do them as you find them. One person with detectives is usually enough, provided they're not being chased when the gens pop. Otherwise a map might be needed.
If you dont have a full SWF, new small game would be better choice to keep track of numbers.
-
Tofu also put Deathslinger in S tier and billy above oni, I'm not taking that list seriously.
-
Scenario:
you are hooked by a wraith. He goes bing bong.
You are unhooked. You run from the hook and find somewhere out of sight to start healing. You begin to med kit.
The second you begin your heal, he uncloaks nearby and heads right over to you. You are still injured and now you have no DS.
That is 100% tunnelling. You can replace the wraith with a blight who rushes over or pretty much anything really.
Beginning to self heal is not advancing objectives. It does not alter the state of play for the killer in any way until you are actually healed. The only reason I can think of that you are against changing DS to only deactivate after fully/50%/75% healing yourself is that you do, in fact, want to tunnel somebody.
-
Because its so popular. You get caught out by it once or twice, and then see it on every killer you come across (mostly for the BP), you start assuming that every time you see it, it's responsible for your loss.
Most killers lack the mobility to utilise it effectively and even those that do have other perks at their disposal which are just as good, if not better, for tracking.
But the BP is sweet, so you see it a lot, and if you see it a lot, it'll be complained about a lot.

Survivor: Windows of Opportunity. Honourable mention to Detectives Hunch.
Killer: Corrupt Intervention

This is not true, have purposely been checking every chest in matches and while did find a key 3 matches in a row at one point, havent since.

That's hands down one of the most awkward bugs I've encountered to this day. How did they even make a purely visual cosmetic item affect gameplay interactions?
There was also a bug where whenever I was downed I stayed standing upright, only ever happened with ash with puppet. seems fixed now though

@TripleSteal said:
If by any chance you are playing ashley with muppet cosmetic, it messes up FL aim and moves it about 15 degrees to the right of where it should be, and a bit lower too. This bug is unique to this specific cosmetic item, though.
I am indeed using ash with puppet... thanks for letting me know <3

Well Freddy was a raging nonce so I doubt anybody would play him or theyd end up with the police seizing their hard drives

For solo queue, yes. For SWF, you should have less depending on the number in your team (4 man SWF, 2 or 3 perks each etc)
