You can't even replicate it on pc unless you go out of your way to buy a specific mouse with that function.

It won't be fixed until to many people are abusing it so i guess we wait.

you do not have to go out of your way to get a button that switches DPI on your mouse. that's a pretty common feature on the majority of modern gaming mice.

you can also just bind a DPI switch to a button on your mouse through its settings.

even then, you can also just play on high DPI without any type of switch. I know of people who flick with Blight that do.

It won't be fixed until to many people are abusing it so i guess we wait.

This is why I don't understand the complaint. There's gotta be well under a hundred Blights that do it (I never even see regular Blights). This is also why I don't think anyone that hasn't practiced against a flick Blight in private lobbies and genuinely tried counterplay that's been developed - like in the plenty of scrims I've watched where people have FOUND very very workable counterplay against it, most of which is just general Blight counterplay - can truly say it has no counterplay, which is not what the players who do play against flick Blights very frequently say at all. The reason you can't understandably know of any counterplay is that barely anybody does it, which again, brings up my question of why even bother making long forums posts complaining about it and begging for its removal? It's not forever Freddy or old prayer beads Spirit. You're not seeing it every other game whatsoever.

It feels like the only real reason that most people here want it removed is that they can't do it themselves on a console, which is unsurprising.

I wouldn't consider it an exploit if it wasn't a pc only "tech", it's kinda bs consoles just can't do it, like isn't all their downsides in this game enough already?

    no, it's not BS.

if you have a console, you bought an inferior, but AFFORDABLE, gaming system. that's not to shame anybody for buying a console at all; consoles are popular for a reason.

but fact is, consoles are ALWAYS going to have downsides compared to PC, and that is what you subject yourself to upon purchasing a console and playing a game that allows cross-platform. you are not going to be on the same tier of PC players when it comes to controls, performance and overall freedom.

just because consoles don't have something doesn't mean PC can't. I personally did not ask to play on the same platform as them, and neither did plenty of console players. But with the vast majority of the playerbase in the cross-platform pool, we don't have much of a choice to play with each other, and we can't be limiting each other for the sake of being on the same level of freedom because that's just simply not going to be possible.

    Vigil:

Can recover from any negative status 100% faster (from 40s exhaustion to 20s)

If there is another survivors with negative status in range, the buff splitted by 2 for 2 survivor (and by 3 for 3 survivors)

    Does not persists & stack.

ehhhh I just hate the idea of making exhaustion stronger than it already is, it's already really short at 40s

vigil definitely needs a buff/rework, it's super bad for anything other than exhaustion or going against clown and freddy (even then, pretty bad lol), but idk man, that's just gonna end up being a buff to exhaustion that it really doesn't need. cause, realistically, people are not gonna slap on this perk for recovering to blindness or hemoragghe addons quicker lol. it'll be for exhaustion and ######### over Freddy.

that would also be really dumb against clown. would pretty much neuter his power.

RepostRiposte you are thinking wrong if it was only meant so the killer couldnt bring you across the map why is it based on the wiggle time if it was meant so the killer cant bring you across the map im pretty sure they would have made it set for a timer and after the timer the survivor automatically gets off but the wiggle time should be based on the speed of the players joystick/mouse

    no, it should not

you're not supposed to be wiggling out man, not unless the killer takes you too far, or your team helps you. wiggling out is literally just so you can prevent the killer from taking you all the way across the map if you want.

can tell by your posts that you're new. keep playing the game. you're complaining about things that don't make sense lol.

  • He's one of the weakest killers in the game. No.

  • Because he's already super easy, probably the 2nd easiest killer in the game. He doesn't need to be any simpler man, that's one of the only things with him that has a "skillcap." Cmon man. You'll learn it. It's not hard lol.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2001258#Comment_2001258

That’s the problem. Slugging isn’t fun for survivors and isn’t encouraged in the pip system

Twins have counters to prevent it, but nobody ever uses them because people have no idea how they work.

Both sides have counterplay and counterplay to the counterplay, you'll just never see that because most games are just 4man slugs at 3 gens against potatoes.

I don't go by the pip system for what's considered a win or a good game, so if that's where we're going to disagree, then that's all there is to the argument, really.

An entire game of tug-of-war where they're constantly fighting against my slugging and getting gens done while doing so, and I'm fighting against their pressure by keeping up the injures and downs with Victor, eventually either ending up in a 4man slug or all 5 gens done is a game that I consider to be very interesting, and they only happen when people actually understand how to play against Twins.

Winning (at least by my definition) a game like that is satisfying. If it ends in a 4man slug (where I definitely got hooks, didn't just 1-hook everyone), so be it. That was a full game where both sides played well and one came out on top. Just because I didn't get 8-12 hooks doesn't mean I didn't win.

That's a true Twins game, but as I said, you only get them here and there because of how many people lack knowledge of counterplay against Twins.

And as I do play survivor, this is fun to play against, but my teammates have to understand to kick Victor, stay on top of heals, group up when necessary, always keep Victor on the back, pre-drop pallets, hop in lockers when injured/far away from Charlotte, etc. None of that is difficult. The unfunness of Twins, from survivor experience, is the fault of the survivor teammates.

One survivor stands in away that you can't reel the other survivor in.

    Funny I guess.

so...every shot you get, someone's just there to bodyblock the chain?

someone is just hanging around when you're chasing someone for the entire game?

    1. They're not doing gens
    2. Walk forward and hit the bodyblocker

you get free hits, and apparently, someone hanging around you the entire game. that's like a free pig trap!

my guy, even if this was an actual issue, you're not getting sweaty swfs every other game. I've played a lot of Slinger, and I've had someone attempt this maybe once or twice.

  • @ClownIsUnderrated said:

Twins need something better for a power, because as of now what their power was supposed to be doesn't work to well because of how slow it is and how quick survivors do gens. Instead of the devs trying to improve that, people realized that they're actually designed to slug and camp everyone. I know people rate them high on tier lists because of how good they are at slugging and camping, but to me personally that shows how bad they're and how bad of a mistake BHVR made when making the Twins. Old Legion is actually better than them, I'll go that far.

Why is slugging an invalid playstyle? Just because a killer is good at slugging doesn't mean the killer isn't good.

The literal design of the killer IS TO slug. They created them in a way that Charlotte cannot quickly pick up the downs that Victor gets. They intended for Twins to slug. Be as efficient with Victor as possible, then clean up with Charlotte. Slugging is a big part of this.

I really don't understand the argument. They're a super good killer that excels at pressuring the map.

  • @Tsulan said:

This is the reason why I stopped playing Mendslinger. His power gets completely nullified by SWF.

    what lol

  • Autohaven for sure, but the rest are good. Asylum is kinda brighter than it was before.

Also, Swamp was never reworked. Not yet, at least.

  • @Kolossoni said:

    So far, I got:

    • Run SWF
    • Predict BBQ and run anti perks
    • Hope others do the same
    • Play selfishly and make sacrifices.

Do they sound like healthy gameplay to you?

    I'm not blaming the advisers.

The whole logic behind it is stupid and that's the game's fault.

Hold up, why are you just ignoring the DIRECT counters to BBQ/aura reading perks, which are lockers and hiding behind gens?

What's the point of telling people to not tell you about the direct counterplay to something, and when they suggest alternatives forms of counterplay, you go "Wow!! All this is so unhealthy and unrealistic!!!" Ok? Then...use the direct counter to the perk?

What is the point of this post? You already know what to do against it. If your teammates don't, then it is what it is, you're playing solo queue in a game without in-game communication; you have subjected yourself to this experience. If you have knowledge of the advantages a killer can have against you, then defend yourself against those advantages, and your teammates can do the same if they are also aware of them.

  • Wraith shouldn't have any help in the chase as he's a stealth killer. And I'm not saying you think he should, just in general.

Saying Wraith should have a chase power is like saying the silent hitman must have a minigun to be effective. No, he's a silent hitman, not a war machine.

Wraith, even before the invisibility buff, and now the speed buff, was actually an alright killer with the right build and playstyle. Now, I think he's a super-effective stealth killer, the best at this point IMO. The problem with how people rate his strength is that they rate it on his chase, where it should be on his stealth and how deadly his hit and run playstyle is.

You don't rate Oni's strength based on his stealth in Blood Fury lol, you rate it based on what it's good at - getting a ton of downs at once and playing super aggressively. Same thing with Wraith. As I said, you don't rate his stealth ability based on how good it is in chase, as that's not what he's supposed to be strong in.

I do like your first idea for the blink addons, definitely would run those here and there.

  • A good Blight, a good Demo, a good Billy, a good Pig, possibly a good Twins.

  • @Brokenbones said:

The reason the devs make killers 110% (or slower, in Nurses case) is usually to off-set their power being strong in a chase. Huntress, Deathslinger, Huntress, Spirit are the prime examples. Their power shines mainly in chase.

Hag is the only exception, but her power isn't really for chasing, it's for map control which makes her slower speed make more sense.

110% isn't that much slower than 115% but in loops the difference is noticable

Her power is for chasing. With a proper web, she'll be ending chases in around 20 seconds, there's just big setup time.

It's for map control in the sense that you're teleporting all around when your traps are triggered, but they are primarily your chase tool and they are very strong (and very annoying) when you have a survivor within your setup. She is 4.4m/s for this reason.

  • What? God no, please.

Having 2 blinks is a core of Nurse gameplay.

  • Blight. Easily.

Plague has too many issues and restrictions currently. With some changes to help her out, she could be closer to his tier, but Blight is in a REALLY good spot right now and is far more powerful than she is.

Mobility, great chases, super high snowball potential. All ya need.

See, i was under the impression that the locker thing was meant to be a means of escape when it was mentioned.

They can be, but honestly, your main focus as survivor - and just in general, not specifically against Twins - is time waste. You're always meant to go down as survivor, but it's how LONG it takes you to go down is what matters and the opportunities that you deny the killer.

So yeah, sometimes it's a means of escape. I've avoided getting hit by Charlotte by hopping in lockers several times, but I've also gotten hit out of them as well. Depends how far away she is. Either way, as long as I wasn't healthy, I wasted time and occupied Victor.

    Exactly.

And Victor is far too easy to dodge.

The Twins are the most frustrating killer to play as by far, against any competent teams.

    Pounce, miss, crushed.

    Pounce, miss, crushed.

    Repeat, repeat, repeat.

I meaaaaaaan, tbf, that's the case for any killer that has to aim an attack like that on console. It's more of a console/controller issue, not really a Twins issue.

  • @UncleStabby said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1983629#Comment_1983629

Okay but like, what if she just leaves you in that locker with victor and goes after your friends? That way she removes you from the game for a small amount of time, thus takimg away valuabke genny time. Then when Victor is gone he literally comes back in like six seconds.

    Well, what's the alternative?

You either lose 10 seconds of time on a generator

Or go down and potentially be the starting point of a massive snowball on your team that could win the game for Twins within the next 30 seconds.

You avoided being downed and evaded a chase. That's how you have to see it. Even though you lose 10 seconds of time on a generator, it doesn't matter, that was an interaction with the killer, and you were technically in chase. Think about the time it took them just to get you in that situation. Drop Victor, run over to you, hop on the locker, switch back to Charlotte and go through the fatigue, and then have no power for the next 13 seconds. What'd they get out of that situation? Nothing. You get away. You wasted far more of their time than they did yours.

Even if it's 20 seconds of time waste, that's more time than it takes to do a full heal without the assistance of a medkit or healing perks. Your teammate doing a heal during that time might be the reason you pull off a win.

  • @UncleStabby said:

Powerless? Charlotte has a crazy base lunge. That sounds like the argument of someone who doesn't know how to counter loops.

Her base lunge is the same as all other killers. You may have been using their teachable, Coup De Grace? (which is a bad perk, but does extend the lunge).

  • @Boss said:

    Sure, i'll try something...

    The Afterpieces

By pressing CTRL, you can switch between different bottles.

Each bottle has its own effect.

When pressing M2, The Clown drinks from the current bottle, gaining a buff for ~15 seconds.

He has 3 bottles by standard, and there's only 1 charge on each bottle. (Might seem low, but gotta make the Add-ons somewhat useful, right?)

Bottle #1 grants a Haste buff, bottle #2 grants a reduction to successful- & missed attack animations, bottle #3 grants...a reduced Terror Radius?

Effects do not stack, so you can't get double-Haste by reloading bottle #1 right after drinking it.

Instead, the new consumption replaces the old consumption, keeping the effect for ~15 more seconds.

You can combine the effects of different bottles, but due to the 1-1.5 second drinking animation, you'll have less time in total.

Add-ons can reduce reload speed, increase effect durations, increase effect effectiveness (such as even faster attack animations), even add new bottles with new effects like Exposed, Undetectable, etc. (The higher-rarity Add-ons, y'know?)

Why would i switch his Killer Power to him drinking from the bottles?

Look at his godamn belly, that screams beer belly to me!

ehhh that'd be boring. like, far more boring than what it is now.

the appeal of clown is there. throwing bottles is fun. gas clouds coming out is fun. there's a certain skillcap to it, placing your bottles in the right positions and zoning

this is kinda just "tap button to get speed" there's 0 skillcap to it, it honestly sounds a little worse, and just plain boring, yknow. there's nothing interesting about it and it removes everything that makes clown currently appealing.

  • 150% speed? My guy...

    That's as fast as Victor.

Sure, let people have their fun, what's wrong with deathsquads, bully squads, Spirit, Freddy, Dead Dawg, Hawkins, The Game, Hadonfield, NOED, Insidious, the second chance meta...

I'm a Blight main. I want him to be a fun, fair killer for everyone. The only think making him that way is the fact that he has counterplay. This dumb exploit removes that with near-zero skill or practice involved, on a killer with an insanely high skill ceiling to begin with I might add.

Blight without this stupid exploit is third only to Spirit and Nurse. With it he's still the same, just less fun to go against. That's not good at all.

As I said, NOBODY flicks with Blight. I have yet to go against more than 5 NORMAL Blights since his release. And maybe 2 of them knew what they were doing with Blight, one of them being AscenionWho.

People don't play this killer. If EVERYONE was flicking with Blight and people hated it (Like how you see Freddy every other game), I'd get it. But that's not the case. Again, I haven't gotten a single complaint about it, the only type of reaction I've gotten out of it was that I'm fun to play against, I'm the first good Blight they've played against, the hits I got on them were awesome, etc.

You still have to be a pretty good Blight to pull most of your flicks off as well, too. Can't just pick up Blight with a dpi switch and instantly reach his skillcap because you have flicks, no. It adds to his skillcap, it does not lower it in any way. It also adds to his fun factor.

But fact is, flicks do NOT remove counterplay. Is the counterplay different than base Blight's counterplay? Yes. However, is there counterplay TO flick Blight? Yes. You just have to understand what type of objects you can still get behind to cuck him out of his power, when to drop a pallet and what pallets you should be dropping, unpredictability (Blight expects to flick around this rock because you've been there this whole time, but moved at the last second. Might realize it a split second too late in his rush, he flicks around the rock and screws up. Human error. Happens all of the time. I do it plenty, I've seen tournament Blights do it, it's human error), using LOS similar to Nurse to keep him guessing with each Rush, making a good prediction an even better one on his part (again, a good Blight has to be using flicks in order for flicks to be effective).

Like I said, let the 5 people that flick with Blight have their fun, and let the people that have enjoyed going against it have their fun with it as well. You're complaining about it because you've used it, but not because you've gone against it. Most people haven't.

  • @MadLordJack said:

    It's an exploit.

It literally removes his only real counterplay, which is complete BS, and is only available to PC M&K players bwcaus sit involves setting your sensitive ridiculously high to take advantage of a split second when you activate the Lethal Rush attack when you don't have a turn lock. I hope they patch it out soon.

Oh, and it's also super easy to pull off, in case you were wondering. Ten minutes after I found out about it I was destroying short loops. Not. Fair.

10 people do it and it's very fun. Gives Blight a higher skillcap. I haven't gone against anyone who hasn't thought it was just simply very cool and enjoyable to go against, since literally nobody plays Blight (because he IS difficult). Let people have their fun, let potential with a character be a little higher than we all thought.

It is also very much counterable, you just have to be aware that they have it.

  • @UncleStabby said:

That Locker tip doesn't work anymore. Victor now has the power to trap people in lockers so Charlotte can get there.

I'm aware. Yes, it does work. Time waste. Massive, massive time waste. You can also get away for free depending on how far Charlotte is.

Here's the thing, you can either let Victor down you normally, allowing him to recover and continue roaming the map while you're slugged to down more survivors/attach to more survivors, OR, you can hop in a locker. This way, Victor is latched onto it, forces them to switch back to Charlotte, move allllllllll the way over to that locker, grab you, pull you out, hook you - and if you're far enough, she doesn't even get you. If you're not, still, you waste so much time and restrict Victor's ability to chain a bunch of downs/a down and an injure. Lockers are still very strong against them. Doesn't matter if he can latch on or not.

The strongest part of Twins is downing 3/4s of the team with Victor in the span of 15 seconds. This protects your team against that.

  • @AChaoticKiller said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1983099#Comment_1983099

Go against a good meta team that knows these things and it's nearly impossible to win.

    ^^^

It's very difficult to pull off a win with them if they understand your counterplay. Especially if they know about locker counterplay.

The thing about winning against good players as Twins is that you have to rely on Victor's stealth to catch them off guard so they can't get to a window, pallet, or locker. If they know Victor is coming, they will counter you completely.

However, even if all of your Victor play for the whole game is stealthy, they can STILL abuse you very easily by keeping Victor on their back. It's going to be veeeeeeery difficult if they understand how much that screws you over. If it's a good group of players, it's going to be difficult to get M1s as Charlotte, so your injuring might be reliant on Victor. However, keeping Victor for so long might give them enough time to just keep on top of heals, making your plays with Victor mean nothing.

Twins can still play around all of this though, it's just tough. Very tough.

  • @JPA said:

I hate playing against them as they usually just seem to have too good pressure for free.

It seems you don't see many Twins either lately, so I also never really played against them enough to figure out any counter strategies.

I only have 4 more Killers to unlock I believe, Twins included, so I'll probably try them eventually.

Copy and paste tips from a Twins player that goes against players that have literally no clue how to counterplay this killer all the time (and this is why they are hated, despite being a balanced pair of killers):

Get in a locker when Victor is near and you know Charlotte is far. Always get in one when injured. You completely deny a Victor snowball. If far enough away from Charlotte, you literally get away for free or delay the hit on you by 10-15+ seconds. Time waste is important!

Pre-drop a pallet and CAMP IT (Do NOT run around it). Crouch after vaulting.

Lots of meta perks counter them. Good healing perks as well. Unbreakable, WGLF, Soulguard, Exhaustion perks can help you rush to a locker to avoid Victor. Every healing perk is awesome against them. Iron Will is always great. Lucky Break combined with Iron Will would counter Victor hard, but Lucky Break is obviously pretty trash.

STAY ON TOP OF HEALS. Medkits are also fantastic against them.

When Victor misses a pounce, kick him. When Victor lands a pounce on an injured teammate, you can STILL kick him.

So, STICK TOGETHER. When Victor downs your teammate, kick him. Heal your teammate off the ground if you can (this is why WGLF is a solid pick). A lot of people don't know this, and it's ridiculous.

Camp windows. Again, do not loop around them. That gives a 6.0m/s+ killer with a mid-range pounce an easier chance of getting you.

Keep Victor on your back for as long as possible unless you need to get him off for some reason. If your team is injured, ALWAYS keep him on your back and allow your team to heal each other so you deny a Victor snowball. You can keep him on your back at any point in the game though, it's just especially important if your team is injured.

It's what most killers do now they are tired of the toxicity of swf do there daily and leave lobby dodge when they see 3 to 4 items being used

Dunno man. I main killer at red ranks, play every day for a couple hours, I think the issue is that a lot of killers think lobbies are toxic swfs when they're just a lobby of decent players, or players that are simply better than you.

Of course, an actual really good swf is very very very difficult to beat, but they're few and far between mang. Again, as a killer main in red ranks who players for dailies and fun, most games in red ranks are absolutely going to be beatable. In some games, of course not, the game at the VERY HIGHEST level is super unbalanced and favors survivors, but the majority of lobbies are going to be beatable solo queue/beatable swf players that are just throwing on items because it makes gameplay a little more interesting.

This doesn't meant that I don't think the balance of the game doesn't need to be reworked and overhauled, a squad of good survivors are stupidly hard to beat as the majority of killers, but red ranks are full of really bad/average players. Most of it is going to be on you just simply not playing very well. Can't use SWF as an excuse.

If ya play a game, ya lose hard, just move on from it and play the next. Don't let it get to you. It's just DBD. Try your best, you don't have to BE the best, and just be happy with what you do in a match rather than the sole outcome. Even as survivor, same thing. Don't have to escape every match, don't have to 3k-4k every match.

  • @DTJObe said:

SFW. Specifically, SWF on comms. As someone who enjoys playing Ghostface quite a lot (especially DH Ghostface), SWF ruins the killer experience for me. Survivors know that I'm coming before I've even fully left where I was, and by the time I get where I'm going another gen has gone off behind me.

I can deal with Brand New Parts. I can deal with the occasional multi-survivor hatch escape (as long as it's not all four). But I can't stand SWF players using 3rd party software to gain an advantage in a game that isn't balanced for that.

So, I'll be going back to checking Steam profiles before the start of every game and lobby dodging SWF. And if the queue times get too long, then I'll just quit again.

Because using 3rd party software that provides an in-game benefit over the opposition is the definition of cheating.

So do you have 1 bad game and stop playing?

  • Everyone gets the killer for free in the PTB

But no, the PTB does not affect live servers in ANY WAY. Nothing that you do on the PTB will transfer over to live.

"They pushed his camera forward to create a massive blind spot in front of him."

Like all killers have? Billy had a tiny blindspot, could(and still can) use his ability to check inside lockers and has an instadown. If anyone needs a blindspot up close, its Billy.

    "they reduced his fov."

No, all killers have the same FOV. It might seem smaller, but that's most likely due to different placement.

    "they added janky movement."

His movement was always janky, his camera now follows it a bit, there isnt really an issue other than taste tho.

"they nerfed his radius at the start of the chainsaw sprint to a 90 degree cap, where as you could 360 with the sprint before the nerf."

You mean they nerfed something that couldnt be countered? Shocking. I mean, they absolutely murdered survivors, remember when survivors could infinite through 1 single window? Now killers can counter it, absolutely unplayable as survivor now.

"they gave him a stupid roar that grates on my nerves to help rank 20 survivors without thinking about the good players."

Bubba has a sound that gives away when he starts sawing instead of revving. Billy needed that too. Whether the roar sounds nice is just a matter of taste.

"They removed all good addons and destroyed his diversity."

They removed all the broken addons, he still has diversity

"they nerfed his nerfed addons and made the only good one iridescent so you never have it."

Not really, his green and yellow ones are still viable against optimal SWF.

"It wasn't just the overheat mechanic that nerfed him. They did way more and made it unpleasant to play him."

I mean, again, thats opinion, not fact.

"I also think they made him slower, but that could just be the reduced fov."

different angles make speed seem different, again, both his FOV and MS have not been changed.

Not really, his green and yellow ones are still viable against optimal SWF.

    Do you have a source?

Very possible that they simply limit turn rate on PC so you can't benefit from high sensitivity, same with oni. And I actually hope they do it like that, benefiting massively from different settings just ain't right

funny thing is, oni still has a DPI flick lol

not a bad thing for blight to have it though. makes him super fun, its very very difficult to pull off and can be messed up easily, and not a lot of people do it/are ever going to do it. it's pretty interesting to play against, really.

They’re like mid tier, Victor can get looped around a damn rock lol.

He cannot. This was an issue in the PTB, no longer in live.

    Lol, ok...

I’ll just keep “accidentally” 4k’ing with my trash killer.

The Antidote is fantastic. Used properly the survivors should never ever get opportunities to use it themselves.

It seriously makes chases so damn easy when I Invigorate myself followed quickly with Intoxicating a survivor.

No hate or anything, I genuinely just wish I could watch your gameplay because there aren't any good Clown mains out there that I know of. I see everyone play the Clown fairly similarly and their playstyle with him doesn't ever seem very effective, so I would love to see what you do differently (obviously against good players, since that's what matters) than them, because you may have some effective strategy with Clown that most aren't aware of.

  • @danielmaster87 said:

It's not. You pick up Twins and see how hard it is to land a pounce. Again, a killer power countered by survivors moving left and right.

On console, sure lol. Do just fine as a PC Twins player.

  • Split up on gens. Avoid windows especially if he has bamboozle, and play pallets safe. Feel free to drop them early, as you can literally do 3 gens by the time he has tier 3. You can afford to use your resources pretty freely at that point. You'll do fine if you're competent.

  • No. Red stain encourages skillful gameplay on the killer side and can actually benefit you at certain tiles. What you're suggesting would mess with gameplay wayyyyy too much. This would actually harm killer.

  • Yeah, pretty much. I have a feeling his gameplay is just gonna be more boring and he'll have some movement penalties to using his power or something, but if I could dream of anything, bringing back parts of OG Fredster and creating a more unique and skillful kit would be ideal.

    I miss old Freddy.

  •  aim my mouse

I'm sorry, you're not a console player? My man...cmon. The problem is not with the game, it is absolutely with you or your machine running at 2fps. Getting spun has never been a problem for us PC players. We can be as precise as we want on here. Console can't. There is no reason for getting spun on PC other than having a really bad PC, a disability, or simply just being old and unable to track and aim.

  • New Killer: The Bee

    Power: Bee Throw

Upon pressing the power button, The Bee pulls out a dead bee, and can throw it at survivors. This dead bee PERMANANTLY applies the Torture status effect.

Torture status effect: Upon receiving the Torture status effect, survivor vision is obstructed by a giant blurry bee PNG that moves around the screen. Survivor hearing is hindered by an extremely loud bee buzzing noise that progressively gets worse as the match goes on. Survivors also move at an extremely slow movement speed of 5% as they are covered in honey. Survivors cannot interact with anything in the map, and they will intermittently hear a scream from Elodie Rakoto (every 5 seconds).

While Tortured, the killer can no longer down the survivors. The survivor will passively die over a time span of 3 Real Life Hours, and they cannot end their life prematurely unless they DC, which will give them a penalty of a Game Ban.

the perk quite literally encourages tunneling the obsession out of the game

i disagree with this person wholeheartedly, but you are wrong. dying light was changed over a year ago to no longer function this way.

Bbq should only get stacks after KILLING a survivor, that's more fair because wglf is very hard to get 4 stacks.

And yes Ggtw also needs a a Last change. (I Made a thread about that, Buff it to 60 sec. but it only Regress 15%).

    Lightborn is ok.

#########? why would you EVER say this? whats wrong with killers getting bloodpoints? its not like bbq gives a gameplay advantage. out of ALL the things to whine about, that is absolutely the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

plus, that would literally just encourage tunneling. current BBQ encourage first hooking EVERY survivor, going after multiple targets is rewarded. you'd just tunnel people to get stacks of bbq with this trash change.

stop whining about this pointless ######### dude. play the game and let people enjoy it alongside you.

  • uh, because it wastes a ton of the twins time.

don't focus on the 1v1 aspect so much. yes, after 6 seconds she can send him out to kill you again, but she's first gotta wait for the cooldown, send him out, start looking for you again, etc.

that is time waste, my friend. this game is not just you vs the killer, it's the killer vs your team of 4. while she's wasting her time just chucking her gremlin at you, your team should be getting the objective done.

  • @IWasLeft2Die said:

He did get a buff but a very minor one. He uncloaks slightly faster if i remember correctly (i think its less than a quarter second difference)

no. his speed boost after uncloaking (not speed WHILE cloaked, but the speed boost you get after an uncloak for previously 1 second) was buffed by .25 seconds.

    he does not uncloak faster.

  • cuz rank means nothing and gives you nothing, at least not for now.

I've seen this on a couple of threads now: What's the one thing you wish you had known when you were a new player - that one tip that would help you immensely in game?

For me, when playing killer, I wish I had known that the survivors could see your red stain (it took me a while to figure this out).

The existence of the red stain for sure.

  • @UncleStabby said:

The best possible tip a budding Bubba main can get is back-revving. Most if not all of yoyr downs should be chainsaw, and the best way to do this is definitely to get right up against your chase's back before you start revving.

this is bad advice imo. old bubba ya, new bubba no.

use it close to them obviously, but don't try to hug their back to get them, you can definitely do it sooner, especially with good addons.

Oh, I didn't know he can manually cut it off. I've played as him before but I didn't enjoy it. Which is sad having as many hours on the game as I do. :D

Does it consume a charge each swing? I've just never really noticed that dramatic of a difference if other people have done it but what you're saying would definitely make the most sense.

Hold up, you know you have to time your charges to get the maximum duration, right?
