7 whole minutes into the game and I've only saw 1 survivor. After I hooked them, I left to check on gens and after a little bit I noticed they weren't even doing them. They just played immersed hiding just dragging the game out. Tinkerer didn't even set off once in the span of 17 minutes. It was 3 fengs and a claudette who all had the default clothes on. My god the match was so boring I just quit the match and went straight to doctor with whispers slapped on. Never fun playing against survivors who play immersed because 95% of the time they're bad in chase and drop pallets early.

I've said this on both accounts.

    One to stop boosting.

One to stop survivors from stalling so killer gives up.

The no time limit thing was a nice concept maybe at one point but the game is far too familiarized now in the community. I think a 10-15 minute match time is reasonable. You want a balance between engagement but also progressing to the next match without being hung up. People saying theyll only play a few a night because some can last up to 45 minutes is crazy. I also think killers like Wraith who do nothing and cost us evader emblems should be worked on. Hopefully this eventually gets addressed. Game is in a better state but an unlimited time limit was not a good idea... ever in a PvP game.

Bubba dont need to use all 3 charges everytime. Are you sure it was too short for one charge?

Oh, I didn't know he can manually cut it off. I've played as him before but I didn't enjoy it. Which is sad having as many hours on the game as I do. :D

Does it consume a charge each swing? I've just never really noticed that dramatic of a difference if other people have done it but what you're saying would definitely make the most sense.

I just got Bubba the other day and I’ve been playing with him and his chainsaw isn’t downing survivors? It only takes one health state? And it seems to be extra slow and doesn’t last long at all? Am I the only one experiencing this? I don’t see anyone talking about this anywhere.

I've seen this too where he swings like two or three times and then it cuts out. Where he used to swing 5-7 times. I'm not sure what's going on with that either but it's nothing the official release patch notes have bothered mentioning. Just Clown, Trapper and Wraith.

  • I think it's just Steam and Stadia that do it? Or they're working on it. Everything else is separate.

  • I've never bothered with anything above 60hz for DBD. Sure it looks a lot smoother on higher monitors but gameplay wise I personally don't notice a difference. I have my fps capped at 75. Unlocked my card runs hot on anything. I ran Overwatch at 300fps and my card was well over 80C, I have a 1070 as well so that's not great. I dropped everything down to 75 locked and it stays below 55 for the most part. You'll want consistent frames on a cooler GPU than an overall higher frame rate which can lead to stutters. My opinion anyways. CS:GO is different for obvious reasons if you're a familiar GO player.

  • I pretty much just play my playstyle and change it as needed. I have one playstyle for SWF and one for no comms. I adapt to both but I approach both much differently. It's unfortunate that I have to go in with the mindset of "Oh, yeah they're not gonna unhook me and if they do it'll probably be while they're getting chased. So an unhook for another hook."

I wish people would feel more confident in running the killer or just feeling in control. Sadly, they don't. So I just play to pip when I'm with randoms. I used to run Prove Thyself, We'll Make It, Q&Q and Iron Will. Now I've been running more Q&Q, Diversion (pre-update as well), Deliverance and pretty much always lock in Iron Will. I honestly dislike relying on IW but it's just such a good perk until I get more comfortable looping which in the state the game is in currently, I don't feel that way. I mix and match stuff all the time for perks as I like trying out new ways to go about certain situations. Though I just try to do my best to be well rounded in a match with no comms. I'll get on a gen if someone's running with the killer and then get off it and immediately angle my way towards them when they get downed. If killer camps them depending my perk loadout I'll attempt to distract and/or go for the unhook. Outside of that honestly it's just kinda the way it goes. I've had people follow me in game at times and I've had people do exactly what you've listed you've seen. Hide in lockers in plain view, accidentally sandbag other players, attempt to blind killers while the killer is freely moving (big no-no). With cross-play it's a little harder but I used to just send messages asking if it was okay if I gave them a little advice. Now I just let what will be, be. They'll learn eventually and there's obviously a noticeable learning curve. If they choose not to learn then that's their prerogative and while I may end up dying in the match it is still very possible for me to achieve rank 1. Which I have done numerous times. Be calm, be chill. I know it's hard and it's easy to get worked up but benefits neither you or them.

Something I forgot to include is that I tend to intentionally run killers as much as I can. Of course I'm not the best at the game so I will always go down at some point or multiple points in the match but I try to do it to give my randoms more flexibility on gens and more comfortability.

  • Figured I'd leave a comment finally.

I followed DBD before official release and then played it on console release. Eventually also having the steam version. I've loved the game. I took the bad with the good but ultimately still loved it. I severely disliked the patch that goofed up survivor cameras if they were hooked in basement. I think that was when Oni was released? I never really had a huge issue with the game prior. Since then (in my personal opinion), it feels like each patch addresses something that should've been fixed 10 patches ago while new bugs develop.

Recently it was the Coldwind Farm totem bug. It took 5ever for them to patch it. I let it slide once I heard the UI/movement update. I also assumed they were waiting for the Series X/PS5 version. It still wasn't fixed when those versions were out. There's also massive stutter on the Series X in a few maps within specific areas of said maps.

There is also the game STILL misreading being in the dying state when you get plucked after entering/exiting a locker in rapid succession. The game shows you are still in the injured state while you're on the killer's shoulder and now breaks the game for the killer. Survivor cannot wiggle but can be stunned free. The killer however is stuck never being able to interact with anything. Definitely sounds like a bug I'd want persisting for almost a year. Oh, but it got fixed, right!? *looks back at the patch notes for 4.0.0* I think it was 4.0.0 anyways. Nah. Had it happen again just before new patch dropped and haven't read about a fix so I assume it's still there but maybe it is gone now. I can't say with confidence that I believe they fixed it though.

I forgave the hit detection when they started up dedicated. I understand what happened. They weren't really slow to fix that at all. I got off the game finally for a while when The Twins were released due to the many bugs that came with it. What I can't forgive is the fact that this current build was in PTB and reported yet was still released. I'm insulted as a player. Did BHVR think it would go unnoticed? It didn't. Even the newest archive/rift are a bit dull. My question is, why bother with PTB at that rate? It may as well be a content preview version. I have hope the devs will listen to the feedback on this one. I hope to see the game come out stronger. This currently is unacceptable. Unlike certain people, I do actually play both sides but I am a survivor "main" just because I tend to play more in a group. As a Killer it was pretty easy to tell when my hit shouldn't have hit. I've gotten messages about it. I've even whiffed someone standing in front of me which is pretty abnormal. I don't see me going out of my way to play any time soon but I will be sure to check for released updates on the hotfixes and I'll jump on to check it for myself once it's delivered. While I'm very disappointed I'm not at a point where I think the game nor devs are a lost cause. I understand everyone's frustration and hope we'll all be able to enjoy the game we've spent many hours on, or have just picked up, without these issues.

My apologies for the rant and thanks to anyone who read. :p

This is how madness tier 3 works in a nutshell:

Most other non snap out of it actions and item uses are disabled until you finish snap out of it.

This includes healing action which deep wound's mend action is.

This is fair as he cannot normally apply deep wounds meaning if you go down to it its entirely on the survivor's team for even letting deep wounds be applied that game.
