Ok.
I believe you, but the way we remember things aren't necessarily how they actually happen.
When I crunch the numbers at the end(which is what I intend to do) I'll take what you said into account, and also compare, to see how it stacks with the numbers

Fair enough. I'll take all I can get 😁
I’ll bookmark this thread for when I get a chance. 😁

New DS is better.
There have been many discussions showcasing numerous (and varied) examples of it doing way more than detract from tunneling.
It's the best perk in the game for survivors, followed closely by Adrenaline.
Pretty sure OoO is better than both of those.
-
I’m rarely hit by DS because I slug.
-
I can do ten games without ruin but I’m not putting the perk on. XD
-
Why is bamboozle so low?
-
I ditched ruin and started doing better.

Try 100% sensitivity, it feels like 70% and on legion in hawkings it's borderline unplayable even on ps4 pro boosted mode
I have max sensitivity and I’m on an old PS4.

Whether you play fine or not the camera sensitivity has been slow down by the patch, so defending a situation which caused a bug has no meaning whatsoever
I haven’t noticed this.

Can you add a step 5,
Fix the sensitivity on console? It's impossible to play killer after the latest patch
I played killer just fine earlier today.

4-man OoO insta-heal swf and omega-blink ebony mori Nurse.😈
Just kidding, I’m gonna upgrade Steve and then get his perks on Claudette, then I’ll upgrade nurse or huntress.

That's nothing to do with the gameflow/gameplay though, just killing people instantly is bad design, as is gen rushing, these killers allow people to end games super quickly and ruin everyones experience.
As someone with adept for them and countless hours, they are the most boring killers by miles to play as and against. Demogorgon and new freddy are well designed by miles, and I can't wait for Demo to get buffed even from a survivor perspective, I enjoy playing against them.
When I play against the top 3 I just roll my eyes as someone gets downed in the first 10 seconds every match, matches end too quickly and the only way anyone survives is if the killer is awful.
I like facing Nurse,Billy and spirit. I find Demo quite easy to face, his shred destroying pallets isn’t that strong.

Oh ok, sorry, it’s just I don’t use enduring. Also when were the stats of your bubba games gonna be shown? I remember you talking about them and I got pretty excited to see the results
I haven’t been able to pip so I canceled the experiment, I mostly safety pip even when I 4K.
-
Enduring made DS useless (before the stun time increase) so it was changed.

I mean killers also have second chance perks like noed. They can completely counter the counter, which is DS, by using enduring. People can use insidious to counter borrowed time. You want to stop getting looper? Just slap bamboozle, enduring, spirit fury, and brutal strength and you can just counter a survivors only way of getting distance
Enduring doesn’t affect DS.

Haha thank you ♥️ but judging by the fact you know everything I know in terms of his builds, addon combinations and overall chainsaw usage it's save to say there's not much of a difference between us. We're both capable of using Bubba to his full potential which in most cases results in rather quick games and "4k-safetypip" for using his ability.
True :)
-
@TheGorgon said:
Nah, Bubba sucks. If it's @GrootDude , he's absolutely the best and will always be at LeatherFace. Other than that though, even at green ranks... you will be having a difficult time with him. Love the design, love the franchise, but he doesn't work right now in the majority of players mind. Of course, any killer can become really good if enough time and input is injected into them, but...
I just don't see why Bubba is even considered as "stronger". Other than that, I agree with the tier list. Why has Amanda been shooting up in the rankings over Myers though? Did she get a buff I'm unaware about?
@Yamaoka is a much better LF than me I can assure you. :)

Yes, place them on the hook and facecamp them so all of the other 3 come to the rescue, like our big bubba over here
/s
I don’t camp unless it is endgame/ people are swarming the hook.

Any advice for killers wanting to get away from Ruin?
I have very mixed feelings about the perk for a number of reasons, but I've yet to discover a similarly potent tool for slowing the game.
I use PGTW, it works well for me.
-
I don’t think the difference is very big tbh.
-
You make me fell invincible!
-
If you want ruin then use it. It isn’t even a good perk honestly, also, it is your job to kill the survivors and in order to do that, you have to stop them from doing gens.

Came here to see Small Game, I am disappoint.
Me, what I've been enjoying lately is Inner Strength, Fixated, Better Together and Open-Handed.
For Killer, Bloodhound and Sloppy Butcher.
Was using small game but wanted to use OoO and decided they didn’t pair well.

Small game is a training wheels perk.
I've always been a totem hunter, long before Inner Strength. I know all the spawns on all the maps. I don't need Small Game to find totems, and on some maps its even counterproductive (like in The Game).
Let's not pretend small game is a good perk. Its not. Its best use frankly is to warn you of devious Trappers that are creative in their trap placements. Anyone can learn totem spawns if they put the time into it.
Use small game as your training wheels, but you should graduate from it as soon as possible. There are better perks to take up the slot.
I know every totem spawn aside from those on the Hawkins map, small game still lowers the time you spend looking. I always use this perk now.

I loved running everyone else over :D my kill count was often higher than Jason’s. :P

Wasn't part 7 and part 2 Jason the meta of Jasons?
One that can teleport and phase walk insanely fast, and the other one can run.
Of course, if you had Savini Jason, you'd just win the game because he was WAY TOO OP!!!
Part seven had slower shift, increased water speed and more weapon damage, he was kinda the weakest. I think part 3 and 9 we’re meta, I rarely saw a part 7.

I'm guessing spamming the kill button for Survivors to die wasn't fun anymore after the 4th time...
There's such thing as being too OP as a Killer... And it gets boring.
I became really really good on both sides and the game just lost its fun. I mained Vanessa and Tithony (don’t remember how to spell it) and part 7 Jason.

I did this on the Friday the 13th forum, but I said DBD was better, and they got so triggered. DBD forums seems to be much harder to bait.
You should’ve make a nurse, noed, spirit or DS. People eat those up!
-
I quit Friday The 13th and came here.
-
I’ve never complained about noed, I often cleanse every totem before the first or second gen pop, it take ight longer on The Game and Lery’s.

@Kilmeran said:
@GrootDude But unless I am wrong, you have hit red ranks on LF, yes? And been successful with him?
I'm not too concerned with your current rank only 10 days after a reset and with a bugged to hell and back matchmaker going on.
I'm already losing about 2 weeks of this current reset due to the matchmaker and refusing to play until it's fixed. And with my limited time as it is, I doubt I will climb much in only a little over two weeks. Next reset I am going to be way, way down in the grays.
At this point, I'll probably just keep myself there and farm BP with BBQ, gen kicks, chases, and maybe one sacrifice a match. And just let survivors escape so I don't pip too much as I try to unlock decent builds.
Yep, been at the red ranks and been quite successfull.

@themirrortwin I think that in this reply you are moving the goal post slightly. First, you absolutely do not need to use the holy trinity of Spirit, Nurse, or Billy to be successful at rank one. Just look at @GrootDude with his Leatherface.
However, the clown is not very viable at red ranks. Unfortunately, not every character or hero in a PvP game is going to be viable. There will always be some that just don't do well against highly skilled opponents due to weaknesses in their core design. Clown definitely seems to be one of them. This isn't unique to DbD.
But Clown is not an example of the game being survivor sided. He's an example of lack-luster design left to rot for too long.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/705368#Comment_705368
@Omans And to be honest, as an Overwatch player since launch day, I've seen the exact, same posts over there. The other thing is, as I mentioned above in regards to his clown comment, an unfortunate by-product of any hero or character based PvP game is that there are inevitably going to be some that are just not decent picks at the high ranks against very experienced opponents. Clown is one of them here. Overwatch has its share as well. As does Paladins, and even the MOBA of your choice.
Sometimes as a Meta shifts, some of those outliers might get their spot. Look at how long it took Orisa to become Meta.
Unfortunately, BHVR has done next to nothing to help shift the Meta here in DbD in at least two years, and takes way too long to try to make weak-designed killers more viable. Look at how long it took them for Freddy. Clown has needed help for far too long now. And it isn't like they have a mega-investor backed pro-scene to worry about like Blizzard does with the OWL, where, right or wrong, they worry about changes and how that might shift things and hurt viewership over there. Look at what GOATS did to it, and now Double Barrier is starting to take a toll.
BHVR doesn't even have that to concern itself with, and is still slow enough that a snail looks like a jack rabbit.
I’m not rank one rn, I’m still purple but I often do reach red ranks.
