Only when a God Nurse has it, otherwise it's relatively fine.

Can you even depip? I remember a year ago that was the case but the last time I faced an AFK wraith(Like this month) I got out and got a safety pip.

How about memorizing totem spots?? Is it really that hard?? I find totems very quickly by memorizing their locations. I guess it requires too much brain cells for you to do. Just saying.
You probably need those cells. Just saying since you didn't get my sarcasm that I wasn't even trying to go for.

Seems like adapting to meta perks and playing around them is exclusive solely to killers. God forbid survivors actually have to adapt to anything. If anyone complains about survivor being boring, people like OP ( who happen to be the majority on the survivor side) are the reason why.
Shame how the community is sabotaging the game's own potential.
What about me now?

This is kinda the new trend with some perks. The Blight chapter gave us undying which also does more than one thing.
I'd hesitate to use deception without the free dance with me. I think the killer would be less inclined to check the locker if they saw scratch marks running away from it.
Honestly the perk is still doable without the free dance with me, Scratch marks stay for quite sometime and can be weirdly placed to a killer. That's why sometimes weird pathing from the survivor can confuse the killer to gain distance. It's also how I use quick and quiet and head on, heck might even mix it up with the head on combo first then do deception on the second loop. Could be funny.

@Sonzaishinai said:
I mean who would fall for deception if there are scratchmarks leading away from the locker.
Also it already was nerfed, now you can't enter the locker after activating it for 3 seconds.
Rip fun deception/ quick and quiet build
Nah that's not the point. Just saying how weird it is to have two perk benefits in one.
Also that's why you run fixated or urban evasion for the fun build. Of course my shock to find out this already has a built in dance with me so that was a waste of perk slot.

And it doesn't even have a direct counter. Lighborn doesn't help against it and Wraith is already a rather weak killer. Bring 2 flashlights into the trial and you can harass him to death.
Yep. I stopped playing Wraith recently since there's pretty much a flashlight user nearly every match right now and just really annoying having to deal with it every time.
-
Outdated mechanic that should have disappeared a long time ago.

@Healthore77992 said:
Killers were and are still dealing with survivor BS perks with no counter for YEARS, now when killers finally get strong combo, which let's not forget can be destroyed in FIRST MINUTE OF THR GAME, let's also not forget that killer must apply pressure in order it to work, survivors are crying like there is no tommorow, pathetic really..
Yep. You also disable the killer's two perks now instead of one but clearly it's broken since totems are so hard to find /s. As always when the survivor has to adapt that's a no no and not fun.
-
None as hard as nurse.
Though I'm confident I can run no addons or meme perks with Blight or Oni that's about it I guess. People say blight is the second hardest thing in the game but I kind of mastered the hero in an under a day but Nurse is just impossible for me.
-
Scratched mirror myers is fun to go against as a survivor. All you need to know is that he can't catch up to you easily and would be actively trying to cut you off so just position yourself accordingly with that in mind. Windows and pallets are his enemy.
Always do generators at the side where you have ample enough time to react if he comes heck I would argue the Middle generator in lerry is actually the safest part in the map. The windows there would give myers a head ache if you can react fast enough.

Switching between the Twins takes time, dispatching Victor time and even recalling Victor after 45 seconds takes time. Longer cooldown of Victor regen is not needed. They have enough time penalty for their powers in general, they don't need additional cool down.
Oh yeah dispatching victor absolutely takes time like...1 seconds lmao and the switch takes 0.25 seconds from Charlotte to victor and 3 seconds from victor on a small killer that runs 150% movement speed with a generous hitbox is a grave penalty.
-
Diversion now how has gains despite being inside a chase.
-
Same reason the original Ruin was changed to it's current state. I guess it's faster to complain enough to get something changed than to actually be better.
-
When you get a 4K they won't reply with a GG
-
What's the point if you just want to roleplay like that pretty sure there are cosmetics close to what you want.

There was 4 gens left. They'd had so many hooks and it took us so long to do the first gen so why did they need to sweat like that?
Why is it the killer's fault for playing normally when the survivors conveniently fed the killer that situation?
-
Sounds like a waste of time adding an in game recording function when they could barely fixtheir game without opening a can of bugs at the same time.
As for recording your game, I have a third party software for that. You can fine one too in the windows store if i recall
-
As someone who plays both sides shoutout to the killers who try to play by the survivor rule book but get nothing but T bags in return, you deserve better.
-
@Decarcassor said:
I don't think they need any big buff or nerf but rather some fine tuning.
The dumbest thing about how the Twins currently work is that crushing Victor is generaly a bad idea because he will just regrow on Charlotte in 5 seconds. Meanwhle he is not that big of a threat if the whole survivor team isn't injured and Charlotte has no way to recall him other than waiting.
Also the camera lock on Charlotte's fatigue is extremely annoying and complelty unnecessary. She allready can't move or attack, at least let her look around like Nurse or Legion.
Laslty I wish there was a way for Charlotte to just drop Victor without taking control of him. Sometimes you just want to use her bother's Killer Instinct and having to switch in and out with the fatigue waste tons of time.
Yikes 5 seconds for crushing victor?
*Laughs in legion's 20 seconds cooldown for missing an attack*
-
I think some slugging is fine but if that's your entire match philosophy from the start then...I guess that's fine too but I think that's pretty boring for everyone on both side. As a Killer I would say I play nearly the same as you except I switch up gears by the end when I'm noticing I should take the match a bit more seriously since everyone seems to be on communication and actually coordinated.
-
I don't have the killer so I have no idea how her power works but seems kinda BS how easy she gets victor back. I kicked him and a short time later it's back again? IMO should be some penalty there like longer CD.

Yeah last night I had a few unfair killers. There was a huntress that had 2 people on hooks so camped in between them, then slugged the third person and camped their body and waited for me to come over. I also got camped by a bubba and a Pyramid Head.
How was the huntress unfair or toxic? What the hell? Sounds like the best decision you can make in that scenario when you had two guys hooked.

That's a really interesting idea that seems very obvious, but clearly not many people have thought about it. I think that would honestly be one of the better options out there, changing the spawning rule itself would eliminate a lot of frustration of survivors escaping super early and would also make it a lot simpler for new players to understand instead of the current rules. The question is whether the devs have thought about this or if they're overthinking things.
Kinda weird but isn't that the case like prior to End game collapse update?
Then again it's been quite some time and I must be remembering wrong and all I remember prior to EGC is the hatch stand offs with the last survivor lmao
-
Blame the rift for that. Probably just farming their quests at this point
-
Hatchet are notorious to have some weird hitbox and good huntresses knows how to make use of it as well as survivors knowing how to avoid these scenarios like you can snipe someone behind a generator if they're fixing it but not when they're crouched. Though the new chapter might as well broke a lot of unknown things so who knows, pretty sure people are still discovering bugs.

If it's possible to register two hits without looking like it on the survivor side something needs to be fixed ASAP
Yes it can happen here's my example.
Watch "Dbd" on Streamable.Guess my body was server side body was left in front of the killer lmao.
-
My guess is the killer is lagging like mad since seems like it is in the video. Probably already registered two hits on you but visually it doesn't look like it.
Either that or hacks.

Old gas heaven was super RNG dependent.
Soemtimes the middle had a lot of pallets and sometimes it had barely any
Plus either the window would either give you a headache or slightly.
-
Don't hold W with no single thought. Try to bait some of his bottle then change to your actual destination, When you waste his bottles he turns into knife man,
-
I'm assuming dying light is bad for a lot of people since I never seen this perk in action as a Survivor. It's my personal favorite for my Oni.
-
I hope it's an actual rework and not something garbage like just adding Map version 1,2,3,4,5 like with elementary.
-
Nah the map is just that crappy as well as Ormond for blight. Desperately needs a collision update on the terrain.
-
Experiment with how much you can get away with your ability's lunge plus the initial turn you can do some sharp direction change since it has no collision to bump into walls you can get away with some nasty hits, it's difficult in indoors map but the opportunity is there. That's about it. Caught a lot of survivors off guard in Midwich.
-
I feel you man. When I don't use DS the killer is so afraid of this perk but when I finally decide to have fun again with interesting build of course everyone just doesn't give a crap about DS and straight ups picks me up then it's like a free tunnel from there afterwards.
-
Locker grab is like a mix grab for me either I get them while they're coming out or as always I get the animation and a split second later I don't apparently and I know the time window for prior to the update but it's just random now. But it's not as awful as generator grabs that's straight up bs since I'm running Undetectable build and the amount of times I sneak up on a survivor and yank them off then I'm just forced to do an M1.
-
What is up with the cooldown, Just kicked victor and a short time later she spawns another one? So there's no penalty for getting rid of victor like a long cooldown on her?
Keep in mind just making assumptions on her power, I don't feel like buying her and like I only got paired against the twin like twice. She's a very rare killer on my end.
-
Yeah, I sometimes lose track of which is which in my many things I already have to keep track of. Like man I lost to a DS as well because all the survivors are using the same character and I picked up the a survivor I previously hooked..
-
Not very hard and not complicated as Nurse. All you need to do is get a feel of your how far you can get away with decrease hatchet wind up ad ons in loops and I guess how Survivor cope with it. The rest is up to your aiming abilities.
-
I'm still experimenting with the perk but so far I have some mixed feelings about it. The perk sounds good on paper but in reality where you have a bunch of random it kind of screws the others that's not you and indirectly helps the killer. It's good in early but when the generator gets very limited and condensed around the map that's where the problem starts showing. In my brain, I imagine this would be good for a coordinated SWF but sadly I don't have those to experiment with it haha
-
Spine chill is really good even red ranks, it destroys stealth killers it's quite sad.
Resilience by itself is kind of eh though but I do enjoy combining the two for vault satisfaction.
-
Huntress. People underestimate this killer so much since she's 110% movement speed and to a Survivor that's like free loop city.
Then the survivor starts to realize "Oh crap she's not missing her hatchets and isn't falling for anything" but it's too late.

If a videogame is getting to you to the point where you're finding it "stressful" to play, it's time to quit that videogame, and play something else because that's not healthy. Or if you're not gonna quit, you should seriously consider changing how you think about DbD and the way you play. It's only a videogame, it shouldn't be stressing you out, you should be playing it purely for fun that's what they're there for.
That's silly mate. Anything that has some sort of competitive mindset to it can be frustrating to the person taking some semblance of seriousness to it that's including games especially when being a killer requires to have 100% it if you want to do good. There's nothing unhealthy about it, It's just competitive spirit.
It's unhealthy when you're taking it extremely seriously that it affects your personal life/health or how treat others. So please spare me with that holier than thou speech as this doesn't affect anything outside the game for me.

@Zayn said:
Try solo survivor. I've almost exclusively played in solo queue for the close to 3 years I've been playing and to say that it isn't stressful is just wrong.
Never said survivor wasn't stressful though? I said in Comparison survivor is pretty relaxing. Never got stressed as a survivor and like you I've been playing solo queue since I bought the game(2k hours) and at best annoyance that the teammates were dumb.
-
@xenotimebong said:
I wouldn’t say survivor is relaxing. But it has peaks and troughs - you’ll be chased, which can be stressful, but then you’ll be rescued and someone else will take the killer’s attention and you can sit there on a gen sipping your beer and reading a text, and you get to relax.
Whereas when you play killer you have to be constantly doing stuff that taxes your brain a bit - you never get that downtime where you can just sit back in your chair and let your mind wander. Unless you’re absolutely wiping the floor with the survivors, in which case you can just sort of go on autopilot and relax.
I mean in comparison to the things you listed sounds pretty relaxing to me and that's just the simple version. Breaking down the things killers have to go through is a headache.
-
Ivory Mori should have been Ebony and these things should be really difficult as hell to find. Heck maybe even cap the ebony you can hold so its more difficult to hold more of these on mass.
These offerings should be feared since you know...you're the goddamn killer and with its current state it's a joke.

yes, this is the only reason except natural reasons such as boredom, i dont care about some minor perks or strong/weak killers/surviviors or temporary bugs, winning/losing in general, but when 4 best maps in game become unplayable and this is not some mistake but an official change i have no other choice.
Bye no need to make a forum post about it.
