People are new to the game let them be. Though rather farming when I was new I always thought it was faster to just play normally then get to the next match rather than staying in one match farming for a long time.
-
Oh so that's why he does a rawr...
-
No point arguing with people saying this or that killer doesn't require skill. They do anything to put you down if they can't throw salt on your killer they blame your perk combination saying it doesn't require skill if not the add ons. Until you go play knife man clown without perks/add ons. Just play whatever you want.

I wish I can bounce of clown's stomach

Where can I find this?

DBD is a competitive game just not tournament level. It's never going to be tournament level which I find hilarious with people having tourneys for this game. There's outrageous rules in place because the game isn't balanced.

Apart from being dismissive of the fact they flashlight blind me even when I was facing a wall because something is off with flashlights lately; they were mostly pretty supportive.
It's actually really annoying too because I was like "I will send you a replay, let me post on your profile" and I went to do that and shadowplay only record 5 minutes back and it happened like 7 minutes before then; so now I look like a liar too lol. Just makes you feel fantastic all around.
I mean it's not like they did anything wrong, I wish they had but apart from the chain stunning flashlights while click spamming and t-bagging in game, they were nice and fairly supportive after the game. If they were toxic and cursing me out it probably wouldn't bother me to the point of self-reflecting on why I ever play this game; I am used to that behaviour I can ignore it.
Say GG and leave the lobby immediately then you don't have to read anything negative. Also the game doesn't revolve around killer you could play survivor and relax for a bit.
-
Legion was a killer they have zero thoughts on its power other than a reason to introduce cosmetics(facts). His whole chapter and even after the chapter ended was a massive circus.
-
It's time to quit DBD when the game affected your mental health so much you wished the survivors was toxic instead in the post chat lmao.
-
The game is survivor sided if the killer plays according to the survivor rule book and plays for points. Now if you're actually playing to 4k regardless of any means then the game can be killer sided and just a one sided massacre with Top tier killers. Be it slugging, camping, etc. There's a reason a Slugging God nurse is just insta DCs.

Just saying that you still can't attack after blinking.
It happens so often.
I hate it
Never happened to me but that should be fixed.

I was rank 4 when I played that match, which moved me back down to rank 5. I eventually got back into rank 4 after that, though. And no, I don't have any footage because my PC can't handle DBD by itself that well, can't imagine how bad it would be if I'm recording it lol.
That explains it. Yeah I do believe emblem system is harder in red ranks now from what I noticed. Seems like I have to do a lot of things now compared to lower ranks. There are times I'm an inch away from getting a pip despite getting some saves, killer interactions and generators this would have been a pip in lower ranks.
-
Any footage of this? and what rank are you?
I think emblem system is a bit more harsher with emblem points the higher you go but I had a Wraith afk the entire match so I only did generator the entire game then left. Still safety pip, this was an instant depip like a nearly a year ago.
So I'm guessing this isn't a guaranteed safe pip in red ranks but in lower ranks it is?
-
This is your second time posting this. And I'm starting to believe you are a try hard for this.

-
Why would you hate him? He's the one doing maintenance on the realm's grass growth.
-
I think you don't know what's broken man and just say "What I personally find unfair"
Only thing broken from what you said is from Ghost face the stealth reveal is inconsistent. There's also that Nurse fatigue cheese where lunging at the very last moment wouldn't turn your camera down and there's also some bug where you can actually look up while fatigued lmao.
-
Should have equipped a try hard build with a strong killer in the next match and tell them that's how try hard looks like.
-
It's always good to know when to prioritize healing or keep working on objectives.
-
Blame rift.
-
Rank system is perfectly fine haha.
-
Taking a DS early is only good if you can afford it which usually mean when the killer is in a good position in the match. Good pressure on the survivors and the survivors not doing anything so you're confident to take a stab in the back as investment for later game when you have to be serious ergo no more playing around let's take someone out permanently off the match. The advice is awful though if as I implied the survivors are actually good and obviously you shouldn't do this with that said I don't think I ever seen anyone suggest "Eat a ds" as a counter, Usually I would see people say just slug.
-
There's no counter to that other than buying time as much as possible. You wasted a minute of the killer's time so that's a win for the team but seeing as 2 generators didn't pop at all in nearly 80 seconds. The team is slacking.

They actually said in the recent livestream that it will be more sooner than later.
"Yes. There's an internal version in testing right now with a raised and pulled back camera. It's really good but not 100% ready yet and they can't announce an ETA yet but it will be sooner rather than later. It's almost there!"
Oh so in 6 months. That's pretty early.

Don't worry. The basic attack requirement killed the perk anyways so you will see it maybe 10 times per year at most.
Didn't even know about that new implementation. Yikes it's already a very rare perk and now even more so.

They're working on raising his camera, if that's what you mean. It's not an instant fix because they have to adjust animations for it, but it is coming.
Alright end of 2021
-
Nah. next you'll ask for grass sounds to be nerfed then footsteps.
-
Anyone who says Ormond is a dead zone needs to get better since I am 100% sure all you did prior to the change is drop pallets left and right.
-
First they should change the fact that a Survivor can stop regression mid chase by simply tapping the generator. It's very dumb how they could undo a killer investing 2 seconds of his time kicking a generator only for it be pointless in a split second.
-
Ivory mori should have been Ebony and these things should have been legit hard to find and not something you can hold in your inventory in mass.
-
Only thing they need to change about devotion is that dumb thing when it prestiges and resets to the lowest amount of shards you can get per level again.

Which rank and how many hours do you have? Because anyone who knows the game enough and has many hours as a solo survivor in red rank would know it isn't easy to do all totems + gens
Currently Rank 4 survivor would be rank 1 if I wasn't busy playing cyberpunk. I have 1572h in the game and I would post my stats here according to that dbd stats site but eh I rather not risk a ban and tread the forum's rules.
Because you're not supposed to do everything. Survivor is team based THIS is 4 v 1. It is not the game's fault if your randoms refuse to get better as players. Balancing the game because the players refuse to get better is such a bad way to look at things. You would be handholding your players as if they're children and get what they want which is Whine nerf these two perks with obvious solutions instead of getting collectively be better.
That's akin to me whining on CSGO(Team based game) that I can't push a site because my team can't complete their smoke set ups nor aim therefore please make it easier for me for I am solo queue.

Quote: "I’ve heard gens can get done really fast, but that requires them to actually repair each gen and for the killer to be really bad"
Gens can get repaired quickly even if the killer is a literal god. Not saying I'm a god but YOU tell me who looped me long enough to justify 4 gens in 2 minutes?
It merely didn't record the few seconds it took to hook the first survivor. Other than that that's just how fast gens go.
2 minutes for 4 gens even if you end every chase in 5-15 seconds.
However I'm not running slowdown perks most of the time so I don't really have the right to complain. I'm just saying gen speed is ridiculous if people really try to repair them instead of hiding for minutes.
Incoming Clown mains without add ons and perks typing out how good they are in red ranks and this scenario never happened to them.

Yikes isn't an argument. I play solo, I do not have the time to go around the map looking for 5 totems and do gens.
I play solo my entire dbd time. Solo isn't an excuse not to do totems nor should a game be dumbed down because randoms refuse to get better.

This has already been discussed many times and clarified by mods and devs. It's not about AFK'ing and it's not about whether or not the killer was still playing. It's not even about the bodyblock which in itself is not bannable. It's about griefing and taking the game hostage for one player. I'd say the OP is walking a thin red line. Obviously, they weren't aware and they should not be banned over one instance. But it's definitely a situation that could put someone in trouble.
Maybe they should have put more thought onto their killer next time.
-
Not bannable since you're technically still playing although it is a nasty strategy lmao.
-
Either they're new to the game or veterans. If you're the latter you sorta get bored holding M1 after putting hundreds of hours playing as a Survivor. They only start to actually put effort when the killer is winning.
Oh then there's also the fact that you have to put do other stuff other doing generators, You don't get a pip just by doing that. That's what happens when a match can end in minutes if Survivors are dedicated to holding M1. Not enough points for everyone.

You only get midwich once a month if you play once a month.
Damn so you get midwich a lot and you still can't do bones there? Yikes.
-
Dying light. Personal favorite on my Oni that downs survivors pretty fast.

I'd like to see all these killer mains playing against undying + ruin on a map like hawkins/midwich where it's incredible difficult to find totems, specially as a solo survivor. Doubt they'd be too happy about being told "Just do totems 4 head"
Still doable. Got a good grasp on totem spots on Hawkins, as for midwich. Maybe it would help if I didn't get the map like once a month to experiment on it.

You know what, fair. I'm just of the opinion that giving trapper 2 traps at base won't be enough to buff him, but I could be wrong. Trapper also just goes my way of playing, so this buff idea is in favor of getting him into chases quicker without having to sacrifice his power.
That's just a simple buff idea people have been preaching for years. People hate the fact that it's basically a requirement for trapper to use a bag add on otherwise you're giving yourself a huge handicap when you could be using that extra add on slot for something else.
I could make a whole post talking about the buffs but I don't feel like thinking about it then typing it all out since it's just a waste of time for me.

Blight.
PH definitely has 0% winning chance against good survivors that split up and do gens and manage to run him for a while using the popular "hold W" strat. Obviously things may be different with Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer.
I faced Excelite's tournament SWF team yesterday and played PH.
Took them about 3 minutes to do all 5 gens as I played without slowdown perks (except for Corrupt).
Most of the time the gens popped while I was walking my way to them after hooking them but I just could not physically arrive before the gens popped all the time.
And all of them just held W in every chase to waste my time without using any skill. One of them even looked up while taking a hit as in "OooOh nooo I'm getting hit that's soooo dangerous hahaha"
It showed me just how important mobility is.
I'm surprised it took people this long to figure out how broken the sprint burst from getting hit is. Allows survivors to run half or the entire map depending on the map size + dead hard, Heck I'm still trying to figure out the 'dead zones' people speak of in Ormond.
-
Shouldn't that only happen when you caught the survivor AND he's vaulting at the same time?
Also sick saws.
-
You can rank up without escaping just saying. If you're actually doing good(Which I doubt since you're new) you would pipping regardless if you got sacrificed.

Fair, but it's not like he couldn't use it. The other trap setters, aside from Demo, can get downs more reliably with their traps. Hag can set hers all over a huge area, and they help her with both mobility and towns. Freddy's slows survivors and places them in like a second. They're so much easier to use in the chase and can help end loops faster than Trapper's traps. I don't think letting him have all his traps at the start of the game would make him this unstoppable force.
Trapper can't do that reliably, because if a Survivor sees him start to put a trap down in chase, they will just run to another loop, and he can only do that up to three times. Hag and Freddy can do that however many times they want, and would get more benefit. I also feel like you keep ignoring that I said he would only have all traps on hand once per game, in the beginning. After, he could only pick up 2. This change would only make his initial set-up process more streamlined.
Hag has a slow movement speed in general and doesn't trap a Survivor and Freddy is getting looked into soon, Trap isn't the problem its the fact that he has no penalty for spamming that crap. Another simple buff would be to disable the RNG on Trapper that survivor doesn't escape immediately and is consistent that they stay there.
I am not ignoring what you said, As I implied already 10 traps spawning on hand immediately is dumb and surely won't cause killers to run Purple/Iri Stone or Bloody coil add ons what could go wrong?. I don't know why the fact that he could pick 2 afterwards changes anything lmao. You pretty much trapped most or every tile in the map what's the point of picking anything up if they reset with ad ons. There's a reason there's five traps in the map and can only be increased with add ons.

Does he really only have up to 8? For some reason I thought the max he could have was 10. I'll fix that. I still think the number of traps he gets shouldn't vary.
2 traps would be nice, but I still hate how Trapper has to just meander his way across maps like Mother's Dwelling or god forbid Midwich just to have more access to his power. He wouldn't have all his traps the whole time, just at the very beginning - just to quicken up the general pace of his set up. No other trap setting killer has to try that hard to set up.
Apparently according to the Wiki there's like 5 around the map which is pretty close to what Otzdarva said if I recall correctly. So sounds about right. Having all your traps in your hand isn't just simple buff it's a huge one.
-
10 Traps on hand? Yikes.
If I recall correctly the trapper has like 5-7 traps on the map besides the one he has immediately after the game started.
The simple buff is just he spawns with 2 traps and you're done.
-
A Survivor defended me from a guy pissed I had devour hope. Pretty wholesome I say only happens like once a year.
-
Hey seems like they changed those killers in order. Nurse, Doctor, Billy, Leatherace so they're pretty much on track I reckon? Pretty slow as hell though ngl.
-
It's because as a killer you put maximum effort and commitment to the match if you actually want to do better. It's absolutely gonna get frustrating if all you get is a toxic amount of disrespect from players who aren't even trying.
At the end of the day the game is 4 v 1. You can make a mistake as a killer and it's game over the other side does a mistake, another guy can just fix the whole thing and they're right back on track.
-
As someone who plays both side I think the perk combo is perfectly fine. I also play Survivor solo queue my whole dbd life. I'm not gonna demand Nerfs for a perk because I got garbage teammates. I am against hand holding players just because they refuse to get better, Sucks that I didn't get escape but that's fine. You get good teammates and you get awful ones that's just how it is.
Do the bones.
