Oh man the days when Freddy was garbage tier that turned into an actual dream demon that torments survivors with more generator time since they really want to do generators haha. But in seriousness as a once Freddy main who abandoned him since even I got bored they really need to change his add ons to be different, It's really boring.

What I usually run is Alchemist Ring (best Add-On for him imo, allows you to be a slightly less lethal nurse but with 115% speed and way more mobility) and Compound 23 (I think that was the UR one) if I feel lazy.
This combo allows you to shred trough pallets faster than even a Bubba could and while Blight can destroy pallets basekit, he also needs to use 2 stacks and it takes longer. With these Add-Ons you hit a survivor with a rush, instantly get tokens back and rush after them, they often barely make it to a pallet, have to drop it early and then you just run into it, barely get stunned and by the time the stun is over you can rush again and down them. It also helps when you need to find the last survivor after closing the hatch by just running into walls near an exit gate, if you get points you know they are close and probably waiting for you to leave.
While Compound 23 is an easy to use boost, the alchemist ring does require you to be good with Lethal Rushes, but once you are it's possible to down people almost everywhere, probably 80% of my average hits are lethal rushes, so Alchemist Ring always finds a lot of use.
Yikes man that's some BP heavy stuff.
Got any tips or Youtubers I could take some notes on? I'm really having a hard time figuring out when to exactly use his Rush. So far I've been using it a awkward Billy saw to traverse the map and I would say I get some lucky hits with his lethal anything complicated pathing I'm doomed. to bounce like a pinball.
Also been using PGTW, Dragon's drip, BBQ Chili and Sloppy and I don't think this is really ideal with his power. What do you think?

they nerf it again or are you referring to the previous nerf? I haven't played as much lately, and as a result I don't often see ruin because of the ranks except on ps5 where I played enough to get to purple again very recently (on pc still 14 iirc). I started noticing ruin/undying once I got to purple on ps5 and I decided to knock out the 20 bones rift challenge lol.
Yeah that was last year ago(IIRC) when Ruin finally got nerfed to how it is.
It's just a story I found hilarious that still applies on topic. Not everyone has this perk or that perk for reasons that they probably don't have said characters unlocked.

Maybe they don't have plague.
I have a friend who finally saved up enough to buy Hag and her Ruin got Nerfed the next few days lmao

As someone who use Sloppy butcher on Bubba I'm hurt :(
Though my reasoning for it is that you'll get to use to your Chainsaw very rarely against Players who knows what they're doing sometimes you don't get to use it all if you don't have very good add ons.
Maybe the Bubba you faced isn't confident in using his Saw in a corn field.

I think the idea behind it is that it adds up across the days.
Not that I think it's a good idea.
So it stacks up?
Would that explain why I just logged in after a year and have 2million bp for some reason.

Borrowed time is a thing.
Though you're gonna a need a LOT of luck if its a Leatherface face camping. Otherwise sorry you're doomed.

Can I ask the veteran blight players here about what add on synergizes the most?
Recently bought the character and still trying to figure out what works for this and that playstyle.

Idk how long you were gone but in matchmaking survivors are grouped together before being matched with a killer. That means 4 survivors will almost always pop into the lobby simultaneously. It does not mean they are SWF.
Yeah pretty sure I was still playing the game when I quit like late 2019.
I go by my judgement which is right most of the time and in retrospective the match I was talking about was indeed SWF considering their coordination, perk set up and tools they brought.

Something you might be interested in as a semi-workaround is that you can dodge the lobby, switch killer and then ready up again. Chances are you'll get put right back with the same group but you'll at least have the killer you want.
It's not a guaranteed thing but from my own experience it happens more often then not. Once the MMR system goes live this won't work but until then it's something you can try.
Edit: Bloodborne <3
Heeey someone caught onto my name's reference in a day haha

Yeah it's for the new matchmaking. Making the survivors you get based off your kill to win ratio on that particular killer.
Although I'm pretty sure they removed it for more testing or something.
Very faulty system then.
Just bought Blight and the first game I got is Survivors who clearly know what they're doing with established perks then when I used my Oni who has a lot of wins prior to me quitting its nothing but baby dwights. So I think I'll consider that they removed it lol

I guess you have to climb up to red ranks. Of course that's not a 100% solution but at least I don't get tunneled as much when I was in yellow rank when I came back.
And my God tunneling is the least of my problem every killer has noed there haha which I'm fine with but barely any survivor knows how to tackle that scenario they just open gates and run.
