I don’t see why not. There’s literally no other way you’re gonna get the five stacks, plus you have to go out of your way to rekindle them (even if the action itself is quick).
But, they should also be blessable.

Hypothetically, if it's on par with the other healing perks, doesn't that mean it's still good? It's not like people didn't run healing perks before Circle of Healing came along. This doesn't sound worse than those.
I don’t risk other healing perks being snuffed after spending 14-28 seconds (base) setting it up. Nor do I need to traverse to a 24m radius to utilize any other healing perk. All this assuming a totem is even available, as survivors still cleanse dull and hex totems. Not to mention the upcoming haemorrhage rework.
One would probably get more value out of Autodidact or even Solidarity than new CoH as a solo queue survivor. Hence, Self-Care is the optimal choice for solos once more. CoH’s lifespan is over outside of coordinated SWF.
-
With the new haemorrhage effect, no more baiting 99% heals for Resilience.
-
The only way I would buff Distortion is to make it block killer instinct too. Unlimited, automatic aura blocking is way too strong. The reason you get four tokens is to determine which perks or add-ons the killer is using. You can then decide to keep blocking that same perk or add-on with Distortion, or save the tokens to determine other aura reading perks or add-ons the killer may have.

I know this is off topic but weren’t you able to get 1 stack of MoM for a safe unhook? Could’ve been a dream. Maybe they could increase it to 4 and add safe unhooks too?
Didn’t see anyone reply to you. No, it was originally any three basic attacks to trigger. Alternatively, they could count protection hits as hits to protect healthy survivors. For some reason it’s only considered protection for injured or carried survivors - which doesn’t make sense.

I mean, some med kits are now faster than boon healing, so... Why is nobody screaming "nerf medkits"?
They should've just allowed killers to destroy the totem.
Shhhh.. there are people calling for medkit nerfs. The last real good item survivors have left.
-
CoH getting two nerfs so far while face camping and tunneling remain untouched is spitting in the face of survivors. Also, where’s that ping system for solo queue?
-
It was good while it lasted, it’s now basically a dead perk. No reason to run it over any other healing perk and/or a medkit. So long, Circle of Healing. Say hi to Boil Over for us in the graveyard of perks.

Uhm yes you always bring a map offering when playing Scratched Mirror Myers unless you wanna get destroyed.
So in this case, you got destroyed instead of having every aspect of your desired trial going as planned. Don’t see the problem here.
-
Hmm, you didn’t disclose if you brought the Lery’s map offering or not. Did someone’s little plan possibly get foiled?
-
You may as well get Flip-Flop now if you don’t own it or plan on purchasing Ash. It may be your only chance for a very, very long time.
-
The last time I remember playing as him was with perma tier III. Got Torment Creek, whoopie! Secured a whopping 1k basement camping end game. Did get a handful of hooks and try to patrol gens, but was a pretty fruitless effort.
-
It doesn’t work due to various play styles. Also, at least one killer would be totally screwed by it: Twins. Arguably Trapper too, concerning trapped survivors.
-
I think it is strong enough to remain a hex, and is in a perfect place as a totem slowdown perk. Undying only protects another hex once; Thrill could possibly stay up at full strength the entire trial. Survivors have to carefully choose between blessing and cleansing (if either) when ToTH is in play. So much spent time, even if only once in the match.

Do you think survivors will bring Distortion to counter...a Legion?
Perhaps, at least for a while after their buff. Killer Instinct is arguably the second strongest tracking tool killers have, behind aura reading.
-
Don’t play DbD if you don’t have thick skin. Much bigger issues in the game than this.
-
It would be great to have OG Freddy back with some tweaks. What we have now is pitiful. Add-ons especially.

As a survivor like the idea in theory but if am looping a killer really well and hit 3 mins (rare but has happened) does that mean at the 20 mark i also get the crows? Also easily gotten around by touching a gen for the barest of seconds and moving away. I think there needs to be away to be able to report the lack of game play and if the system sees a distinct lack of game play from the survivors or an AFK killer then the game will shut down the trial. This would also give the names of the people who are not playing in game play. I was in a game yesterday where two survivors were dead and the other survivor was simply hiding and not doing anything. I tried to stay hidden but it was impossible to do a gen so in the end I used the flashlight I found and the pallets around the map and a looped that killer for fun.
The repair timer can be made higher and paused for being in chase. Anything is better than what we have now.

@EQWashu said:
If someone refuses to participate in normal gameplay for an indefinite or extended period of time (such as hiding and not touching generators for an hour, as you mentioned), then yes, this would be considered holding the game hostage, and a reportable offense.
Along with the in-game report (required), video evidence of the match would also need to be submitted via a Support Ticket for the ACMs to review: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Rather than writing a thesis and needing to report outside of the game client, why can’t we have an in-game feature to prevent this from taking place to begin with? Such as idle crows swarming survivors who don’t touch a generator for 20+ consecutive seconds after three minutes have passed.

Against a survivor you just hit that will be able to make 0 distance because you have almost no cooldown on your hits while going at insane speed and being able to vault pallets too
Then bad on the first three survivors for letting him get three FF hits. Lol.

@GoodBoyKaru here, now it is answered
Nice, legion will go back to being a "kill myself on hook" killer.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2873660#Comment_2873660
No
Dude, you are blowing this way out of proportion. You’re gonna DC/suicide against Legion who needs to get five successive FF hits for an insta down? Against an already injured survivor?
-
The funny part is, the only impact it will have is against an injured survivor who already needs to mend. It’s basically just a reward for an extremely rare circumstance, unless you’re facing potato survivors.
-
Yeah, most of us have been asking for ways for survivors to gain more BP.. didn’t think it would come this way though. 😂
-
The ‘lost in translation’ vibe is pretty funny. My favorite: “bodyblocking and tossing beds on the guide.”
But yeah, solo queue is what it is… we’ll see about this rumored new ping system.

That combo isn't oppressive. I can't remember killer ever having an oppressive perk combo actually.
Ok… this is where I say:
-
Usually only with a key as a survivor, and regularly while solo on DbD mobile (where hatch and key nerfs aren’t live yet). But yeah, real helpful for closing hatch as killer too.
I’m of the opinion the hatch and key nerfs may have not needed to be so harsh if they only they had never invented these offerings - or at least made them available to survivors.
-
I wouldn’t mind a minimum distance between the scourge hooks (that should be a given), but for me it’s a no to making all hooks become scourge hooks. That’s kinda the whole theme of the set of perks - hooks that stand out from the rest. They could also make additional scourge hooks spawn. Maybe a couple more at base, and/or for each scourge hook perk you have equipped.

Can't ignore it in solo q. Your team mates make it impossible to win.
Scott jund made a video about it before he left for elden ring. He is stuck in low mmr and can't get out without swf.
If we’re thinking of the same Scott video, he didn’t say he was stuck in low MMR; rather, that he ends up there due to always being altruistic no matter what - even against the likes of a face camping Bubba. For him, the daring/suicidal altruism is more fun than escaping just for himself. He also expressed that it must suck for the killers he faces too, because his MMR has no real bearing on his actual skill.
I don’t care for MMR as much as the next DbD player, but wanted to clarify that.
@humanbeing1704 said:
Ever since mmr was added I definitely feel like teammates have become more selfish due to the mmr rank ups from escapes
Yeah, teammates now just leave me stranded too as a solo all the time since MMR. When I see they had BT, weren’t on death hook, and even had unused DS (!), it just makes me all the more frustrated. Though I don’t see the reason why people would want higher MMR? As we both recognize, it doesn’t equate to higher skilled/good teammates, nor does it come with any rewards at all. But it sure brings sweatier opponents! I just wanna escape to get the 5k BP and, well, it’s the objective… lol.
-
Bad bait. Tombstone add-ons are not a mori.
-
Yeah, that right eye is way out of place.

Huntress: slow killer, takes time to pull up a hatchet, pre dropping can be used to prevent getting hit by said hatchet
Nurse: Can noclip through said pallet at practically any time she wants
Not really comparable are they?
Nurse: even slower than Huntress, has to charge her blink (giving audio and visual cues to the survivors of all she is doing, like Huntress), and has to charge long enough and aim the blink to properly avoid or read the pallet.
And no, not any time she wants. She has to have available blink charges.
Don’t see the problem here.

Now you know not to use auric cells.
What is even the advantage? Isn’t the cost the same as buying directly off of the platform? I myself always wait for a sale on licensed DLC anyhow.
-
He was further a mistake because he doesn’t have any tricks. Ricocheting blades don’t count. Wish he was never added.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Two things are mandatory which need changing:
- Blinking through Walls needs to go.
- Increase of Movement Speed to at least 4,4m/s
First thing is what makes Nurse broken, because she ignores Pallets and Windows. Second is what makes her harder to learn (I think the difficulty of learning Nurse is greatly overexaggerated, but being the one Killer who moves slower than Survivors make her harder to pick up for newer players).
On Top of those mandatory things, her Kit should be tweaked around that. Like, Blinks as a Power are still fine, but they need to be adjusted so that they help with chases, but are not her only tool to catch Survivors.
So basically, turn her into what nearly every other dang killer in DbD already is. So much fun and variety. Nurse is fine.
@Veinslay said:
I would remove both blinks, up her movement speed to 4.4 and keep the fatigue after she misses a swing to provide more counterplay and make her less boring and unfun to play against
Did you forget a “/s” at the end of your post? 🤣
@indieeden7 said:
At this point I literally don't care about her power, I'm just fed up of people stacking slowdown / exposure perks on a killer that literally ignores every line of defence that survivors have in chase.
Nurse doesn’t ignore survivor defenses; she only changes how you use them. Same as Huntress, Spirit, Nemesis, and others. If you have issue with her, you best be complaining about them too.
-
Blinding the killer might be an issue. 🤣
-
That wouldn’t be possible. People will just blacklist maps for any reason, and it would also conflict with map offerings.
Your best bet is to just sit in a corner and let them do gens until you can open the gate. They’ll still get BP, you’ll not eat a DC penalty, and you’ll also drop in MMR (that’s a big win to me).

So if a survivor waits 10+ minutes for a game just to have their internet hicup at the start of a match you would be against, say a 30 second grace period for them to reconnect even if their character just stood there afk? Why?
You know, as long as they don't add bots in.. I wouldn't mind that. Not sure why I was opposed to the idea survivors reconnecting to be honest. As long as it doesn't involve bots. Bad experiences with DbD Mobile. 😆
-
I hope not. For survivors, only in the case their husk is idle. I don’t want bots in the game, they don’t make sense to have in DbD and are terrible in the mobile version.
Edit: Totally updated opinion.
-
Forget the final gen; some teammates won't commit to any gen that's almost done as the killer's coming. Like, while healthy and not a one-hit down killer. The entire game can be lost for survivors over decisions like this.

Huh, interesting. Do you find it is worth bringing on your build versus other perks? Or is it just kind of a fun perk to try out once in a while?
Well, my situation might be a bit unique. My Huntress doesn't have the greatest selection of perks. She's just been leveled to 50 and that's it (and this was who knows how long ago). I haven't spent all the offerings I want to on her yet before prestiging her. So STBFL tier III is actually one of my better perks available to her. But I don't usually run it. Maybe if my aim is really off or something, haha!
-
Unlimited aura blocking is rather busted, which is why I think it has the four token limit. I can't really see a way to make it infinite use or rechargeable without it being overpowered.
-
You might be surprised, but people really don't expect it on Huntress. 🤣
-
To me, five rush tokens is ridiculous too. The amount of mobility and second chances it provide him in chase is just too good at base. If you hate Dead Hard but play Blight with the strongest stuff, I don’t care about your opinions.

"Instantly explode" in the perk description would make you think you would scream.
Eruption and Pain Resonance clearly say the survivors scream. I don’t recall Surge ever saying or functioning in this way, as others have said.
-
Corrupt Intervention I only use on Trapper and Hag, if ever. But I can't remember the last time I even bothered using it. There's so many better perks that will last me the whole match.
I only use Lethal Pursuer on Nurse and Oni right now. Much better consistency with information versus RNG of generator blocking. Kinda important to get those chases/powers going with them too.
Though in both cases, I usually just prefer a perk that's going to give me value the entire trial.

@Zeidoktor said:
My own idea was, rather than buff healing speed directly, Circle of Healing buffs skill checks.
As a rough example, healing others is normal speed and healing yourself remains 50%, but every successful good skill check offers a bonus 15% (or one Autodidact stack), 20% for a great skill check (as Greats are with +5% already).
Still boosts healing, seems less oppressive on paper, and offers a legit trade-off with Self-Care (stronger skill checks vs not having to have/ be in range of the Boon)
No, that's too RNG dependent (on top of skill, though that's a lesser issue here) - which is why you never see Autodidact. 14 seconds to setup a boon, that can be snuffed, to possibly get skill checks... that if I hit skill checks then give the effect? No.
And how many times are you just getting a skill check as an action is about to be completed, or does complete as the skill check would be available? I don't want to imagine that frustration with Circle of Healing.
