Lets see you could've stayed at the first pallet that you dropped, and line of sighted main event pretty easily at that pallet. Instead you hold w and still get injured, and dropped god pallet for no reason... Survivors that do that are only doing favors for the killer. If I was that Trickster you more than likely would've been gone at 4 gens with those plays.

He has insane 1v1 only thing that sucks with him is shack, but I don't even bother with shack if someone tries to take me there.

That addon exists only for the pure trickster mains who ascend to the point where they don't miss knifes. Mere mortals like us have little use for it.
Yea, even us haven't ascended to a level like that, because his knives are too inconsistent for it to happen.

This add-on makes playing Trickster pure sufferning, i played it and got ######### massacred
The idea is actually pretty cool, shooting a lot of knives without missing makes them stronger and stronger, but trying it in a real match it just doesn't work that well, the Trickster playstyle (at least for me) is to just spam knives as much as you can until you down the survivor you're targeting, and if you're a mere mortal like me, you will miss some knives on this process.
I'm not pissed or anything i just thought it funny.
But that's it guys have a nice day y'all <3
According to stats. I have 5.7k full laceration damage on Trickster, and on Steam at least I'm #4 global, and I can tell you that the addon is useless even though I have insane aim with him. His knives are too inconsistent. It's only good for snipes otherwise it deserves to be in the garbage can it's one of his most useless addons. Even technically the top player for Trickster doesn't use this addon, because he even realizes how trash it is. Both of his iridescent aren't good at all. Pretty much all but a few addons of his are death throes trash tier.

Nvidia Geforce 1060, 16gb ram, 3.6 processor. Ultra settings. No lagging or frame drops whatsoever. Is this game really that inconsistent? Half my friends don't play it because they say that their computer can't handle it, I didn't believe them but now I'm wondering.
EDIT: I just realized that most or all of you are playing on Windows 10. I forced my computer to work with Win7 even though it's meant for (and some parts are falsely listed as only compatible with) Win10. I've heard that some games perform worse on Win10, I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Wouldn't explain the console framerates that some of you are suffering with though.
Game is inconsistent in terms of performance yes. It might also might be because I have it installed on ssd I'm not sure.

Oh yea in bloodwebs I don't see BNP very often. Maybe like once out of like every 10 bloodwebs for me usually. I usually get the odd bulb lol.

Not defending BNPs, but aren't they just as rare as Iri Heads?
I get a lot of BNP games, but it could just be my luck. I'm not sure why a lot of people have been using them lately. I didn't use to run into them very much, but lately I have been running into 3-4 mans running it with commodious, but they don't stack streetwise/Built to last with it though.

Just play Trickster. They'll both be on the ground if they try something stupid like that. Otherwise perk is fine, and can be dealt with pretty easily in my opinion. I think it's getting it's numbers toned down a bit for how long it can be active also anyways.

You just gotta keep improving. Also playing characters that are considered lower tier, and becoming really good at them will also help you a lot against these teams, because they expect for you to be bad at the game, and then you slap them into the next dimension without even thinking twice, because they underestimated you is the greatest feeling you can have in the game.

As easy as killer is, why on gods earth is it necessary to crutch on the same things over and over for free wins? Does it not get boring winning very easy?
First game of the day: Hillbilly with Ruin and Tinkerer
Second game of the day: Nurse also with Ruin, Tinkerer, and even Starstruck on top of that
Third game of the day: Huntress with Ruin. I killed myself and exited the game. I knew the 4th match would be another Huntress or a Spirit probably.
This is ridiculous and very embarrassing for killers. It's more embarassing for the devs that are so incompetent that they leave all of these training wheels in the game for killer to get a 4K every game.
Once again, balance the game and make it fair for a change and stop pandering to baby killers that want easy wins.
I crutch on Shadowborn. Easy wins for me every game.

Would you like your killers to look like zombified corpses aka the Plague or angsty rejects from a drag act aka the Trickster?
etc etc...
Exactly this though. I've done quite a few survey's in my time, and it's exactly what you said.

My 2k became a 3k cause they wanted to be little dickweasels. Does anyone else have stories similar to this?
Had a similar thing happen recently with a Kate on Haddonfield. Really good SWF team. She was the last one alive, but I closed hatch. She got door, and she was teabagging at the door. I downed her with my knives, and she was too far away from the exit like by a margin though, and so I picked her up. She was not happy.

I try to do the same but when 2 people look exactly the same, it's hard to keep track near the end of the game. Hopefully, the devs might at least test it to see how people react to it.
I don't see a problem with it. It isn't like not having a hook counter is going to stop tunneling or anything, because tunneling will happen as much as with it or without it. It's just a QOL change that's about it.
-
@AVoiceOfReason said:
The same as the survivors. (Edit: The reasoning is, it would help the killer make better choices and if the killer wants to farm with the survivors, he/she won't accidently kill one.)

Yea, that's what I combine with it whenever I do feel like ruining games. Addon needs to be changed to do something else or at least make it a bit more skill based. Even though it is a skill based addon, bad clowns can still spam 6 bottles until they get lucky enough to get one direct impact. God tier clowns only need 1 lol. You literally don't have to reload for 6 downs it's so broken.

90% of my games are babies, even at Red Ranks. They run past pallets and window and die in open fields. Going against even mildly coordinated SWFs is the most fun I've ever had in this game, playing since Dec 2016. Killer is in the strongest place it's ever been in the game, and it's not even close.
On top of that, when I SWF with friends you want to know what the comms is? 60% RuPaul memes, 30% dramatic screaming, 8% ripping on each other, and 2% talking about the current match. And yet we still win the majority of games, on average having 1 person die.
The reality is 99% of SWF you face aren't deathsquads, just people messing around with friends barely paying attention to the game. If you are losing frequently enough to that to complain on forums, then maybe the problem isn't "overpowered swf on comms reeeeeeeeee", maybe the problem is that you aren't as good as you think you are.
And no, being "red ranks" doesn't mean anything for validating you opinion. It hasn't for a long time. If you *are* red ranks AND losing that frequently, all it means is you've put in way too much time without any of that time reaping noticeable improvement, and again, the problem is you, not swf comms. A group of good players will win against bad killers, comms or not. Accept it, stop blaming outside factors, and get better.
I want to be friends with you. You nailed everything I said on the head. You are 100% correct on everything. Always nice to see someone with an actual true mindset of the actual truth about the game. Red ranks are filled with people that should be in yellow, and that's just a fact. The pipping system doesn't mean a whole lot. Like I said before I got to rank 1 killer 8 days after I bought the game. If that doesn't show anybody how easy it is to pip up and win matches even as a brand new player then I don't know what does. The ranking system doesn't mean anything until true MMR comes into play. People base their lack of skill on the actual truth. The truth is, is that your skill isn't there enough to actually win these games consistently. When these survivors generally have no idea what they are doing half the time lol.

I dont think it is fine anymore. Since he does not slow down anymore after throwing a Bottle, it is really easy to get consistent Hits with Pinky Finger. If you get the Gas effect before, you have it quite easy to get the Hit afterwards IMO, sure, it costs 2 bottles (if you are quite close), but it is not hard anymore.
I bop them in the head across the map consistently with clown, direct hits are an absolute joke once you get use to it. The only reason why the addon didn't get changed is because 99.9% of people suck at clown, and the amount of people who have mastered Clown is like a dozen only. Just on like the dozen of us, it's incredibly busted. Even ClownIsKing agrees that it should be changed he said it before. I've used it against suspected deathsquads when I actually use to look at lobby, and even they lost to it, because direct impacts aren't that hard. I only use 1 bottle though, because that's enough for me.

So I got a new account on Steam like a week ago and started farming. I decided to actually play all killer I rank up for their teachable and Bubba was my second after Nurse.
I love the fact that you can camp someone who just wanted to DS me and then the team dies because they all try to save that person. Same goes for those who don't let me leave an area and unhook someone with BT. It just feel so nice to see the entire team die because they just want to used their anti tunneling/camping perk when I didn't initially planned to camp or tunnel. Plus with 3 charge you can double hit someone who has BT activated and get him down again and since most survivor can't abuse DS anymore I see it about once on every 10 survivor.
I agree very good stuff. Keep up the good work.

That's fine for the next game, I guess. I wasn't aware of the bug until halfway through the match when it was clear hooks weren't respawning.
You can farm them easy for bloodpoints. These squads try to bully you, and make your life a living hell, but just catch on if you see a hook go down after a first hook, and see if they are trying to sabo and stuff. Scout a corner where most hooks are, and you should be alright. I tend to call these matches easy bloodpoints lol.

Not all streamers are toxic though... Just because they are streaming doesn't mean they are automatically toxic. I've made friends with quite a few of them, and most of them are relatively good people that just want to stream.

Can we get some emergency patches for some of these game breaking bugs?
Hooks not respawning leads to the Swf team I had today where they all ran breakdown and sabeteur. No hooks left on one side of the map after 10 minutes. I had to let them bleed out.
Makes you wonder what QA process is involved when theoretically these perks aren't even changing, and yet bugs like this are introduced.
I made a post on this, with a squad I dealt with last night, but if you can catch on early in the game what they are doing. Push them to a corner where there is a lot of hooks, slug them all, and hook them there. These sabo squads will tend to cause a lot of mistakes, and you can take advantage of that. Typically these teams end up getting 4 slugged.

I get called about everything in the book at the end of the round if they are on PC, but I just laugh it off. People are going to say some strange things sometimes. @twocansofbean said:
When I think of DBD, I think of a fun board game that you bring out at parties. It's not too hard to learn and the randomness keeps things a little bit interesting.
Like there's no possible way to get the same addon's or offerings each time. So killers aren't always wrecking with some ultra-rare addon build. Even the randomness of getting a swf team is fun, it's like walking into a dungeon room and now you're in a mini-boss battle. Sweating a little bit more is fun, if I lose I don't worry cause it was a coordinated team and if I win I slayed the boss. I get it T-baggers suck, I agree.
I'd also say it, I love hatches and keys. Cause you know what, they make to game more interesting. I've watched an exciting play where the hatch closed. The lone survivor high rolled a key, went back to grab his teammates map, and dove in before the hag got her. And you know what hatches are pretty great way to prevent hook camping in a 2v1 situation. I chose not to camp because I wanted the 4k and I couldn't let the guy find hatch before his friend died. Then it turns out his friend waited for me to leave, got the unhook and they dove into hatch. I bet that was super exciting for them.
Ya'll are getting your panties in a bunch with how this part of the game isn't competitive and what not. But this game is literally about running circles around a piece of wood. We aren't playing some high level thinking game.
So, I just wanted to say embrace the randomness and uncertainty in this game.
True though a lot of people treat the game like it's a life or death situation. I don't know why either. I don't agree with the part where it's easy to learn though. Mainly in the killer department there is each killer to learn, and to actually master that killer can take 1k+ hours to even come close to mastering a certain killer unless you are playing like Bubba, Freddy, Spirit, Wraith, Pig and a few others, but the other one's can take quite some time to master and play on the highest level possible with them. Survivor is easier in terms of learning tiles more efficiently, but like Madlord said the difference between someone with 500 to 5000+ hours is absolutely insane typically, but I've seen people with like 6k hours still be straight out potato still, so it really does depend.
-

I just Dead Harded against a clown and both times he caught me before Dead Hard ran out. Which killers are faster than Dead Hard or is this another latency issue?
So as someone with 1k+ hours on Clown. There is like this thing it's complex to explain, but when you are intoxicated the player can time the perfect I frame better on Dead hard. I think it might have something to do with the slowdown his bottles might give, but I haven't been able to figure it out completely yet. That's how I can swing through dead hard pretty easily on him over any other killer. I pretty much get the perfect I frame 95% of the time on him compared to like the 70% on other killers.

SWF is basically DBD's boogeyman. If you get yours handed to you, just blame it on the SWF squads.

-
@Profezia said:
>The thing is with SWF compared to solo's is just communication, and sure it can be strong, but most SWF groups are just your average players.
Also, it's pretty hilarious how OP so humbly talks about a literal cheating levels of advantage people get by playing in SWF "hurr hurr who cares that they can coordinate their actions and share info, they are still average players, hurr hurr don't worry"
Okay dude, there is no reason to mock someone instead of trying to actually discuss something. Believe it or not I'm not a baby either man. I barely play survivor myself, but I know for a fact that SWF isn't that hard to face. Like I said before killers over inflate it, because their skill level is so low, and they blame SWF for their loses when they are the one's that don't want to improve lol. Considering the vast majority of my games are SWF I never have problems with these players. Maybe you should look at your own skill level before you try to say SWF is cheating.

I was thinking Oni or Plague, but I'm still a bit lost.
Who do you think should be the first killers bought? Or should I just wait for good perks in the shrine?
Bubba, Plague is your choice to go in my opinion. Don't waste time buying Clown unless you want to actually play him, and yes I'm saying this as a clown main, Clowns perks are doo doo for the most part, and pop is a waste of time the vast majority of the time. Run ruin instead.

Controller is a lot harder for killer. Console killers are on a big disadvantage, because the controls on controller are so much harder for most of the ranged killers. The bad fps on last gen doesn't help either.

I wanted to ask one thing about your build, you know how alot of tricksters struggle if survivors are super close like in his face? I bet shadowborn helps with that alot as well.
Yea it helps, because your fov is increased a lot with Shadowborn. It helps with up close throws which is what you want to aim for to keep doing throws after they get the sprint burst so you'll be able to down them super quickly.
