I didn't pay attention to this until I started opening chests for a challenge that I hadn't done yet. Everyone's right, 50 percent of the time I open a chest it's likely to have a key inside. I'm currently running down all of my character's items so that they can be used up rather than just deleted when I prestige, and it's gotten to the point that I'm literally just walking up to other survivors and leaving keys or flashlights on the ground for them. I figure someone might as well use them.

Yes, and that's a serious problem. Keys are pretty much free candy right now which is just a little too much.

  • @OniWantsYourMacaroni said:

    I really hate keys.

I see them in the majority of my matches now.Either they bring them themself or get one easily out of a chest, which is also why you see more people using hatch offerings.

I'm kinda getting tired of panicking when i suddenly see a key and more or less being forced to tunnel those survivors with a key.

I just want to play normal games, that's all.

Don't get why they can't just change hatch spawn conditions to either the last survivor remaining in the trial or all gens getting done.

But then again,BHVR is always really slow with super easy changes🤷‍♂️

Honestly I don't think it would be that bad if they just fixed the chest bug, because I still saw them frequently, but now there being a key virtually every game, because it's so easy to pull one out of a chest along with other purple items which honestly is ridiculous. Whenever I do play survivor I pretty much get something purple every game, because of the bug. People literally can burn a hatch offering and a coin every game and guarantee a key if they mess up with gens, which that's their own fault, and should be punished for it. Not some outdated mechanic that shouldn't be in the current state it is in right now.

  • @Northener1907 said:

Keys did not nerfed yet. Wait for update dude. And they are still working on new hatch. So we will just wait.

I know they aren't nerfed yet, but I'm still saying with the chest bug going on where a key pops up pretty much every single round 95% of the time, and there being a little counter play, because survivors hide the keys. Most of the time it feels like you don't have very many options, but to slug before it gets down to 2 gens if you want to at least 3-4k.

  • Game is so pay to win. I played it once, and it wasn't even fun when the game is pay to win. Poor kids parents wallets must be drained from that game. At least mm2 and arsenal aren't pay to win.

I will inform her. :) I would love a supernatural chapter though too. Not sure if we will ever get it though. Honestly I think some of the off brand monsters on that show could work as a killer.

So negan is going to be chucking neon colored knives?

Like many players have said hillbilly is not fun to play and a shadow of his former self. It’s unfair towards all hillbilly players because according to the devs he was the most balanced killer, but they nerfed him to the ground and made him unplayable due to his power limitations/bugged animations/useless addons. Otz explains everything in this video,he is a high skill low reward killer and his addons are inexistant. Devs should fix their biggest mistake and rework his addons and buff him.

Otz still has clown in D tier, and ghostface in C tier. Even though ghostface is literal trash tier. Clown is literally at B tier, because clown can do some absolutely nutty stuff a lot of the times. I love otz's content, but his view on some of the killers is just so off from an actual fact that I can't take it serious.

This is just a mental health PSA.

So, I just figured out what TTV in survivors names means (yeah, I know) and played against a team of twitch streamers a couple of nights ago.

The survivors all escaped but it was a fun match and all but one was on their last hook so I thought it would be fun to see the match from the survivor side. Big mistake. Twitch streamers are really mean.

The streamer posted the full night on his channel and they just were the worst. Apparently I deserve to be put on a "registry with sex offenders" because I ran tinkerer. I am a (bad word) because I am rank 1 (I didn't make that judgement call, I don't even know how to run loops, it isnt my fault the game says I'm rank 1).

They acted like everything successful I did was an example of my moral failings, and I didn't deserve any hits i got or hooks, but also that I was moron when I made mistakes.

They were running OoO, playing with perfect communication and stream 6.5 hours every night about.

Like why have that toxic attitude? It's like a pro football team smashing a bunch of high school players, calling them (bad words) for losing but when they fumble screaming at these kids that it isnt fair since they are wearing red jerseys.

So, don't watch past Twitch streams. Live in your head that the people you are playing with are kind and just having fun like you. Twitch streamers, I hope you are entertained.

Fyi- I play on console so no post game chat. I now see how that might be for the best. Oh, and yes they tbed but everyone does, I don't take that seriously.

Most people who stream are generally pretty nice, and I will be streaming again here soon, and I'm pretty nice, and talk and always am nice. Unless the people after the round come at me on my stream, and I just try to figure out why they want to be mean, but overall I've met a few who were very toxic, but I just laugh usually when playing back, because most of the time it's pretty funny. In my opinion I don't find survivor streams entertaining anyways, but that's just me.

  • @dVine said:

Sorry if the format is weird! I’m posting from mobile!

I posted a clip over on good ol r/deadbydaylight of the killer refusing to hook me and instead watch me bleed out. Hatch was already closed at this point as the killer took their time to find the hatch to close just so they could walk back and stare at me. I was solo queuing and I wasn’t toxic and neither were my teammates. Someone tried REALLY hard in the comments of my post to justify why it’s ok to let a survivor bleed out and got heated that I told them it’s not and accused me of being toxic. Their reasoning for letting someone bleed out is if they go to the far corner of the map, there are no hooks nearby, or if they are toxic. I was on Hawkins and, as I have previously stated, we were not toxic in any way. I argue that what the killer did was extremely toxic. I didn’t want to DC and get penalized for their actions nor did I do anything “wrong” unless you count trying to do the best I can as “wrong”. That guy on Reddit argues otherwise and says it’s completely ok. What do you guys think?

With all the people exploiting the breakdown bug right now. When I see those people I typically just leave them on the ground now. Since they seem to not want to be hooked then I won't hook them now. I don't find it toxic if the survivor wants to wait 4 minutes on the ground by using a bug. Sometimes I will just let them bleed out if they all wanted to be toxic all game. If the survivors didn't do anything wrong then I would view it as toxic, but if they are purposely going into an area where no hooks are at, then they are asking to wait on the ground for 4 minutes.

Killer stress makes me unable to play after like 3 games. I recently ranked up into red ranks and every game seems more like a chore than enjoyable. Comparing it to playing survivor red rank where it feels more like an actual game.

Is it just me? I think I feel like this because playing killer is very unforgiving... I mean I am my own carry potential EVERY game.

There will be a point where your skill level gets incredibly high that most games you can 4k in your sleep at red ranks. It's a grind though to become on that level. Sure sometimes you get the sweat squads and what not, but those are going to be the only frustrating games you might get past a certain gap of skill.

I love the game that dbd has the potential to be but the devs are holding it back with consistently ignoring community feedback, breaking core mechanics of the game every other patch, leaving in unbalanced perks/ items/ addons/ offerings for WAY too long. I've got almost 1.3k hours in the game, had all achievements unlocked until all-kill came out, and I'm having way more fun playing Home Sweet Home Survive right now than I've had for the last 400 hrs of dbd. Never thought I'd hop on the HSH train but I have no regrets other than not getting it sooner.

HSH is literally bully simulator right now. Killer hitboxes on that game are absolutely abysmal, and not even including the fact that a 4 stack on that game running sturdy meaning 4 hits is an absolute nightmare with all the bonus things they get. Game is unbalanced, and honestly I'd rather be stuck playing freddy for 3 months straight than play that game again.

Not the person you replied to, but I’m working on my Trickster and I’d be interested to see how you play Suffocation Pit where the tiles all have high walls and are so easily chained together. I think this is my least favourite map for him at the moment.

I got you bro. I will try to get that map then. :) How I usually play him though at least on suffocation is try to press one side, and don't budge, but you are allowed to budge on that map. The middle part isn't the easiest to deal with on most of the killer roaster, but I can see if I can press mid sometimes if I get that map. I have 10 macmillian offerings, so I should get it lol.

"I don't want to be that guy, but I'm saying if you don't know how to run tiles with his knives then that's a problem on your end."

Sorry to say that you are, indeed, that guy, making a Twins-level Killer out to be OP.

I guess I'm just "playing poorly" if I can't hit knives at long walls. And if I can't connect knives at shack, well that's my fault. Not the Killer's fault for being slow. :)

"There's methods with him that make it easy to throw at people at solid loops. Like knife curving, and needle threading."

I have no idea what you're talking about, sorry, Youtube isn't helping me either. Are you referring to add-ons or something? And if people don't know about it, why are you just mentioning this and expecting me, someone who isn't you, to know about it?

"The chase won't take too long if you know how to run tiles, and mind game."

Imagine trying to run tiles and mindgame as a 110% Killer with a power that slows you down.

The balance behind 110% Killers is that they have a strong power in exchange for being slow. Trickster does not have a strong power, Main Event is also bad. You shouldn't be actively trying to mindgame as a 110% Killer, because they get looped easily.

"You also gotta remember most of these streamers also don't have much of an idea how to play him. Tru3 is a mixed bag, because he also doesn't know how to play him correctly either, and yes I have watched a ton of his Trickster videos. He still doesn't know how to play him correctly. I do enjoy his content though."

Then explain to me and the forums how we commoners just "aren't playing him correctly", since you're saying that basically NOBODY knows how to play him correctly except you.

It's honestly more likely that you go against rank 20/not very skilled Survivors who don't understand how to easily bully Trickster than you actually being a Trickster god, but I'm okay with being proven wrong.

I'm not talking about addons when I'm talking about needle threading or knife curving. I did say I'm willing to back up my claims, so if you would like to see a round or two on a certain map, I'm willing to post rounds on it. Just pick your realm or whatever, and I will send myself there, and post back to back rounds on him. So I can show you how I play him. There are a few other people who know how to play him correctly. Scullv2 is also incredibly good at him. There's a few people I can name that are super good at him, but I'm willing to give you gameplay for him. Needle threading is something that huntress players do also. Where you hit the hitbox of the person that's pretty much invisible or like a pixel perfect throw. Knife curving is something different.

  • @Bard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2145510#Comment_2145510

    Consistent aim isn't the problem.

Doesn't matter how good you are, a decent survivor will just play high-walled loops.

Huntress lands a good hatchet, she gets damage. Immediately.

Even though he throws a bit faster, Trickster having to do that eight times for the same result, and having to do so under a time limit, leaves him in a similar camp as Twins where he simply has too much counterplay.

I mean I do agree high wall loops are harder to deal with him. Mothers dwelling isn't also fun playing him on. The jungle gym's with the long wall on the side also isn't the greatest way to go, and I still think DS/huntress handle those loops much better on him. Don't get me wrong though I still think he's the worst ranged killer. It's not really about the aim, but also knowing methods and mindgames that allow you for you to get the knives into the person easier. I can try to get a round later on, on a certain map where you are having problems, and I can post it for you if you would like. Just let me know which map, and what you would like for me to do, so I can show you how to play a certain tile correctly with him.

  • @OopsAllHexes said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2145510#Comment_2145510

"Consistent" by not abandoning the chase because it's taking too long, you mean? Trickster suffers from not being able to spread pressure easily because of laceration decay. Huntress can apply pressure with actual damage, Trickster just gives small boo-boos that go away. Survivors absolutely do not fear his knives, and will take several before they consider moving. There's no reason to do anything cool with them, no reason to bother hitting anyone else with knives EXCEPT someone you plan to tunnel... it's depressing.

Streamers have said it better than me. I'm not citing them because I don't want to be a robot, however Tru3 put the "sunken cost" problem into words for me, and it makes sense.

I don't want to be that guy, but I'm saying if you don't know how to run tiles with his knives then that's a problem on your end. There's methods with him that make it easy to throw at people at solid loops. Like knife curving, and needle threading. People don't expect it, because people don't know about it. The chase won't take too long if you know how to run tiles, and mind game. There's a reason why I get so many dc's and people giving up on first hook pretty much every single game, it's because people don't expect for me to actually be highly skilled with him, and they doubt me at first. You also gotta remember most of these streamers also don't have much of an idea how to play him. Tru3 is a mixed bag, because he also doesn't know how to play him correctly either, and yes I have watched a ton of his Trickster videos. He still doesn't know how to play him correctly. I do enjoy his content though. I just think if we get into the territory of asking the people with already hundreds of hours into him or the people that have like 10 hours in him. There's a huge gap in between opinion, because there is a lot of tricks that you can pull off that make him a lot better to play. Now playing against a deathsquad on him is a nightmare, and I can tell you that from my experience, but even against some pretty solid players I don't have a problem.

  • @Bard said:

Something like 1.5 seconds to start the action, then start removing one laceration every 1.5 seconds.

If somebody just tightly loops something with high walls for 15-20 seconds, you lose all value from knives you've landed thus far.

If you land some good long range knife shots, but it's not enough to outright damage, they mean absolutely nothing.

This doesn't laceration difficult to get rid of outside of chase (at most, this is a 12 second action).

This is not the idea, because if you know how to be consistent. Usually the laceration won't go down most of the time. I don't have a problem with the laceration meter, and we will be seeing more dc's against him which I already get all the time, because I'm really good at him, and it's hard to have a full round without someone opting out on hook or dc'ing. So this will only create more problems where survivors just give up or dc. Make his movement speed 115% so tiles can be played a lot easier to where laceration won't have a chance to go down.

His powers actually shines on open maps and low loops, while all of these killers basically rely on survivors being potatoes to secure hits. Slap Bambozlee on Trickster and he's not that bad on shack and jungle gyms.

Bamboozle is meta on him. I personally don't run it on him, but I know a lot of the other really good Tricksters use it on him, but they play him very differently than I do. You can usually force the shack pallet down pretty quickly with it on him, because survivors usually end up making panic mistakes.

  • @Irisora said:

How can you call a power fine when 1 or 2 gens can pop for every down of him? Literally every other killer can have downs faster and do everything else better that him.

Idk if you are trolling, playing with potatoes everyday or playing in green ranks. Because your opinion of him is a universe far from mine. His power its not fine at all and it takes really long to down a competent survivor, and for that reason he is the worst.

There is no balance between his slow move speed and his weak power. He don't excel at anything, i can't believe you are saying he is ok.

I play at rank 1 against stacked swf's all the time with him, and if 1-2 gens pop before every single down then that's a problem on your end. That just means you are taking too much time to get downs with him. I have no problems ending chases in 10-30 seconds with him. I don't know how I'm trolling? I go against 2k+ teams all the time and the rare deathsquad, and even against the deathsquads. I don't go out of the game with at least 6+ hook states with him. My average chase time with him is literally 10-30 seconds, because I know how to play him properly. 1-2 gens should never happen after a single down if you know what you are doing.

Wanna know who else can punish survivors who get out positioned? Nurse, Spirit, Blight, Huntress, Bubba, Oni, Hilbilly, I could go on and on, so already on of the things he excels at is done considerably better by many other killers or at least done on an equal level. And because of his awfully designed power, yeah sure you might be able to shred mediocre survivors but even just ok survivors will know to not put themselves in a bad position against trickster and because of that you will have an extremely hard time trying to down people in a quick amount of time due to his extreme weakness with places like shack, cow tree, and jungle gyms.

Wanna know who else can force survivors to bad tiles? Clown, Phead, Demo, Blight, and yet again I can keep going on about how his strengths are already done better by most of the cast. Almost everything he does can be done even better by most other killers. Combine that with the fact that a core part of his power, main event, is so awful that it can be countered by just running around a tall rock or going behind a wall and you essentially just get a much more weaker and situational Huntress/Deathslinger.

Oh I know that other killers can do it better. I still think people don't realize that you don't want to run strong loops with him. Then again with most of the roaster you don't want to run strong tiles. I do still think he is the worst range killer out of all of them, but it's debatable, because deathslinger is pre drop pallet town, and you pretty much auto win, because of the fact that it pretty much counters him completely as long as people are on gens. Trickster I still think excels in a lot more tiles than the other ranged killers. Huntress hatchets are typically not that hard to juke. Deathslinger like I said he is just pre drop pallets and auto win. Trickster still has a lot more to work with, because he has more ammo, and is punished less if you know how to properly use that tile against with him. He is absolute trash tier at shack I do agree, and I've always said I don't bother at shack with him, because it's a waste of time. I do think main event does need a little bit of a rework maybe with like a 30 second activation window, and 115% and he will be pushed up higher. I just don't think people should put not that much time into him and throw in the towel, and say he is a bad killer when he actually isn't.

  • @Angelicus23 said:

The fact that nobody plays him at all makes survivors not prepared, because right now he isn't the worst killer but definitely worse than half of all, and I can tell because my horny soul made me play him every day since his release

Dude i played him non stop first and second week of release and a few more after the patch, i got the adept on the first day and i play in rank 1. I can assure you that i play the best way possible you can play with him.

And you are wrong with that statement, first because you don't have the need to smack people with M1 but instead you are forced to do it and secondly you really can't use his power efectively in most maps and loops. The trickster is the worst creation made by the devs in all this years.

Yes, and I have been playing him since release every single day multiple hours a day enough to get 6.2k full laceration damage lol. I think I've played him much more. There is no reason to get hostile over it. You aren't forced to do it most of the time unless you are running shack. You are better off curving knives at tight loops and needle threading, because more than likely the player is bound to run away after being damage giving you the down. You can use his power just fine in every map besides mothers dwelling, and fractured.

You are giving him too much credit hes not better than any of those killers you listed. All those killers can do better than the Trickster and i prefer to play all those instead. And thats because they all have powers that works and are useful in most situations, while playing Trickster to the contrary you are forced to chase and M1 people instead of using your power.

To me a killer that can't use his power properly and have to forget about it is enough to make him the worse killer in the list.

If you need to m1 people as trickster in most areas then you are playing him completely wrong.

He’s meant to be easily picked up per the objective by the devs. If he was meant to have high difficulty then the reward should match that. On PC he’s ok but he’s seems more of a chore to play than say Plague.

He does have a high difficulty, because the vast majority of people that attempt to play him don't even know how to run tiles with his knives, and when to get the knives into people. Also people don't know that he is meant to be played as a killer that excels in finding people out of position, and push them to weak tiles or into a bad spot. If someone is in a bad zone they won't have a chance. Also a lot of bad Tricksters run STBFL on him even though it's the biggest waste of a perk slot on him. He has an incredibly high skill cap, but is dragged down a bit by the fact that his recoil still exists when it shouldn't even be there in the first place. I've yet to play against a moderately decent Trickster. I play him on PC too. In fact if we go off actual stats I have 6.2k full laceration damage on him, and am #4 global with him. So I have sunk a lot of time into him a little too much infact. He's not an easy pickup, because there is very few people who actually know how to run tiles with him in the first place. If people did maybe we wouldn't be in the position where people call him a terrible killer when he isn't. I still think he needs at least to be put up to 115%, and he would be fine, but even then he still isn't an easy pick up, because most people just don't have the mechanical skill to even play him properly to begin with.

It's truly amazing how awfully designed Trickster is, in fact, I'm willing to say that Trickster is pretty much the equivalent of old legion in terms of how awfully balanced and designed their powers are. Against survivors who share a braincell each, then yes, Trickster is good but who isn't against bad survivors? Anything he does can be done significantly better by literally any other killer. Killing survivors because they're in a bad spot? Bubba can do that better, and so can 90% of the Killer roster. Camping? Once again, 90% of the roster can do it better. Trickster is one of the worst Killer's BHVR have ever put out and it really shows with how the community thinks about him.

I dunno about that one man. I do just fine with him. Even against deathsquads I don't go home with at least 6+ hook states. People still just can't figure out how to play him yet.

I disagree Myers may not have map pressure but he’s stealthy and can instadown and his ability does not have a activation window and does not have a short limit and does not get fatigued and have a cooldown after evil within 3 is done

Myers is terrible though. If there is one killer that makes me want to not play this game again it's playing myer's he's f tier in red ranks if the survivors have a brain.

The recoil is so minuscule and such a non issue, idk how anyone can complain about it.

I'd rather they take the time to buff main event.

The recoil is enough to warrant the fact that his knives are still inconsistent. It's hard to reach a peak when the recoil is still completely random, and not based off your skill.

So yesterday I played against a Billy who definitely knew what they were doing and every time you dropped a pallet against them they could chainsaw the pallet and M1 you at the same time. As they were on PC, I assumed that they were cheating and just ignored it and moved on. But I’ve just gone against another Billy, who seemed extremely inexperienced and they did the same thing. You drop a pallet and they break it with their chainsaw but you also take damage as if they’ve used their M1 at the same time.

Is this a bug or some sort of glitch that Billy can do? I’ve never seen this happen before this week but I don’t go against many Billy’s anymore.

    1. Unlike his counterparts, Trickster does not take away a health state as quickly/reliably as huntress or Deathslinger. Trickster requires 8 full hits to take away a health state while Huntress/Deathslinger only need one, making them the better killer. Yes, he throws his shots more rapidly but they can be easily avoided if you have even the slightest knowledge on how to run loops which leads into my next point...

    2. It will help him in loops/chases. As it stands, trickster takes a long time to down a good survivor (which is like everyone cause I'm a purple rank) and by the time you do get them down, 1-2 gens will have already popped. Time wasted in a chase that would've ended a lot sooner if only you were able to actually catch up to the survivor who's already at another loop/tile and so the cycle repeats! This leads to tunneling and camping which is not fun at all.

    3. It will give him more map pressure. Tricksters map pressure is almost none existent and the fact he NEEDS ruin/undying to perform half-decent is sad. Since making him 115 helps him down people more reliably, getting to the other side of the map to pressure a gen will be a lot quicker. It will discourage camping cause they know they have have the necessary speed to stop that gen from being popped.

I understand people say this isn't what the trickster needs to be good but I strongly disagree. I feel making him 115% will help him out greatly in many aspects such as chases, loops and map pressure. I just feel so damn slow playing him because he takes a long time to do just about everything. I never feel that way playing huntress.

"But this will make him an M1 killer and people will not use his knives!"P

People will not stop using his knives because like huntress's hatchets, they're a blast to throw and hitting them is satisfying as hell. It'll just be easier for him to follow up with an M1 after injuring a survivor? Is that such a bad thing?

I'm also open to many other changes such as laceration meter not decaying, decreased amount of knives to injure, being able to hold onto main event, ricochet being base kit, etc. I just feel very strongly about this one and I stand by it. Will it happen? Probably not but hey, one can dream right? I want trickster to be good. I love everything about him from his design to backstory but his gameplay can be frustrating no matter how fun it is throwing those knives. He's no longer the weakest killer in the game but he still suffers from many of the same problems even with his buffs.

I do think he should be 115% but that's the only change he needs.

Here you go bud this is top tier trickster gameplay, but this is a little bit of an older video. I used m1 once when I ran out of knives otherwise I didn't use it at all.

  • @shalo said:

Don't throw knives unless you think you'll get the injure, don't use Main Event, spend time playing chase Killers like Wraith and Legion to get better at predicting Survivors for your M1. And, most crucially, try to get Survivors that aren't very good at running away.

Don't mind my build, that's the best I have on Trickster at the moment.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sm2ZnFvoMA

M1'ing survivors is not the ideal situation most of the time with Trickster, and not using main event in certain situations is also a bad idea also, because main event is actually solid if you can get it to proc in a certain area.

If you want I can post 1 video of me playing Trickster real quick. I was working on a mega video for him, but I can post 1 gameplay to show you how I play him. Actually I will just for you bud, if you wanna see a super good Trickster in action with commentary lol.

For me it’s Feng, if it’s a good one they can run you all game, and plus they love being toxic and wearing adorable outfits.

Elodie, because they all tend to be super toxic, and do anything in their power to annoy you.

  • @piggygooik said:

Trust me these things can be very annoying but these strategies are used to win. ya I know killers can use this thing just to be an A-hole.

Slugging is used to create pressure and yes although boring it's something the killer has to do to win. this is a tactic extremely common so most people are not phased by it to much

Camping and tunneling are things people are a bit mad at when it does happen. You really can't get mad at a killer for camping if there are people near the hook or its endgame. if the killer knows someone is near the hook you can't get mad at them since what are they supposed to do F right off to the corner. He is taking advantage of your eagerness of getting a quick unhook. He is making the smart play. Now, this is something that you really should not get and at, and that's camping at endgame. The killer is lets say losing and has one surv on the hook. why in the world would he leave the hook he has to secure a kill. it's so dumb to find a surv mad at the killer for camping during endgame when it's all they can really do without losing at least a 1k. One last thing is some killers camp just to also secure a health state since they need to. ya this is probably the most annoying out of the 3 i mentioned but still, the killer most likely has to get a health state or a kill or else they lose. oh ya, some killers have to stay near the hook since they hooked you near their 3 gen.

tunneling is also a thing people hate but most of the time it's not the killer's fault. It's the person that unhooked's fault since they did not take agro or at least a take hit, but still, they blame it on the killer for the survivors misplay. also same as camping sometimes need to do it if they want to win since they need to get someone out of the game quickly. why do you think so many people tunnel in comp play.

All these things are yes as I said before very annoying and the killer can do it just to be an A-hole but most of the time the killer just wants to win. these made-up rules are like if it's frowned upon to start doing a gen right after you did another gen as surv. People make so many jokes that killers get mad at the survs doing their objective to quickly which some killers do which is absurd since its your objective and you should be doing it quickly but mostly all the surv player based just get mad at the killer for killing survivors to quickly for example tunneling since its "noT Fun " or "yOuR A TrAsH KiLlER for Camping/tunneling/slugging." which isn't true since like I said before they do it to win and Comp killer do all of these things all the time and they are the best of the best Usually.

please stop getting mad at the killer for doing things just because they want to win. Why should a killer care about killing the survivors too quickly if most of the survivor player base doesn't care about doing the gen too quickly?

Personally, i don't like doing any of these things but sometimes I have to if I want to win, I know some of you will say "then don't play to win play for fun" but winning is fun to me, and most of the the killer player base.

One last thing you also should not get mad at a killer for doing any of this thing if it's part of the power. for example proxy camping for hag and trapper. These killers are made to be campy they arent meant to chase right off the bat and if you do get caught and put in their web then that's on you. Other killers have to slug to get the most out of their power like most of the insta down abilities, the twins, and maybe blight.

It doesn't make you a trash killer, because you can't play fairly with some of these people who like to hold m1 on the generators like crazy. I just stopped caring what people told me about those things too though. I even put a discretion under my steam profile that say's if I do any of those things, and you have a complaint to take it somewhere else, and I don't care about what they say, and so far nobody has said anything to me since then. It works quite well. The people who complain about it are the people who don't play killer. I don't get mad if I get tunneled or camped or whatever when I'm playing survivor, because I understand you gotta do what you gotta do to win. If anything I hit them with the fat gg, and move on to the next game, because no reason to be upset over a video game.

Oh! I'm new to the game, I see now. Thanks for the advice. Any tips on how to loop effectively?

Don't teabag at all, because if anything you are hurting yourself by not taking advantage of extra movement you get. With Trickster you can use a pretty small loop like that if he procs main event. You could've started the process of vaulting window through shack at least 3+ times before you dropped the pallet, even then you prob wouldn't need to drop it against a trickster. It's just standard stuff just pay attention, and don't camp pallets unless you are on the game map lol.

Is SWF just people playing together or referring to the top tier survivor players?

Plenty of people play together on comm and are not top tier clicky clicky crouch crouch.

I'm referring to all SWF groups who use comm's. The majority of them don't use it to abuse the information that they potentially get from it though. Top tier is on a whole other level.
