So Jason is possible
Jason was one of the options in last survey. So maybe not soon but we can see him in future. Because he is last icon killer never added game and i am glad Devs seeing how many people wants him.
But i am sad, Chucky was not option in survey. I wrote Child's Play to box.

I think the devs already stated that Jason has a standing invitation.
but not as long as the lawsuit isn’t settled.. and That might take much time.. (read here that apparently one of the judges died?)
He has his own game. It's called Friday The 13th The Game. Maybe they could add him, but the people who made Friday The 13th said that they might not have Jason for right now on dead by daylight since the Friday The 13th is having a full on argument.
Resident evil had its own dbd esc game? Doesn't mean they can't crossover. The rights thing obviously is a problem though.

Yea, I'm surprised they didn't put Child's play in the survery either, but they had a few unknown type films that could work in the game that not a lot people know about.
I wouldn't get your hopes up for Jason his intellectual property rights are wrapped up in some very messy lawsuits and not because bhvr doesnt want him. I mean they also threw out scooby doo and I highly doubt their IP owners would ever let it in DBD. Outside of maybe an outfit or a charm, and that's a fat maybe.
Don't give me hope :( I dont wanna get disappointment. But if they get Chucky soon, i cant dream it...

That game isn’t a barrier at all in this case. They just used the license and are not themselves the license holders. Plus the game isn’t being worked on anymore partly because of the licensing hell Friday the 13th is in.

Chucky cannot carry people since he's a doll and there's a point of the game that you should sacrifice people with the hooks to the entity, they might find a way after resident evil if they wanna make him.
That is not problem. They can add new mechanics for Chucky. Drag mechanic and new hook animation. That's all. That is not hard.
After Twins i also thought they were testing for Chucky. Chucky series will start in 2021. So i have little hope for him. He is my fav slasher.
If he came to game, something will change. Because he will be smallest killer. So that mean he will have special pov. Special hook animation. Carrying is imposible, so new mechanic: dragging. Also possibly he will have really good m2 power. I wanna see my boi in game so much.
Most likely i'd see Jason as a Legendary skin for Trapper (And could even be the first killer skin with custom animations)
